I’m forever blowing bubbles, Hmmmm, what a strange song to sing.

I wouldn’t ever admit to blowing anything, let alone singing about it, but that’s West Ham for you, today though they will be blowing something, their chances!

So having spent 17 years of my early life living a pitching wedge from the Boleyn you would expect me to know a few happy hammers would you not?

Well I do, but only one of them has a season ticket, and he only has that because his wife bought it for him, Hmmmm, I wonder how much that cost her, top buying sweetlips, you must really love him!

Anyway, so why am I an Arsenal fan growing up in the vipers nest eh? Well simple, I was born in Bethnal Green, which is E2 and two and a half miles from Arsenal, the Boleyn ground was 8 miles away in E6, which is really Essex, so my local team was the Arsenal.

We moved when I was 4 because the Krays were active and my mum didn’t want me growing up with that influence so we moved to East Ham, or the bear pit as I then called it, as it was far rougher than where I came from, then the Krays moved into East Ham and her plan backfired.

I used to go to West Ham, as in those day I looked after people’s cars going to the game, so for 90 minutes I had nothing to do until pay day, I was watching the West ham golden years though, and used to see Moore, Peters and Hurst, I also saw the Charlton’s, Law’s and the Best’s when they visited, I even remember watching Charlie George score the winner once, happy days!

Anyway onto today, how funny was that watching Sky Sports yesterday and seeing the spuds get hammered, so 1 point behind and 2 games in hand, it’s cringe making, yesterday they were going to win the league, today they will end up in 5th place, all we need is a draw.

I like West Ham, they are like the poor relation in the family that everyone likes, but you never go for a beer with them because you don’t want to be seen with them, I think we’ll stuff WHU today, why? Well one because we are better, and two because although Sol Campbell trains with us, he doesn’t play anymore!

The noises the boss has been making about the keeper situation makes me believe Almunia will be back today, shame for Mannone that, because now Fabianski’s fit, Mannone’s big chance has gone. Still Almunia should have a blinder if that’s the case. We’ll see.

We’ve been linked with a move for Georgian midfielder Zhano Ananidze, he is 5’6″ and if we are going to go for another short player I would prefer the winger Eden Hazard, but as it’s the 84th player we’ve been linked with in the last week, I’m taking no notice of it.

I do have a feeling he’ll surprise us all in the window, and because of the African exodus, I think he’ll buy a DM, my guess is it will be Inler or Matuidi.

Anyway, if the Mancs draw and we win it will be awesome, if the Mancs win, it will be awesome, and if the scousers win it will be awesome, see where I’m going with this?

I’m going 3-1 to us today, because it’s been a while since I’ve predicted a score and today I feel lucky punk, very lucky.

Sorry for the few that got stuck in moderation yesterday both Pedro and I were out, today however I’m mostly in, and will be glued to the TV from midday.

Have a happy domingo all and see you in the comments!

winning today would be so great!

  8. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Geoff you must be 50 plus to have seen those players?

I watched the 1980 FA Cup loss to West Ham. I think we were sunk by a Trevor Brooking goal from memory, anyway, it was late, well early morning actually, so I hit the sack, quite sad. I turned on the radio & listened to the post match comments, & I remember the commentator mentioning how The Arsenal players went as a huddle & stood in front of the fans. Both players & fans stood in silence, as they paid homage to each other, drawing a sort of common strengh from a bloody awfull result. I never forgot that radio moment.

So lets hammer the shit out of these bastards, West Ham must always be beaten by The Arsenal, always

  9. georgian1gunner says:

arsen is tracking georgian star zhano ananidze… hmm interesting….

  10. herbert says:

geoff – interesting to read how you came to the arsenal – and i envy you for all those great players you were able to experience live on the pitch!

  13. Pedro says:

    Morning Geoff!

Did you post forgetting it’s actually 0845?!

Top post, nice to get a bit of history first thing on a Sunday!

This game has a lot riding on it for me… my whole football team has season tickets at the hammers… a very big bragging rights game!

    Come on you reds!

  14. Pedro says:

Herbert, I’ve still got your e-mail in waiting for a post

  15. Pedro says:

    Hello

  16. herbert says:

Pedro – do what you deem most serving the interest of Le Grove with that email and the response i got from the new guy :-)

winning today would lift me up into orbit!

  17. Geoff says:

Gnarley you’re close, it was Brooking, I drove home that day and a bunch of fans were crossing the road in Barking, I went for them only to realise they were Arsenal fans, they really had a bad day!

Herbert, sometimes I do feel lucky, they were great players with shit balls on crap pitches, it would be interesting to see them play today.

Pedro, you need to read the last comments on yesterday’s post! It will then make sense.

  18. Pedro says:

    I’ve got tomorrows post Geoff!

  19. herbert says:

i am off – have a good game grovers

  20. georgian1gunner says:

  22. gnarleygeorge9 says:

So Geoff, if West Ham are the poor relation, chelsea are the new rich chav relation, spuds the mouthy idiot neighbour that never achieves anything, where does QPR fit into all this ;)

  23. Geoff says:

Aussie morning, yes we can sort you out, email Pedro.

    See you Herbert!

  24. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Bye Herbert see you in orbit, chamoneeeeeeeeee

  25. Geoff says:

Gnarley they are the club we send our up and comings to, the loanie club!

  26. Big Raddy says:

    Morning All

Great post Geoff. Took me back to the old days when East London street urchins used to ‘look after your car’. My Dad always paid because if you didn’t your car would get trashed.

I have a special antipathy towards WHU caused by being attacked at Upton Pk. And the overt racism of the fans. Remember when they signed Clyde Best, and the Chicken Run booed him all the time, then the years that they threw bananas at Kevin Campbell and Wrighty.

When I was a kid I used to stand at the front of the North Bank, and when WHU came to play it was always a bloodbath. I once got threatened with an axe by one of the numbskulls (thankfully the police saw him and threw him out) …. and I was only about 12 !!

Nice friendly club? Good fans? No way ….. they are a bunch of hoodlums.

    Hope we smash them

  27. georgian1gunner says:

also he scored header and made an assist , 1 week ago to their main rivals lokomotiv moscow, and they won 3-0

  28. Aussie Az says:

cheers geoff, Also what about woodgate why do people keep giving that injury prone bloke a run?

  29. Geoff says:

Raddy if they didn’t say yes, you can look after my car, they lost their hubcaps or we’d prise off their Zodiac badges. I was an Eastender and didn’t know any better.

It gave me my love of making money though.

As for throwing bananas at Kevin Campbell, we all did that!

I was kidding about the bananas!

  30. Geoff says:

Aussie he really is a crock in the Anderton mould isn’t he!

  31. gnarleygeorge9 says:

georgian, looks like another Arswaxin type :)

  32. Dave says:

Hey, wot about Francis Coquelin, Denilson, and Nasri? No war hero in midfield may encourage the whole team to keep closing down the opposition higher up the pitch. Defending as a team is the big difference for us this season, and the arrival of a great defensive midfielder could could add too much complacency to the squad defensively. I still think (since last season) that this is the best squad yet. I have seen som wicked goals and movement this season already and am buzzing about this season. My only concern is injury to Gallas or Vermaelen. If we are in top gear today, we will surely wHoop the hammers. An early goal for Arsenal… DANGER!!!

  33. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Geoff, why did you become a Gooner then, just out of interest ?

  34. Geoff says:

Dave welcome to Le Grove, you are now free to blog.

  35. Aussie Az says:

I cant believe the commentry said that capello went to watch him what a waste of time better of goin watch cheski to see joe cole

  36. Goonerman says:

Who has a video of the so-called fight between Verminator and RvP in the Emirates Cup? Can’t find it anywhere!

  37. Geoff says:

They were my local club and I loved the colours, red being my favourite, the Empire colour and all that!

  38. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Ok got it, it was all about territory ;)

  39. Geoff says:

    Of course!

  40. rico says:

    Morning Le Grove

Nice post Geoff, I have a horrible feeling about today, whenever I laugh at the Spuds losing it bites me on the bottom :(

  41. georgian1gunner says:

they are calling him “new hleb”, “new arshavin”, “new “Georgi Kinkladze” because all they are from old soviet union :D

  42. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Empire red was Alf’s favourite colour but he still loved West Ham

  43. Geoff says:

Rico, morning, not today it won’t, today will will hammers the happy hammers!

  44. Aussie Az says:

i hope that feelin is wrong rico dont u go puttin bad karma on the boys

  45. rico says:

Ok Geoff, you have convinced me ;)

Aussie – I hope I am well off the mark and we whip their hides :)

  46. Bozin says:

    Morning and good post Geoff!

Winning today’s game wold mean so much, and I know we can win it! Jumping over the spuds and being closer to chelski. I think the scousers and the mancs will play a draw.

  47. Big Raddy says:

    GG

I was born equidistant from AFC and THFC. I chose The Gooners because my Dad was a big Spurs fan !!

Why did you become a Gooner ?

Geoff…. I was going to say that but thought better of it (hub-caps, business initiative etc)

  48. rico says:

Good to see Lennon go off crocked again, lets hope he misses our game :P

  49. gnarleygeorge9 says:

BR, I became a Gooner because of this :P

  50. Geoff says:

Gnarley that was so funny, that was pre PC world, no fucker got offended it was funny.

If you say that’s funny now days, you are branded a sick racist, I bet Clyde Best love being the centre of attention.

As soon as I can get Pedro to answer his phone, well put that clip on the post.

    Raddy, good man!

  51. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Evening rico, I watched the replay of stoke winning, but didn’t gloat, coz i know exactly what you mean. Karma works in mysterious ways ;)

  52. Big Raddy says:

    Hi Rico.

I was there that day GG. I guess Geoff was as well

  53. gnarleygeorge9 says:

BR, I know you were there, it was you who passed the ball to Charlie from the goal

  54. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    *for

  55. Geoff says:

Raddy I couldn’t get a ticket, that was pre season ticket days, I watched it with my brother who is a Leeds fan and he wanted the scousers to win to stop us getting the double.

  56. Big Raddy says:

Bobby Moore was class. I just read Pele’s autobiography and he says that Moore was the best defender he ever played against.

    No TV though :-)

  57. Big Raddy says:

Leeds fan? Is there a streak of madness running through the family?

  58. Geoff says:

    I was adopted Raddy!

  59. SUGA3 says:

morning all – hope we will trash’em and leave’em for dead ;)

I became an AFC fan while still in Poland – funny thing, as I was not too much into football as a kid, then the interest developed and Arsenal was the team I took the shine to after watching some league games on the satellite TV and European football…

having a die-hard Gooner mate must have helped as well!

Arsenal was the first team I had ever identified myself with – even though it started in my teenage years, one can say this is the only team in my life ;)

  60. Big Raddy says:

Suga Once a Gunner always a Gunner. It is for life.

If I put all the hours and money and thought into my career instead of The Arsenal, I would be living on my yacht in the Caribbean !

  61. Big Raddy says:

    Still don’t get it Geoff.

Brother must have lived with you in E Ham. I guess they had a handier crew !!

  62. skandibird says:

How confusing is all this clock changing…..I’m an hour in credit and didn’t even know it!!! Anyway, liking the post Geoff; trying to work out your age and reckon it might be 25? (flattery will get me everywhere I hope….)as for WH, I am still nervous
as so want to overtake the Spuds and snap at Chelski’s heals, then onwards.I actually hope ManU/Lpool will draw, but have a sneaking feeling that MU will win.
I remember watching Anders 90 minutes Limpar against Liverpool and John Barnes ‘walking’ around on the pitch, the game seemed so slow against to-days in comparison.

  63. peachesgooner says:

    Morning all

Nice post Geoff – I’ve missed your history lessons :)

When I was 6 I promised a little boy who was also 6 that I would be a gooner for life. His dad was Dennis Evans……and no I’m not that old…..

It was all good though, as we’d just moved from Stoke Newington so my roots were in the right place :)

  64. Big Raddy says:

    Peaches. You a Stokie !

    Proper Gooner

  65. rico says:

Hi george, Raddy & peaches :)

george, 1971, that CG goal was the same for me – ahhhhhhh ;)

I am waiting until 6pm, then hopefully I can really gloat for the Stoke :P

  66. peachesgooner says:

Raddy – you knew I was didn’t you? Riversdale Rd. Clissold park was my park :D

  67. peachesgooner says:

I was seriously in love with Charlie George and I’ve seen him quite a few times at football – its funny how men age

  68. Emperor Gooner says:

just been going through a popular manc blog..boy !!these guys sound rather negative about their club.Majority of em predicted a loss at anfield and many of em labelling fergies tactics as boring and cowardly.I myself too can’t see em mancs winning today which would just be wonderful for us.

I ain’t as relaxed as some of you guys about our game.Whenever we have rosicky unfit , i just feel we lose a bit of sharpness in midfield and even the final 3rd.I’m expecting this one to be close but hoping it’ll be another one of those hockey scores like one

  69. Faceman says:

i’ve had the privilege of speaking to charlie george once, about 4 years ago, when they were launching the highboury flats project he was hanging around the bar at highbury house on his jack jones.

So me and my cousin went over and said hello, had a little chat about our champs league run… as we had just beaten real with that henry goal…. the room was full of pure investors, no real gooners… he is employed by arsenal to meet and greet more or less… so on this evening it seemed me and my cousin were the only fans/investors around… his eyes lit up, and he stood up straight at the bar, instead of slouching on it slightly, when we started speaking arsenal with him

the man is a total total arsenal nut, and the nicest arsenal nut a gooner could meet.

and for him to be our henry of the early 70′s is just a bonus.

  70. Geoff says:

Morning Peaches, you are really confusing me with the Senderos picture, and I know you look nothing like that!

I used Charlie George in that clip as my GSE Art subject, so Skandi that gives you and idea.

  71. treze13 says:

    HATE LATE KICK OFFS!!!!! :(

  72. Faceman says:

    Right fellow Grovers..

time to make some easy cash on a Sunday afternoon, whilst sitting on your arse watching the arsenal.

Step 1. go to paddypower.com and open a betting accout

    Step 2. deposit cash

Step 3. back scott parker to be shown a card @ 3/1

    Piece of piss.

  73. Our year 9/10 says:

WOW Geoff we are nearly back to Tin Baths and crinkly LCC crinkly noise toilet paper,no soft wipes then,i don’t post often, but it was nice to see your post jim[61] well done.

  74. rico says:

Enjoy the match all – catch you when we are 3rd in the premiership :)

  75. goonermichael says:

My grandad took me to west ham when I was ten (1968) it was fucking horrible. Huge fat skinheads doing a knees up muvver brahn. And me a posh boy from Brixton I was scared for life.

  76. treze13 says:

GM your from brixton? skate park there is sweet :)

  77. SUGA3 says:

lol, gm, must have been some trauma, this :)

‘forver blowing Bubbles’ – any chance Wacko Jako wrote this?

  78. kelsey says:

Ah the elite gathering is back, and good morning/evening.

And I was there as well, I re live that CG goal from time to time, pity he had a comparitable short career at Arsenal, as Bertie Mee didn’t get on with our local hero.

CG was the fore runner to Paul Merson.

  79. goonermichael says:

    Trexe
do you mean the skate park near the academy?

  80. goonermichael says:

    Treze sorry

  81. peachesgooner says:

    Morning kelsey :)

  82. goonermichael says:

    Good morning everyone btw

  83. treze13 says:

yeah, I travel there from shepherds bush almost every day these days

  84. SUGA3 says:

yep, he probably does, GM – I used to live 10 minutes walk from there @ Stockwell Gardens ;)

Green Leaf ‘grocery’ – what a legend this place is

  85. Big Raddy says:

    Morning Kelsey, GM.

Good call about CG and The Merse

  86. goonermichael says:

I lived on Stockwell Park Estate. What a shithole. I hate south London. I never go there now My Mum’s moved to a home in Finsbury park. I’ve never skated but that park is quite popular though.

  87. treze13 says:

yeah gets really busy these days, theres one in finsbury park too though… coincidentally i might be moving there in the new year (finsbury not brixton)

  88. reggie57 says:

All west ham fans are like buster bloodvessel from bad manners!!

  89. SUGA3 says:

I only lived there for a few months (came to London for not having anything better to do) and agreed, not the nicest ‘hood you will ever see…

had a few funny situations there, good memories – working, clubbing & buying records: shame I could not get a ticket to Highbury for love or money…

  90. goonermichael says:

When my kids were young I bought them inline skates put them on them and they said “how do you do it dad?” I told them the had to work it out for themselves. I didn’t have a clue. I’d break mu neck. I took them to the Skate park a few times when my parents still lived there.

  91. reggie57 says:

I lived in hoxton N.1 when it was a shithole until jamie oliver poshed it up, there was a 50 50 split with the spuds who then would you believe were the dominant club in north london (for the young fans only)having a elder brother who was a bit of a football thug greatly influenced me of what team to support!!

  92. goonermichael says:

I’ve got some clients who are West Ham fans. Maybe it’s the lack of recent success but I’d rather talk about football with them than tha bigheaded mancs and chavs.

I used to go to Chelsea when I was a kid (being the local team) that was a shithole too. Put me off football til I married into a gooner family. My sister did too so my brother in law was an influence. I’ve been a plastic ever since.

  93. goonermichael says:

    Reggie
It’s really funny how Hoxton has become fashionable.

  94. treze13 says:

yeah i was on crutches for a while after a skateboard related incident… sucks to get hurt but it is my greatest passion after AFC

  95. reggie57 says:

Yeah GM its strange 30 years back it was a dump couldnt wait to move away from there’
now theres artists, actors, turd burglers, all manner of people living there, cant make out why?can you!!

  96. goonermichael says:

I can barely ride a bike treze. A skateboard would kill me. I watch it on extreme sports sometimes. Can you do all that grinding and stuff?

  97. treze13 says:

GM i only started in like april so not yet, mainly learning the more basic stuff still, hope to move onto grinds and stuff soon though

  98. goonermichael says:

There’s not even a tube there is there? Shoreditch is a wierd one too. It used to be a ghost town now it’s full of boys in tight trousers and plimsoles 24/7.

  99. goonermichael says:

    Treze
There is a really good film about the origins of skateboarding in California. Can’t remember what it’s called but worth wathing

  100. treze13 says:

GM i’ll definitely look it up, any idea whos in it or any kind of name?

  101. reggie57 says:

I went into one of my old haunts a few years back (i wont say which pub) all the windows were blacked out
anyway goes in with a few mates all queers with leather strides on with hankies hanging out there back pockets !! Never seen 4 blokes drink a pint so fuckin quick, sweating now just thinking about it HA!HA!

  102. goonermichael says:

No Treze but it’s documntary stuff from the 60′s. Some surfers wanted to surf when there wasn’t any surf so they screwed wheels on to small surboards.

  103. treze13 says:

i’ll have a look round youtube after the game, catching up on south park right now :)

  104. Rhyle says:

I was born in St. Barts, raised for a short while Stokie. Born a gooner and happy for it!

Similar to Geoff, I got chucked out East early on, moving to Romford and have gently drifted further east the older I get. Brentwood now and I figure by the time I’m 60 I’m going to be looking at a nice retirement on a boat in the Channel.

East Ham – always an interesting place! – used to go to the Ruskins back in my Grunge days. Now that place had a distinct odour! Sweaty dampness is the only way to describe the atmosphere! Nice…

As for Stokie, I’m still baffled to this day as to when Clissold Park becomes Lordship Park and vice versa. Is it before the tea shop / animals or after?

Good memories of growing up and going to see the Arsenal on a Saturday, staying over my nans in Stokie and playing football on the dustball of a football pitch in the park. When I was 8 / 9 years old and me and my brother were playing against the local kids I thought it was a good idea to put in a tasty sliding tackle and took off half the skin on my right leg. Can still remember the pain…worse than sliding on astroturf…

  105. reggie57 says:

Have you seen the scene in police acadmey when the 2 grasses were told the party was at that bar thats what it was like!!

  106. treze13 says:

cheers GM i’ll save the link thanks.. anyway, hope Eduardo gets a start today

  107. Big Raddy says:

The whole of that part of town was shite GM.

I started my business doing the markets in Shoreditch and Hoxton. It was terrible.

I recall going to see a house in Islington with my first wife, it was one of those 4 storey flat front Georgian jobs – probably worth €4m now. It was 18k and I recall thinking that it was never worth the money, the area was total shite and the re-sale value was terrible. I bought in Hendon, which gives an indication of my business acumen !!!

    Amazing how London has changed

  108. goonermichael says:

I saw a really weird film called skater dater when I was a kid. weird because he was on a little board with wheels. never seen one before that

  109. reggie57 says:

What end of the market was your stall BR?

  110. Lou says:

Geoff. Is Highbury really only 2.5 miles from Bethnal Green? It always feels farther when I drive that way.

  111. Evo in Oz says:

G’day all, 3-0 tonight! Love being able to blog from the iPhone!

  112. Ruler says:

I really want us to win today to keep the pressure up on top, currently if we win our games in hand there’s no team thats gonna be over 1 point ahead of us, it’s important we maintain the results and don’t drop points, these are the games the season depends upon, we should be winning this game, cause the Chelsea game could go either way, we have a good chance against Spurs but they are also a threat and it won’t be easy, let’s hope we win, ideally Liverpool will also beat Man U, then I think we could go top soon enough if we keep winning.

  113. goonermichael says:

Cole told the News of the World: “I’m not stupid. Some Arsenal fans will never like me and some will never appreciate me or respect me. The first time we played Arsenal it was funny – they were throwing notes at me and it was a laugh.

How’s that for an understatement? Wanker

  114. Stu says:

What i want to know is who the fuck is this “bubbles” guy and why does he get all the fun. A little less blowing and a little more of this wouldnt go amiss – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CWtX-SCCwA

I wont be able to watch on tv today because apparently having an illegal box means the bastards dont like it and end up cutting it off so im gonna have to look for a stream. cunts!

  115. goonermichael says:

have you got a dreambox Stu? Should be ok

  116. MARK GOONER says:

    anyone on here going today
just wondered what tube is nearest stadium

  117. Stu says:

I dunno GM. Seeing as i have never heard f Dreambox i assume i dont. Is it vital?

  118. kirby says:

come on arsenal its our year i can feel it!!!

  119. SharkeySure says:

Geoff re the banana throwing – “I bet Clyde Best loved being the centre of attention”

Wot an absolute cunt of a comment that is Geoff, or is this me having no sense of humour again…??

You’ve hit a new nadir with that one.

  120. goonermichael says:

    Stu
Dreambox is a cable box. Have you got a converted box?

  121. Stu says:

If converted is the same as chipped then yes. My dad is too cheap to get a proper one so i have to make do with one that has to be fixed every few weeks. Its a balls to deal with!

  122. reggie57 says:

    Educate him ffs GM!!

  123. goonermichael says:

Do some research on dreambox 500c stu.

  124. goonermichael says:

I shall be watching on mine today.

  125. goonermichael says:

I don’t know what a chipped one is but you can learn to fix it yourself. You only need to input the keys when they do a keyroll.

  126. Stu says:

Will do GM. Are dreamboxes expensive. Just say a 2007 comment (via google obviously) saying it was £110. Surely the price would have changed.

  127. goonermichael says:

    bit slow today.

  128. goonermichael says:

    I paid £80.

  129. Stu says:

Thats pretty cheap. Is that for a whole year or like a permanent deal?

  130. goonermichael says:

You buy it as a one off Stu. I’m thinking of getting a motorised sattelite set up. But I need to research it first.

  131. goonermichael says:

If you chip a cable box like v*rgin or n*l it’s highly illegal as it belongs to that company. Cable and sattelite boxes are mor of a grey area. There is a test case where sky are illegally prosecuting a publican for showing football from an EU country. It’s actually not really illegal to show a game from an Italian broadcaster if you’ve paid for that service.

  132. goonermichael says:

I’m really looking forward to today’s game.

  133. Geoff says:

Lou yes mate it is, sharkey thanks, why don’t you fuck off to a PC site somewhere you humourless twit. You missed the whole point of Gnarley’s clip.

You are the reason this country has gone down the shitter, fucking PC police.

  134. lc says:

    My team:

    Mannone.

    Sagna- Gallas- Vermaelen- Clichy/Giggs.

    Eboue- Song- Fabregas.

    Eduardo/RVP RVP/Eduardo- Arshavin.

    2-1, Arsenal.

  135. Metal Gear says:

What time is Man u game

  136. Geoff says:

    Now MG!

  137. nishanth says:

    Barazite injured again.http://www.imscouting.com/global_news_item.aspx?id=3431

  138. goonermichael says:

The clocks went back Geoff it’s at 2

  139. Metal Gear says:

    Geoff whats the score

  140. goonermichael says:

    It hasn’t started

  141. Stu says:

GM, thanks for the advice. I will seriously research and consider this. Better than having nothing. Seems fairly cheap too. Thanks again.

    Im off for a dusche.

  142. Geoff says:

    2 nil Liverpool.

Michael, I must be the only person that hasn’t changed my watch, I did the computer, the car, I did the lot bar my fucking watch!!! Thanks mate.

  143. nishanth says:

Think it will be the same lineup that started against fulham

  144. nishanth says:

I don’t think liverpool can win this one.Hope they can atleast end up not losing

  145. goonermichael says:

    You won’t miss it now!

  146. goonermichael says:

If shrek doesn’t play they’ll be ok. If he does play hopefully he’ll make his injury worse (if red nose isn’t just lying) Anything but a manc win.

  147. Paulinho says:

Collison and Behrami back for the Hammers. No Rosicky for us.

I think this will be a draw. 2-2.

  148. goonermichael says:

Geoff do you remember ade coker (not sure about the spelling) he had 2 good games, was the new Pele then dissapeared. bit like gary birtles.

  149. reggie57 says:

    Liverfool to win 2-1

  150. Metal Gear says:

So the best result 4 us is Man u lose and do us all a favour providing we win against West Ham I know alot of u think it’s a full gone conclusion but we still concede sloppy goals due 2 lack of leadership at the back some1 who’s prepared 2 give a bollocking every now and then.

  151. nishanth says:

    Rooney is starting

  152. Geoff says:

Michael I remember Ade playing in the same team as Clyde Best, and yes I’m sure you got the spelling right!

  153. goonermichael says:

That’s a suprise Nishanth! That lyimg rednosed alky is so predictable.

  154. reggie57 says:

Good Im glad Rooney is playing hes a dead cert to get sent off today!!

  155. goonermichael says:

I’m off to play with myself (on my wii) see you between the games everyone

  156. izham says:

what time is the match against the hammers??

  157. SUGA3 says:

Gerrard out, Torres to start for Dippers…

  158. ritesh says:

Hope the team turns up. If they do, we should wing comfortably.

We need to show the killer instinct which was not there in mid-week.

  159. reggie57 says:

Is Eduardo due to play today?

  160. Geoff says:

He’s available Reggie, maybe he pair him with Bendtner and Arshavin.

  161. reggie57 says:

Would be a good combo that Geoff!!

  162. Metal Gear says:

When is this ManU>liverpool game actually on

  163. choy says:

    10 mins MG

  164. reggie57 says:

    coming on right now Metal!!

  165. reggie57 says:

Waiting for the hairy man to start jerking off when liverpool fans start to do WALK-ON!!

  166. izham says:

    anyone got any link??

  167. Stu says:

Why is kick off at 2pm instead of 1 or 1.30? Its insanity!

  168. Confidentgoner says:

I have a feeling that the best Liverpool will get from this is a draw. ManU look sharper, though its early days yet

  169. patthegooner says:

Dont know why, but a bit worried about this game today.

Everyone in the Media are really going over the top about the current poor form of West Ham and Liverpool. Sometimes these days throw up a few shocks.

On paper, it should be 3 points, but unlike other games this season, I have a bit of a bad feeling…..Hope I am wrong.

  170. reggie57 says:

So they can show less of us Stu its soo obvious!!

  171. Geoff says:

If we fancy our chances this season, West Ham is a game we really should win. And will.

The Liverpool game is more like a derby, the West Ham one is like playing Fulham, not Spurs.

  172. nishanth says:

Doesn’t look like torres is fully fit

  173. Stu says:

Thankfully Zola wants to be like Wenger so he will try to play expansive football and we should easily beat them at that. I just hope whoever is in goal doesnt make any mistakes because that could cost us.

  174. nishanth says:

PTG-It will be a tough one.I don’t think we could lose this one but west ham could end up frustrating us

  175. Metal Gear says:

I think different I honestly believe the confidence is as strong as it’s ever been I think we should worry if we continue 2 lose concentration apart from that I think we’ll have 2 much 4 them especially with Arshavin in our team

  176. reggie57 says:

Andy cunt gray bumming up van da sars save makes me laugh!”thats why he is the world no 1 ”

  177. Metal Gear says:

    any1 got the link

  178. patthegooner says:

Its a bit weird this Liverpool Vs Mancs game

There is no lose situation for us.

Liverpool win, then great Man Ure drop points and we catch up

Draw, brilliant they both drop points, win today and we get closer to Man Ure and pull away from the Scousers.

Man Ure Win, Great, there are realistically 5 teams battling for 4 CL slots, and this result would pretty much rule Liverpool out of it.

  179. patthegooner says:

for me preferred result is a draw and loads of injuries and suspensions.

  180. GunnerShabz says:

it will be important we score in the first 20 mins, that will put doubts in the hammers team

am looking at man utd, giggs, van der saar and scholes all over 34 years old

do u think arsene will have these kind of players??

i think they are vital to a team

  181. Bostonian says:

    scrappy match

  182. nishanth says:

West ham will be up for it.Their midfield will make it difficult for us.Their defense is not great though

  183. Bostonian says:

it’s the damn daylight saving confusion

it’s still on here in new england

  184. Bostonian says:

hope so Nishanth, but they have a very combative midfield and height upfront

  185. Geoff says:

Sharkey you can’t called my comments cunts and expect to keep coming on, especially when your comment was so wrong. Go and torment another site with your pc comments.

  186. nishanth says:

Yeah.Think it will be parker, noble collison and behrami. Will be difficult to break them down

  187. Bostonian says:

    commentators are cunts

carragher’s challenge on carrick was fair one

  188. Stu says:

Whats happening in the match? ANy injuries yet?

  189. nishanth says:

    Benayoun is class

  190. GunnerShabz says:

its a shame tomas rosicky is out, i like him and i think he will be back to his best soon

  191. Bostonian says:

    another cuntish gem

the top fixtures in european football !!

    top fixture my aSS

  192. Geoff says:

Do you think that Bulgarian pikey ever washes his hair?

  193. Bostonian says:

    we should have bought benayoun

  194. Stu says:

    Rosicky is world class!

What does pc actually stand for. I know it means “not wanting to offend anyone” and all that bullshit but what does pc stand for? Anyone?

  195. Faceman says:

paddy power the fucking wankers only let me have 40 quid on parker getting a card at 11/4

total cunts, 110 quid liabilty? pathetic

  196. Bostonian says:

    fecked andy gray….

Carragher got the ball and just like ridgewell caught Theo, he swept Carrick…

the cunt can’t even see if Carragher got the ball

  197. Paulinho says:

Mascharano in our team would be amazing, just for his defensive capabilities.

  198. Stu says:

Berbatov washed himself with his own spit…like a cat. Its the only explanation.

  199. Stu says:

Mascherano isnt a great defender imo…just really really energetic.

  200. Bostonian says:

    cunt neville warming up

  201. GunnerShabz says:

    Stu

i love tomas rosicky he so agile when on the ball he is like a ballerina on the ball

  202. Paulinho says:

    Politically Correct.

  203. Bostonian says:

Mascherano is as not even at same level as Denilson

he is just an energiser bunny

  204. AA23 says:

Got a bad feeling about today, the Hammers will be up for it, hope we show some bottle.
Treze the skating film is called “Dog town and Z-boys”, its very good. Also check out “stoked” another skating documentary with a visious twist. Skating was my life back in the nineties, still love it today but I’m far old for it now. Check out Chris Cole on youtube. Top Skater.

  205. Bostonian says:

Evra is really a big cunt…isn’t it?

never apologetic even when he fouls

  206. Paulinho says:

That’s why he’s good Stu. Energetic, strong and sturdy, very quick.

With Song in midfield we lack pace in our defensive third and it makes us vulnerable to loose balls.

  207. Stu says:

    Thanks Paulinho..

  208. Paulinho says:

Whereas Denilson is just a laconic snail. Know which one I would prefer.

  209. Bostonian says:

Torres is being fouled by rotation

and red nose is fuming as ref gives free kicks

  210. nishanth says:

STU-Mascherano is class. His form has dropped a little bit.But his tackling is just top notch

  211. reggie57 says:

    Denilson hands down Paulinho right!

  212. rico says:

    Hello again everyone

The decisions in this game smacks of …

The refs fight back against Fergie… The ref is dreadful, but not as dreadful as Barbytoff!!

Which player will see red fist then ?? ;)

  213. Bostonian says:

    Paulinho

Mascherano would get skinned alive in 4-3-3

  214. nishanth says:

If that was dive than berbatov could have got sent off

  215. rico says:

    oops, first, not fist

  216. Stu says:

Mascheranos form dropped the second Maradonna gave him the captains armband. He is a shite captain aswell.

  217. nishanth says:

    how typical

  218. Bostonian says:

can’t believe the commentators are so manc biased

  219. Rohan says:

    Let Sharkey back on….please Geoff… :D

  220. Paulinho says:

Reg, yep Denilson every time ;)

  221. nishanth says:

I can’t remember the last time our players surrounded the referee. The ref would probably send everyone off

  222. reggie57 says:

Wasnt AW tracking Mascheranos when he was plying for river plate at 17?

  223. Metal Gear says:

Does any1 have a link please?

  224. reggie57 says:

    playing

  225. Bostonian says:

Bolton and everton are having a goal fest

  226. Paulinho says:

I don’t see why Mascherano would get skimmed alive in a 4-3-3 when he doesn’t in a 4-2-3-1 system.

His problem is mediocre passing ability. Song has more craft on the ball.

  227. rico says:

Come on Fergie, get more and more wound up as the second half passes, have another ‘moment’ after the game and lets all laugh when the FA throw the book at him rather than a couple of paragraphs ;)

  228. Stu says:

Im glad our players dont surround the ref because fucking hate it. Wheres the respect ffs. I know its hard to stay calm when things go against you unfairly but even so..these players are supposed to be professionals. If rugby players can be civilised then so should other sportsmen.

  229. rico says:

    Valencia isn’t too bad?

  230. nishanth says:

Yeah. But a little bit of complaining will help.Captains are allowed to do that but then i can’t see cesc doing that often.Chelsea do it all the time

  231. treze13 says:

thanks AA23 i’ll check those out, i saw ‘stoked’ on dvd on sale before i’m sure, were you good when you used to skate?

  232. Stu says:

Mascherano has Lucas next to him and used to have Alonso who rarely left his side. At arsenal every midfielder bombs forward whenever we win the ball so on a counter attack Masch would be screwed if they had more than 1 player attacking.

  233. Bostonian says:

Paulinho 4-3-3 needs more versatility than just being a rabbit..

in all the liverfool matches i have rarely seen him make a useful pass and today all he did was chase around people and make a nuisance of himself..

    he is built for 4-5-1

  234. rico says:

Stu, agree, if I was the ref I would start dishing out a few yellow cards for dissent to players who do that

  235. choy says:

    Facking borefest

  236. Stu says:

The rule should be “the captains and offending players are the only ones allowed to talk to the ref”. That would go a long way to sorting out the mad surrounding of referees.

  237. reggie57 says:

Rugby players civilised you are having a bubble what about the fake blood cheat!!

  238. Metal Gear says:

Mash is a great defensive DM shocking distrubuter of the ball though.

  239. Paulinho says:

Maybe Stu but I don’t see how Mascherano specifically gets screwed – like it’s some problem exclusive to him.

If Mascherano gets screwed then everyone does.

Just look at how United struggle to play through Liverpool year after year at Anfield but against us at the Emirates they cut through our midfield like a hit knife through butter.

It’s cause we have slow, lumbering defensive midfielders with not enough dynamism or acceleration.

  240. Stu says:

That was 1 incident reggie. If you watched rugby you would know what i mean…not that i watch rugby often.

  241. Bostonian says:

Rooney would get a complete card set by christmas

  242. reggie57 says:

    Fuckin pubic schoolboys game!!

  243. Geoff says:

Rohan he got the message, Rico, stop worrying, we got this in the bag.

  244. Stu says:

English players dont get booked for mouthing off because they have a laugh with the ref. Its mostly the foreign players imo.

Best example (and topical) : mascherano being sent for asking the ref a question against United a few seasons ago and Rooney using all the profanities known to man and never even being warned.

  245. choy says:

Not really paulinho… We play a far more attacking wise which leaves a lot of space for the opposition to exploit

  246. Keyser says:

Hardly a fair comparison there, the only time they’ve beaten us at The Emirtes is when we had half our team sitting behind the bench injured.

Mascherano’s a good player, so is Song for differeing reasons, we still need the other midfielders and the rest of the team switched on around him.

  247. Bostonian says:

    Turdinand looks pissed upon

  248. Paulinho says:

    Choy;

I still don’t see how that changes things. Song gets exposed multiples times as it now. Mascherano is quicker, has better stamina, and is better equipped to deal with breakaways than Song is.

  249. AA23 says:

Treze I was pretty good mate.Used to skate southbank most weekends, that was before they closed all the undercroft off. Romford skatepark, boston manor, latimer road, meanwhile. all the london spots. Some of the best days of my life.

  250. Paulinho says:

    Keyser;

It is a fair comparison because I’m taking into consideration the other games as well.

Our midfield was unbelievably porous in the 2-1 victory last season as well, and we did have men behind the ball at the time, before anyone who goes on about how flamboyantly attacking we are ;)

  251. Geoff says:

    Song’s out today.

  252. rico says:

Geoff, I want your confidence, I have even got my gooner shirt on today to bring good karma ;)

  253. rico says:

Thats not good news about Song, who the heck will play there? Nasri maybe…

  254. Geoff says:

Rico apart from anything else West Ham are shit!

  255. Geoff says:

Wenger wants to see if we can play better with 10 men, I think we can.

  256. Keyser says:

Oh come on, it’s not a fair comparison, you sould like A with ‘unbeliveably porous’, we still had players out for that game and pretty deserved to win by a few goal margin.

  257. rico says:

Ha ha Geoff, are they that good ;)

  258. nishanth says:

Geoff-Who has come in for song

  259. Geoff says:

no one Nisanth, we’ll play better with 10 men, we won’t give the ball away so much. It’s an experiment to drop him.

  260. nishanth says:

    Should have dropped diaby then

  261. Stu says:

Thats a balls, no Song? He was supposed to play and get booked so he serves his suspension against liverpool in the CC. Fuck sake! Now Diaby is gonna play there.

  262. Geoff says:

Nishanth, you may have something there, perhaps he’ll try 9 men.

I bet Diaby has a blinder today.

  263. rico says:

nishanth – Diaby before Song any day of the week…. to be dropped i mean

  264. rico says:

Play like a ‘blinder’ you mean Geoff ;)

  265. rico says:

    Bum, Torres – 1-0

  266. reggie57 says:

    Get in!!

  267. Paulinho says:

    Missing the point Keyser.

I’m talking about a certain aspect of play, not who didn’t or deserve the result.

Obviously the upside of our style of play as that we look like scoring a few ourselves most of the time. Still doesn’t mean we can’t improve our play defensively and that other teams have players that we couldn’t do with.

  268. Bostonian says:

    what a goal by Torres

  269. Geoff says:

Faceman I go to every game. I’m more of a man than you’ll ever be you wanker.

  270. rico says:

reggie, do you want the dippers to win?

  271. Rohan says:

Exce-fucking-lent…. United to drop more points, I wager. I wonder what the odds are on a 10 minute extratime now…

  272. Paulinho says:

Good. Now hopefully a draw is the worst case scenario.

  273. reggie57 says:

Yeah i do rico less points for the mancs better all round!!

  274. Geoff says:

You know where I go every game you prick, now fuck off somewhere else.

  275. nishanth says:

    Great goal

  276. Geoff says:

    Send it in you prick.

  277. Stu says:

Fight fight fight fight fight fight

  278. Confidentgoner says:

refree not very experienced but has been good imo.

  279. jaguar says:

    Song rested/injured?WTF?Diaby again.

  280. Geoff says:

Stu that’s the last you’ll see of that tosser. I got rid of two in one day, that’s been a long time coming.

  281. Keyser says:

Paulinho – Not really, because Mascherano going forward is abject he struggles to think for himself at times and when he has too much time on the ball finds himself losing it. Flamini was more intelligent and probably had enough of the same qualities.

You’ve already mentioned it yourself as a detracting feature. Song might get caught out for speed but thats up to the other players in the team to be vigilent enough to not leave him 1 on 3 on a break.

Considering how little that midfield had played together, we scrambled well against United, and if you do offer up chances, the fact that our general play was far better is a mitigating factor.

Heh, dunno why I wrote all that, Mascherano might add defensive stability, his speed would definitely help, but he still has a downside and quite a significant one considering the way we play.

  282. Stu says:

I dont get it either Geoff, they know the rules yet keep at it. I guess he just doesnt like authority fiqures.

  283. reggie57 says:

Whos it gonna be next for the hat-trick Geoff!!

  284. gambon says:

Wow, too much anger at le-grove today.

Any team news yet, apart from the song thing?

  285. Stu says:

What time is kick off? SUrely the teams have been announced by now.

  286. Paulinho says:

Ramsay must be playing today then.

  287. Geoff says:

He’s a little man Stu, they always are, reggie there is only one other that get my back up and he hasn’t been on today!

  288. rico says:

I just hate the dippers reggie and wanted them to get thrashed…

  289. Geoff says:

Paulinho I was joking about Song mate!

  290. paul says:

Geoff did you read my message on how to beat the queues for the trains the other day?

  291. gooner786 says:

    Lucas is not a footballer!!

  292. nishanth says:

    Liverpool looking nervous

  293. rico says:

Phew, thats me out of the equation then Geoff ;) ;)

  294. reggie57 says:

I hate em as well rico but i hate the mancs more, not as much as the chavs though!!

  295. patthegooner says:

    Fergie will be fuming,

It is as if only one team are allowed to get yellow cards!!!!

  296. patthegooner says:

Arsenal: Mannone, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy, Eboue, Song Billong, Fabregas, Diaby, Arshavin, van Persie.
Subs: Almunia, Nasri, Eduardo, Ramsey, Silvestre, Gibbs, Bendtner.
    Referee: Chris Foy (Merseyside)

  297. Stu says:

Best way to beat the queues is to vomit at the start of it and everyone will leave. Simples.

  298. patthegooner says:

Arsenal: Mannone, Sagna, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy, Eboue, Song Billong, Fabregas, Diaby, Arshavin, van Persie.

Subs: Almunia, Nasri, Eduardo, Ramsey, Silvestre, Gibbs, Bendtner.

  299. nishanth says:

    fucking shoot

  300. rsr123 says:

    Mannone,Sagna,Vermaelen,Gallas,clichy,Eboue,Fabregas,Song,Diaby,Rvp,Arshavin

    Subs : Gibbs,Eduardo,Bendtner, Nasri, Almunia,Silvestre,Ramsey

  301. Stu says:

Fucking balls! Eboue on the right win a-fucking-gain! I hate him there!

  302. patthegooner says:

For some reason I cant post the line up, but as expected really

    Diaby gets another crack

  303. patthegooner says:

Would have preferred Bendtner to start up front,

  304. Stu says:

Same team that looked completely dis-interested against AZ.

  305. nishanth says:

You got to be kidding me….Vela not on the bench

  306. reggie57 says:

    Our bench looks strong!!

  307. patthegooner says:

    Fucking strong bench though

    Nasri, Eduardo, Bendtner!!!!!

  308. rico says:

Song is playing, Geoff you old tinker ;)

  309. Stu says:

How many consecutive starts is this for Diaby?

  310. patthegooner says:

Surely this has to be Diaby’s last chance.

    He better play well today

  311. Stu says:

A least 2 of them should be starting tho ptg.

Paul I did, but I can’t be arsed to walk! I figured out I’ll stay and drink longer.

Rico, you’ve always been safe, that twit I lobbed off lives in Leicester so I know he never goes to games.

The other one lives even further, they aren’t real fans, just people with nothing else to do, at least we really support our team.

  317. zeus says:

So confused. when does our game start, in 1/2 an hour?

  318. treze13 says:

wow mannone starts…. wow… why not eduardo or bendtner for diaby though :(

  319. rico says:

Off to get settled down for the game, catch you later..

Now where did I leave that bottle of wine…..

  320. Paulinho says:

    Eboue again. Unbelievable.

  321. Rohan says:

Somehow I have a bad feeling about this game…

  322. Geoff says:

I told you all before, Wenger will always play his favourites, to the detriment of the team though, I can stick Song, even Diaby because it’s in him, but Eboue on the wing is stupidity.

  323. rico says:

Cheers Geoff – you away away from Leicester too, no-one is worth it…. ;)

  324. reggie57 says:

    Is it a 4pm or 4.15 k.o today!!

  338. Stu says:

Thats his 2nd red in as many games against Livershit.

Why did he get sent off?

  339. Rohan says:

    hahaha..look at Red Nose…

  340. Bostonian says:

  341. nishanth says:

    3rd in a row stu

  342. gambon says:

Geoff, and if we win our GIH (Bolton at home) we will be top on GD

  343. Bobby 7 says:

Every single decision Shrek is there bitching to the referee, how come he is never ever booked. Unbe-fucking-lievable!

  344. Confidentgoner says:

Can we trust pool not to blow it?

  345. gambon says:

  350. reggie57 says:

another red card!! keep em coming

  351. Stu says:

Peter Taylor is the shittest commentator ever. It wa the other guy telling me Masch got sent off.

  352. Confidentgoner says:

Nice one with Marcherano, maybe coqlin can now play instead of Song?

  353. Geoff says:

True enough Gambon! The trouble with this is they will have their peckers up for the Cup game this week.

At least that dirty little Argie won’t be playing!

  354. rico says:

    Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa another red…

  358. reggie57 says:

  359. Geoff says:

Nothing would make me go to that shit hole Rico. Not even if I was in debt!

  360. Stu says:

  370. Geoff says:

How can they have all the ManU commentary next, we’re supposed to be playing, or did the clocks go back 2 hours?

  371. reggie57 says:

The thing is no-one sees us as a serious threat? long may it continue!!

  372. zeus says:

Nicely done. Its about time Man utd lost 2 games. Now its our turn to get a jump on the rest. And man city are 0-0 at HT

  373. reggie57 says:

    Its 4.15 KO Geoff!!

  374. dennisdamenace says:

I actually feel a bit sorry for Eboue, because he’ll play wherever he’s asked to play, i blame AW for being a total arse for continuing with this fucking nonsense of Eboue in attack/midfield…..

  375. Stu says:

I dont feel sorry for Eboue…not in the slightest.

  376. nishanth says:

COME ON ARSENAL!!!!!!!Hope the players are up for it

  383. SUGA3 says:

    COME ON!!!

  384. gazzap says:

eboue’s the last of our worries. Diaby starts again when Nasri and Ramsey are available. Diaby can easily lose us a match like this. strongest bench I can remember for a long while.

  385. dennisdamenace says:

    Jamie Redknapp = Shit
    Arsenal’s ‘away’ kit = Shit
    Diaby = Shit
    Eboue (in midfield) = Shit

  386. gnarleygeorge9 says:

    Come on you Reds

  387. SUGA3 says:

Mannone is looking like a bag of nerves…

  388. Stu says:

    Whats it to be lads?

We are wearing the white but i dont have it. SO its either the home kit or away one. What should i go for?

  389. Stu says:

  390. SUGA3 says:

I just don’t get how can Sky offfend its Arsenal supporting subscribers by putting this knob in the studio…

  391. dennisdamenace says:

What the cock is going on with this constant starting of Diaby??

Isn’t he now of that age whereby AW’s own teachings he’s now gotta be ‘killing’ the careers of players like Wilshire and Vela….

  392. Samir says:

    I won £15 today with betfair (LFC 2-0) :D

  393. dennisdamenace says:

  398. dennisdamenace says:

MG – I hope so, but we need Nasri AND Rosicky so that we don’t have to witness Eboue & Diaby as starters….

  399. Stu says:

    That looks nasty

  400. Metal Gear says:

DDM I doubt Rosicky is gonna last he is just far 2 injury prone but whats annoying is Merida is much much better then Diaby

  409. Paulinho says:

    Clichy is just awful.

  410. dennisdamenace says:

  411. Metal Gear says:

did any1 see that clichy cross lol

  412. AA23 says:

I dont remember you ever saying that Metal Gear.

  413. Jon Kabira says:

Was that supposed to be a cross?

  414. gambon says:

Its an offence to players like Cesc, RVP & AA to make them play with Clichy, Mannone & Eboue.

  415. gooby says:

clichy can’t cross, thats a fact

  416. Paulinho says:

  433. Rhyle says:

Get in! Been a nice game to watch so far…both teams having a go and a little blood ‘n’ guts in all of them.

It’s a shame that we have to hear Alan Smith, though. Such a shame to see a former favourite Arsenal turn into such a wanker.

  434. zeus says:

    RVP 1-0!!!!!!!!!

  435. Stu says:

    Close enough tho aa23.

  436. gooby says:

  438. Geoff says:

Rob Green, who’d have thought it.

  439. Paulinho says:

I know this like a broken record, but I can’t stress enough how shit Clichy is.

  440. dennisdamenace says:

    More comedy defending by Arsenal….

  441. wenger's boss says:

carton cole will score atleast one today

  442. dennisdamenace says:

And who the fuck was that to Song?

  443. reggie57 says:

Were panicking already its west ham ffs!

  444. dennisdamenace says:

More clown play by Song, well lost fella!!

  445. Metal Gear says:

    Song what are u doing

  446. Jon Kabira says:

lol that was Diaby-like from Song

  447. dennisdamenace says:

What a poor touch by RvP after being put in by AA23….

  448. gooner786 says:

    Any1 rate Behrani?

  449. dennisdamenace says:

That just about sums up Diaby – Brilliantly brought down and controlled, turned into trouble and played misplaced pass all in one movement….he really is a luxury we can’t afford….

  450. AA23 says:

    Diaby is so thick

  451. dennisdamenace says:

AA23′s vision is just so so good….

  452. Metal Gear says:

DDM very good summary on Diaby

  453. dennisdamenace says:

Crap cross number 4,817 from Clichy!!

  454. Rhyle says:

I was very impressed with Behrami’s performance against us last season at the Emirates. Useful utility man.

  455. Metal Gear says:

What the fuck is Eboue doing up there as a CF FFS

  456. gooby says:

    wow fabreagas’s ball was nice

  457. dennisdamenace says:

Actually that was good covering play by Diaby there….

  458. SUGA3 says:

we are way too fuckin’ casual – again…

  459. dennisdamenace says:

And, then he goes and does that!!

  460. gooby says:

this gale starting to look like the AZ match…depressing

  461. reggie57 says:

We are trying to play in 2nd gear again!!

  462. Samir says:

Is Sagna playin RM with Eboue RB???

  463. Rhyle says:

Carlton Cole is a busy little player isn’t he…lucky for us he hasn’t got the quality to back it up.

  464. gooby says:

this game starting to look like the AZ match…depressing

  465. paul says:

    any working links

  466. zeus says:

Wow………Diaby gives away a dangerous freekick in a dangerous position.

  467. Metal Gear says:

  468. dennisdamenace says:

    2-0

  469. Samir says:

    GALLAS

  470. Rhyle says:

    GALLAS!!

  471. AA23 says:

    Gallas!!!!

  472. Rhyle says:

So much for AZ part II…

  473. dennisdamenace says:

Great header from a corner William, he really wanted that….

The rest of our team could do with that spirit….

  474. gooby says:

    yeeeeaaaaahahhh

  475. gooner786 says:

  479. zeus says:

    Gallas

  480. Stu says:

Fuckin’ get in! 2-0 get a third before ht and bring on Nasri.

  481. gooby says:

    gallas seems injured

  482. dennisdamenace says:

Go on ref send them both off!!

Who’d be the bigger loss Diaby for us or Carlton Cole for them ha ha ha!!

  483. Samir says:

    Cole is playing Very well!

  484. dennisdamenace says:

    William is definitely struggling….

  485. AA23 says:

Is it just my stream or does Sagna look like he’s bulked up? He looks massive.

  486. dennisdamenace says:

    Thomas Thomas Thomas!

  487. Truth says:

Evening all: Fulham came back from 2-0 down to earn a draw at Eastlands. So far results are going our way, lets hope we can keep a clean sheet.

  488. Samir says:

    Ha Ha Vermy….

  489. Keyser says:

Heh, attacking centre-backs love them, races 70 yards forward to get in the cross, jogs back 70 yards win the header on a West ham attack.

  490. Geoff says:

    Get another goal boys.

  491. dennisdamenace says:

    Excellent news Truth….

  492. dennisdamenace says:

    Eeee-Oooop Geoff

  493. dennisdamenace says:

The away fans are in fine voice again….

  494. dennisdamenace says:

    Trois!

  495. gooby says:

diaby never humps and try to win headers, i wonder if he is scared haha

  496. Rhyle says:

FIVE FOOT FOUR…FIVE FOOT FOUR…WE’VE GOT ARSHAVIN…FUCK ADEBAYOR!

  497. dennisdamenace says:

Nice play by Song (!) and Fab4 there…

  498. Geoff says:

Yeah I saw it Dennis, he went backwards!

  499. dennisdamenace says:

Solid half if a little lack lustre at times….

  500. zeus says:

Excellent weekend again if you hold this result. All above us dropping points and were gaining on them.

  501. AA23 says:

2 nil at half time, fine by me. we arent playing badly, not great but winning comfortably, isnt that what everyone said we needed to do?

  502. Bostonian says:

    did the togo twat score?

  503. kingsley says:

that collison is a good player, never panics on the ball. we could rob him from them in jan.

  504. nishanth says:

Not really troubled by west ham.Diaby has been okay by his standards. Finally learning to keep things simple.Clichy is just awful

  505. Paulinho says:

Still feel nervous. We need the third.

  506. georgian1gunner says:

    eboue my idooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool ! ;) )

  507. nishanth says:

  509. gnarleygeorge9 says:

A 3rd would be great, you just no these jammy pricks will score to put the nerves on edge. Need a 3rd. Get a 3rd.

  510. nishanth says:

No real flow in our game.I don’t care as long as we win

  511. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Sagna looks ok. Song is solid.

  512. Stu says:

What i have liked about the first half is that without the ball the players have been quick to pressure the oppo and force an error.

  513. gnarleygeorge9 says:

I see man city only drew again. Sparky will be on shakey ground

  514. gunnergetyou says:

shitty held at home against fulham, could this weekend get any better?

  515. gnarleygeorge9 says:

  519. nishanth says:

  520. Jon Kabira says:

lol greedy twat,he claimed that was his goal, typical cunt

  521. nishanth says:

    Mascherano will miss the game

  522. kelsey says:

reading the comments so many of us think we will concede against this poor side.i feel the same, yet i don’t know why.at 1-0 i wanted a second and after the second i still feel uncomfortable.

    anyone got the answer.

  523. gunnergetyou says:

    hope torres is rested too

  524. SUGA3 says:

    http://tvoo.net/

will be in English during the game…

  525. Stu says:

Did masch and Vidic get straight reds or 2 yellows?

  526. YON says:

ALEX SONG… the best player on the pitch. He is the most technically gifted defensive mid in world football. His confidence on the ball is awe inspiring. I bloody love him.

  527. dennisdamenace says:

Second half, c’mon you gunners let’s bury this rubbish…

  528. dennisdamenace says:

Torres played with a pain killing injection, i would be amazed if he plays in midweek….

  529. AA23 says:

Any streamers should check out flfooty. 18 notes for a season pass and the streams are pucker. I moved to canada in the summer and I’ve been watching all the games with no troubles at all. They show every prem game.

    http://www.freelivefooty.com/schedule/

  530. alex says:

2 Yellows. Hopefully we’ll give a run out to NAsri, Eddie and BEndy :) when were 3 up

  531. dennisdamenace says:

Alex Song is doing no ore that a good job against very average opposition, i shake my head in disbelief….

  532. gambon says:

    WTF happeing to the stream?

  533. gambon says:

Yon, what the fuck are you talking about.

  534. dennisdamenace says:

    C’mon Goons we’re sitting back again….

  535. dennisdamenace says:

    Fuck me Sagna!

  536. dennisdamenace says:

Why would we be after that numpty from Bordeaux when we should be trying to buy players of the calibre of Carlton Cole, he has been very impressive gain today…

  537. dennisdamenace says:

    Trois………again!

  538. gambon says:

Was just thinking that DDM, would be a great squad option.

  539. dennisdamenace says:

    Oh my life AA23….

  540. Geoff says:

Alex Song has given the ball away more than he hasn’t today, he frightens me.

  541. Samir says:

Song needs a yellow card, then he gets banned for the carling cup game!

  542. zeus says:

    Stream died. score?

  543. Geoff says:

    Suit me sir!

  544. Samir says:

  545. dennisdamenace says:

Geoff, what do you think of Carlton Cole?

  546. dennisdamenace says:

C’mon keeper shout for the fucking ball…

  547. Rhyle says:

DDM – Cole’s a grafter and decent but not the finished article by any means. He’s been busy but has had a sniff of a goal? Lacks the craft to match his graft. There’s better out there but from the little I’ve seen of Chamakh…not him…

  548. gambon says:

Eboues a disgrace to this team.

  549. dennisdamenace says:

He’s been busy but has had a sniff of a goal?

True, but hardly his fault his team mates are garbage, and quite frankly Cole is technically head n shoulders above half the players playing in white at the moment.

  550. dennisdamenace says:

And, imho a much better player/prospect than Bentner….

  551. dennisdamenace says:

Sit down Clarke you Chav cunt!

  552. dennisdamenace says:

Ha Ha ha, Billy Smart’s fucking circus!!

  553. dennisdamenace says:

    Trois et Trois….

  554. dennisdamenace says:

Fuck off Eboue you fucking idiot….

  555. Geoff says:

I think Cole looks good in this team, he’s a better bet than Hesky, but I wouldn’t have him, a bit too Kevin Campbell’ish for me.

  556. Metal Gear says:

we need a 3rd this is why we need 2 sign Huntalaar, Frey and a DM in January

  557. Rhyle says:

True enough about his teammates but going to have disagree about him better technically than a lot of our players – and I don’t feel he’s better than ANY of our strikers when they’re all fit – comparing an average player to some bad ones doesn’t really make a point, particularly when they don’t play in the same position.

  558. YON says:

Someone get Arshavin and Eboue off the pitch. Bring on Bendtner and Eduardo.

  559. Paulinho says:

What is wrong with Diaby and Eboue?

They’re simply incapable of concentrating for more than a few seconds.

  560. dennisdamenace says:

You know Arshavin looks totally disinterested at times, i personally believe he is fucking wasted wide and should be more involved by being moved centrally….

  561. alex says:

crap from eboue, just snatched at it. why didnt he crosS??

    wtf Hines! so late!

  562. Maciek says:

Metal Gear. We also need a new cd, since Senderos and Silvestre are crap, and Johan is always injured.

  563. Rhyle says:

I don’t think we need to sign a new striker but if I could pick one, anyone….Fabiano.

  564. Stu says:

Huntelaar is shite now. Hasnt even scored for AC yet.

  565. Paulinho says:

And I bet Arshavin gets taken off.

  566. Geoff says:

    At last, a shot!

  567. Rhyle says:

I don’t think Arshavin quite believes he plays with shit like Eboue and Diaby honestly…the look he gives them when one of their passes to him goes fucking nowhere…

  568. Paulinho says:

We literally cannot play against a team that plays possum.

  569. dennisdamenace says:

Paulinho – That’s because they are both clueless simpletons….

  570. Jon Kabira says:

    wtf was that for?

  571. dennisdamenace says:

    There you go…..

  572. Paulinho says:

    How fucking predictable.

  573. Rhyle says:

Typical. I blame you for that DDM ;-)

  574. dennisdamenace says:

    Poor keeping….

  575. Geoff says:

That was Eboue’s fault for not making a tackle, and he wonders why he gets booed.

  576. alex says:

    WTF!!! Mannone!! damnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!

  577. Stu says:

Are you fucking serious! Fucking shit defending and goalkeeping! BALLS!

  578. gambon says:

When the fuck are we gonna learn to keep clean sheets??!!!!

    Its fucking pathetic

  579. SUGA3 says:

fuck me, how shit is Mannone?

  580. AA23 says:

    Diaby caused that. Useless cunt.

  581. gooby says:

    stupid manone

  582. Metal Gear says:

Great Diaby and the goalkeeper any1 agrees that Diaby must be dropped and a new world class keeper (frey) is brought in Wenger why do u have 2 inexperienced GK as cover 4 an above average 1

  583. dennisdamenace says:

How many fucking goals have we let in so far this season?

  584. Stu says:

If we fucking draw its all….eboue, Diaby and mannones fault.

  585. dennisdamenace says:

Fucking hell Diaby he wasn’t even running in that direction….

  586. alex says:

    we’re sooooooooo luckyy!!!

  587. Metal Gear says:

Gallas u hothead cant u keep you’re cool

  588. Paulinho says:

We’re definately the thickest top four team by a long way.

  589. Stu says:

FUCK! More shit defending! What the fuck! Calm the fuck down.

  590. dennisdamenace says:

RvP has totally disappeared in this half….

  591. Metal Gear says:

How many goals do we concede

  592. wenger's boss says:

    anyone for 2-2

  593. dennisdamenace says:

Well done Song you gormless cunt.

  594. Jon Kabira says:

    FUICKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  595. wenger's boss says:

i just said 2-2,and here it is

  596. Rhyle says:

    YOU ABSOLUTE CUNT REFEREE.

  597. Paulinho says:

    Ha Ha.

    Fucking clowns.

  598. AA23 says:

    unreal. absolutely unreal

  599. Stu says:

    FUCK RIGHT OFF!

  600. reggie57 says:

    i cant believe us!!

  601. raynor says:

    that werent no penalty

  602. dennisdamenace says:

    Wankers!

  603. SUGA3 says:

    ‘our goalkeepers are good enough’

  604. gambon says:

Its not really that we conceed too many, we just conceed at least one goal every single game.

    FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  605. zeus says:

Fucking diaby gives away a freekick and mannone compounds his mistake with another. Nervy finish again.

  606. Stu says:

    I fucking hate this bullshit!

  607. Rhyle says:

    cunt.

  608. Metal Gear says:

We give away a 2 goal lead suprise suprise

  609. gooby says:

    fuck

  610. AA23 says:

only Arsenal can make this bunch of cunts look like a side. they can buy a point and we make them look like fucking Real Madrid.
    Absolute fucking bollocks.

  611. Jon Kabira says:

    SHITE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  612. Rhyle says:

Metal Gear – ‘surprise surprise’? When was the last time we threw away a 2 goal lead?

  613. alex says:

fukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk offffffffffffff!!! song but that was a fukinnn divee!

  614. gambon says:

Too many of our players have the mentality of an 8 year old, completely crumble under the slightest pressure.

    Truely ridiculous.

  615. AA23 says:

a 2 goal lead down the fucking drain. these cunts better earn thier money now and win this game.

  616. raynor says:

the usual suspects all being…well usual suspects today. Shit game from Song, Eboue, Diaby possibly worst still. Not one looks like a quality player today…

  617. Paulinho says:

That’s what happens you prick Wenger when you fill your team up with dopey cunts.

  618. dennisdamenace says:

What are your excuses gonna be today Arsene??

  619. reggie57 says:

i tell you if some twat comes on here and says we dont need a keeper i will personaly find where they live and fucking kill em!

  620. raynor says:

like to think we will win, but more likely we go to shit and completely collapse

  621. gambon says:

    “Give me one more season”

“This year we will win something”

    Wenger you fucking cunt.

  622. Jon Kabira says:

    wtf no eduardo then?

  623. Stu says:

And we didnt make any fucking subs. No suprise we throw leads away when we have so many idiots playing the whole match.

  624. gooby says:

make some fucking changes bring on nasri!!!
every time man untd loses we fuck up

  625. Jon Kabira says:

we made it stu, bendtner for eboue

  626. Metal Gear says:

Yes even when we win the cracks were there thats why this is no suprise Wenger is 2 blame if we drop points it’s he who plays Eboue in our attack it’s he who persist with Diaby and it’s he who signed no Keeper

  627. gambon says:

    Nik to score the winner!

  628. SUGA3 says:

there you go – fuckin’ OLEs in the 60th minute…

  629. AA23 says:

I seriousla cant belive that we let these cunts back from 2 nil down. I bet B.B.K is wanking himself off right now.

  630. zeus says:

    FUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

  631. Metal Gear says:

    Wheres the sub Wenger

  632. Rhyle says:

    bye bye Parker you dog.

  633. Truth says:

    Scott Parker sent off?

  634. Paulinho says:

All started when that mug Eboue shot instead of crossing.

  635. Rhyle says:

I’ve got to say I’m shocked about our performance in the final third. Movement, passing, crossing, shooting…all shite.

  636. Stu says:

And now my stream is gone and i cant see anything.

  637. AA23 says:

good. get off you dirty cunt.

  638. paul says:

    Stream down Link???

  639. reggie57 says:

    c,monnnnnnnnnnn

  640. raynor says:

Song cannot do anything even remotely attacking when he tries to go forward….hes such a dipshit

  641. Geoff says:

It down to Wenger if you ask me, if he thinks Eboue was worth staying on for 82 minutes, he must be fucking blind, deaf and stupid.

  642. AA23 says:

I cant fucking stand this. making this bunch of shit look like a team. sickening. properly sickening.

  643. gambon says:

We have got to be the most fragile team i have ever seen in my life.

  644. dennisdamenace says:

Another day when our fucking mug players think they’ve done enough, fucking seriously unprofessional, and not for the first time this season…..

  645. alex says:

bring on eduardooooooo!! fukin hell wenger

  646. Metal Gear says:

Na we’ve got great keepers we’re ok in that department all we need is a DM and a CB and possibly a stiker this is why we dont win tropies Wenger is a cunt

  647. dennisdamenace says:

Eddie to come on with three minutes to go, what’s the fucking point Wenger you mug!!

  648. Stu says:

Where are the fucking ole’s now.

  649. Jon Kabira says:

    FINALLY!

  650. dennisdamenace says:

That fucking cunt of a number 2 should’ve come off an hour ago….

  651. gambon says:

Wonder if Wenger is flicking through his excuse book. Its a big big book these days.

  652. Geoff says:

2 minutes to go and finally he brings on a player. Muppet.

  653. Stu says:

Oh thats nice, Eduardo gets a whole 3 minutes and Bendtner gets a good…what was it…8?

  654. Hitman says:

Song, Eboue, Mannoe, Almunia, Diaby, Clichy, Sagna are all liabilities. They are not Premier league top quality. We wont win anything with all these weak links.
Wenger has got to take blame for not buying quality players in these positions.

We all knew this all coming. This team has no winning mentality. Nor I am afraid has the manager or the board.

All those idiots who has midweek’s lapse against AZ didnt matter – it always matters. Conceding late goals against inferior opposition is a systom of serious problems.

  655. Stu says:

Who’d have thought it. Hines, a fucking teen, has been the player to ruin our hopes of winning.

  656. Metal Gear says:

How long 4 that sub Wenger

  657. Jon Kabira says:

    WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  658. gooby says:

oh no eduardo should have scored

  659. dennisdamenace says:

    Point blank miss!

  660. Stu says:

What the fuck happened there. Why didnt that go in!

  661. Geoff says:

Wengers stupid selection again, just like last season all over again.

  662. reggie57 says:

I can see why no-one takes seriously now

  663. gooner786 says:

Why do we never capitalise on a UTD loss?

  664. Stu says:

Oh but we were the better team and dominated them for most of the match.

It all counts for fuck all tho.

  665. reggie57 says:

    us

  666. gooby says:

bendy is playing DM he has to go forward

  667. gambon says:

    Gooner

Cos were a team of fragile fucking pampered kids.

    theyve got no heart.

  668. Metal Gear says:

    Same old same old

  669. Jon Kabira says:

Got the chance to close the gap but we blew it…..typical!

  670. Bobby 7 says:

    Gollygosh!

  671. dennisdamenace says:

This is a direct result of Wenger sticking with these perennial fucking losers time and time again….

He sits on the bench and is happy to watch us walk around in second gear when weak opposition is there for the taking, the slack, lazy attitude is the responsibility of the team’s manager….

  672. AA23 says:

    Cant hold onto a lead.
    We have no heart.

  673. Rhyle says:

That was shit. I’m off to punch some walls.

  674. GunnerShabz says:

    fucking pathetic….

  675. reggie57 says:

    what a bunch of cunts!!

  676. AA23 says:

Absolutely fucking pathetic. Shame on the lot of them.

  677. Stu says:

Fucking idiot Wenger with his shite selection…..we should ave expected it after the EXACT same team did likewise against AZ.

  678. wenger's boss says:

    what the fucking fuckkkkkk

  679. GunnerShabz says:

i think we should blame the leadership

    why we doing this

  680. luke says:

FUCKING PATHETIC! FUCKING WENGER PUTTING ON EDUARDO IN THE 88TH!! WHAT THE FUCK DID HE EXPECT! WE CANNOT START DIABY AND EBOUE AND EXPECT TO WIN!!

  681. AA23 says:

    Title winners?
    fuck off.

  682. luke says:

Arshavin did not lead by example either. Poor game

  683. Keyser says:

Sky gimps in full voice, footballs a pantomime now, Crhis Foy is fucking pathetic. Got fucking bored and decided he needed to spice the game up a bit.

  684. nishanth says:

Fucking joke.I can’t believe this happened.I won’t even blame the players.Absolutely shocking from wenger. When they scored the first goal wenger should have realised that when we are negative we suck

  685. gooby says:

i can’t stand eboue he has to go to the coca-cola champ or smth. diaby is the usual stupid losing ball. clichy is shit again.

  686. reggie57 says:

the whammers had 3 shots on target =2 cunting goals

    same old arsenal!!

  687. Samir says:

Shit tactics by Wenger once again….
    Got no fucking brains…
Why the fuck start Eboue and fucking DIABY!!!

  688. AA23 says:

we cant beat the teasm second from bottom with a two goal lead?
    fucking bunch of cowards.

  689. gunnergetyou says:

wenger is to blame for that result, manonne should be dropped, referee is a cunt

  690. Samir says:

We will win Fuck all….. as usual

  691. dennisdamenace says:

I don’t believe what i’ve just watched (again) these players are intelligent enough to see out a game. The same fucking players fucking up time and time and time again……

Let’s be serious here WHU are utter shite, are relegation fodder and were there for the taking, but all we did was walk the ball around thinking the job was done, fucking unprofessional…..

As long as Wenger has a hole in his arse and he keeps picking Diaby and Eboue he will win nothing with this team…..

  692. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Eboue & Diaby should have been off before kick off. Both off nothing in their positions, yet Le Gaffer continues to play them ;)

  693. gooby says:

    —————-almunia—————–
    –sagna—-gallas——–vermy—–gibbs
    ——nasri—–song——–fabreagas—
    —–ashavin—–RvP——–rosiscky/edardo

let the mugs like eboue, diaby out of the team

  694. nishanth says:

It wasn’t a penalty. But that is not the issue. Why does wenger have to be such a cunt.Did anyone see diaby just strolling away when eduardo was about to come on

  695. simon mcmahon says:

well fucking done you fucking cunts !!
2-0 up and we blow it sorry thats not what champions do !!!!!!!!!!
eboue playing wide for fucks sake cant wenger see it fucking never going to be good enough …
and wengers masterstroke using the subs what a fucking joke ,
sorry three shit keepers, and players who dont fancy putting in a shift = another trophyless season .

    MUGS…

  696. gambon says:

    Fucking pathetic.

    Threw away 2 points today
    Threw away 2 points mid-week
Threw away 3 points at Old Trafford
Threw away 2 points at Anfield last year
Threw away 2 points at Villa Park last year
Threw away 3 points vs Spurs last year
Threw away the CL semi at Anfield
Threw away 3 points at Old Trafford 07/08
Threw away 3 points at Stamford Bridge 07/08

Anyone starting to notice a pattern??

  697. Samir says:

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  698. Yes it wasnt a foul for the 1st goal but Mannone has to concentrate better than that. He gave them the boost they were looking for, now all teams will feel if we outplay them they can still get something. Furious

  699. luke says:

Fucking Wenger. Diaby does not come through when we need him. Eboue is a RB not a midfielder, not a winger. Typical late and useless subs by Wenger. Fucking pathetic

  700. gooner786 says:

Everytime we get a chance to close the gap down on scum and chavs we always screw up.

  701. Paul88 says:

We never win playing eboue and diaby in the same midfield. If we have injuries to rosicky, nasri etc it’s time he went with the young players. It doesn’t help when the goalie gifts the opposition a goal every game tho.

  702. LAzer says:

All I have to say is we deserve that shit for a horrid performance. Shit subs by Wenger, Eboue was an absolute waste in midfield again and we fucking deserve that shit. Nice job Wenger you fuckin prick!!

  703. raynor says:

we’ll prolly hear how it wasnt a penalty (which is wasn’t) though Parker should of clearly had one anyway! I think the fact we simply CANNOT hold a lead, and keep a clean sheet (and its always goal-keeping or defending ‘errors’). You only make errors, the same kinds over and over due to a lack of confidence. Maybe the team know they cannot defend well. whatever. We won’t win a thing this year. Anyone who thinks we can is just being hopeful and wearing song and Diaby tinted spectacles. Those two were fucking shit SHIT SHIT double shit today. How we gonna win anything with these two names a mainstay in our team. Fucking unbelievable really.

  704. zeus says:

Honestly, this is a knee jerk reaction but this team CAN FUCK RIGHT OFF. So now we have to be leading 6-0 b4 its safe. 2-0 cruising should be enough for a club the stature as ours. Middle finger to this team display.

  705. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Mannone is shot ;) 3 players must be dropped for the spuds game.

  706. Bostonian says:

    hahaha

same old wank shit posts coming up now…

the biggest culprit today was Arshavin

he slowed up a lot of moves and his movement was very bad… bad russian salad???

i think his head might have been turned a bit….just a lil bit…

  707. Arindam@KOL says:

    We were ROBBED. Period.

I cannot blame any of the players or the gaffer for this result.

The ref was a real CUNT.

  708. wenger's boss says:

i just cant understand what he wants to prove by playing eboue as a forward, does he want to prove that eboue is very versatile(which eboue has proved that he is not) or he is keeping some promise he made with eboue for keeping him at club in summer.

  709. Paulinho says:

Knew it half time and actually predicted 2-2 earlier on here today.

God I wish Wenger would fuck off. I’m so sick of watching thick players.

  710. kirby says:

gotta put games to bed, thier subs come on and help change the game and ours get a full 10 minutes between them.

    fuckin threw away a win.

  711. nishanth says:

Even after they equalised we were playing as if we were 3 goals ahead.Their player got sent off.And yet we could only create 1 meaningful chance in 10 fucking minutes.CUNTS

  712. leon says:

i dont think it had anything to with team selection in this case we did have 2 goal lead with edwardo on bench, they fell a sleep for second time in a week i thought they would have leraned there lesson its about killing the game off they did not do that most of the time if this manu or chelsea it be done deal

  713. gunnergetyou says:

wenger should have made changes at 2 nil, he could see the complacency creeping back in, and refused to change things until it was too fucking late, this is exactly why we wont win the league.

  714. gambon says:

There is not another team in the top 10 that couldve blown that in the last 30.

So what happens when we finish 3rd/4th

“I feel we are very close, one more season”

  715. Zorr0 says:

    Cunts cunts cunts!
    Diaby cunt. Mannone cunt.
2nd from bottom and worst west ham team I have seen in years. 2-0 up, 30 mins to go and they look like they are going through the motions. Mannone you cunt, push it round the post for fucks sake!
Song does not need to even be that tight to Cole, even if it was a soft decision.

There are times when this team makes me absolutely fucking pig sick and want to feel like twatting someone. Today is another of those days!

And in case I forgot to say it; Cunts!

    AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAaArrrrrrrrrgggggggghhhhhhhhhhh!

  716. reggie57 says:

Manone is too blame from the free kick should have pushed it away from the danger area not palm in back to cole for a simple header hes fuckin shit!!!

  717. Bostonian says:

    raynor

midfield of cesc diaby and song allowed only 6 penetrations into final 20 yards and defence let in only 3 shots…was that too bad?

fuck the forwards who should have scored more…

  718. dennisdamenace says:

How many more performances like that will we witness before all the Wenger/Diaby/Eboue/Song apologists wake up and smell the fucking coffee!!

No wonder Arshavin looks thoroughly disinterested at times, he must look around him and think what a crock of shit half this team is, players like Vermin, Gallas, Fab4, Rosicky, RvP, AA23 carrying dogshit like the above!

  719. Jon Kabira says:

Yeah but maybe they can learn from this match not to switch off again.NOT A CHANCE!!!!!!!

  720. Paul88 says:

We’re far to brittle, can’t handle any sort of pressure. Even from a shit team like them. It never changes, season in season out.

  721. Metal Gear says:

Where is the leader at the back we’ve got no organizer Diaby, Eboue ahead of Merida, Wilshere, Ramsey and Vela go figure wenger does not want 2 kill the kids yes the kids are his lovechildren. This clown brings on Eduardo with how many minutes left? Why not bring him on at 2-0 so he could help kill the game off of course if it were chelsea or Man U 2-0 up against a top team let alone a team languishing in bottom 3 the game would have be over everything Wenger does we eventually pay the price 4 that game should have been 3 points in the bag up with us.

Wenger is the ultimate spin-master a deluded individual who jeporadises the teams chances by playing below average players and out of poisiton may I add this game has really done me in a 2-0 lead vanished incredible but then again this is Arsenal where we win and deluded fans hate it when people like me point out the flaws that could come back 2 haunt us and suprise suprise thats just happened.

  722. Arindam@KOL says:

    Mannone needs to go ,though.
And AW please dont play Eboue upfront again. Please. Its an insult to us fans. And to Nik B.

  723. luke says:

this is just so perfect as midweek all the arsenal players told us “we cant switch off again”

  724. zeus says:

So now Mannone gets dropped surely…………wtf was that bit of keeping. And Diaby gets nowhere near this team. Againits his fault for giving away the freekick on the edge of the motha fukin area. Geese

  725. Samir says:

    We will lose V spurs……
Wenger’s shit tactics will lose it.
Spen some money you prick and sell the shit at Arsenal OR let them go on a free……
FFS how the fuck is Wenger sooo shit with tactics?

  726. nishanth says:

Arshavin was horrible. So was eboue. Why not just take one of them off.We made carlton cole look like twice the player drogba is

  727. stonroy says:

these are just boys who haven’t struggled enough and don’t know what winning week in-week out means. They have all this money and their goals have been obtained. No desire out there today, they look bored and expected the win.

  728. Emperor Gooner says:

fuck mannone , fuck diaby , fuck eboue….i’ve said this time and time again…these players are just not good enough for us..how fukn bad was diaby??????..cant believe this………….perdro will you still defend diaby??????

  729. gnarleygeorge9 says:

AA23 can’t do anything much when that idiot eboue is demanding the ball, getting it, then doing nothing of substance with it. They played through eboue today, I don’t know why, maybe it was Wengers intentsions. It failed, & 2 points were thrown away.

  730. Paul88 says:

I said at half time, we’re gonna draw this game. We weren’t playing particularly well and I knew we’d concede sooner or later.

  731. SUGA3 says:

    Arindam, it’s a lot of bull…

fuck the ref – we should have scored a few more, not wank around with the ball in the second half…

  732. goonermichael says:

2-2 flattered us. they were all shit and the manager

  733. dennisdamenace says:

That result was coming from about 60 minutes onwards, regardless of it being a penalty or not, AW & Co. sit on the bench and let the players stroll around like the points are in the bag, no leadership on the pitch, no leadership from the bench, everyone going through the motions….

  734. gunnergetyou says:

the spurs game is now like a cup final for both teams.

  735. GunnerShabz says:

we need to get rid of the shit keepers we have

    mannone shit
    aluminia shit
    fabianksi shit

song needed to be more composed

  736. Maciek says:

Guys, relax. We all know that we don’t have any chance to win a trophy. Funny how everyone is talking about our great defence, but we have concided so many goals. And typical for Wenger we have dropped 2 points. Same old shit once again. But hey, we have our golden generation. Well, aside from the fact, we haven’t won a trophy since 2005, maybe they are golden. LOL. Another Wenger f***k up. Changes are needed. Frey, Bruno Alves, a Esien type cdm, and a winger. I’m soooooooooooo pis***ed of it’s just hard to take.

  737. luke says:

    Fucking pathetic

  738. Arindam@KOL says:

Geoff, dont you dare make another prediction again. EVER. I mean EVER.

  739. dennisdamenace says:

I’ve just watched the replay on the penalty, and it was a penalty, that div Song kicked him in the back of the ankle, soft, but fucking stupid, fucking retard play form someone who isn’t intelligent enough to be replied upon….

  740. Samir says:

Don’t anyone dare blame the ref…
I didn’t see him shake his magic wond and change the score…
Our shit players gave them it….
    Sack Mannone,Diaby and Eboue forlife!

  741. gnarleygeorge9 says:

Eboue must be Le Gaffers favourite player, he must be to continue to get starts like he does. He is an absolute luxury, & he cost The Club heaps today, 2 points. Diaby now thinks he is Viera in waiting, but looks more like an accident waiting to happen. Oh shit it did happen, today.

  742. gambon says:

So Arsene says the other day “dont worry we will conceed less goals”

Well arsene you cunt we have conceeded 13 goals in 9 games.

At this rate we will conceed 54 goals this season.

When will he man up and admit he doesnt know what he’s doing and bring a defence coach in. He is a fucking cunt, and his god complex wont let him see that he has weaknesses.

  743. gunnergetyou says:

fuckin wenger says we had a good game and were unlucky, fuckin bullshit

  744. Jon Kabira says:

“Yeah bbk, we should’ve won, though in the grander scheme of things it makes precious little difference. Could even be a good thing if it stops complacency costing us points in the prem”

    sadly nothing learned

  745. Keyser says:

I’ll blame who I want, when I want, the refs a fucking cunt, he got fucking bored and changed the game, fuck him we’ll just have to win despite of him, rather than lose because of him.

  746. goonermichael says:

why do people blame the same players all the time? they all played like cunts

  747. Maciek says:

Hello SUGA3! Are You also PISsed off? Frajerstwo!

  748. patthegooner says:

2-nil and we fucked it up

Well Mannone did, WTF was that save all about, I think that is the fuck up that confirms his days at Arsenal are numbered. He has done ok in the last few weeks, but his insistence to do the “hollywood” save when he could have tipped that around the post or actually caught it has cost us the points

I wont blame Song for the Penalty as I don’t think it was, but when they did not get the dubious one a couple of mins before, they were always going to get that.

What I will say is that is the reason we will not win the PL this season. It is not the end result, every team draws games, but it is the manner of the draw. We were comfortable at 2-0 and have some how dropped 2 points. Chavski and Man Ure drop points but rarely in that manner and that is what we have to stamp out.

As for the game, i can’t pick out an Arsenal player for praise. Once again we played well within ourselves and acted too complacent at 2-0 up instead of going for the kill and it cost us.

I just hope now that with Nasri, Eduardo, Bendtner and hopefully Rosicky back fit, we see and end to playing Diaby and Eboue. I have no problems with Eboue at RB and at times he does ok at RM, but when you throw Diaby into the mix as well, we struggle to impress ourseleves on the game.

It is not the end of the world, we have moved up to 3rd, but you simply can’t drop points in that fashion and expect to come away with silverware.

I just hope that is a wake up call to Wenger. It is a poor poor result, and he had the chance to influence it from the bench and didn’t. He also has the chance to see first hand….AGAIN that certain individuals are not good enough and need to be moved on.

I think it definately highlights that our Keeper situation is simply not good enough. Mannone kept his place, but that said to me that he is unsure of Almunia and if he is, it is time to spend big on a fucking World Class Keeper in Jan.

I want to end on a high note. I thought Vermaelen was excellent. He was everywhere.

  749. alex says:

I can see us fukin letting spurs back in the game just like last year if we don’t fukin sort it out. wenger play our best team available!! and then we will slaughter them

  750. stonroy says:

Yeah Geoff no more predictions ever. It doesn’t work for you mate, it’s just not to be done…

  751. AA23 says:

we have no bollocks, even a shit side like that can push us around. we will never win a fucking thing with this bunch of women. lots of skill but no guts.

  752. gnarleygeorge9 says:

No Keyser Zola changed the game, Le Gaffer sat back on his arse & did nothing.

  753. Ja_Gunner says:

Paulinho, I agree with you about Eboue….

Why the fuck does Wenger play him in a advanced role?

He created and opening and instead playing the ball into the penalty box ….he shot it into row Z for no reason…

If he did not trust Eddy or Bendter to play the whole game..then why not play a front 3 of Vela RVP and Arshy on the right?

Wenger is fucking thick….why not make a change at 2-1?

Why does he wait until the opponents equalise to make changes?

Cant he see that though Eboue has absolutely no end product?

He has Vela rotting….I am sure he can play 2 games in a row…he could have played today and also on Tuesday…..

  754. reggie57 says:

when zola put that kid hines on is when the game turned imo

  755. gooner786 says:

We need to buy Akinfeev ASAP before Utd get him.

  756. nn says:

wats monone. diaby sagna and song doing in an arsenal shirt. they are not fucking good enough wenger. get it into ur thick brain. at 2-0 i knew this bunch of bigheads would start showboating. they done it on wed ,they,ve done it so many times before. this team will win fuck all.

  757. ThaatArsenalGuy says:

fucking gutting to see them come back from two down, the champions league match wasn’t enough of a kick up the ass.

  758. Arindam@KOL says:

Even though the REF was the deciding factor in the game, we shouldnt really have let them back in the game.

The changes should have happened at 2-1.

Eboue had no clue what his role was in the team.
Diaby is a below average CM. He is average in the hole.

PS : The last 2 matches showed how important Rosicky is to the team. We lose our bite without him.

  759. Keyser says:

Heh Zola tried, Foy gave a free-kick against us when it should have been for us.

We were poor, we’ve seemed tired, but I’m guessing Wenger doesn’t want to rush players back, we should’ve won especially with Van Persie’s chance at the end, we’ve got a rest mid-week depending on who plays and hopefully Nasri comes through it fine along with Rosicky.

  760. ThaatArsenalGuy says:

PS. Need 2 tickets for the Liverpool match on wed if anybody is offering

  761. Arindam@KOL says:

786 , AW sure as hell aint paying 10-15 mil for a keeper. He will end up with the Chavs / Ures.

  762. ardentgooner says:

after the midweek game we had sagna clichy and fabregas talking about how they learned from the AZ game…. FUCK SHIT…. Giving a 2 goal lead is not champion material……. ffs why wasnt a sub introduced to make things better after 60 mins…we were awful in the 2nd half….

  763. Maciek says:

That’s why we won’t win any more trophies with Wenger in charge.

  764. Paul88 says:

“i do not want to kill a career”. Well your killing vela’s career by continuing to play those to hopeless individuals. If he can’t get in the team with rosicky and nasri out, then when can he?

  765. gnarleygeorge9 says:

An opportunity to really stake a claim for top spot, has gone begging. Eboue & Diaby togther in the starting line up will not be a winning formula, today has confirmed that.

Anyway I’m off for some kip, you can all fight/analyse this amongst yourselves. What a piss off

  766. stonroy says:

You know, I want to blame the players for being so fucking lazy, but I have to blame Wenger. He is too gentle with them, he needs to really kick them up the ass a bit.

  767. Ja_Gunner says:

Wenger really messed up my Sunday….I was going to teach a math class today but now I dont feel like it…

Even though we were 2-0 up we were never in complete control of the game….Fabregas was anonymous……

We never ever looked comfortable because Carlton Cole was single handedly creating problems….

Why didnt Arsene freshen things up with a change…he could have brought Eddy on and switched Arshavin over….or he could have brought on Bendy earlier..

Bendy and Eddy must have been annoyed being brought on only after it became 2-2….

They could have come on with a lead..instead they came on trying to hold on to a point,…

  768. nishanth says:

When he wants to bring eboue or diaby on i bet he will make an early substiution. He is just clueless.Apparently eboue and diaby give us defensive stability

  769. Maciek says:

Arindam. The problem is, we don’t know how serious Rosicky’s injury is.

  770. zeus says:

lucky that this game didn’t come b4 the arsenal shareholders meeting. Wenger could never say shit like goalkeepers are great..

  771. AA23 says:

Put as much of a positive spin on this as you like but to be 2 nil up at half time and draw to the second from bottom team is a disgrace.
Blame the ref as much as you like, we were fucking cowards to a man.
love to hear how Diaby still deserves a chance, their first was down to that thick cunt giving away a free kick on the edge of the box.
    he is 100% total shit.
anyone want to defend the cunt now?

  772. Emperor Gooner says:

i don’t think i’ll be able to muster courage to to anything this fukn weekend..so gutted!!i still cant believe it!!

  773. SUGA3 says:

Maciek, I am so pissed off it’s unbelievable…

    gowniarstwo…

  774. Please stop over-reaction to players [ala eboue & Diaby] that arent necessary, they did alright [not great]. We drew bcuz Mannone was the one who let them back in the game. Also Arsh was poor & i dont see many complaining, it was never a free-kick for the 1st goal

  775. Emperor Gooner says:

yah let’s see who defends diaby now

  776. gambon says:

    Stonroy, thats the problem

If this was Man Utd Ferguson would be going fucking ballistic.

Wenger is probably in the dressing room giving them all high 5′s and telling them they are [super super] class.

  777. Arindam@KOL says:

THis match will give a lot of assurance to our rivals that nothing has changed.

Cant even say that its down to inexperience , anymore.

  778. dennisdamenace says:

That’s fucking lame blaming the ref for dropping two points. It wasn’t the ref’s decisions that made our lazy players play like they’d already won the game with 30 minutes to go….

  779. Samir says:

Arsene should let some of us fans in the dressing room. Kick their fuking heads in!

  780. Emperor Gooner says:

    “they did alright” ????????????/

fuck yourself…they couldn’t have possibly played a poorer game

  781. nishanth says:

The worst thing was even after it became 2-2 wqe hardly showed any urgency

  782. patthegooner says:

You just know that Diaby will start the North London Derby next weekend…….

He was shit again…… but he is simply un-droppable

  783. zeus says:

Was it just me or did this game mirror the game v AZ not just in the equalizer but in the lackadaisical showing from ALL our players.

Plus whenever we win big there is an update imm. on Arse.com with Wenger’s thought….guess we wait until tomorrow for what he thinks on the official site.

  784. Pat says:

What a fucking embarrassment. We had an off day, but most of the blame has to go on mannone. That was an awful mistake and puts us under pressure.

I also disagree with the obstruction rule. WTF was Diaby supposed to do if he was already there? Politely move out of the fucking way?

  785. dennisdamenace says:

“i do not want to kill a career”.

Well you’re killing Arsenal Football Club’s chances of winning anything ffs!

  786. Ja_Gunner says:

The ref made bad calls but at the same time…..the team should have dealt with it..

The freekick from which they scored was never a foul..Zavon Hines ran into Diaby….there was no way Diaby could have got out of the way…poor decision from the ref….but what the fuck was Manone doing….how did he push it back to the centre of the goal?

Wenger is poor game day manager…after 70 mins with a 2-0 lead I was wondering why he never freshened things up..

And why did he cast Vela away and bring back Nasri?

Nasri is not match fit…Vela is match fit..

    I would have started…………Arshy…..RVP……Vela…

I am sure Vela could have played today and Tuesday….and if he was injured surely Eddy or Bendy could have taken over for the CC game……

Wenger is so thick…..doesnt he see that the only way the team is comfortable is when they lead by 3?

    FUCCKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  787. mayank says:

How to start a pathetic week

Watch Arsenal play and you will know!!!!!!!

  788. AA23 says:

Supergunner have you lost your fucking mind. Diaby has been terrible for us, he’s done 3 good things for Arsenal since he’s been here and one of those was sparking John Terry out. he costs us points and he cost us 2 today.
I never want to see him play for us again. give him away for free to any team that wants him or just fire the cunt outright.

  789. Samir says:

Fabregas should fuck off aswell TBH…
He wants Barca then you can fuck right off there.
    Does not preform consistently ever..
RVP will leave for a better club also….

  790. gunnergetyou says:

we were on a great run, but against pathetic teams, we were lucky to beat fulham, and now we have been exposed again, can see us winning too many away games if we continue like this

  791. Maciek says:

How many points behind chelsea we are, guys?

  792. nishanth says:

Ja_gunner-For vela to start wenger has to drop eboue. And you know that won’t happen

  793. patthegooner says:

I still think we are on a different level from last season though.

But it is the reluctance to go that extra mile that will cost us.

Diaby should not have played today

Nor should Eboue in that position.

And whilst I can’t criticise Wenger on picking Mannone on form, the punching instead of catching has been an accident waiting to happen…..It just happened, and it is the reason he will never make it at the top top level

  794. zeus says:

    @ nis
I was thinking the exact same thing. The pace of our passing and movement didn’t quicken after they equal. Its as if scoring so many goals already has zapped them into a false sense of security that they can score whenever they want.

  795. patthegooner says:

    Samir

Sorry that is out of order

Cesc has been a decent fella and always come out and rubbished Barca rumours everytime they come out. Those stories are all Barca baced and does not express the current wishes of Cesc.

We all know he will end up there one day, but at the moment he says he is giving it and I believe he is giving 110% to Arsenal.

  796. reggie57 says:

the match today highlights what is wrong with the team its called not having a winners mentality the chavs have it,the mancs have it,even the bindippers have it,we dont until he gets /buys expierenced players who will instil it into the team!!

  797. SUGA3 says:

PTG, Mannone just DOES this kind of shit – I have watched him quite a lot in the ressies and he is a fucking liability…

I know this, even my mum (who is a Gooner as well) knows it, why the fuck does Arsene not know this?

  798. nishanth says:

You know what the worst thing is?Wenger won’t learn from his mistakes.

  799. Pat says:

If we win out game in hand, I think we’re 2 pts. behind Chelsea.

We need a keeper, unless Fabianski improved over the summer. I noticed mannone can’t deal with powerful shots. I remember him almost palming one into his own net in preseason

  800. Geoff says:

Well if that doesn’t show you Song isn’t good enough, Diaby isn’t smart enough and Eboue will never be a midfield player then nothing will.

Wenger will continue to play them and we will win jack shit, you can’t blame the player, he doesn’t pick himself.

  801. Maciek says:

Samir. Fabregas can go if he wants. He have got Nasri and Rosicky who can both play there. Robin isn’t as great as almost everyone thinks he is. I would take Villa over him any day.

  802. Jaguar says:

I am not shocked by the result.this was always on the cards with shit like Diabolical playing.Where the fuck is Vela?Mr Wenger, you are the manager of AFC and you are supposed to win matches for us.Your primary intention is to win matches for Arsenal than try out your wild fantasies by playing w****** like Diabolical. This is not the character of champions.

MARK MY WORDS.WE WILL NEVER WIN ANYTHING WITH PLAYERS LIKE DIABY(EBOUE TO AN EXTENT) TOGETHER ON THE PITCH.

  803. leon says:

i realy dont care about the perforamce the point his they did not kill the game off,i have both manu and chelsea play alot worse and still comeout with result, its about who won not how well you played alot of time,as for manone i think you need get things to spectective he 21-22 very inexperienced he is not at all he is very good,i dont think there is much dought however that nasri and risicky would have greater impact but the fact still remains they 2-0 and they blew it away

  804. gooner786 says:

Guys relax, there is no point being stressed out and frustrated. Wenger and his EGO will never change. Why does he always make life hard for us poor souls, as if it wasnt harder already?

  805. gunnergetyou says:

    samir, your talking shit

  806. paul says:

Thought we played really well today a good point away from home.Diaby was a rock worked his socks off.Well played boys.

  807. lott says:

The one thing that was really worrying is the DESPERATE need for a better goalkeeper..!

But the whiny part of me still think that we should have had a penalty early on with upson’s clear handball. And their penalty, it wasn’t one.. That doesnt change the fact that we were still complacent and refusing to finish the game off when we were cruising at 2-0 up.. And eboue at the right, up top, you’ve got to be kidding arsene! 2 points drop when we shouldn’t have!!!

  808. AA23 says:

    What were wengers excuses?
    didnt see any interviews.

  809. Jon Kabira says:

paul was that a sarcasm? Surely it is!!

  810. Geoff says:

I’m sliding into depression, I watched the match with Pedro and he thought Song was okay.

Perhaps it’s me. I should watch the golf, it doesn’t matter if I think a player is shit, if he is good enough he’ll win, if he isn’t he won’t, can’t argue with that.

  811. gambon says:

Imagine being Arshavin right now, seeing these fucking cunts dropping points every week.

he is probably on the phone to Pep Guardiola as we speak.

  812. SUGA3 says:

I just heard the audio on ATVO, and Wenger said it was not down to complacency – are you fucking kidding me?

  813. the dude abides says:

Gambon 15:23 – predicted it spot on – Manone should have been dropped after last weeks howler.
Unfortunately he’ll do something like this ever game. Diaby is also a liability. However it wasn’t a good performance by the team as a whole. the coach should have seen the lack of dynamism in the 2nd half and switched to 4-4-2 by bringing Eduardo on earlier and taking of Diaby who contributes nothing to this team as far as I can see.

  814. Geoff says:

And Wenger can’t be questioned ever, fucking depressing, I’m off, have a good one all, that’s me done for a while.

  815. gambon says:

    Paul – fuck off.

  816. Ja_Gunner says:

I dont see why people are singling out Diaby….

That freekick was never a foul…..I can see why you guys single out SOng today because he should have just kept tight but he should have known that the player will go down with the slightest touch….thats fucking obviuos….

For today I blame Wenger and Monone/Eboue…..but I blame Wenger…..

when we play Eboue in the front 3 its like we are playing 4-3-2 because in the final third Eboue is horrible….

And I dont think he gives that much defensive cover because he roams all over the pitch…

  817. gunnergetyou says:

tbh diaby was not that bad today, manonne cost us 2 points, end of story, wenger is the mug for beleiving he is good enough, i would have dropped him after his mistake against brum

  818. Ali Saljuk says:

    this sucks !!

  819. Roy says:

I admit it, I was wrong. Mannone DID cost us victory today with some proper Sunday league keeping against that free kick.
    BUT.
I still wouldn’t start Almunia against spuds next week!
On another note, Diaby, how shit is he!
For a while I thought he was a hammer in disguise all them free kicks he was conceding and possession he was losing. Even HE has said he’s not the next pv so let’s sell him in Jan to a Chanpionship side, were he belongs.
    2-2, not happy!

  820. paul says:

Eboue had a good game today, very dangerous with the ball at his feet, unlucky not to get on the score sheet for us.

  821. patthegooner says:

I think that is it for Mannone now, Almunia will be back next weekend. arguably with him, we would have won that game today.

Unfortunately it is not the last we will see of Abou “Its like playing with 10 men” Diaby

Please Please Please Arsene, I would rather draw games like that because we gave valuable experience to the likes of Ramsey and Coqueling than watch that lanky streak of piss put in another 90 mins of shite. He is fucking woeful and brings nothing to the game.

  822. AA23 says:

I single out Diaby because he’s cost us 5 points so far this season. Not only does he not contribute he actually costs us.
    fuck him.

  823. patthegooner says:

    Roy

Almunia has to start next weekend.

  824. zeus says:

Which team does Vela leave to go to then? Cuz obviously Wenger does not want to give him a chance outside of the CC.If he can manage and excel under the pressure of millions of football crazy fans when he represents Mexico and play his part in helping them to WC qualification, I don’t think playing a couple of games against lower level teams in the fucking BPL is gonna expose him as out of his depth..

And Fab4 is playing well shit as well. If he can’t manage our 4-3-3 how the hell is he gonna handle Barcas. He seems unfit to me, like there’s nothing left in the tank.

  825. paul says:

    Gambon??

  826. gambon says:

The problem is who comes in for Mannone?? None of them are good enough.

Literally any other manager would buy a keeper in January, but you just know wenger loves sticking with his failures, cos they show him more loyalty and he can feel like the big man.

  827. nishanth says:

We keep talking about our attacking potential.About how many options we have going forward. It doesn’t matter because we are rarely going to see it

  828. luke says:

its like we were playing with 9 men. Diaby and Eboue…

  829. GunnerShabz says:

Carlos Vela situation is puzzling for me

he is a full international for mexico and am sure he can walk in too many teams with his ability

and wenger does not play him at all, we get used to seeing eboue in the attacking 3

what confidence does that show to players like wilshire, vela and ramsey

  830. Paulinho says:

Dennis – the AKB’s have to blame the ref.

It’s their last port of refuge in a desperate attempt to remain in denial and stick to their guns and previous declarations of Wenger love.

  831. patthegooner says:

    And do you know something

when the Man Shitty v Fulham final score came through, i said to the bloke I was watching the game with, “That is why I dont consider them to be genuine challengers”

Then we go and do the same thing.

I have been impressed with Arsenal this season, but today is more dissapointing that either of the results we got in Manchester.

  832. Samir says:

    So bloody depressing supporting Arsenal……

  833. gunnergetyou says:

how can we even see our game in hand as 3 points, we have to earn it first, these pussies will get raped against better teams, no question

  834. reggie57 says:

I know every ones pissed off quick joke

two oaps having oral sex.He says “I cant stay down there ,it stinks”
She says”Its my arthritis” “What in your fanny?”
“No in me arm; i cant wipe me arse”

  835. Maciek says:

Jaguar mate. I’ve said the same before. But I think it’s all down to Wenger as he is the one who created this team.He is to blame and with him in charge. We win nothing. At least Graham’s teams knew how to defend two goals lead.

  836. nishanth says:

    http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_5652250,00.html?
Plenty of oppurtunities in the second half? Was he even watching the match

  837. gunnergetyou says:

liverpool only 1 point behind us

  838. AA23 says:

Worst thing is that spurs will beat us next week as well.

  839. Emperor Gooner says:

    why??? ummmmmmmmmmmm…

    cuz

    1. he’s a cunt
    2. he gets some sort of unique pleasure in giving away possession
3.he can’t head to save his life
    4.he’s a cunt
    5.he’s lazy
    6.he’s slow
    7.gives away free kicks
    8.did i mention he’s a cunt???

  840. Keyser says:

Heh Paulinho, yeah baby, give it to them hard.

  841. paul says:

Cesc looks tired we should try Diaby as captain for a while

  842. SUGA3 says:

this is just fucking unbelievable – AW will continue playing his useless favourites with gems like Vela and Merida sitting on the bench or not even making the squad – how on earth can you keep an ‘undroppable’ player on his toes?

this not only makes the player in question think ‘fuck, I’m good’, but also sends out the wrong message to the rest of them – here’s Wenger’s shit man management for you…

  843. luke says:

    Wenger is just unbelievable sometimes

  844. GunnerShabz says:

most teams will love to be 2 nil up and keep at it we just love to sit back and be arrogant

thats the problem we think we too good.. when we not even earned that respect yet

the invincibles were good but everyone knows our weakness at the moment

  845. thaatarsenalguy says:

i totally blame wenger for not making the right subs at the right time. also not getting the players in th eright mentality its him who needs to kick them up the arse and tell them what’s expected of them at 2-nil up. All this talk of experience… FUCK THAT! once something has happened to you once , then you learn from it how many times would u keep sticking your hands in a fire if you got burned the first time. Either wenger isnt holding them accountable for their actions, or they just dont give a fuck and will keep doing it

  846. Maciek says:

Pat. I respect Your view but aside from 6:1 trashing against Everton we weren’t so great this season. 13 goals in 9 matches? Our defensive play is shocking as always. As ALWAYS.

  847. @ Geoff, Song had a good game, i am more pissed off that once the free-kick is wrong awareded, Mannone has got to palm it away from goal, basic mistake thus letting WHAM get a sniff. We need better concentration from every player not just defenders

  848. gambon says:

I just hope Stan is a ruthless cunt when he takes over, and he tells Arsene he’s finished at the club.

    Stubborn cunt!

  849. luke says:

Diaby hurts us more then helps us…
    -Utd own goal
    -Giving away free kicks needlessly
-Giving away free kicks in dangerous areas needlessly
-He told the press he isnt nearly as good or strong as Patrick Viera

  850. Pat says:

Mannone isn’t good enough. Lets see how Fabianski does against Liverpool. Its him or Almunia against the Spuds next week

  851. Maciek says:

SUGA, it obvious he has his favourites. He always had.

  852. AA23 says:

Every team knows they can get something out of a game with us. West ham are FUCKING WOEFUL and they came back at us from 2 goals down. Spurs will fucking murder us, they are 10 times the team that West ham are right now.
theres no fear factor playing us. we can be 2 or 3 goals ahead and concede 3 in 10 minutes.
    I’m so fucking angry.

  853. gambon says:

    thaatarsenalguy,

Its not even about substitutions. My saturday league team couldnt throw away as many leads as this team does.

Yet Arsene just wont do a thing about it. He’s a cunt.

  854. Emperor Gooner says:

“I believe we had many disadvantages in the game but overall we played a good game and unfortunately we couldn’t finish the third goal off.

“We had plenty of opportunities in the second half and in the end when the other team comes back to 2-1 and any little decision goes against you, you can pay for it.”

fuck off wenger just fuck off..you and your good for nothing duo just destroyed my week

  855. leon says:

from what i swa of the game diaby played ok but it seams every time we drop points or lose its always diaby, eboue or songs fault which i think ist shame because i think all 3 played quite well but they juts switched off for little bit throwing away all there hard work they need work on there concentration at times but they worked very hard played very well

  856. Colonel Mustard says:

blame the manager….the likes of Cesc and Ardshavin are broken because of playing with the mediocrity of Diaby, Mannone, Song and Eboue, they are just not ready!

  857. SUGA3 says:

Supergunner, Mannone is fucking shit and what pisses me off the most is that he is standing in Szczesny’s way – I’m betting dollars against cow dung that he would not make such stupid mistake – scroll up, you will see that I commented that Mannone was a bag of nerves, he is just too fuck-up prone and playing him in a derby game is a joke…

  858. Pat says:

Cesc and Arshavin have their minds elsewhere, it seems

  859. Maciek says:

Luke. It won’t happen mate. You do know, Arsene has got a job for life. Enjoy another 13 yeasr of this crap.

  860. nn says:

manone has been pushing free kicks the same way for weeks. he was an accident waiting to happen. how come every top team has a world class keeper but us. its the lazy we have this match won disrespect for the opposition that sickens me. i feel we got wat we deserved, u cant win a title with eboue in midfied, the slow song, the lazy diaby and a shit keeper in ur first 11.how wasted is arshavin out on the left?criminal wenger

  861. nishanth says:

Cesc and arshavin look totally different when they have rosicky next to him.Thank god nasri is back.He will be a great substitute

  862. SUGA3 says:

Maciek, my point is that having unmerited favourites in a result oriented business is just fucking unprofessional…

  863. patthegooner says:

    Maciek

your opinion buddy and you are entitled to it, and it is good to hear what fellow gooners think.

But I think we are playing at a different level this year. We are much much better, but we have to stop using sentinment for team selection.

God knows how Diaby continues to get starts, he really is anonymous in games, yet because he is tall, it somehow justifies giving him a starting spot, even though he will explode if he ever takes both feet off the ground (Only excuse for his inability to jump)

At 2-0 I though its not vintage but winning games like this are key to winning the league.

Conceding goals like that is inexcusable.

We are better but I think what frustrates me is that days like today are avoidable, and yet we get sucked in. Even at 2-0 I bet most of us just knew we would concede at least 1

  864. AA23 says:

all this bollocks about Cesc and Arshavin having their minds on barca is crap too. even if it was true they would still want to play well, stupid thing to say.

  865. gambon says:

“couldnt finish the third goal off”

Or how about just keeping it at 2-0 Wenger you CUNT!!

He literally doesnt have a clue what defence is.

  866. Emperor Gooner says:

lol leon…which match did ya watch?

  867. David says:

Can’t really say I’m surprised by the result. I hope now that we can all see that last seasons catastrophy had fuck all to do with players like Ade. The reality is that Wenger continues his shocking team selection and tactics. Everbody was so fucking lazy. A result like this would never happn under Red Nose.

  868. choy says:

    nishanth

I am hoping he will be in the starting eleven rather than a sub.

  869. Pat says:

WHAT an erroe by mannone. 2 weeks in a row he gifts the opposition the goal. This puts an even greater importance on the NL derby. We need to win

  870. Maciek says:

SUGA. With Wenger in charge we will never see Wojtek in our goal.I’m talking about the Premiership.

  871. gunnergetyou says:

i dont know what was worse, the result, the performance, or our deluded manager trying to convince us that we played well today.

  872. Colonel Mustard says:

quote – “ven at 2-0 I bet most of us just knew we would concede at least 1″ ….SPOT ON mate!

  873. Maqitlarge says:

    .

  874. patthegooner says:

Leon, I think the difference is with the likes of Cesc, Arshavin etc, they may well have a poor game, but they still have the quality to change a game in an instance.

With Diaby, he does fuck all week in week out and somehow gets picked week in week out.

  875. SUGA3 says:

Mourinho was right 100% – Wenger needs to get a toe up his arse, PHW talking bollocks like Wenger cannot be criticised does exactly the opposite…

  876. gambon says:

    Colonel Mustard,

    Awesome name.

But yes i agree, at any point in a game we are on the brink of conceeding a goal and its pathetic.

  877. kirby says:

you made me crack up in your post at 18:48 gambon but you are right when we fuck up and annoying pricks try sweeting up there is no need for it, they are just wind ups!

  878. AA23 says:

what an opportunity to gain some points on the rest too. Wouldnt you think the team would play their bollocks off for the whole match? wouldnt you think Wenger would make some subs early enough to make a difference?
    so fucking pathetic.

  879. nishanth says:

Yeah choy i am hoping too.But then for that diaby has to go out. Can’t see that happening. Why did he even have nasri on the bench today.

  880. Jaguar says:

WTF is Vela?Cant believe that Mr.Diaby/eboue deserves a start ahead of Vela.FFS,Mr Arsene start our bestb players, not YOUR favourites.

  881. leon says:

sorry but its realy pissing me off everybody jumping bangwagon on diaby and worse thing about he played quite well both him and eboue there passing went astray at times but they worked realy hard,aa played quite poorly by his standerds but no one ever sais anything about that just once try to be abit objective

  882. AA23 says:

I hope Diaby does go out.Theres another way the cunt has cost us this season, he took one of our better players out in training.
He’ll start agains spurs though and we will lose.

  883. AA23 says:

Leon if you are seriously going to defend Diaby then you are out of your mind.
And your posts are mostly unreadable by the way.

  884. mayank says:

Arsene Wenger Diary: Personal Repertoire of Excuses

    1) “I believe we had many disadvantages in the game but overall we played a good game and unfortunately we couldn’t finish the third goal off.

“We had plenty of opportunities in the second half and in the end when the other team comes back to 2-1 and any little decision goes against you, you can pay for it.”

  885. gunnergetyou says:

leon, diaby was ok, but eboue was embarrassing, how can you say he played quite well?

  886. Colonel Mustard says:

leon, yes they are ok BUT when you have Van persie, ardshavin, cesc, vermalen, gallas etc. is it fair on them to have OK? They are just not good enough and everything they try to do turns to much eventually. Think if we had two quality defensive midfielders when them. and yes I could name 10…

  887. SUGA3 says:

leon, point is that there are better skilled and more intelligent players available, yet he does get full 90 minutes week in week out…

so yes, fuck Diaby – let him fuck off to a club where he will get his wish to play in the hole…

can’t blame Eboue, he was average at best in RM, now he was asked to play in the front 3…

  888. Maciek says:

Patthegooner. Thanks for a good word. Still 13 goals in 13 matches is SHOCKING and we still can’t defend. We have got only one great defender in our team and he was bought this summer. I’m tired of this crap. Once again we have failed. We are so fragile.Maybe it’s time to give Senderos a chance?

  889. Colonel Mustard says:

    turns to mush even…

  890. mayank says:

    2) I believe that this is a young side and when you are young , you leran all the way and dont believe that winning is most important

  891. Maciek says:

    *in 9 matches.

  892. Keyser says:

It’s a fucking open comment section people can say what they want, loads of people talk shit all the time, if we told everyone to fuck off when they disagreed with something or tried to be snide about AKB bullshit, you wouldn’t have site worth visiting.

If all you want is someone to jerk you off whille you type your opinions out, I’m sure therte’s loads of other sites for that.

  893. Colonel Mustard says:

sad thing is diaby will be first name on teamsheet vs. Spuds…

  894. Jon Kabira says:

“what an opportunity to gain some points on the rest too. Wouldnt you think the team would play their bollocks off for the whole match?”

and that shows that they don’t have winning mentality

  895. Paulinho says:

What’s funny is that you always get people coming on saying others are overreacting when we lose goals like we did against Alkmaar.

These guys totally miss the point. Because games like today totally back up what we’re talking about. It’s called bad habits, or in our case, just plain retardness and lack of brain cells.

  896. patthegooner says:

    He didnt though Leon

once again I hardly even realised that Diaby was playing. He is not good enough and we have better options on the bench.

You are right AA did not have a great game, but he is a great player, and like I said, he has the ability to provide one second of magic in 90 mins that wins a game. Diaby does not have that ability.

Diaby is like a shit curry house, where your vindaloo is constantly under cooked, and your popadoms are soft, yet because you know the owner you keep buying it.

Arshavin is your Chicken Tikka where 4 out of 5 times you have a great curry, but on the odd occaision the chef is having an off day and you get the shits.

  897. nishanth says:

In all fairness our defenders are really talented.Except maybe clichy. But then we can’t defend as a team.

  898. Maciek says:

SUGA. It won’t happen. Arsene has his job for life.

  899. Jaguar says:

Fucking shit shitvestre ahead of Senderos.Mr Wenger open your eyes and see that there is a world beyond France and shits like Diabolical and Silvestre.Disgrace,.

  900. simon mcmahon says:

well say goodbye to vela in january although he’s left footed he will want to fuck off and i for one will not blame him.

without him or walcott we have no pace up front and i’m afraid the eboue experiment on the wing is a fucking joke.

what do vela, wilshere, merida, ramsey , think when they watch shit players like eboue and diaby play in front of them every week.
i’m afraid the waiter will walk back into goal for the spud game ,
i for one would play ramsey or nasri in front of diaby and never want to see eboue play wide right again,
well here we go its groudhog day again for us with stupid players making stupid mistakes

  901. mayank says:

3)We have a lot of injuries this season and still we gave them a hard game. i believe there is hunger ,desire and passion.

  902. Emperor Gooner says:

i dunno..this draw hurts more than the manchester games..we’re 3rd , actually second if we consider our game in hand won but it just erodes that trust which had developed………….probably the only positive is that we have nasri n rosicky r back , but then they have to be chosen ahead of “certain” players if they are to make an impact

  903. leon Says:
    October 25, 2009 at 19:03

from what i swa of the game diaby played ok but it seams every time we drop points or lose its always diaby, eboue or songs fault which i think ist shame because i think all 3 played quite well but they juts switched off for little bit throwing away all there hard work they need work on there concentration at times but they worked very hard played very well

    —————————————————

    Spot on

  904. leon says:

aa, i am going by what see on the pitch and he played ok today he and was not to blame for draw,he is not best player at arsenal but you cant keep blaming him each and everything that goes wroung,i would expected alot more from aa and fab

  905. patthegooner says:

Right that is me for the night.

Loads to do, but I leave you with this.

Today was the most dissapointing result of the season so far.

  906. SUGA3 says:

Jaguar, my point exactly – when Gallas appeared to be injured, I thought ‘oh fuck, why is Silvestre on the bench and not Senderos?’ – why oh why?

Wenger is not capable of a hairdryer moment and that is exactly what this bunch of cotton-wooled, pampered girls needs, IMO – why not learn from what happened to Ade when he realised he was undroppable?

  907. Ja_Gunner says:

I hope Vela leaves the club…..

Wenger talks up his players so much and then does not play them…..

I can understand not playing Bendy or Eddy because they just came off injuries….but why the fuck was Vela not even in the squad?

    We could have played Vela……RVP……Arshavin….

Can you imagine what Arshy was thinking when he was in the box and Eboue smashed the ball thoughtlessly into row Z?

I would have subbed Eboue right after that incident….

    Diaby played ok today

Wenger drops Vela and brings back Nasri who was

    1. Definitely not match fit
    2. He had no intention of using him

Arshavin could have played better…..but the point is Wenger has players and wont fucking using them

Vela leave the club for your own good!!!!!!!!!!!!

  908. Jaguar says:

Wenger’s PM reactions wont be complete without the words Hunger, desire and passion.

  909. gambon says:

No league in 6 years then!

  910. nishanth says:

For a team that hasn’t won a trohpy in 4 years we should be showing a lot more desire and hunger.

  911. Samir says:

Now that I have calmed down I would like to apologize for my swearing lol…

  912. mayank says:

Please Geoof, can we add a column names list of excuses of our great Arse-ne.
Then we can easily refer to what is being used frequently as a excuse and then can play a contest where the one who guesses the right excuse of the game win. That way we wont be as pissed as now.

All hail the Great Arsene for his Motivational Skill because of whom we were able to drop only 2 points against mighty West Ham.

  913. SUGA3 says:

Supergunner, this is a relegation fodder we are talking about – we gave them hard game, blah, blah, blah: we should be pissing all over them and leaving their players and fans in serious need of psychiatric help, ffs…

  914. gambon says:

Why are we paying Wenger £6m a year, If we want to win nothing and throw away leads we could pay Paul Ince £500k pa,

  915. mayank says:

    Sorry Geoff

  916. Jon Kabira says:

Wenger’s PM reactions wont be complete without the words Hunger, desire and passion.

    Which were absent today

  917. nishanth says:

I really can’t understand why wenger doesn’t play vela instead of eboue.Wish someone had asked that during AGM.When i stressed this point after AZ game many told me about the defensive stability that eboue gives us

  918. Jaguar says:

Mayank, its incredible to see that you have turned out to be an Arsene basher from an AKB,overnight.

  919. Samir says:

    gambon Says:

Why are we paying Wenger £6m a year, If we want to win nothing and throw away leads we could pay Paul Ince £500k pa,
    ——————————————————–

    Great one that Gambon!
    I’m sure any

  920. Samir says:

I’m sure any of us here could have done a better job managing the team today than Wenger…..

  921. Emperor Gooner says:

first of all diaby DID NOT have an “ok” game..and even if did , “ok” aint good enough..the guy is anonymous through out the game…all he does apart from giving away possession is –

    1.lose headers
2.pass the ball back to fabregas
3.lose all physical battles against players he really shouldnt
4.exude an air of utter clumsiness in everything he does

and EBooooooooooooooooo playing for us is obviously a miracle…a miracle for him!!

  922. Stu says:

Diaby doesnt lose headers because he doesnt go for them in the first place.

  923. Paulinho says:

It was quite funny that Wenger tried his best to act like nothing untoward happened after the game.

He knows that if he publicly admits to the team “lacking a little bit maturity” again then he will be a laughing stock, especially when he’s only said it about 25,000 times already.

So he’s trying to give it the old “nothing to see here” routine. lol.

  924. reggie57 says:

i wish people would stop taking the piss out of leons posts? you know what he is trying to say but sometimes he finds it difficult to put into words, argue with him by all means but dont take the piss!!

  925. Jaguar says:

Dont say that Diaby lose headers.I have seen two of his best headers, one against United at OT,and a lesser fruitful one against AZ away.

  926. Ja_Gunner says:

Now Liverpool will have confidence…..this might end up being a horrible 9 days or so…

Benitez will play a relatively strong team against us in the CC because he will want to keep a winning momentum…

I guess this will be Benitez’s lineup against us

    ………………..Reina…………………..

    Johnson……….Skrtel……….Agger………….Dossena

    ……………Aquliani…….Spearing………………..

    Babel…………….Voronin………………..Aurelio

    …………………..Ngog………………………..

    Something like that

I hope the kids can beat them

  927. Stu says:

We dont have the winning mentality so even if we do have a better bunch of players than most other teams it doesnt really matter because when push comes to shove we just panic and as we saw tonight we cave.

  928. SUGA3 says:

    second that, reggie…

  929. Samir says:

Diaby played “OK” for his standards only….
“Absolutely SHIT” in any other CM’s standards….
After watching the Liverpool game before ours I can’t believe why people say we play the most exciting football….. That’s a thing of the past….. With Wenger in charge we play crap with his line ups!!

Lucas tore up Man United today, Banayoun also….

    We lose 2-1 V the scum…..

  930. Keyser says:

reggie57 – you have a heart of gold, hopefully you weren’t being sarcastic. heh

  931. Stu says:

    Whos takin the piss Reggie?

  932. mayank says:

Sorry Jaguar, you are mistaken. The one that you are referring to might still be an Arsene admirer. I am a much older fella here who occasionally blogs than the recent ” Mayank” guy

Still i think Arse-ne is shit …he doesn’t have the right attitude

  933. Emperor Gooner says:

wouldnt this have been the perfect weekend???

anyway m off..to read some quotes on how to muster courage during times of adversity…nite gooners!! let’s try n keep some faith!!

  934. nishanth says:

Can’t wait for someone to come out and throw diaby and eboue’s stats

  935. reggie57 says:

No im not being sarcastic Keyser

  936. Maciek says:

Hope Nasri will come back soon.

  937. Jaguar says:

Apologies mayank.Mayank, who posts here regularly,is very close to being an AKB follower.

  938. SUGA3 says:

faith is supposed to do miracles and I have a lot of faith in our bunch of players, but I just don’t have any faith in Arsene being reasonable and picking his best team and THAT is a problem…

  939. Jon Kabira says:

I wonder what kind of pep talk he give to the team…is it the same thing he always said on public or something else..

  940. leon says:

i think people need to bear in mind that vela has only played 1 season in england and wenger has no intebtions in rushing him plus he will most defenatly be plaing in carling cup game its just abou being patient he is only 19/20.this game was not going besame as playing at home all the same we were away should have won,but this nonense about no desier and no heart sorry a off switching yes.but its still early in the season and they can learn from thi sbut does does that mean dm player i dont know a bit of lack experience possibly

  941. Ja_Gunner says:

    Again I say Carlos Vela…….leave Arsenal…..Wenger does not trust/rate you…………..

Its a fucking lie that Eboue gives us defensive stability……..we conceded didnt we?

And when he plays forward he does not keep to hisside at all he is all over the pitch..popping up into positions in which he is useless……

    CARLOS LEAVE ARSENAL

    WENGER DOESNT RATE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!

I MEAN THEO,EDDY AND BENDY ALL INJURED AND YOU STILL CANT GET A START…..

WHAT THE FUCK IS WENGER SHEILDING VELA FROM?….HE HAS PLAYED IN THE WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS UNDER INTENSE PRESSURE AND HE HAS HELPED HIS COUNTRY REACH THE WORLD CUP SAFELY.

    WENGER YOU IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DONT PLAY EBOUE AS RIGHT FORWARD EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!

  942. Samir says:

AND WTF was Sagna doing RM for the first half????
Are we taking the piss or what?

  943. paul says:

What is wrong with being an AKB if that’s what you believe.

  944. @ SUGA3, all i am saying stop blaming players who did nothing wrong, once the free-kick is given, we have concentrate thats why i apportioned alot of the blame to Mannone, terrible GKing, basics palm shots outwide if you cant catch.

I am annoyed as well but when you see idiots start commenting how we should buy 10 players then it makes me think are they bunch of 10 yr olds. Like i said before Arsh was our worst player on the pitch but Ebo & Lanky are getting the blame for what [free-kick that never was], people should be objectve instead covering their eyes with tinted glasses.

  945. Ja_Gunner says:

I AM SURE VELA COULD HAVE PLAYED TODAY AND ALSO TUESDAY AND IF NOT WE WOULD HAVE BENDY AND EDDY READY TO COME IN FOR THE CC GAME…..

    SIMPLE AS THAT

  946. nishanth says:

A draw against spurs and we will have the same points we had last season. With diaby and eboue there is no flow to our game.No tempo.Poor RVP is upfront getting absolutely no service

  947. Stu says:

Sagna spent so much time in the oppo half because Eboue was always coming inside and staying there giving Sagna all the space to roam into.

  948. SUGA3 says:

Paul – belief is one thing, harmful delusion is another: yes, Arsene made us strong financially, but most of the fans are not shareholders and do not give a fuck that we have 70 million quid tucked away, do they?

it is a result business and we are not getting any…

  949. nishanth says:

Also it is really annoying that they don’t show many replays during our games.

  950. Paulinho says:

    Agree with you Ja gunner.

Merida and Vela should leave and leave Arsene to his french-African fetishes. He must be particularly enamoured with their unique gormless expressions.

  951. goonermichael says:

Personally I think most of the team were shit and don’t blame diaby etc. But I think Wenger could hav ebrough Dudu and Bendtner on much earlier when we looked likely to throw it away. I think Wenger has to shoulder the blame for this. Dropping Mannone won’t solve anything as Almunia is no better.

  952. Hitman says:

When Wenger decided not to spend in the summer – he opted out of winning trophies. This is a Wenger trait. He always leaves himself short of quality players – hence the number of 2nd places in his managerial career.
Actualy it is a mental weakness. He makes the same mistake season after season.
I have said it before – DIRECTOR of FOOTBALL to buy the players Wenger wont. No wonder he didnt go to Madrid. Either that or Gazidis has got to force him to buy players in Jan.

  953. nishanth says:

Except for the First two games of the season diaby has started in every single game.Shocking indeed.Atleast for the sake of giving him a rest drop him

  954. paul says:

Looking forward to the game against Liverpool.Hopefully we will see Nasri,Vela,Jack and Nikki now thats mouth watering.May have a spare ticket in club level if anyone is interested.

  955. lott says:

I have a feeling that wenger is gonna keep playing diaby(shite) just the sake of ‘physical presence’ and for the plain reason that he is tall therefore balancing out the midfield, which is really ridiculous as diaby doesnt provide any of it. For a tall player he is awfully bad at heading too! And eboue… how can arsene play him all the time, this time being up top, when he was so close to selling him in the summer! Eboue is not at all versatile!

I’m getting nervous for the spuds game next week. Last year’s 4-4 draw was the worst game experience ever! fingers cross that lennon will still be injured by next week..

  956. SUGA3 says:

I will not say replace 10 players, I will only second what Cesc and AA are saying: 2 players short of domination, and these players happen to be a class GK and a replacement for Diaby who is not a CM and (with his natural position being SS) is a surplus to requirements…

thing is no one wants to buy this wanker, and Wenger will continue with this square peg nonsense at the expense of yet another season…

  957. rico says:

Evening guys and gals, I would like to bring a girls view to the table…

This morning I was very scepticle about the game today, and truly believed we would draw. Then I listened to you fine folk here and had a lot more confidence and had faith that we would win…

I am not an AKB, but I don’t think AW is to blame for today. Just like against AZ we (who on paper whould have torn WH apart) turned up at Upton Park already believing the three points were in the bag.

I dont like seeing Diaby start, or Eboue unless he is RB, but that side should have destroyed WH after going 2-0 up – but no, they thought the game was over, took the foot off the gas and just about secured a draw.

We can all slate Eboue, diaby, Song, and others, and trust me, I do, but so many players today should go home and think ‘long and hard’ ( ;) ) about their own performances today….

  958. leon says:

    ja

vela just needs to patient he is only 19-20 he this only second season and you have admitt both edwardo, rvp nikki b are ahead of him i dont want him go dont say thing like that

  959. Samir says:

I saw an interview the other day where Wenger said he wants to manage arsenal for “many more years to come”….
She asked him will we be having another interview similar on your 70th birthday and he said “Of course not” She said When will you be leaving then??
Wenger replied “I will be here in the next game. And after that the next”. (In his gay French accent)

Wenger is getting a bit old now…..
This is the last season for him IMO. If he delivers nothing once again he HAS to go.

  960. nn says:

carlton cole summed it up. hard work. west ham worked their socks off. something we are incapable off. thats wy we will win fuck all ,simple

  961. goonermichael says:

    Arshavin was pants as well

  962. goonermichael says:

    Hi Rico
It’s much livelier on here when we don’t win!

  963. nishanth says:

I can understand vela having to be patient if he has rosicky or arshavin as competetion. But the fact that he can’t get into the side because of eboue is a joke

  964. SUGA3 says:

GM, Almunia is – unfortunately – our best keeper, he just had a dip in form caused by family problems…

to say that Almunia is no better than Mannone is ridiculous, but that is your opinion ;)

  965. Maciek says:

SUGA, we need more than 2. A gk, a new, quality central defender, a cdm and a winger.

  966. goonermichael says:

Who shall we get Samir and how many seasons without a trophy can that person have?

  967. Ja_Gunner says:

Agree Paulinho…..Merida should leave as well…because reserve football wont get them anywhere..

I think Merida should be on loan quite frankly…

Also I just doent see why Wenger brought Nasri with him when he had no intention of using him..at the same time allowing Vela to rot away in London….

I mean if Vela cant get a start when 3 forwards are injured/not 100% …he might as well leave and get games elsewhere….

And its also possible that Merida will not start the CC game because Nasri will be back…..so Merida will be off soon as well….

The only way Merida will get a game is if Nasri plays as one of the front 3

  968. goonermichael says:

    SUGA
Almunia get’s slated on here the whole time. Mannone has been playing ok. We didn’t lose the game because of him.

  969. rico says:

Hi GM, I have noticed that ;) AA was dreadful, I am starting to think he does want to go to Barca, and can’t believe his comments this week about Spurs…. Is he just another Anelka or Reyes ??

  970. SUGA3 says:

Vela is fucking class and if he has an ounce of brain he should tell Wenger to play him or go fuck himself…

  971. goonermichael says:

I think he’s a lazy cunt sometimes (notice I’m using the local language) Some of the shit he’s saying is bad.

  972. goonermichael says:

Vela should go and sit on madrid’s bench

  973. SUGA3 says:

GM, the fact that we didn’t lose the game with him in goal is just a technicality, IMO – if he played for opposition or any other team, I’d piss myself laughing, but the joke’s on us in this case, which is unacceptable…

  974. Ja_Gunner says:

Again I say I can understand Vela not playing if

Eddy, Bendy, Theo, Nasri & Rosicky are all fit

But all these guys were injured/not100% and Vela still cant get a start?

Eboue…right forward? Square pegs round holes once again.

  975. goonermichael says:

I meant we didn’t draw the game BECAUSE of him.

  976. SUGA3 says:

Vela needs games at this age and he is not getting many with us, despite dazzling performances for club and country, yet we continue playing second rate players like Diaby, who will never be good enough…

saw a post-AZ interview with him and his attitude fucking stinks – all too well known Ade-like ‘oh well’…

being the best mates with Diarra says it all…

  977. zeus says:

I have more confidence in the kids of the CC than I have in the senior team atm. At least we know that in an attacking capacity they will play ball. I’m not saying we will win but the display going forward will not be as lazy and unprofessional as our last 2 displays.

  978. Stu says:

The most annoying thing today was the subs.

West hams subs got them the point. Hines and Diamante.

But with Wenger he didnt even wait til the 70th minute like usual. The first sub wasnt until they equalised and then Eduardo came on for a whole 3 minutes. We might as well as not even bring any subs because its not like they are gonna have enough time to make a telling impact.

  979. lott says:

    Ja gunner,completely agree with you..
I dont think wenger practices what he preach. He says he believes in playing kids and how he has 100% confident in his kids but when the crunch time comes, he opt for the coward tactic of playing an older right back as one of his strikers. He could have brought on eduardo earlier to but choose to bring him on only on the 88th minute. what the hell is eduardo supposed to do with only 4 mins on the pitch.

  980. SUGA3 says:

yes we did, GM – no GK should ever do what he did, it’s bread and butter stuff in goal: I’d rather play half fit Fabianski or Szczesny rather that this clown…

  981. Samir says:

goonermichael, If we win NOTHING again this season (looks likely) wouldn’t you want Wenger out? He has some great players at his disposal and chooses not to use them.
He leaves his substitutions to late EVERY game 65-70 mins usually.
    Or 90 mins like today!!

I would chose a former player. Someone Arsenal through and through….
    Bergkamp maybe???
He might take to it like Josep Guardiola did???

  982. patthegooner says:

    Rico

I do, but so many players today should go home and think ‘long and hard’ ( ;) ) about their own performances today….

Good shout, I think you are right there.

  983. rico says:

I just think the whole bloomin team are to blame…
GM – I am sick of reading his comments to be honest, tax, mancs, barca – Audrey, you play for Arsenal, they pay your wages, please keep quiest!!!

  984. Samir says:

5 going 6 seasons without a trophy at ARSENAL FC is taking the mikey tbh……

  985. leon says:

i feel if vela does not get more playing next season he will be off,i can understand the first few season wenger being cortious with him not wanting rush him,bit in this game we were 2 goals ahead should have been more than enough realy

  986. Stu says:

Samir, surely you mean 4 going on 5.

  987. Pat says:

Still, if we win out game in hand, we’re 2 pts. off the leaders. The good news is that all the games we’ve lost or drawn could have been prevented. Better get these out of the way now then at the end of the season. What a fucking heartbreaker though. We need a win against the SPurs.

    Almunia
    Sagna Gallas Verm Clichy
    Cesc Song Nasri
    Rosicky RVP Arshavin

Go for broke. I want to see a brave selection from Wenger.

  988. Stu says:

Was Vela even on the bench today?

  989. rico says:

    thanks pat ;)

  990. peachesgooner says:

If Arsene doesn’t let the players know that hes angry about this result then some of the dim ones will believe his rubbish about playing well and being unlucky.

  991. rico says:

    patthegooner i mean :)

  992. SUGA3 says:

leon – Vela will be off in the summer at best if he does not get games, it’s as simple as that, so will Merida…

if he does not get to play against a bottom three team at 2:0 up when the game is more open for him to dazzle, he never will…

  993. Samir says:

    yes sorry Stu.. :S
    Don’t know how I came to that…

  994. Samir says:

Marco van Basten. He could be a great manager at Arsenal!

  995. Jon Kabira says:

No Stu but Silvestre is on the bench

  996. SUGA3 says:

just going ahead of yourself Samir, eh?

    ‘judge me in 2 years’

  997. Samir says:

What would Wenger say in 2 years if he still has won nothing?
    It would be quite interesting…

  998. SUGA3 says:

Wenger is just frustrating with his tactical ineptitude and over cautious approach with subs…

great tactician? fuck me, whenever the game gets tough, he is found out of his depth, again, no plan B…

  999. Jaguar says:

Judge me in two years, four years, six years, eight years,For fucks sake.

  1000. Stu says:

We arguably had a better attack on the bench than we did on the pitch.

Why put Nasri on the bench if you arent going to bring him on? Same for the others. Bendtner and Eduardo came on but far too late to do anything.

  1001. goonermichael says:

Vela could have come on if gallas or Vermy got injured

  1002. SUGA3 says:

Arshavin speaks his mind – frustrating as it may be, fella is right: he came here from a place where he was a total superstar and thought he was making a step up to win bigger and better things, now he sees that this will not happen with certain individuals being undroppable…

  1003. Stu says:

If a CB was injured Song could just move back and put another midfielder on.

Its pointless even having Silvestre on the bench.

  1004. goonermichael says:

Maybe he should fuck off then

  1005. Doublegooner says:

Just got home & to be honest, I’m not suprised.

What I am is genuinely scared for, is next week & when we have to play the chavs.

This team is clearly no where as good as the hype.

Anyone out there still blinded to think we can win a title or have no problem being top 4 with a permutation of a rookie keeper & a midfield of Song Eboue & the useless misfit are clearly deluded like our manager.

Our only hope is he has recognised this & finds another 2 Vermaelen’s.

  1006. rico says:

I will leave you all to debate the day……

    But don’t fall out ;) ;)

  1007. SUGA3 says:

GM, if Gallas or Vermy got injured we have fucking Silvestre as a backup with Big Phil in limbo (neither 1st team nor reserves) – how do you explain that?

  1008. SUGA3 says:

GM, he should not fuck off, team should be built around good players, not cack ones…

  1009. SUGA3 says:

    ahhh, what the hell…

    HATTRICK :!:

  1010. Samir says:

Bendtner looked good when he came on.
    Should have been:

    ———-Mannone——–(Been good up til now)
    Eboue–Gallas–Vermy–Clichy
    ———Song———–
    —Fabregas–Arshavin—–
    Bendtner–RVP–Eduardo

  1011. goonermichael says:

point taken stu. But if song goes off as well. Silvetsre can cover centre back and left back that’s why he’s on the bench.

  1012. Doublegooner says:

Wenger has said he believes we’ll win a trophy.

We will, The Ladies are still the best.

  1013. leon says:

i dont think so suga,i feel players like ramsey, vela, wiltshire and merida are fullyy awear that he will have to patient in big team like arseanl and other players who ahead of him the fact is right now edwardo, rvp, nasri,aa and risicky are ahead of vela and i dont think you can at point in this time vela is better option than either of them, eboue is more experienced tham him, wenger will use him in craling cup games but he is lower in pecking order and wil have prove him self that goes for merida as well

  1014. goonermichael says:

I don’t hear Torres talking shit all the time and he’s in a shit team with a shit manager.

  1015. Stu says:

We should have just started anyone that can capably use a football. That rules out Diaby and Eboue…what a suprise.

  1016. SUGA3 says:

Silvestre can’t cover shit, GM – he is old and slow which brings nervousness (as if we did not have it in abundance already) to the team – left back? you’re having a laugh, he would get raped by any half decent winger…

  1017. Stu says:

That reminds me. I missed most of the last 10minutes because the stream went down.
Did Song get booked? Hopefully he did.

  1018. goonermichael says:

I didn’t say he was any good and I think he’s useless I was saying why he was on the bench.

  1019. Stu says:

I would rather have bought Hyypia than have Silvestre.

  1020. Ja_Gunner says:

If we had dropped points with Vela on the pitch I would be ok…

But when I saw Eboue beat his man and then dispatch the ball into row Z I was very upset……
At 2-0 why didnt Wenger make some changes?

He should have got Eboue off switched Arshy to the right and put Eddy on the left….

Why did he wait until they equalised to react….

Even at 2-1……he only sent on Bendnter…..why not just make a double change?

  1021. goonermichael says:

    Don’t think so Stu

  1022. Samir says:

    He didn’t Stu :(

  1023. SUGA3 says:

Torres is a pussy, AA is a man, here’s the difference for you, GM…

  1024. goonermichael says:

On that note I’ll see you all later. Have fun

  1025. Stu says:

Fuck sake Song! Idiot cant even get a tactical booking! What the fuck!

AA speaks up because he isnt afraid of what might happen him. Torres is just a very quiet person and doesnt want to upset anyone.

  1026. Jaguar says:

We would be better playing with ten men than having shitty wankers like Diabolical and Shitvestre.

  1027. goonerwinsoon says:

funny (in a horrible way) how many comments are having a go (and quite right too) at the usual suspects and yet the team doesn’t even have Denilson in it-a couple of injuries and we cant be far away from having a midfield of; Diaby,song,denilson,eboue-id rather eat my own face than watch that.

If the Feeble Four get even close to as many games as they had last year we will drop out of that top 4 as the competition has improved.

We drop out of that 4 and the futures of robin, cesc, arshavin are very much up for debate.

It makes the Spurs game MASSIVE next week but today was such a good opportunity-shows the lack of mental character wenger usually loves to praise so much and lack of leadership within our team.

  1028. SUGA3 says:

point of having subs on the bench is being able to have a more or less adequate replacement for any player on the field and in this sense he is a fucking waste of space – and on 2 year contract over 30 for that matter, which makes my blood boil when I remind myself how Bobby was treated…

  1029. Ja_Gunner says:

Ibrahimovich just scored a hell of a freekick….

Thats another thing we need a some players to go practice their set pieces for crying out loud…

Is it that hard to go the training ground erect some walls and practice direct free kicks?

  1030. Samir says:

    This teams going bloody backwards….

  1031. Stu says:

We havent had a capable free kicker since Henry left.

  1032. leon says:

to be honest we realy have seen silvest play that much we saw at end of last season when most of time he was warming the bench i have said this several times 4th choice defender i dont see him as competition for 1st and 2nd defender is last choice so you cant expect the same kind performaces you are not going et top quality squad player who is willing warm bench 90% of season maybe the whole season

  1033. goonermichael says:

The team’s going backwards? Since when. last week, last month. last season the invincibles?

  1034. goonermichael says:

My daughter’s watching 3 talentless mingers raping love don’t live here anymore

  1035. SUGA3 says:

leon – he is not good enough to be a 10th choice at the club of our stature, simple as…

but OK, he was probably bought to be Gallas’ mate, fair enough, but why is he keeping Senderos out of the team when the latter needs games?

    someone please explain :?:

  1036. zeus says:

Question, why the hell is Sebastien Frey not at the club. He is French and he is quality. I dont even care that he is cup tied, with this team confidence as strong as glass then I don’t think when the likes of Barca step forward and apply pressure we will last.

Frey in January window, Almuina out to wherever couldn’t care less

  1037. nn says:

i think wengers time is up. hes obsessed with pretty, perfect football. i think he got lucky when the first few years at arsenal as we had already the meanest defence in football.we also had grafting parlour, wrighty and genius bergy. the foundations were there. now we are stuck with a load of overpaid pussies who have won nothing and think they can go on to a pitch and show no respect for teams like west ham and az and expect those teams to roll over. this mentality has been a disease in this team for a few years now. wenger seems incapable of doing anything about it.this is a team of bottlers. the evidence is there. i could write it down the amount of times this lot have bailed out in big matches etc but i,ll be here all night. a new manager and a complete rethink of this playing kids and playing people out of positions is needed badly. we will win nothing with this lot

  1038. Stu says:

Not seen much of Frey but he cant be an worse than what we already have.

I just hope Fabianski is fit in time for tuesday and next weekend because Mannone is just killing our chances.

  1039. SUGA3 says:

thing is, Wenger is playing a jolly good uncle – players are not stupid and know there will be no proper backlash, hence some of them just don’t give a shit…

  1040. Ja_Gunner says:

Actually I hope Wenger plays Almunia against Liverpool in the CC….

He needssome match practice..we cant just throw him in there against Tottenham….

Why should we play Fabianski and then play Almunia against Tottenham….for me which ever keeper plays against Liverpool should play against Tottenham

  1041. SUGA3 says:

is it the time to start the silly season yet?

Diaby and Mannone can fuck right off, we need another CB (Sakho?), DM (Matuidi?) & world class international GK must be brought in, but this is just not going to happen, is it?

  1042. Stu says:

Thats a bit harsh nn to say Wenger only won things because of luck. He but together the invincibles team. Really it was only Keown and Bergkamp was part of that team that Wenger didnt buy.

  1043. SUGA3 says:

yes Stu, but Keown was the one to make the defence tick, he also did great job as defensive coach, but Wenger must have fallen out with him, right?

Victoria Concordia Crescit, my arse – it is all about building Wenger’s monument in the shape of stadium and chasing pipe dreams like winning CL on a shoestring…

  1044. Ja_Gunner says:

No wonder Gallas cried and sat down on the pitch against Birmingham..

Coming from a winning Chav team Gallas knows what is required and he can see his teamamtes dont have it…that is why he spoke out and got stripped of the captaincy..

As you guys say it seems the culture at the club has become a bottling culture…because Manure etc are low on quality now but are living off a winning attitude

Wenger seems like a bottler too..what else would explain the cowardice of playing Eboue as a forward when you have Vela fully fit and rearing to go?

  1045. Doublegooner says:

    Stu:

Wenger used to have real men in his team.

  1046. Stu says:

Keown didnt even play in the invincibles team tho. He only just about got the 10 appearances. Its not like he was the main defender we had.

  1047. goonermichael says:

Stu you need to realise that wenger is a useless cunt who’s never done anything. He’s thick and he even gave me herpes. Sometimes it’s painful coming on here.

And Suga Arshavin can fuck off with them if he doesn’t like it. It’s actually the pussies that whinge like old ladies all the time. Most “men” get on with it and make the difference or go.

  1048. SUGA3 says:

he must have been doing something right as player/coach role then – besides, we are dwelling too much on the Invincibles season: we just did not concede too many stupid goals like this one today in the past, did we?

players like Keown command respect whether they play or not – proper club legends (something like Giggs at ManUre), where are our legends?

name ONE Arsenal legend currently playing for Arsenal…

  1049. patthegooner says:

What pisses me off is how West Ham got back into the game

It is not like they suddenly turned into Barcelona

We commited football suicide with a goalkeeping howler and giving the Ref a decision to make.

Fucking really poor, once again, worst result of the season and not one you want going into the Spuds game.

  1050. SUGA3 says:

GM, thing is, you must know how to handle egos like AA’s if you want to win things – if you’re happy with a bunch of pussies spouting AKB nonsense for players that will win fuck all, that’s fine…

look at the winning teams – full of well managed egos, not groups of unprofessional, immature, larger than life dickheads who are too full of themselves to put in a good shift because of over inflated unmerited self belief…

  1051. leon says:

i realy have seen enough silvest realy to say that is that bad he never realy played before end of last season,he is not there as competition for places is there just incase all cover defenders gets injured,i think senderos must have been inured when he has last international duty or something because he not evon made bench so far this season

  1052. choy says:

    I want denilson back :(

at least he keeps diaby out of the team.. and where is rosicky when you need him?

  1053. Zorr0 says:

I don’t blam AW for that bollocks today. I blame the players. I blame the Spanish, Russian and French internationals, who think that a game is over before the ref blows the final whistle!

Lazy, arrogant, selfish, big headed bunch of cunts!

  1054. SUGA3 says:

leon, let me enlighten you – Senderos made some comments how much he loved it at Milan when he was trying to get a contract there, he just happened to step out of the line a bit with that and Wenger took offence, that is why we are seeing Silvestre ahead of him…

again, Wenger’s ego being detrimental to our chances…

  1055. finestcuts says:

What most fans are not taking into consideration is the derby factor, derbies are known the world over for unexpected comebacks and results.

I really believe we need a better defensive midfielder than Song.

And I am bemused by the inclusion of Eboue in a creative role with other more creative options available. It showed lack of respect for West Ham and we paid for it.

  1056. Stu says:

Leon, you dont need to see Silvestre play to know he is shit.

Senderos seems to have been shunned by Wenger. There is no legit reason…or none that we have been told about.

  1057. SUGA3 says:

derby or not, WHU had 4 points until today, we should shit all over them, but we chose to take the foot off the gas in the 50th minute – I heard supporters doing this ‘OLE’ nonsense – they should boo…

  1058. SUGA3 says:

Stu, see my comment @ 21:22 – yep, he is being shunned and that is the reason for it…

  1059. luke says:

We wouldnt be under so much pressure we could actually take advantage of our chances and keep possession but that doesnt happen when Eboue is playing as RM and Diaby starts.

  1060. choy says:

    Its Wenger and his selection,

The same team drew at AZ, first sign of complacency.

Come Sunday, no changes to the starting line up.. “C mon lads.. get an early lead and lets fuck it up again.”

A danish international striker and a croatian international striker on the bench because eboue has to play.. where ?

Not in his RB position but in an attacking position!

    fack :(

  1061. patthegooner says:

I agree with you on the derby factor Finest,

But we did not succumb to the Derby Factor there.

we succombed to a keeper that loves the Hollywood punch instead of the catch the ball or worst case tip around the post. We have seen those keepers through time, and none of them make it. Mannone has been an accident waiting to happen, and I will be amazed and actually fucking angry if he plays next Saturday. It is time for Almunia or Fabianski.

What is worse is that he made a similar howler against Brum and we nearly got the same result, only Arshavin settled the nerves.

I said it earlier. Be honest boys and girls, How many of you knew deep down at 2-0 up that we would concede at least one?

That is the problem, we need to get out of that mentality and start killing teams off.

  1062. luke says:

This team can deliver but only if we start players who know how to get results playing the “arsenal” style. If we keep possession, dont give possession away needlessly, and can take advantage of our chances, we win as we saw at Everton, Wigan, Portsmouth etc. But when we give the ball away, that disrupts our attacking rhythm. This team was made to score goals not defend and if we put ourselves in a position where we arnt scoring and on the backfoot a lot, a result like today happens. Thats why Diaby shouldnt start, Eboue shouldnt start as RM, and Cesc/Arsh need to lead a bit better IMO.

  1063. leon says:

suga i dont think because if that was case wenger would just sold him,i think its more case that he contract talks with everton stalled he is stuck at arsesal plus the fact i think he been injured,as far as getting better dm than song i dont they are to many out there, eboue is good player but final pass lets him down but he goes passed players very well but i just cant see wenger chancing youg players like vela and wiltshire in an away game unless its last 10 minuts of agame

  1064. Keyser says:

I don’t think Senderos has been shunned, I’m guessing Senderos lost almost all confidence in himself after the Liverpool game and wanted to move on, so we got him the oppurtunity to go on loan, prove his worth, no-one wanted to buy him.

I don’t really think Senderos thinks he’s up to it, you wouldn’t really blame him after his performance against Liverpool and Wenger’s loathe to play someone who thinks like that.

  1065. Sahara says:

    The team needs a shrink.
And for that matter too, the bench.
    And quickly.

  1066. luke says:

I cant believe I miss Denilson…I cannot stand Diaby any longer…atleast in the starting eleven

  1067. SUGA3 says:

but he DID try to sell him, leon – no one wanted to pay what he wanted, so he just lets him rot and picks a fucking geriatric with no future ahead of him – Senderos is a confidence player and ironically, Wenger is ‘killing’ him…

  1068. patthegooner says:

What the team needs is a nasty piece of work to kidknapp Diaby so he does not get picked next week……

And a even nastier piece of work to tie an explosive device around Eboue’e neck that will blow up if he plays anywhere else apart from RB. That is not a dig at Eboue, I love his effort and work rate and he is a great RB.

  1069. Pat says:

Diaby won’t play now that nasri is available. Rosicky should be back soon so EBoue won’t get as much time either.

Before everyone starts spouting doom and gloom, the impenetrable United defense has conceded 10 goals in 11 games, according to my Manc friend

  1070. SUGA3 says:

Keyser – Senderos is the dogs bollocks for Swiss national team (2 goals in the last game) and has bags of potential…

he plays well there for being appreciated and trusted, simple as…

  1071. Keyser says:

I think Senderos pretty much killed himself, he wanted to play at the top level, got the chance fucked up, how many more chances is he going to get, well it’s up to him, but he’s going to have to work for them.

  1072. luke says:

    Mannone
    Sagna Gallas Vermy Clichy
    Cesc-Song-Diaby
    Eduardo/Bendtner/Vela-Rvp-Arshavin

WHY COULDNT WENGER HAVE USED THIS!

  1073. choy says:

The thing is the league is there for the taking and we can’t really capitalise on it :(

  1074. Keyser says:

Suga3 – Dogs bollocks ? He’s good, maybe he just doesn’t fit into the Premiership, thats not his fault or Wenger’s, he should try Spain, Pique gets caught out for his lack of pace, but he still gets games there.

Fuck me all this talk of a team of pussies and then we want to cuddle Senderos had hold his hand as he plays.

  1075. SUGA3 says:

    Pat,

United is nowhere near the team of last season and that is a fact – Ferdinand is pants and Vidic is suffering because of this as well…

  1076. leon says:

stu at moment we have vern gallas dj senderos song silvest, silvest idealy would be used unless dj gallas and vern are all injured you see what i mean every team needs someonelike that its like having 3rd or 4th keeper,in an ideal world you wont have use silvest but i dont think he is that bad he just has no pace i did not help silvest was very rusty last season and he needed are real commander next to him

  1077. luke says:

I think we can with the right starting eleven. I believe this team can win the PL or the Champions league, but not starting fucking diaby or eboue at RM. We have so much fucking potential, but some players just dont understand that when you play a high line attacking style, you need to score goals and you cant give the fucking ball away…

  1078. finestcuts says:

What is it about Eboue. Is it because he’s the champion goal scorer in training? Or does Arsene want to be cool and play a wildcard selection and prove to the world that he can still win…..or is he emotionally attached to Eboue because he feels sorry for him because he had a hard life growing up?
No one else would choose Eboue over what we have available….I guess it’s very original.

  1079. reggie57 says:

Does anyone know how long Rosisky is out for!!

  1080. nn says:

wise up wenger and buy a world class keeper. these clowns in nets every fuckin week giving away free goals to our opponents is now a fuckin unfunny joke. how may people fancied that clown to save that penalty today?

  1081. luke says:

Think its a bit of a mystery reggie, lets hope for the best.

  1082. patthegooner says:

    Next Weekend

    Almunia
    Eboue, Gallas, Vermaelen, Clichy
    Song
    Cesc, Nasri
    Arshavin, RVP, Rosicky

    = 3 points

But I bet you 1,0000000000000000000000000000000000000 Pounds Diaby plays from the start even though Nasri, Rosicky, My Nan are fit.

  1083. Jaguar says:

FFS,I am sick of seeing that geriatric Silvestre on the bench, when we have a better option in Silvestre. Why cant Mr.Wenger shun his hypocrisy and open his eyes? When will he ever understand that idiotic wankers like Diaby wont win us anything.Diaby/Eboue above Vela?Even the craziest of managers wouldnt do that.

  1084. SUGA3 says:

did I say anything about holding his hand and cuddling him?

no, what my point is that there is a lot of space between this and how he is being treated by Arsene, isn’t there?

fucked up? he got found out against Drogba & Torres in their prime, hardly being the experienced CB…

how many chances? if he gets as many as Diaby did, I’ll be happy…

  1085. reggie57 says:

Hope so luke we really need him

  1086. luke says:

Points that keepers have cost us so far…

    3 at Utd
    2 at West ham.

So…if we had 5 more points then we had today, we would be top of the table with a game in hand I believe. Even though we have something like 40 million to spend, we dont buy a world class keeper, we have a 20 yr old in goal…ofcourse…

  1087. luke says:

Maybe mannone wasnt all to blame today but he sure as fuck opened the door and invited west ham in to the game

  1088. reggie57 says:

today wham had 3 shots on target scored 2 that cant be right can it!!

  1089. Keyser says:

No, there’s not a lot of space, he’s a good defender, one that doesn’t quite fit in to the way we play, and seems to get caught out quite a lot, by anyone with a bit of pace.

It’s nothing against him, but I don’t get when people single out certain players just because it’s the done thing to slate them and then overlook the inadequacies of others.

He’s had plenty of chances, and either he works hard to get another chance, or like he wanted last season he moves on.

Don’t you think Italy would suit him a lot better ?!

  1090. luke says:

didnt that happen at city too reggie?

  1091. luke says:

and at alkmaar? and at utd?

  1092. Stu says:

Everyone was to blame today. They all switched off after the hour mark. I was disgusted when i heard our fans saying “ole”. I bloody knew it was far far too early and would probably bit us in the arse. Oles are for the 85th minute when you are 4-0 up.

Its that attitude that leads to complacency.

  1093. reggie57 says:

Yeah and almunia got credited with a OG as well you couldnt make it up!!

  1094. luke says:

On a positive, A GOOD CROSS FROM SAGNA!!!!!! *does a little dance*

  1095. SUGA3 says:

yes he was, Luke – fucker can’t catch the ball to save his life, even if he does, I cringe, thinking that he will spill it right in front of onrushing striker…

fact is, out of our 3 GKs only Almunia has reasonable ball catching ability – Fabianski is still learning, Mannone is a joke and Szczesny is not even considered, despite being the most talented of them all…

  1096. Keyser says:

patthegooner – If you had that much money to bet with, I doubt you’d give a shit and even if you did, we’d be looking towards your face on tv as you sat in your platinum plated leather armchair high up above the gods of Ashburton Grove.

  1097. Jaguar says:

That wanker Diaby costed us 3 points at Old Toilet and another two points at AZ whatever. Why the fuck does that bastard get the nod ahead of Vela?

  1098. Wrighty7 says:

    Hello all,

I just hope that this serves as a final kick up the arse to this Arsenal side.

We should be relentless for the whole game or we will keep finding ourselves in this position of dropping points.

  1099. reggie57 says:

It seems like anyone has a 1 in 2 chance to put the ball in the back of our net!!

  1100. luke says:

    January-

    Out-Almoonia, Diaby
    In-Matuidi, Julio Cesar, Matuidi/Gourcuff

  1101. leon says:

if everyone realy looked at performaces on for todays gmae instead of looking to have a pop at diaby you find the worst players to today was diaby or eboue or song it was aa and fab they did realy show up particualy aa he did look interested

  1102. Stu says:

Because they play different positions Jaguar…thats why.

  1103. luke says:

I mean, we have the money dont we…

  1104. finestcuts says:

This result must fire us up to beat the Spuds, looking for a big win Saturday.

  1105. Jaguar says:

Vela as a goalkeeper would be better than Diaby anywhere on the pitch, Stu,me think.

  1106. Stu says:

Luke, are we buying Matuidi twice or……..??

  1107. luke says:

Arshavin had no service, he had a good shot on target, and fucked up one cross. Cesc wasnt that bad. Im sorry but when Eboue crosses it into the stands 3 fucking times and Diaby gives away needless free kicks in dangerous areas, and mannone fucked that free kick up, you can hardly blame aa and cesc. I admit they were not amazing but they were not the problem. I think this one is down to team spirit and Wenger being a cunt today

  1108. SUGA3 says:

    Keyser,

I think Phil could do against teams with no lighting paced strikers or indeed in another country – all I’m saying is picking fucking Peanut Head ahead of him is not even good for business (resale value), ffs…

    luke

sorry to piss on your parade, but it was Green’s poor intervention, as this cross was really going nowhere…

  1109. luke says:

    Stu my bad…

  1110. Jaguar says:

I wouldnt be surprised if AA looks least interested,as he he has a useless wanker behind him in the form of Diaby.

  1111. luke says:

Suga- thats arguable. It produced a goal so in my book its a good cross. Green is a solid keeper and sagna put in a ball that he couldnt deal with…Ill take a positive from that.

  1112. Jaguar says:

How many times you need to hear this Mr.Wenger

Drop Diaby and Shitvestre for fuck’s sake. They are shit.

  1113. SUGA3 says:

    Wrighty,

only a hairdryer moment can do right now – they are just a bunch of spoilt brats that need something more than a cold stare…

Wenger is a soft touch, end of…

  1114. finestcuts says:

Arshavin is still fishing for a move to Barcelona, if they bid for him at the right price, he wouldn’t hesitate to leave.

  1115. simon mcmahon says:

well i hope that vela plays a blinder against the bindippers, cause then madrid wil come in for him in jan, wenger will sell for 12 million and then tell us all that he’a FINANCIAL WIZARD.
WELL I’M REALLY Pissed that a potentailly great talent is being spolied by wengers eboue and square peg project.
today our prima donnas showed their arrogance and we paid for it, we must be the only team in the top four that needs to score 3 goals to kill a game off .
    how fucking poor is that

  1116. luke says:

im watching wengers post match conference. I want to hear wtf he says about this game as he really fucked it up.

  1117. SUGA3 says:

luke – if you look at it again, you will see that it was a kind of cross that ends up in keeper’s mitts 99 out of 100 times…

must be the blind hen and a grain thing…

  1118. samirtodd says:

Ramsey must be kicking himself in the balls for joining us…

He chose us over United. We have loads of attacking CM’s.
    United have none near enough.
I’m sure he would be starting many more times for them.

  1119. Stu says:

perfect january would be us comfortable top of the league, still in all comps and

Akinfeev, Yaya and a defender in and Silvestre, Almunia, Diaby and Eboue the midfielder out.

  1120. luke says:

    Classy keeper
    Sagna-gallas-vermy-clichy
    cesc-song-nasri
    Walcott/Rosicky-RVP-Arshavin

    This team can win titles

    Mannone/Almoonia
    Sagna-Gallas-vermy-Clichy
    Cesc-song-Diaby/denilson
    Eboue-RVP-Arshavin

    This team cannot

  1121. Keyser says:

SUGA3 – you’re guessing what the reason is, after the Liverpool game, Senderos was devastated, I’m guessing he said he never wants to play in the league again, or that he wanted a move, how do you give him a game again ? What if he gets injured playing ? Maybe he wants a move in January and Wenger doesn’t want to risk him unless absolutely necessary, Silvestre can play against lesser teams.

Also why are you pissing on peoples parades ?! heh, Sagna crossed the ball into a danger area, someone should be there, Green missed as he was stretching anyway and Van Persie scored.

  1122. Jaguar says:

The boys showed the hunger, desire and passion. At the end of the day,the luck didnt favour us

Mr,Wenger has nothing else to say apart from this pre-recorded verses.Hypocrisy at its best.

  1123. Samir says:

Ramsey must be kicking himself in the balls for joining us…

He chose us over United. We have loads of attacking CM’s.
    United have none near enough.
I’m sure he would be starting many more times for them.

  1124. SUGA3 says:

thing is we got found out against shit teams thanks to arrogant approach last season and we have learnt fuck all, haven’t we?

    and who is to blame?

  1125. luke says:

    January

    -Almoonia, Diaby out.
-De Rossi, Julio Cesar, Subotic in.

That would be a good month
Eboue is a good squad player. Wenger uses him wrong

  1126. luke says:

All I can say is that the boys come out against pool and spuds looking like they did against everton. Confident but not cocky, and determined, and sharp. We looked like lazy clueless clumsy idiots against alkmaar and WHU

  1127. Jaguar says:

And if Song gets booked before the match against Chelsea,we would be screwed, much to the mean methods of our coach Mr.Wenger.

  1128. SUGA3 says:

Julio Cesar – yep, that would be a good buy, but I just can’t see Maureen letting him go…

  1129. Stu says:

Eboue isnt a god squad player. He is a good right back…thats all.

Song is an idiot for not getting booked today. Now whenever he next gets booked he will be banned for a prem game instead of the CC.

  1130. luke says:

It would be cool though..more realistically, Kameni is a great keeper for espanyol, Akinfeev would be an improvement, I rate the mexican keeper Ochoa, Im told Krul is good for Newcastle. Really, all of these are improvements.

  1131. Stu says:

Cesar would cost at least 20m. Wenger would never spend that on anyone…let alone a keeper.

  1132. Stu says:

Krul is only about 20. That would be crazy buying him for first choice.

  1133. leon says:

sorry luke bast on todays performance only diaby played better than aa he did show up,and yes not just aa cesc were proble, but toomany players were flat today and did have that zip about them

  1134. luke says:

Stu- I dont know about Krul, someone on here told me hed be a good option. Either Kameni, Akinfeev, or maybe Ochoa would be an improvement though

  1135. Jaguar says:

Wenger would spend 20m,if some one tells him that Akinfeev is a 12 year old French goal keeper touted to be the next big thing in football.

After moaning about the impact of recession in football,he bought a 16 year old GK for £1.5m(as if we had a shortage of Gk).What a fucking hypocrisy!

  1136. SUGA3 says:

obviously, Alan fucking Hansen is on MOTD2 – thought he was supposed to do MOTD on Saturdays?

wonder if he would be on today if the Dippers lost…

  1137. luke says:

Agreed Leon. The whole team today looked flat. I dont blame eboue as he is just doing what Wenger tells him to no matter how ineffective. I thought AA looked dangerous with the ball but he only had the ball about 3 times in a dangerous area. Diaby looked like he usually does. I just dont see how he helps us. I see how he hurts us though…Nasri broken leg, utd own goal, giving away possession, giving away needless free kicks…one of which resulted in WHU’s goal, I know Mannone should have delt with it better, but giving away the free kick in the first place was utterly retarted

  1138. luke says:

Wenger would spend 20m,if some one tells him that Akinfeev is a 12 year old French goal keeper touted to be the next big thing in football.

    ————-

    hahah so true

  1139. Stu says:

I dont rate Kameni much either. Espanyol are a relegation regular team. We need an international class keeper used to playing for a big club..

  1140. Jaguar says:

Diaby wouldnt last five minutes under the Rednose or Maureen.

  1141. luke says:

Kameni is African so thats a start!

  1142. luke says:

Okay then Stu, either akinfeev or ochoa and im happy.

  1143. SUGA3 says:

    second that, Jag…

  1144. luke says:

We should trade diaby for either matuidi or gourcuff and some money. The french rate diaby for some reason

  1145. Samir says:

    The team we should have:

    _______Akinfeev_________
    Sagna–Gallas–Vermy–Clichy
    __________De Rossi__________
    ____Rosicky—-Fabregas_____
    Bendtner–RVP–Arshavin

    Akinfeev-12M
    De Rossi-18-25M

    That would win us loads.
    Whilst still having:
    Nasri,Eduardo,Walcott,Vela etc etc as options…

  1146. SUGA3 says:

Diaby could do well in Ligue 1, IMO…

he would probably get to play in his preferred position too…

  1147. nn says:

diaby song almunia-manone eboue. wont win anything with them in ur team. simple

  1148. luke says:

    Samir what about

    Akinfeev
    Sagna-gallas-vermy-clichy
    Cesc-De Rossi-Nasri
    Rosicky-Rvp-Arshavin

Subs- Fabianski, Gibbs, Shitvestre, Walcott, Eduardo, Ramsey, Song

  1149. Stu says:

We should go allout to buy the Igors in the winter. Akinfeev and Denisov…any others?

  1150. SUGA3 says:

what a fucking dive by Cole that was…

    cunt…

  1151. luke says:

Its too bad roma wont part with de rossi and/or wenger wont spend that much. Great player.

  1152. Jaguar says:

    Matuidi is rated at £15m.
So Diaby(-20m)+ £35 m would do the trick,if St.Etienne is ready to have a useless lump in their reserves.

  1153. Stu says:

If De Rossi left Roma then the fans would hunt him down and kill him.

  1154. luke says:

    hahahahahahah jaguar

  1155. SUGA3 says:

‘criminal from Arsenal’s point of view’

    Keown you fucking legend…

  1156. Samir says:

    Luke, very nice……
Why the hell didn’t Wenger spend that 40 odd million he had in his pocket??

I would have to have Bendy in there, or at least on the bench. He’s just starting to shine.
    That team could win everything!
    Two players could do it.
    Everyone sees it.
    We see it.
    Even Arshavin sees it.
    Why does Wenger not??

  1157. luke says:

someone should make a Diaby pamphlet mimicking the adebayor one.

    For your club, Diaby will:
-Head in own goals to your biggest rivals
-Give away free kicks for funsies!
    - Give away possession for more funsies
    - Hurt your brightest stars in training!

  1158. Stu says:

15m for Matuidi? He is worth 10m at the very maximum.

We should defo give Diaby to a french club tho. He would suit the play over there…really slow.

  1159. Jaguar says:

    You didnt get the sarcasm,Stu

  1160. Samir says:

Ye De Rossi would never leave. Great player however.
I’m sure there’s someone out there as good.
Inler maybe, or someone like that….

  1161. luke says:

I would be so happy with trading diaby and some cash for either Matuidi, Gourcuff, Toulalan

  1162. Stu says:

    Obviously i didnt Jaguar.

  1163. stonroy says:

What about Sebastien Frey, he’s a good goalkeeper.

  1164. luke says:

Man wenger is frustrating me. I respect a man who sticks to his philosophies and principles, but when it obviously doesnt work as we havnt won fuck all in years, I do not respect a man who does not learn a lesson

  1165. Stu says:

I would swap Diaby and Eboue for Gourcuff.

We need to sort out the right back slot too. We have one right back who can only defend and one who can only attack.

  1166. stonroy says:

I spoke to a scout from France and he says that Gourcuff will be better than Zidane.

  1167. luke says:

What about that RB we were linked with. Van der something. Is he at Ajax? Van der miel… He is over 6 feet too. Adds some height

  1168. Jaguar says:

I rated Diaby as -£20m worth player.I reckon its too high a value for him.

  1169. Samir says:

    Luke, Toulalan is the one.
Great player he is. I’m sure he would leave and Lyon would be willing to sell at the right price as-well.
Please Wenger, he is French so……

  1170. stonroy says:

Luke that van der wiel fella isn’t that tall mate

  1171. Stu says:

Thats not really sarcasm tho…is it?

Luke, Van Der Wiel was only at right back because he was too shit to play in the middle and he did well there. I dont know anything else about him tho…

  1172. luke says:

Hmm, I read in one of the articles linking him with us he was 6 ft 1, Wiki has him at 5 11 though.

  1173. Jaguar says:

May be its not sarcasm, but reality.

Whatever,we need to get rid of Diaby,ASAP.

  1174. Stu says:

Its not like we ever play Barazite so its not like he is going to be missed or anything.

  1175. luke says:

    Gourcuff or toulalan…

  1176. Keyser says:

Bentdner ans Senderos should be enough for Gourcuff, add a few million and we ger Chamakh too.

  1177. leon says:

i think diaby would be best suited much higher up pitch but wenger persisting in playing in a deeper role which untilhe improve his passing he will continue inconsistant performances but at 23-24 had ton of injuries lets not forgett this first time he has realy played injury free way way way to early make these kind judgements.to wengers defence i dont think edwardo was fully fit niether him or edwardo and wenger realy did not want risk either one of them

  1178. Samir says:

    Im off onto Fifa 10…..
    Anyone want a game PS3?
    Add me kila-arsenal

  1179. luke says:

    why not vela then?

  1180. SUGA3 says:

    leon,

are you Diaby in disguise? he is not good enough, we are Arsenal FC, not Diaby-school-or-hospital FC…

we have more younger and more gifted players that are worth nurturing rather that this twat – he is 24 y.o., he should be nearing his prime and he is simply crap…

  1181. luke says:

keyser, I dont know if bordeaux would settle for losing their best 2 players for senderos and bendtner and a couple million…I wish though.

  1182. SUGA3 says:

OK fuck slating individual players – team’s attitude as a whole was shit and that is a fact…

taking foot off the gas is a daft thing to do and we had a fair share of lessons in that subject, didn’t we?

plus, with the league being the tightest for a few years, the goal difference may prove decisive in May, so why the fuck not go and score 2 more goals?

  1183. leon says:

suga he may be inconstsant but he is not crap

  1184. luke says:

especially with chelski nicking 5 yesterday

  1185. luke says:

weve been through this with diaby. He is average 3 games, crap 3 games, then has 1 good game and then repeats

  1186. SUGA3 says:

leon, inconsistent equals crap when you happen to play for a team with aspirations, besides, 1 poor game in 5 is inconsistent, 1 good game in 5 is crap…

  1187. Stu says:

I would rather just Gourcuff and leave Chamakh where he is. Useless footballer.

  1188. simon mcmahon says:

so will the team against the bindippers beas follows
    fabianski
    gilbert, silvestre, Senderos, gibbs
    wilshere, ramsey, nasri, troare,
    vela , bendtner ,

    the team for the spuds
    almunia,
    sagna, vermmalean , gallas, clichy,
    song
    nasri fabregas
rosicky , van persie , arshavin

  1189. SUGA3 says:

Nasri won’t start against Spuds, more Diaby for us I’m afraid…

  1190. luke says:

Yea nasri wont start 2 games in 4 days after returning from injury. Why not start ramsey over diaby?

  1191. SUGA3 says:

    OK Gooners, I’m offski ;)

  1192. Stu says:

4-4-2 simon? Never gonna happen. Coquelin will probably be in there too…and no Traore.

  1193. luke says:

I think the pool team will be stronger. Wenger says it will be mixed with the boys and the men

  1194. luke says:

    night suga

  1195. leon says:

    simon i would rather see

    fab
    gilbert silvest senderos
    couquin
    watt rambo
    wiltshire vela nikki

  1196. luke says:

I hope diaby starts for pool and not spuds

  1197. luke says:

    10 men leon…interesting idea

  1198. SUGA3 says:

Pool will come to tear us a new one – it is the ‘we can still win this and you can’t’ thing that will arise from the result, it will give them winners some psychological edge and we are yet to play them in the league…

  1199. Stu says:

    Fab
    Eboue Senderos Silvestre (reluctantly) Gibbs
    Coquelin Ramsey
    Nasri
    Wilshere Bendtner Vela

Thats what we should go for. Get Fab more game time before the spud match.

  1200. SUGA3 says:

this time I’m really off

  1201. luke says:

I think pool will have to put out a pretty weak eleven with the matches they have had

  1202. Stu says:

    night suga…

  1203. luke says:

I think even shitvestre and senderos can handle babel and ngog

  1204. gnarleygeorge9 says:

When Rosicky plays. The Arsenal look world beaters. When he doesn’t…………..

I have had a kip & feel refreshed, & for the life of me I still can’t see why Eboue is played in that midfield role with Diaby. The really good players in the team, like Rosicky, make them look good, but when the team has to rely on eboue & diaby alone for inspiration, they are not up to it. That means no trophys. Its simple really, rid the team of these type of players, they are keeping a really, really good player out.

  1205. leon says:

i think he a few options there he can watt, nasri, barasite, merida, troare sowenger has got few options there alot young players comming trough and need to given a chance,i think the fact is for this game niether bretna or edwardo were fully fit thats reason he did not bring them sooner wenger already stated that they were 50/50 and edwardo had been out for 2-3 weeks

  1206. Stu says:

Exactly..too many weak players makes us look shit. We are jusr getting used to having Song as a starter and now Diaby and EBoue are playing most of the games. It too many average in one place.

  1207. Jay says:

    I agree GG9. Rosicky is so class…
He allows Fab and AA to play their a-game.
Thank God Nasri is back for the spurs..
i’d hate to see what the result would be with Diabi and Eboue in there.

  1208. luke says:

Why not vela though? Thats what gets me. Vela is better at Right forward then eboue any day of the week

  1209. luke says:

jay, dont think nasri will be starting for spuds. Wenger has said he will start against pool and I doubt he will play twice in 4 days after his injury…

  1210. nn says:

arrogance by this team today was a disgrace. win something first u prima donnas. they should apoligise to the fans

  1211. luke says:

Wenger put out a shitty eleven, the shitty eleven didnt do good, wenger didnt make good subs. I hold everyone accountable. Thought sagna and vermy were good today

  1212. leon says:

luke we have only glimses of vela we realy dont if he can play week in/out so we realy dont know he perform on a consistant basis

  1213. Stu says:

Yeah todays team was a slap in the face. After watching 90minutes of boring football against AZ Wenger decided to put out the exact same team and it happened all over again.

I mean the football was much better but the same problems were there.

  1214. Stu says:

Its not about week in week out leon. He isnt being used at all apart from the carling cup games and there arent enoug of those a season to give Vela enough playing time to improve at a rate at which he should.

Youngsters need games to get better and Vela isnt getting the time that he deserves.

  1215. leon says:

stu i would have agree with that it be nice see play at 45 minutes a few times but its only october and he has been injured i think wenger play him, which is why i think wenger should put merida on laoan in jan

  1216. Stu says:

He hasnt been injured the whole time tho. He doesnt even make it off the bench so its not like there is no way of playing him. He is there but just not being used.

  1217. Jay says:

Leon…I would play him a half at the pool…

We need a mid of cesc nas and song..

    eddy, vp, arsh up top..

    vela and bendy on bench.

  1218. luke says:

Leon, I agree Vela isnt proven. But frankly, Wilshire would have been better then eboue. Eboue adds absolutely nothing attack wise. We are arsenal, we play attacking football, and when we in essence start 5 defenders, it isnt going to work…period. Not to mention Diaby…

  1219. Stu says:

6 defenders if you count Song too luke.

  1220. leon says:

luke i dont agree the onlything wroung with eboue is crossing but he goes past players realy well he is very good utility player he plays wb lb lwing and right wing evon dm player at times

  1221. luke says:

Good point Stu. I just dont think we will win games with such a negative starting eleven. We win by scoring more than the other team and we need to accept that. Frankly, I dont think we can hold down tight games consistently so lets try and score 4. Atleast in the past couple of games when we conceded it hasnt been because we got caught on a counter. I mean, it hasnt been a consequence of attacking football, so I dont see why we wont push on and try and score more after 2-0…

  1222. luke says:

Leon, he goes past players very well only to cross the ball into the stands and disrupt an attacking rhythm…He also cant finish…All he can do is go past players here and there. Not the best passer. He is out of position period. I rate eboue as a right back though dont get me wrong. I dont assign fault to eboue, I assign it to wenger for playing eboue out of position

  1223. Stu says:

Leon, Eboue is a good marauding right back. Other than that he is pants. He can run past players but has absolutely end product. He plays a lot of positions but isnt versatile because to be versatile he would have to play reasonably well in those other positions.

He has a good cross and is decent at 1-2s but thats basically it imo.

  1224. Keyser says:

Why do people perpetuate this rubbish, Vela had 10 starts last year and came off the bench a further 19 times, he’s been injured this season a fair bit, or been off on International Duty.

I don’t get why people pull up this bullshit about Eboue or Diaby taking his place, unless they want him to play as a midfielder or on the right hand side of it when he hasn’t really shown any consistentcy when we’ve actually needed him to.

Vela should play against Liverpool, aswell as Merida, if they do well they’ll get to play again and soon, if they don’t or don’t give enough in training they won’t.

If they do play, unless their personal favourties of the muppets making the comments, and they don’t have good games, they’re going to get slated and people will start writing them off.

  1225. Stu says:

I think crossing is one of Ebowies best attributes tbh. First time crosses that is because he seems to do worse the more touches he has.

  1226. Keyser says:

Whats Bendtner good at Stuvid ?!

  1227. Stu says:

    Im not answering that Keyser.

  1228. luke says:

Keyser, you would rather see a front three of

    Ebway-RVP-Arshavin over

    Vela-RVP-Arshavin?

1229. [...] I’m forever blowing bubbles, Hmmmm, what a strange song to sing. I wouldn’t ever admit to blowing anything, let alone singing about it, but that’s West Ham for you, today [...] [...]

  1230. ethangunner says:

i rest my case wengers team selections fuck us over again …

and im saying this to the plonkers who actually believe we have a chance this season …

do you really think we can afford to throw 2 points out the window V’s a team like WHU and still be worthy winners ?

also ‘A’ nice team selections last weekend :)
is vito still in goal ? hmmm ?

rosicky didnt start this week so .. close… but no cigar …

  1231. leon says:

luke he is always creating something causing problems for defences wwith his runs and as for today he played better tha aa alot better is passing let him down but he worked realy hard but he is squad player and very good one,it remains to seen if vela it would do a better job than at this point in time but vela just be played more often

  1232. luke says:

On eboue vs vela. We know what were getting with Eboue as a forward…nothing, we dont know what were getting with vela. I would take a mysters over guaranteed shit.

  1233. Keyser says:

    I’d rather see a front 3 of Rosicky – Van Persie/ Eduardo – Arshavin.

With a bench of Vela, Walcott and so on, Vela’s barely played, not because of poor selction but because he’s been injured and been asked to play for his country injured.

Last season we rushed players back, and I’m not sure if thats the case with Vela, but we need consistency more than anything else IMO, we need to ease these players back in and hopefully string a few games together with some cohesion. Getting them fit in the process.

I’m glad we didn’t use Nasri, though I hope he gets a game in the Carling Cup.

  1234. luke says:

    mystery*

  1235. Keyser says:

Stu – Sorry shouldn’t really pick on you.

  1236. luke says:

vela has looked good in champions league. Better then eboue atleast

  1237. ethangunner says:

    luke

dudu was on the sub bench next to nasri ?
id of preferred they started ..win it …
    sub em ‘ out .

RVP dudu AA – STARTING .. or vela ! yeah ..
your not going to win anything with eboue diaby song .. they bring the teams high profile down .

stupid team selections from the talent mizer ,

    Mr wenger ..

most managers put the shit players on for the last 10 minutes … not the talented ones.

take each game as it comes and play your best
    11 ..

not use the west ham match as a 1st team experience builder to all your less talented players .

  1238. Keyser says:

He looked busy, he didn’t really do much just ran around, he could’nt even be arsed to run back to stay onside and gave away a free-kick, I don’t think thats particularly bad because we should’ve defended better anyway.

Though if that was Ebway or Adebayor last season, there would’ve been the usual muppets saying it’s a lack of brain cells, actually they would’ve completely spazzed out..

  1239. leon says:

the simple fact is vela is striker and unproven one and at moment we have edawrdo, rvp, bretna, thoe and vela, and at least 3 strikers are ahead of him i dont see him as midfielder at all may be winger/striker

  1240. Stu says:

Just saw that U2 are playing a concert on youtube or whatever. What the fuck is that about. FUcking bastard Bono thinking he is so great….

  1241. luke says:

I would have much preferred edwardo but I think wenger is still nervous about starting him coming off his injury. Thats the only reason i was pushing for vela

  1242. luke says:

I was only pushing for a vela start today because I think the only reason nikki/edwardo didnt start was because they were coming off injuries. Im saying if Wenger didnt want to use Nikki or edwardo out of injury fear, then use vela not ebway. Im sayign vela is a better option then ebway, not edwardo, rosicky, walcott, or bendtner…

  1243. Keyser says:

luke – Honestly we should’ve won that game and the one in mid-week, either we’re going to need all of our top players completely fit and ready to go, or we’re going to have to work through games like that, where we’re compltely cruising and try to see them out.

  1244. zeus says:

That was a harsh criticism of Vela. You can hardly say he got many chances last year when firstly, it was his debut season in England, and secondly, the entire team played shit the entire year.

He has hardly been given any playing time with a strong creative unit behind him, only getting playing time with Denilson, Diaby, Eboue and Song. Hardly the kind of servicemen that leave strikers salivating.

I will agree that he has hardly set the place a fire when he was given opportunities outside of the CC, but when he was given these opportunities it was with subs with 3-5 mins remaining or when the team had nothing left to play for cuz we were dumped out of all competitions. I am from the CONCACAF region so I see my fair share of Mexico play and it seems to me that if he can perform for his country and have millions put their hopes on him (and others of course) and he excels, then he can do the same for Arsenal.

This boy has more talent than Walcott (though Walcott offers something different) and Walcott plays almost every game he is fit.

What i want is TO HAVE NO EXCUSES. Lets win, lose or draw with the best players we have for each game instead of having the same argument; Denilson, Diaby, Song, Eboue, Bendtner did(n’t) this, that and blah blah blah.

  1245. Stu says:

The left wing would be perfect for Vela right now. Not really mature enough for the middle and he doesnt seem to defend an awful lot. So left wing where he isnt crowded and doesnt have to defend too much is right for him. Like Theo on the right.

I just hope he plays against liverpool. Bendtner in the middle and Wilshere on the right.

Not sure where Nasri will play tho. Ramsey will surely start and maybe Merida but you have to assume Coquelin as the only DM will start too. Wenger needs to earn his money with this tough team selection.

  1246. luke says:

    agreed.

  1247. Keyser says:

Luke – Vela on the right ? We had Arshavin, Van Persie and Fabregas, just like mid-week, Arshavin had Vela’s place.

Those players should be able to see out the game, either we learn to do that or we’re going to need everyone fit for the rest of the season.

  1248. zeus says:

Wenger ‘the lesson from today is to kill teams off.’

What the fuck was the lessen from midweek.

  1249. luke says:

I think you guys are misunderstanding me. All im saying is, from todays eleven, I would rather see Vela in Ebways place. Ofcourse RVP, fab, aa, should be able to maintain a 2-0 lead. Im not disputing that. Im just saying, Ebway should not be used anywhere except right back.

  1250. ethangunner says:

vela or jack both have more than enough talent to be worth more than the likes of eboue and diaby .

    why play them ?
if we know wenger wont spend at least play YOUR BEST!!!
cut all this DOWN TIME OUT trying to bring up players which so obviously will not make it as a regular star here ! and motor forward to a time where all the talent clicks .

then i agree with wenger that its only a matter of time ..

with lesser players in the team its not a matter of ‘when’ its a matter of IF !

  1251. Stu says:

Vela for EBoue wouldnt have to be like for like. We could just move Arshavin over and hav Vela on the left.

When trying to see out a game we either need someone to score the killer goal or someone to hold onto possession and Eboue is neither of the two. Not playing Eboue doe conceding late goals but you get the point.

  1252. leon says:

    stu

i think wenger has been very good with selections but also has very protevive of the players and not rushing them back which he was guity of last season, vela has been international duty alot plus he has been injured a bit too should not rushed he know his players hell of alot more than we do

  1253. Stu says:

Thats all true leon but even when Vela has been on the bench Wenger still hasnt played him much. If he isnt fit enough to come on then why have him on the bench.

  1254. Keyser says:

zeus – I like Vela, I wouldn’t compare him to Walcott, if Walcott is bale to harness his pace and keep control at the same time he’ll be as devastating as Henry, maybe not as good, but we’ll have something deadly.

Same with Vela, it was his debut season last year and I don’t hold it against him, but I don’t want any of the players rushed in, I hoped for once we’d be able to use them from a position of strength.

They should’ve had a run out yesterday, but I’m guessing Wenger wanted to see out this game, so that the first team has a rest mid-week and we can see Vela and the rest of the kids on Tuesday/ Wednesday ?!

Luke – Vela should play mid-week, I don’t think Ebways that bad there, Vela hasn’t got used to playing on the left, playing him on the right in a new formation, I’d rather he was fresh for Liverpool.

If we’d had Walcott fit or trying to regain fitness, Vela and Walcott would have great to have mid-week.

  1255. luke says:

I think wilshire would have done better than ebway today too if vela needed more time…

  1256. Ruler says:

I’m extremely disapointed with the result today, West Ham were so poor and we were cruising at one point, ridiculous ref decsion regarding the freekick, it pissed me off before the goal went in and even more so after, but the penalty was probably a fair penalty but it was a stupid place to make that tackle, it was unneccessary, I’m really upset about this match cause we could of made up so many points and had the potential to go top had we won our games in hand, I’m just bitterly disapointed, we should have finished the game off, I wouldn’t of picked Eboue today, I would of liked to of seen Bendtner start instead…. I feel we need a victory over a team like Chelsea now to give us leverage back.

Saw some messages insulting Diaby, don’t know why… he had a good game, Song did to to be honest but that decsion at the end was very poor and costly…..

I hope we bounce back strong.

  1257. luke says:

someone summed diaby up well. He had a good game for his standards, for arsenal standards or other cm standards, he was not good enough and rarely is.

  1258. Ruler says:

People insulting Diaby today obviously don’t watch football properly, he had a good game, he won some good balls, looked sharp and was involved in one of the goals, stop mindlessly scapgoating players, childish.

  1259. Keyser says:

I don’t blame Vela or anyone else, Fabregas was able to learn from a stable team full of experience and World Class stars.

We need to build that up again, and when the younger players need to come in, unless they’ve got a few games under their belt, they need to have as much experience in the side to help them along as possible.

Moving players around just to accomdate a younger, albeit talented player, is pointless.

We’ve had 14 games this year I think, Vela came back late from the Internationals missed I think the first month and then was injured, he’s been off on International duty again, and he’s only sat on the bench a couple of times when he’s actually been available.

Even then I wouldn’t start him ahead of Arshavin or Rosicky anyway.

  1260. luke says:

    Ruler Says:

People insulting Diaby today obviously don’t watch football properly, he had a good game, he won some good balls, looked sharp and was involved in one of the goals, stop mindlessly scapgoating players, childish.
    ————————————————–

No one is blaming diaby for the result. He gave away several needless free kicks in dangerous areas, one of which resulted in the first west ham goal which was the beginning of our decline. He gives away possession much to often and disrupts our passing rhythm. He also takes too many touches and either drives in and loses the ball of just passes to fabregas. Waste of space if you ask me, especially for an ambitious team like arsenal…

  1261. Ruler says:

Diaby has been playing Arsenal standard, we should of won the game today, we didn’t due to not finishing the game off and a very poor ref decsion.

  1262. zeus says:

I think Diaby’s biggest problem is his inability to not tackle cleanly and thus he gives away his away his fair share of freekicks in VERY dangerous areas.

Mannone made a huge mistake today but Diaby gave away a needless foul that brought about the freekick.
Needless to say he is not the onlyone with this problem, Denilson is the same as well. I rate Denilson higher than Diaby though as he brings more to the game than the Frenchman.

  1263. Ruler says:

That first comment wasn’t directed at you, people were linking the result to Diaby though, and he that wasn’t a free kick, the player ran into him deliberatly to try and get the free kick, he may of even pulled Diaby down to get it and make it look like a foul, he also was involved in the goal, he hasn’t always been good this season, had some very poor games, but in the last 3 or 4 he has been execellent and one of our best players in the team, he can’t be a waste of space since he was involved in the goal which he was, he looked very sharp today and has had great improvemnt recently.

  1264. Keyser says:

zeus – It wasn’t a foul, simple as that, there is no way that was a foul, the ref fucked up, if anything it should’ve been a foul on Diaby.

  1265. Ruler says:

Mannonne could of done better with the goal and Song made a stupid challenge, if we had to blame anyone today it would be Song, but I wouldn’t even blame him cause I think he had a pretty good game too buthe just made a needless decsion which cost us today.

  1266. luke says:

How was he involved in the goal exactly? The first one sagna crossed, green missed, and rvp scored. Second was a gallas header. He was involved with west hams goal as he gave up the free kick. He seems more likely to score own goals this season then he does goals. He almost put another in at alkmaar that was a similar situation to the utd own goal.

  1267. Stu says:

Diaby wasnt awful today. It wasnt really a foul by him. Stupid foul to give away but it was Mannones fault for palming the ball back into play instead of our for a corner. And the penalty was harsh aswell.

They scored a free kick and a penalty. If only we were clinical like that. 3 fucking shots! Its just not fair.

  1268. Ruler says:

Exactly Keyser, I was going absoloutely mad when that foul was given against Diaby because iaby was fouled, it infuriated me, I knew people would pick it out to scapegoat Diaby too when HE was fouled, it was a ridicuous and abysmal ref decsion that changed the game completly.

  1269. Ruler says:

Luke did you watch the game? Who did the link up play with Sagna for the cross? Also he won tackles this game, he worked very hard, rarely gave away the ball and made great offensive runs and was involved in link up play.

  1270. Keyser says:

luke – He was fouled, the ref fucked up, against Alkmaar it wasn’t exactly his fault that the ball flew at him off Van Persie head, in fact he did well to get it up and over the bar.

    This is just simple scapegoating.

Stu – 3 shots ? What do you mean ?!

  1271. zeus says:

    Found this on another blog….

“bemoaning players like Diaby, Mannone and even Arshavin – he didn’t have his best game but picking on a player of his class is nigh on stupidity.”, this isn’t the first time Arshavin has been a disappointment, no one should be absolved of criticism based on former performances, he may be a big name player, he needs to play like one or we will forget some of his performanceslast season , enough of treating stars like gods when they don’t back it up, week after week. They have the ability, now show us all the time, no messing about.

    Couldn’t agree more.

  1272. Stu says:

Diaby played a 1-2 with Sagna before he crossed. Thats how he was involved.

Diaby wasnt bad today but he wasnt that good either and we need better players than him..regardless of him being a back up. He wants to be first choice so he should be playing better.

  1273. Stu says:

West Ham had 3 shots apparently Keyser. 2 goals from 3 shots is what i heard. Not sure tho but it wouldnt suprise me.

  1274. luke says:

Ruler, just watched the highlight. All diaby did was hit pass it to sagna. It was a simple 1-2 pass. Nothing extraordinary. Good cross by sagna though. Diaby was mediocre today as he usually is. I can hardly see how someone thought he had a good game today.

  1275. Stu says:

Someone said Ibrahimovic scored an amazing free kick. Having just seen it i now beg to differ. It was right at the keeper but just had an amazing amount of power in the shot. Should have been saved imo.

  1276. Keyser says:

Stu – Well said, I hope you apply that to all players.

Just checked the shots on and off target, West Ham had 15 or 16 attemtps depending on where you read and 9 or 10 on target.

  1277. Stu says:

luke, Sagnas cross wasnt good. Green palmed it right onto Van Persies left foot for a tap in. Diabys pass was better than Sagnas cross.

Fuck sake i cant believe im actually sticking up for Diaby.

  1278. luke says:

    makes two of us…

  1279. luke says:

okay if sagna doesnt get credit for the goal diaby cant either. it was a simple 1-2 pass. Blame it on green then.

  1280. Keyser says:

Stu – Did you watch the game ? Watch the build up and listen for the fans with their drums, it builds to a crescendo and when he hits the ball, it’s like a bullets just been fired, they must’ve had a mike in the ball or something or turned the background sound up.

Goalie should’ve saved it, because he could’ve had both his hands behind that, but for the distance it was one powerful shot.

  1281. Ruler says:

No, it wasn’t anything spectactular, but he was involved, you said he was a waste of space, if he was just a “space” he wouldn’t of supplied the pass, true it wasn’t spectacular but he timed the pass well and placed it in exactly the right place, Diaby had an excellent run today too, he did a lot of good things, I watched his game very closely and he was far from medicore today, I’m sure the stats would back that up too, I’m neutral so I just speak honestly, Diaby had some really poor games this season, he gave the ball away needlessly and held on for too long, in recent games he’s REALLY improved that a hell of a lot, I feel he deserves credit for that.

  1282. Stu says:

No Keyser, all my sports channels are gone…not that i would have watched it if i could have.

It was an almighty shot tho..i’ll give major credit for that. Still doesnt excuse the weak goalkeeping tho.

  1283. luke says:

dont the stats also say that either denilson makes more tackles then essein? Maybe it was diaby actually. Either way, id take essein to diaby or denilson any day.

  1284. Ruler says:

Also he could of easily fucked it up, players often mess up the simple passes, and Diaby in the past has been guilty of this too, but today he did what he was supposed to in that aspect and was a valuable asset, in terms of selection the main change I would of had is Eboue for a more offensive player, I have nothing against Eboue but today I think a Bendnter type player would have been better,

  1285. luke says:

Arsenal players do not mess up simple passes. Diaby is a fine cm, just I have higher expectations at a team like arsenal. I would love to trade diaby and some cash for either toulalan or gourcuff.

  1286. luke says:

anyways im off. keep the faith.

  1287. Ruler says:

It was Diaby and there not false stats, he actually does make a lot of tackles somtimes, today he won some important tackles, and I bet his running stats were excellent today too, his work rate for the most part was first rate, he’s really improving and getting where he should be, he played his part today, others let the team down, but he has no right to complain either cause he’s done it in the past too, like the Man U game, but credit where credit is due, he worked hard and put in a solid performance, I hope he keeps it up an further improves.

  1288. Ruler says:

Peace luke, let’s hope we bounce back as we all still Arsenal fans and wish the best for the team irrespective of different perspectives regarding some team issues.

  1289. Ruler says:

Last point you made though wasn’t true, Arshavin has messed up quite a few simple passes recenty.

  1290. Ja_Gunner says:

For the CC I would start this team…

    ………………Almunia…………………..

    Eboue/Gilbert…….Sendy……..Sylvest……..Gibbs

    ………………….Coquelin……………………..

    ..Ramsey…………………………………Merida

    ..Wilshere……………Vela…………….Nasri

I would have Bendy in reserve…..I would also want to give
Watt and Sunu a run out….maybe Randall as well.

Thats why I love le grove. Respect ruler

  1292. AA23 says:

Ruler Fair play defending Diaby. But you are wrong about him, he’s a rubbish player and an absolute liability I blame him for losing us games and points.
    He can fuck off.

  1293. luke says:

he played good against portsmouth and has had flashes here and there but overall I dont rate him for arsenal. I would love to trade him +$ to either lyon or bordeaux for either jeremy toulalan or gourcuff

  1294. AA23 says:

Luke I would trade him for a can of coke.

  1295. nishanth says:

Still can’t believe that we blew a 2 goal lead.I know diaby and eboue are crap but thought that we could alteast get away with it against west ham.

  1296. nishanth says:

For most of the teams the second goal is the killer goal.Very different in our case

  1297. Emperor Gooner says:

lol…why do i see a few of u still defending diaby??

there’s a reason why everyone criticizes him….he’s a waste and that is it

  1298. nishanth says:

I just hope we bloody sell eboue.Problem solved.Go buy a young cheap french attacking RB.As long as eboue is there in the squad he will continue to get chances.

  1299. luke says:

    coke is pretty tasty…ahahahah

nis , you and wenger think alike then !
my point all along is play your quality players today !
    get the 3 points ..

2 easy points have gone astray ,
the points table is tight and those 2 points could have really put us close to the top of the pile !

due to ongoing inconsistencies we have still to be alarmed ….

    ………………Almunia…………………..

    Gilbert…….Sendy……..Sylvest……..Gibbs

    ………………….Coquelin……………………..

    ..Ramsey…………………………………nasri

    ..Wilshere……………eduardo……………vela

i think team will be like that..

  1302. gooby says:

    mooooooooooorning grovers

1303. we need dudu for spurs game …

we can start with bendtner in carling cup game

  1304. Franchise says:

    Morning guys

  1305. nishanth says:

That is not what i meant ethan. These guys are proffesional footballers.Defending a 2 goal lead is something they should do.Players far less talented than ours wouldn’t let a 2 goal lead slip away.

  1306. gazzap says:

You can blame Eboue and Diaby, and god knows I do, but who puts them on the pitch when he has the strongest bench available ever? Wenger.

we limped to 60 mins and we were still 2-0 up. the tide started turning. we couldn’t keep the ball. that game started to get away from us even before they scored the first one.
why didn’t wenger do something? you could see he looked frustrated but he left the same team on. Diaby and Eboue should have been off.

If Diaby and Eboue are playing badly then its up to wenger to act. Diaby was like a fucking statue after 60 minutes. It was pathetic, and we have been like this for years now. since vieira left.

  1307. nishanth says:

Nasri and rosicky need to stay fit all the time.If they get injured instead of bring ramsey, vela or wilshere he will bring eboue and diaby

  1308. Dennisdamenace says:

Nish – do you really believe AW will forsake his chosen few by playing Rosicky and Nasri in front of Diaby & Wboue???

  1309. gazzap says:

I feel like that as well. if Nasri and Rosicky and others are fit, I still expect wenger to play Eboue and Diaby. thats why Arsenal wont win anything and its also why I wont be holding wenger back when he decides to leave us one day. He is far from perfect.

  1310. B.B.K. says:

    the whole team needs sacking

  1311. B.B.K. says:

nothing short of disgusting the way they threw away that lead yesterday

  1312. nishanth says:

We clearly lack leadership.Eboue kept trying to get past his man instead of just simply passing it.Someone should have fucking screamed at him.

  1313. B.B.K. says:

mannone needs to fuck off and so does song, there not fit to wear the shirt

  1314. gooner-pak says:

blessing in disguise.. i was not able to watch game because of load shedding!!!!

  1315. gazzap says:

Mannone will NEVER be good enough. people talk about being young. what is he 21? should not be making basic errors at that age. I rate that young polish guy far higher already and he is only 18.

Fabianski has hardly had his chance but people seem to writing him off too early. I have seen far more in him than any of our other keepers.

  1316. iceman says:

Mannone fucks off to be replaced by who?
I’d have Mannone over Almuia anyday!!

  1317. Pedro says:

    New post!
