Flamini back plus £20mil for Ade, what??? Ave it Wenger!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So if these reports are true then we would have to be barking bastard mad to say no. Blimey, I would give them ADE AND £20 million to get Flamini back and him out.

Think about it Arsene, first of all if the rumours are true that we are thinking about paying €15million plus Eboue for Melo, then here’s a way to save some money, and don’t forget, you are the one that says we are skint, and you are the one that believes in youth.

This way we get Flamini back, who is EPL proven, best mates with Cesc, understands the Arsenal way and runs like a scouser from a job center when a new factory opens.

Ade on the other hand is Arsenals most disliked player ever, so far up his own arse no one can find him for training, blames the fans for his lack of form, earns £80k a week and if he has a good season the whole Beyoncé shit will start over again.

I don’t care if he goes somewhere else and scores 150 goals I don’t want him anymore, I would sooner have Flamini back.

The reason he left was because he was treated badly, we even tried to sell him to Birmingham, I admit I was one that wanted him gone, Jeez, was I wrong, his last season for us was not only his best, when he wasn’t playing, we were not the same team, remember his goal against villa away, boy do we miss that grit?

I can’t believe I’m telling the boss NOT TO BUY A PLAYER, but I am, sell Ade and bring the Flamster home, we need him.

If you must spend then buy a winger and if he has to be young then buy Hazard, and with the change buy Zapata or Hangeland, you could do all that out of the money we get for Ade.

You cannot be worried about Flamini’s wages because there’s no way he earns what Ade does.

Go out there and show us how much you want to win the league boss, bury your pride, you screwed him over, not the other way around.

Lol MG… that’s the famous line which the young actor Haley Joel Osment delivers in the movie… the Sixth Sense!! I ain’t the kinky sort but I’ve dated a few birds which have had handcuffs and whips… unsurprisingly they neva got a 2nd date with me tho.. suppose it depends what you’re into but the pain game ain’t my thing!

  2. Honest Bill

I think it’s quite interesting how everyone remembers Flamini as this DM who sat behind And let Fabregas go and do his thing. Because i remember Flamini as being just as offensively minded. But he just had a great deal of fighting spirit in him and used to hassle the opposition a lot and win the ball, or at least put them off

  3. Rohan

no thats the problem with the crazy kid in The Sixth Sense..he sees dead people..
it’s not really a spoiler because you get to see that in the first second of the movie…its the ending you need to watch out for…
besides, you were asking for it.

  4. ManGoonian

I know the ‘thing’ about the 6th Sense Rohan… I was being unbelievably witty as per usual…

  5. OGC

Gran Torino wasn’t anything special. From the Oscar nominated films this time around, Wrestler and Benjamin Button were worth watching. Great films.

  6. Rohan

Wrestler was phenomenal..one of the best movies i’d watched in a long time…
much better than slumdog millionaire although it was about the city where i was born..

  7. OGC

Yea it was great. Rourke should’ve totally won best actor. 2009 isn’t too good though as far as blockbusters are concerned. Terminator was okay though.

James Cameron’s Avatar could be nice but then again maybe it’s coming out in 2010. I forgot.

  8. ManGoonian

    Benji Button???

What a load of syryppy sentimental old cheesey nonsense!

    You big girl’s blouse!

  9. redbearer

Slumdog was very well shot tho.. Rock N Rolla is the best Brit flick for a while imo… top notch!

  10. Rohan

i didn;t like benjamin button either..i almost fell asleep in the first half hour..it got better but i wasnt that impressed..

  11. redbearer

Yeaha the Hangover is even better than the Wedding Crashers or even Superbad… anyone seen McLovin?

  12. OGC

Snatch and Lock Stock were far better than Rock N Rolla but then again that ain’t bad either. Looking for good brit flicks, try Shane Meadows. I’d particularly recommend This is England and Dead Mans Shoes.

  13. OGC

Benjamin Button was great for me coz I watch so many fucking movies and it’s always good to see something unique, crazy and ambitious. Fincher is a great director imo, with films like Fightclub, Seven, Zodiac etc.

  14. Honest Bill

I liked Rock n Rolla, but if you want a good British Gangster film, then you can’t beat ‘The Long Good Friday’ it’s a fucking classic

  15. OGC

Yea that is great but if you look at mob films in general, there are far better films. Millers Crossing? Godfather? Goodfellas? Departed? Speaking of Departed, I’d always recommend the original films on which it was based: Infernal Affairs trilogy. 1 and 2 are brilliant.

  16. Honest Bill

OGC, yeah i agree, all those are great (haven’t seen Miller’s crossing), but i though we were on about British ones

  17. ManGoonian

Superbad is effin quality! I cant see the hangover being better… No way man!

Sexy Beast is top top top class! Brilliant. Ben Kingsley is genius and Amanda Redman is sexy as hell in that film…

  18. Rohan

yea i’ve seen the internal affairs trilogy…excellent
goodfellas was fantastic too and you don’t need to mention godfather, scarface et al…

  19. goonermichael

    Honest Bill
I went through period of getting stoned and watching the long good friday every night for ages. I used to know the whole dialogue. “I’m a Londoner with a sense of history, I’m also a business man” I bought and watched it recently. It hasn’t aged that well but I’d still reccommend it. Docklands is a one big derelict site which is intersting and nostalgic.

  20. redbearer

Ah Millers Crossing.. another Coen Bros classic… Other films include O Brother where art thou, the big lebowski, no country for old men and most recently burn after reading to name but a few!

  21. goonermichael

That no country for old men really annoyed me. I went for a piss really quick, came back and the main bloke was dead. Didn’t know what happened to the money, didn’t understand the ending

  22. OGC

You really ought to watch it Miller’s Crossing. Won’t disappoint I can assure you. As for Brit films, the good ones aren’t exactly in abundance but there are some pretty great ones in there. Layer Cake? Anyone seen it? Pretty good film too.

  23. redbearer

Aye Layer Cake has Daniel Craig in it aka James Bond… it’s a pretty smooth film too.. would watch it again!

  24. OGC

Even if you didn’t like No Country For Oldman, you’re probably gonna like Miller’s Crossing, Big Lebowski and Fargo. Raising Arizona is probably the most accessible as far as the Coens are concerned though. Hilarious film.

  25. goonermichael

If you consider the size of the film industry here and the budgets this country has made some great films. Hollywood has also made loads of absolute shit as well as the good stuff

  26. reggie57

Best bit of the film is during the robbery when bob slips the cashier one and she reconizes him by his size(they were all masked up) hot diggity dog!!

  27. Honest Bill

reggie57, i like the cake scene where he’s waiting on the girls doorstep, that is funny as fuck

  28. goonermichael

Salon Kitty is about a brothel full of prostitutes spying on german officers for the SS. It’s weird, made in Italian and dubbed into English.

  29. goonermichael

does anyone like japanese films? Watch vistor q. I guarantee you won’t see anything sicker ever. (if that’s what you like)

  30. redbearer

Death Proof with the bad arse Kurt Russell… it’s a movie when the chicks fight back against some psychotic Stuntman.. V watchable if you like stuff like Kill Bill etc

  31. ManGoonian

If you is talkin British films, you can’t beat the olden days man…. Alistair Simm, St Trinnians, Alec Guiness, Kind Hearts and Coronets, Terry Thomas…. Fuckin funny as hell! Never liked watching old films when I was a kid, but there are great, IMO…

    Check em out you Philistines!

  32. OGC

@choy: Watch Grindhouse instead of watching Death Proof.

@goonermichael: The Japanese have some fuckin sick stuff. Ichi comes to mind. Not really into it but the French are pretty good at it too these days. Inside (2007) and Frontiers (2007) are worth it if you’re into that.

  33. goonermichael

I used to watch all those films on Saturday moring pictures at the brixton astoria where the academy is now MG

  34. redbearer

The other movie which was released more or less during the same period as Death Proof was called Planet Terror and had matey boy Bruce Willis blasting some zombies to bits!

  35. goonermichael

Watching old brit films is great for seeing london as it was. Notting hill is a shithole in performance. great film by the way

  36. reggie57

I used to go to the Odeon in Dalston never to watch the films just to kick shit out of the spud supporters who used to go as well!good old days

  37. OGC

    @ManGoonian and goonermichael:

Recommend me a few flicks that you consider exceptional but aren’t very widely known.

  38. Baxter Wall

Arshavin needs to stop talking, he is making us a laughing stock. Even more so than our midfield makes us.

  39. goonermichael

    MG
Entertaining mister sloane is similar. Both written by joe orton. Prick up your ears about joe orton with gary oldman is a good film

  40. OGC

Cypher? Seen that but wasn’t impressed. Gattaca (1997) on the other hand if you haven’t seen, you should defo check out.

  41. ManGoonian

    OGC;

Well, 12 Angry men is a fuckin good film, IMO. Henry Fonda and a load of top character actors… All set in a jury room… Brilliant!

  42. ManGoonian

    Baxter;

Our players are obviously in need of a good stern talking to and they need to feel the back of my hand…. They have had too much sugar and have all gone ADHD on us…

  43. ManGoonian

    The manchurian Candidate;

The original with Frank Sinatra as well as the Man With the Golden Arm

  44. ManGoonian

I have seen the footage of all the other 19 Prem temas stood outside the Grove, pointing and laughing and i was far from amused, let me tell you Baxter old boy…

  45. ManGoonian

    An American Werewolf in London…

Hardly unknown, but you might not have seen it…

    3 Days of the Condor
    Capricorn one
    The Presidents Analyst

I love 1970′s conspiracy films too.

  46. Baxter Wall

No point arguing with you. The reason I read this blog is because the author understands that what we’ve got is not good enough.

  47. OGC

Speaking of Brit films and all, anyone a fan of the Horatio Hornblower series with Ioan Gruffudd. Brilliant stuff! Highly enjoyable I have to say if you love the ocean. :D

    Dazed and Confused – great
    12 Angry Men – great
Spun – the one with Britanny Murphy?

  48. SUGA3

we’ve bought tickets for the Emirates Cup (Sunday), so I will be coming to see us spank the Rangers – so I hope ;-)

  49. Baxter Wall

My season ticket costs a lot of money, should I not want to see the team do well? Should I have to watch barely adequate players?

  50. Mayank

Oh c’mon Baxter we’ve got an amazing squad, i’ll bet the Mancs and the chavs would like to be in our position, one signing away from a proper title winning side and a couple of years away from greatness.

  51. ManGoonian

    Oh jeeeezuss!

You have gone from coming out with a stooopid as fuck statement about our players being out of control, to trotting out the “oh you mustve been happy we finished 4th” to the tried and tested, “I pay a lot of money for my season ticket so can demand the best players, yadda yadda”

Fuck me! I thought fans like that were characatures, not for fuckin real???

  52. Baxter Wall

one signing and replacements for the players that don’t want to be here. Cesc, Gallas, Arshavin & Adebayor.

Thats five players we need. Five world class players.

  53. ManGoonian

Well, Wilshire apparantly passed all his GCSEs this summer and Theo can make a blind spag bol too, now if that aint enough to make any Gooner proud, I dont know what will…???

  54. zorr0

Sin City is good, Jessica ALba is sizzlin’

Man with the golden arm is quality!
Look Back in Anger, Friday night saturday morning, Billy Liar, Darling, This sporting life. All of these are quality examples of 1960′s Britain, post war gloom etc. Really good for those who never lived in the 60′s to watch.

  55. Mayank

And also you pay for your season ticket ’cause you enjoy watching Arsenal, not just to see trophies, if that was the case then only the top four would have season ticketers. The price of the ticket is just the cost you pay to watch the arsenal play and it by no means is the price you’re supposed to pay to watch a trophy being lifted, that’s just a bonus. It’s good to be ambitious and demanding of your club but it’s not right to say they owe you trophies.

  56. goonermichael

Does anyome know the name of the film with richard burton and another big name playing 2 gay hairdressers in a brixton hair salon?

  57. OGC

Speaking of Trainspotting it reminded me of Romper Stomper with Russel Crowe? Great Aussie flick about skinheads. It’s like This is England set in Australia but much more gritty and raw.

Carlito’s Way is indeed great, along with Donnie Brasco, Serpico, Heat and almost every other mob/cop film Pacino has done.

  58. ManGoonian

    Mayank;

    Sorry fella, but if you look at the Arsenal supporters charter, it specifically states that;

“We the undersigned do solemly agree to pay thee most expensive season tickets in the universe, with a guarantee that the club will under no circumstances buy players I dont like and will win stuff so i dont get stick off my ManU supporting mates…”

  59. zorr0

GM, apparently it is called Staircase, but I had never heard of it!

Only film I remember him being bent in was Villain, which was quality Brit gangster film too!

  60. ManGoonian

    OGC;

That reminds me (dunno why?) of a fillum with that Irish dude, Colin Farrel. Its called Intermission…

    You seen it???

  61. Mayank

You forgot ‘sell players i don’t like within a week especially if two of the players can be clubbed together in one name like Denilsong’ Mangoonian.

  62. ManGoonian

    HB;

In Bruges is class, only saw it recently… very funny

The Snapper is another hilarious Irish comedy… I bet none of yous has seen dat one???

  63. redbearer

In Brugges is fookin brilliant… with the american migget starring next to Colin Farrell.. hilarious!

  64. OGC

No I haven’t seen Intermission. Looks cool.

In Bruges I’ve seen. In Bruges = fuckin awesome!

Nice talkin film with ya’ll and thanks for the recommendations. I’m off.

  65. Baxter Wall

I don’t demand trophies but I spend a fortune and last season did not get value for money.

its great if you can put that to one side, i envy that to be sure. But I can’t, i’m finding it so frustrating, because we could all see last summer that this side was not going to win anything.

Honestly do you think that all of the pundits, ex players like DB10, Freddie, Merse, TA and Charlie Nic are all wrong? That they know nothing?
