Seeing Song and Denilson in the middle of the park makes me feel about as comfortable as I do every time I see that advert where Carlton Palmer turns up in that unsuspecting gamblers bath… imagine finding that twat sitting in your bath?
I thought it was a negative line up against a poor team and I didn’t really the benefit bar fitness? Does Wenger do it because he knows we’re going to maul the team we’re about to play, thus convincing us that maybe they are good enough? I mean honestly… couldn’t we play one half with Denilson and Diaby and one half with Song and Arshavin? Wouldn’t that be more interesting tactically? I mean surely we’re not contemplating those two as a partnership in a 4-4-2 next year?
I couldn’t tell you too much about the Hungarian team… when the commentator read the names out it sounded pretty similar to a conversation you’d have with someone who was in an area with a broken reception. So for today, I will mostly refer to the team as Salami FC.
Early on, Mannonne did his best to replicate Almunia’s moment of madness the other day. He dealt poorly with a bad back pass from Rambo but luckily it came to nothing. I quite like Mannone… he is a beast of a keeper, but I can’t imagine him displacing Fabianski as number 2.
It didn’t take us long to break the deadlock… Traore picked the ball out wide, raced past his marker and delivered a pinpoint cross for Thomas Bendtner who glanced it expertly past the keeper. I thought Nik’s half time interview was refreshing. He gets way too much stick in the press for his arrogance, but for me he has manned up over the last year. He works hard, he says the right things and I think he is going to be an immense talent for us this year.
The next goal incidentally was set up by the young Dane. He laid the ball off to a fit Eduardo, who nipped in front of the last defender and buried the ball low and hard across the keeper. A clinical finish from a player who pound for pound shames Huntelaar.
The third goal came from an Eduardo freekick. He hit it low and hard from about 30 yards out… a good strike, but really, the keeper should have done better.
The fourth came after Wilshere cut the ball back to Thomas B just outside the box, Nik looked up and placed the ball low and hard into the bottom right corner. A nice goal from a player high on confidence and perhaps life?
A couple of points that need to be made from the first half. Traore looks like more of a winger than a left back. His positioning was a touch dodgy as he seems more interested in getting forward… however, I think his crossing is superb. Song was pretty poor, his link up play was awful… he passed it to his imaginary friend twice despite having a lot of time on the ball. Yes, I thought the counselling had solved this ‘problem’.

Is this who Song was passing to last night?
If anyone has delusions of a league winning season with him in the middle… you should think again. I thought Rambo and Jack looked good on the flanks. Jack needs to bulk up though… he’d last about ten games in the prem… thugs will try and break him… and he still looks so fragile.
The normal changes were made in the second half and we saw the return of Big Phil to the middle of the park
Jack gave us a glimpse of his talent early on when he broke through Salami’s defence and chipped the ball over the keeper only to be denied by the bar.
What I like about Denilson and Phil is they don’t try and over elaborate. I like Phil in the middle more than Denilson because he was an ok defender and he is a massive lump. Phil just gets the ball out from his feet and plays it to the closest player… no nonsense, no frills and good in the air. I’d love to see how he fared against a good team.
I enjoyed the woman shouting ‘Come on you guuuuners’. If she did that at the Emirates, we’d probably hear her on the tele there as well!
Big Phil dispossessed a Salami player and drove through the middle of the park Yaya fashion, laid the ball off the Robin who couldn’t get a shot out. The ball went back to Phil who woefully crossed… I guess that’s why he keeps it simple! A nice run though.
Sagna put us under the kosh by losing the ball but luckily for him Gallas showed great recovery skills to make the tackle.
One of the Salami boys had a shot from the half way line… Chesney collected with ease. I didn’t need to tell you that, but I wanted to show you I’d thought about the spelling problems of the Polish keepers name (Wojciech Szczesny) and I’d found a solution. We never rest on our laurels here at Le Grove!
Bendtner got munched by the keeper on 66… Robin stepped up and showed off his penalty skills with a rasping top corner penalty. He sure is good at penalties…
Chesney picked up the ball and rolled it out (<- it really is a good nick name).
This is probably a good time to mention Arshavin… I didn’t realise he’d even come on. Annonymous is a word I’d mostly associate with his game today.
Wilshere made a lovely run, passed to Nik who flicked a little pass perfectly into Niks path… Jack showed his lack of maturity by going for the audacious outside of the foot shot when he should have buried it. It’s a tough thing to manage… because you want players to express themselves but not at the expense of an easy goal.
Chezzers showed his metal late on when a Salami player hit a low shot… the keeper parried it, then made a superb reaction save to deny the Hungarians a goal.
Denilson got himself into a mess by not clearing the ball, Big Phil clumsily challenged and gave away a freekick. The ball was fired high towards the top corner, Chesney was equal to it and tipped it over in quite spectacular fashion.
Then shock of the night, Silvestre whipped a superb cross into Robin who headed low and angled past the keeper. Sadly he was unfairly declared offside.
Senderos over hit a pass to Nik… and the young Dane raced onto it at surprising pace. He is deceptively quick… again, not an important moment… but info I feel it would have been a disservice not to let you know.
Salami cheated to get a penalty… Chesney dived early, the forward paused… then clipped it wide. Chesney delivered the wanker sign in amusing fashion… did someone tell him that they have camera’s in Hunagary these days? Arsenal.com in traditional propaganda fashion cut that part out in the replay… well played chaps, Goebells would have been proud!
So to summarize…
A clean sheet, 6 5 goals and some very assured performances.
The commentators kept talking about us playing a 4-3-3… I didn’t see that, I thought we played a traditional 4-4-2. I think we will flick between that and a 4-5-1 next season. It all depends on the strength of our centre midfield. Song certainly isn’t capable of filling that role… Can Denilson make the jump? Well, he doesn’t look different physically and he still lacks mobility. People talk about his pass completion rate… but that’s like talking about how many girlfriends the man who went to school in an all female convent had. If you play in a team who specialise in short passing football, the chances are you will be making more passes than a team who play a more direct style like Liverpool.
Nik Bendtner looked very good today, his passing was good, his finishing clinical and his work rate was much improved. Eduardo did what he always seems to do… score goals. His only weakness is his team play. I don’t think he gets involved as much as previous greats of the club have done… but Bilic always champs his team play for the national team… so I’ll give him time! I hope all thoughts of signing Huntelaar have passed people by… I’ve watched him quite a few times and I can tell you first hand… he will drive you crazy… he isn’t fast at all, he isn’t a team player and I don’t think he is better than what we already have.
Finally, before we go (I too have an imaginary friend)… I just want to run an idea past you all. Adebayor is really starting to irritate me in his new found role as spokesman for Man City and the Association of World class footballers. We need a plan for him when he comes over to the Emirates, and one of my good friends gave me an idea today. Why boo him? Why don’t we all laugh at him every time he gets the ball? How humiliating would that be! Everybody opening up a 60,000 people can of laughter every time he spoons his first touch 14 yards in front of him!
Have a think about it… because he’ll enjoy the booing, it would seem like we cared about his departure… he needs to know that I threw a street party when he left!
Right, have a rip roaring day and remember to say happy Birthday to Geoff… not as some sort of practical joke… but because it’s his birthday!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
It’s been a pleasure reading your blogs over the last year, may there be many more to come!
I hope I’ll be joined in raising a virtual Peroni to your 35th birthday! I’m also pleased to announce that after a year of solid contribution… the blog equivalent of a 50 game season… Le Grove Corp is pleased to announce that we’ve offered Geoff a one year extension to his deal. Geoff has accepted his new contract on pay as you blog terms and is confident he can take his blogging to the next level this coming season!
Cheers!

Italy's finest

yeah it was an amazing season for Alonso, he was their best player! ive never heard of him being a wanker.
cant ever remember a player being announced at a game, but if this rumour has any truth, at least we dont have long to wait, its next week!
Wenger was very cagey in his interview, which is fucking normal, but you did get the sense that something will happen!
Well im off..night all…
night stu
A
A diving wanker who played for Red Devils wanted to leave last summer. The red nose, held on to him,and reaped a PL and a Micky mouse cup, thanks to his onfield shenanigans. So it does imply, that Arsene doesnt have that tactical nous or man management skill, compared to the Red nose, innit?
Keeping one of if not your most important player isn’t quite the same as keeping a squad player against his wishes just for his experience in the dressing room Jaguar!! Wenger did the same with Ade as Fergie did with Ronaldo, and look what happened!! neither were half the players this year they were the year before anyways, even if utd did win the league ronaldo was still a shadow of his former self.
No it doesn’t imply that at all, Fergie has nothing on Arsene imo, he’ll be a legend when he retires, but noone will be able to know how he’d do when not given massive advantages over everyone else.
Anyways, i’m off to bed too
nite people
anyone see this?
http://www.downswinging.com/wordpress/2009/07/de-rossi-new-arsenal-signing-defender-swap-in-the-works/

I have been going to Arsenal since 1970 and worked there for past 15 years so please don’t dismiss everything I suggest.
I am not a little no nothing kid who plays Championship Manager and knows all the Players but I do know what I see and read.
I don’t know you mate but you write like you have the answer to everything and all others are wrong.
Does the A stand for Arsene? or are you the Oracle?
I don’t always think I am right but like some others I do have strong opinions.
Ethan hated Ade I hate Coco the Clown Almunia.
I never said Huntelaar was the be all and end all but you dismiss him because you don’t like him or more to the fact you don’t like him because others do.
Have you seen him play and if so how many times and was it for 90 mins or just you tube clips.
To be honest I haven’t seen him play apart from the limited time he had at the Euro’s but his record is seconnd to none in whatever side he plays, fast or slow he bangs them in.
I really couldn’t care if we buy Bassong or not and agree he wouldn’t be the answer but for you to say the deal is dead is very arrogant as unless you are Wenger how would nyou really know.
Bassong certainly is a Wenger type signing as he is French and cheap he would sit around and play 20 games as understudy to Gallas and eventually replace him.
It never matters much to Wenger as to which foot the Player uses as he more often than not he plays people on the opposite side or out of position like Pires, Overmars, Henry etc.
I do come on this site every day and most times just to read the comments. I have been on this site for a season and half at best of my knowledge and enjoy the banter.
I will though clear off again as I did for many weeks due to getting shot down by yourself and then I will see you impose your thoughts as you probably see it on someone else.
You repeat the same things time and time again on the hope that you will win the argument you started.
Good Luck mate.
Tel.
Nite Guys
Where is thatv fellow A from, I have met some know it alls in my time but he takes some beating.
Ronaldo had a great season at the Mancscum and destroyed us at our place in CLSF they won the Prem I seem to remember too.
Ade was a cunt who really didn’t want to play.
Never mind I can’t be bothered arguing as it won’t change fuck all.
yep you have been around as long as me El Tel, thats for sure. well said old son!
I would be in a quandry to choose Villa or Huntelaar, from my limited viewing of them, i like both.
lol – get a load of Henry Landsbury’s profile pic cut and paste in for De Rossi….shithouse attempt!
http://img.skitch.com/20090728-tb7h6p1mwt8ci8ktx1k5ysfw5.jpg
el tel I don’t always think I’m write, i’m just writing opinions.
I don’t dismiss Huntelaar because I don’t like him, I find it pretty ridiculous that people do that sort of thing, decide they “like” or “dislike” players so then try and defend that beyond reason.
I saw Huntelaar play maybe 5 or 6 of the matches he started for Madrid, and for Holland a few times as well. I had absolutely no opinion on him before I saw him play, but having seen him play enough times to see that he’s incredibly slow, and his link up play and all round game is very limited, regardless of his finishing being absolutely exceptional, his limitations mean that he’d never fit into our system.
I dismiss him because I’ve seen him play and have an opinion on him from analysing that, no other reason.
With Bassong I can’t think of a single central defensive partnership that has two left footed players, ever…. You can have two right footed centre backs, because they can adapt, but you’re always weaker on your weaker side. As the majority of footballers are right footed, you can’t have two left footed centre backs, because it just couldn’t work unless one of them is very two footed so could play on the right.
imo Wenger was interested in Bassong, as with Sakho, along with Vermaelen, because he wanted a young left footed centre back, and he got one in Vermaelen, so I’d be absolutely shocked if another one came in.
What footed players are is completely different with attacking to defensive players too.
lol el tel there’s really no need to throw your toys out of the pram
don’t just say things that are wrong though – ronaldo was good last season, but wasn’t half the player he was the season before, had loads of tantrums etc.
The situation was almost identical to ade, apart from ade was much worse to start with!
evo where did you find that??! That where the story is eminating from??
which story mate?
just google De Rossi for the last 24 hours and you will see the momentum that is starting to gather for it…heaps of blogs about it now
lol…this is the latest edit on his wiki page…
There were rumours that De Rossi’s name appeared on the official Arsenal FC website in the squad list, however this has been confirmed few hours ago that he signed for Arsenal Fc on a 4 years deal for an undiscloded amount thought to be around 24 million pounds the gooners recently sold their striker Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City FC at a similar amount.
evo re alonso being a wanker apparently everyone hates him in football, he’s a complete dick on and off the pitch, which is why there were so many horrific tackles on him, he’s the person who’s victim of most red card tackles by some distance over the last couple of years. Just what people say though regarding it being because he’s a nob, maybe they just want to stop him playing, does seem very weird the way Benitez was willing to offload him and bring in Barry though, a far inferior footballer
ha imagine if it was true evo, that’d just be an amazing thing to wake up to!
i am salivating right as we speak!
take it with a grain of salt i suppose in order not to get the hopes up! Someone will be in, just when and who remains to be seen!
yeah evo, apparently 5 red card challenges on him just this season, and loads of incidents of people getting away with trying to hurt him in tackles or other little things too, it’s weird – no idea what he’s done to piss EVERYONE off so much!
Yeah i agree evo, i just hope it’s sooner rather than later! I’d guess that it’s unlikely to be this week, as everyone is in Austria, but as soon as possible after the emirates cup so that there’s as much time to prepare as possible before the start of the season, especially the Champs League qualifiers. Gotta get deals with players departing all sorted asap so we can get recruiting
id say by UK time thursday morning the Toure deal will be announced
what baffles me is why Toure still played in the recent game at centre back? Maybe that was part of the deal to keep him fit, or maybe smokescreen that he was going, but not to alert us/anyone right until the final moment?
I’d guess it was just because Wenger treated him just as he would any Arsenal player, until he was officially off, so if he wasn’t to go to City then he’d be as fit for the new season as possible. This could end up being a very eventful couple of weeks transfer wise if senderos and eboue follow kolo out the door
yeah we would be going from no-one leaving the squad as stated by the club to 4-5 out plus the guys de-listed also
i thought the hannover game was on thursday, awesome that it’s later!!
yeah evo, i guess when wenger said his main priorities were keeping the squad together, he meant the members of the squad he wanted to keep! If senderos and eboue so follow kolo and ade out the exit door it’ll be a pretty big overhaul, hope we’ll cope with it.
i bet ya it was a spuds knob who posted that stuff as anonymous!
either that or just an attention seeker evo, i reckon there’s a 95% likelihood it was a complete load of gibberish!
yeah id say the likelihood is way out there, but its good to dream for a few minutes
yeah evo, just imagine if that was announced out of nowhere
We’ll see what’s happening in the next 24 hours … we have many centre-backs, seven centre-backs and I’m in a position where we have to play some in midfield… but of course Kolo is a very good player – we’ll see what happens in the next 24 hours.”
Is Kolo Cesc’s new partner?
Happy birthday Geoff, but I thought you were older than 35.
Well, I must admit that things are a bit jittery with me & the Gunners, unless Le Gaffer uses the “new found” funds to bring in quality.
As for the unmentionable former twat, I thinks its time to get over that & move forward (like Australia’s economy is) I mean hasn’t enough shit been poured on him already. Don’t get bitter, get better I say. The guy is gone for Gods sake, & everyone got what they wanted, him gone. Why continue the bitch about him.
I noted on another blog that someone said that Arswaxin should get a new way of celebrating. I agree, I think holding up 5 fingers after he has scored would be good, & that would be a positive step up from the 4 he held up after ending Liverwurst dream last season
I reckon AA23 could win the player of the year award if he has an uniterrupted campaign.
Anyway, buy, buy, buy please Le Prof, coz we now know you have money with the sale of Kolo & whats his name.
whats his name.
I like that
gday Gnarley,
5 finger salute would be awesome! im gonna pull up those pool highlights right now and watch the glorious 4 goals again and again!
So if gossip is to be believed…the 15m we’re gonna get from Citeh for Toure will be forwarded on asap to Fulham for Hangeland.
Amen to that I say.
Now for Huntelaar and the curious case of that much wanted DM!!
God please bring back football…i need it in my life right now.
Haha.
Patience son.
2 weeks ish.
icy, is there substance to this Hangeland gossip
& Huntelaar.
I too hope I wake up tomorrow to Arsenal v Everton.
Life is pretty useless without football.
evo, we did you a favour over the weekend, shooting down the bombers
ikon
The next match is Everton v Arsenal
but yes it can’t come round quick enough.
weren’t we linked with de rossi in the january transfer season… then, maybe there is some truth in the rumour that wenger is interested in him… but who the feck am i kidding ..
also, wasnt it nick that said he had heard that we were in for mata ( valencia ) via hearsay… is it possible that the valencia player was villa and not mata
unlikely though, the annoymous guy is probably a spud winding us up.
http://www.imscouting.com/global_news_item.aspx?id=2698
apparently another wiz-kid we are after..this time a brazilian
Gnarley…
I hope so mate…
We’d be awesome with them….
ARSENAL WILL BE BUYING BREDE HANGELAND SOON AFTER KOLO’S EXIT
BREDE HANGELAND will not rush to commit to Fulham.
The defender, 28, is a £12million Arsenal target but has two years left on his contract.
He said: “We’ll wait to see what happens.”
Rossi would be a very good signing imo but we would have to break the bank for him no doubt. I would expect 20-25 mill. If Wenger can pull one out of the hat by giving up Denilson and paying 16-18 I would be very very happy!!
kolo is leaving what do you people have to say about that scince nowadays you are all chaty chaty about everytging!!!!!!!!!!!????
Nice one Kenya, lets hope Le Gaffer is moving on that one.
Gnarley – yes you did mate, however we are still rubbish and not consistent enough to play finals football an attempt to beat the likes of the saints and the cats, although we should have beaten the saints that night!
Morning all….
morning, TAIG
You might of heard this too but just to add to the De Rossi thing…..An article yesterday said that De Rossi’s name appeared on Arsenal.com’s squad list with the number 13 (he wears 16 at Roma). Who knows. Can these things be kept that quiet? I’m not so sure. But then they say we we’re interested in Vucinic….perhaps we had people there but from De Rossi, not Vucinic??
SUGA3 – morning pal!
Jesus! Fulham didn’t win a game without Hangeland last term! The stat’s all say he was the man for them!
Hangeland for £10m + Senderdross
Daniel De Rossi for £20m
Both within our ‘budget’. Huntelaar might be a stretch then but then he would only be a luxury signing anyway!
Almunia
Sagna – Hangeland – Gallas – Clichy
De Rossi
Rosicky – Fabregas – Arshavin
RvP – Eduardo
De Rossi is just a hoax at best.
DM is the highest priority now. A striker and a defender may not be required.
Morning People…
De Rossi stuff was another creation of a cyber crazy Arsenal fan…and Wiki is not entirely reliable source too…so i’d not be too excited about that…
De Rossi won’t leave Roma.
And plus he’s kinda overrated!!
Morning Grovers,
When is the team coming back from Austria??
That’s a decent line up Tony..
You forgot Verm though
I know de Rossi isn’t coming. Roma, for some reason, seems to be a club that players find it very hard to leave! They are more like a family than a club I think. Totti has never wanted to leave, Aquilani didn’t want to leave, De Rossi turned down Utd I think, Vucinic has said he’d never leave. fair play to Roma for managing to keep their players happy when they win fuck all each year!
Iceman – Verm is back up for Gallas, the ball playing defender. DJ would be back up for Hangeland, the header winning defender.
I think TV has been bought now to learn the prem for a year until Billy G leaves next season and will then take up that role.
Inside – Must be today surely? Only 3 days until the Emirates Cup!
Roma hasnt tasted success much yet. The problem with Arsenal is we already have seen some great great success and hence the level of expectation is maybe sometimes ridiculously high.
It getting unbearable now. I want to back my team on top of my voice , but at present looking at the squad and how thin it is in the middle, and looking at the suspect defense, all I can muster is a lowly “Common”
like I have to back myself to back my club.
Common Arsene.
No Tony, we play one more before we come back, Hannover I think today.
Today we get to see more football?
Hannover FC vs Arsenal is it today?
Geoff – Ahh yeah, forgot about Hannover. Jeez, we’re cutting it tight aren’t we? At least the boys should be firing on all cylinders come August 15th!
Geoff – Any hints on today’s topic? Controvertial? Inspiring? Optimistic? Gloomy?
Roma can’t be succesfful with the Beast upfront
TAIG..
Yes its quite strange how they(ROMA) manage to keep players…..Even after having missed out on CL spot last season…
Only if we buy the right players, if we don’t buy, we will be so much weaker, players like RVP, Cesc and Arshavin will wonder why they bothered, I know I will.
Let’s have some controversy lad
Tony today is hopeful I think I would say, hopeful and positive, Wenger will like it and find it hard to argue the logic.
Iceman I forget to add, tinged with controversy!
With Toure all but gone, and news of Eboue leaving becomes reality, it would indicate that AW is generating cash to make at least two signings. The quotes from Grimandi about selling before buying also seem to back this up. With AW being the way he is we should not expect him to come out and say who he is planning to buy. There is just over a month left for transfers and after selling 3 important players I dont think AW will go into next season without bringing in reinforcement. I imagine things will start happening after we secure CL football.
Hangeland and Huntelaar are the right players!!
Funny thing isn not one DM has been mentioned/linked for while now….
Geoff – I’m sure we will lose all 3 of those players if we win nothing this season! Arsh & RvP will stay if we manage the FA Cup but Cesc needs the EPL or CL to convince him to stay! I’m pretty sure he still see’s Wenger as a father figure though. But now he’s a father figure that comes home drunk and beats his children and then tells people he fell down the stairs!
Geoff – Its sounds like this is going to be an attempt to woo Wenger?
Can’t wait mate….
My two cents, I feel Merida is kept as a secret backup to Cesc. I have not heard of anyone at the club who has been here for so long but never being loaned out nor sold. Merida is special.
iceman – We actually haven’t been linked with a single DM all summer! I think the only gossip has been blog generated with Matuidi at the beginning and then Cana. I’m still sad about Cana.
So would everyone be happy with spending the Toure dough all on Hangeland? Or even a Senderos plus 10 mill? The only time I saw the fellow play last term was when they played us and in the first match he was brilliant and even scored.
ikon – Ramsey is there for that role I think.
Like H.Simpson
LAzer – I think £10m + Senderdross is the best possible deal. We save some cash while still satisfying Fulham’s value of Hangeland. They get a CB in return. We reduce the number CB’s we have. Silvestre cant be gotten rid of but forgetting him we would have Gallas and Hangeland starting with TV and DJ as there back ups respectively!
iceman – but without the humour!
Ikon there was talk of Merida being loaned out just yesterday, funny you mentioned that. He said he would go out on loan if the boss desired. Also, I believe he has had a loan spell before as well.
Morning the Mousaillons
Ramsey isnt in the Fabregas mould I think, he is more like Gerrard. Although too soon to judge him. I would love to see him playing alongside Cesc. I bet they would make a fearsome Mid pair. like Xavi-Iniesta
Merida was loaned to Real Sociedad …
ikon – I dunno mate, Ramsey has a keen eye for that killer pass! The bonus being that he can score as well! His goal against England U21′s and then his assist were amazing!
Ohh yes my bad.
But that was just one loan stint isnt it? one season.
Cesc isnt irreplaceable, but he like Arsene has become the mark of Arsenal. I believe he brings golden luck whenever he plays.
ikon maybe thats’s the plan….
IF only Wenger would just once experiment Cesc-Ramsey, he would know what I am talking about.
Hopefully he will make that “mistake” once.
Morning all!
I second that taig, I hope that deal goes through the way you describe it. Btw not sure if you guys read this bit, Hodgson and Brede go way back and he was a large part as to why he chose Fulham. He is also considered one of the smartest players in the dressing room. When asked how it was adapting to the pl he said the speed was the big difference with 5’4 guys running the 100m in 10 secs, but the best way to deal with that is by using your head, meaning positioning and reading the game well. That would be a definite step up from big Phil imo.
LAzer – yeah, Brede played under Hodgson before in Norway. He knew how good he was and obviously new he could make it in the EPL. Hodgson is an under rated manager really.
I personally like Hodgson, a good no nonsense honest manager who has been around a bit and seems quite keen in the transfer market (with the sale of Bullard and all).
Phil Brown was stupid enough to bid for Bullard rather than Murphy.
NEW POST!
Arsenal utility player Emmanuel Eboue is set to become the latest player to leave the Gunners by signing a five-year deal with Fiorentina.
Full story: Daily Mirror
And he almost just bought Zamora of their hands as well but the move fell through, who btw imo is absolute pants!! Perhaps it was the case of once bitten for permatan man.
If you are reading this its 2010
