No of course it hasn’t, I like Vermaelen, I think he’s Keownesque but he couldn’t out jump a 40 year old Barnet player, and height and winning high balls was the problem, so we haven’t addressed it have we???
Anyway, who cares, we are richer than we were in May and as Wenger told someone who said he has been supporting Arsenal for 50 years and last year was a disaster. ‘did we get into the Champions league semi final before?’

Screw the money argument – it’s basically a straw-man anyway. We know Wenger won’t spend money he has anyway, so it’s kind of irrelevant as to what he’d do with more.
Wenger does have one downfall. He cannot adapt his tactics from opponent to opponent unlike someone like Fergie.

I disgaree Mark. Firstly because Vieira wasnt a DM. Gilberto was and Vieira controlled the middle, just like Cesc does but he doesnt have a DM helping him out. And although Bendtner might start a lot of games Van Persie will still be the main forward so he is the spine. And Eduardo is the goalscorer so he should be ahead of Bendtner too.
