Here is my imaginary team- (I just went with the usual back 4 as its really hard to predict who will be added and where they play)

Sagna-Toure-Gallas-Clichy

Class DM- ( someone who can handle the role to protect the back 4 and break up play by himself, not as a dual DM like Alonso-Masch partnership)

Walcott/Nasri-Cesc/Ramsey-Arshavin/Rosicky

Rvp-Dzeko/Eduardo

So like a 4-1-3-2. I like the looks of that, 3 or 4 of our players can interchange roles near the top and we have bench strength for once in Nasri, Walcott, and Rosicky. That would be an amazing lineup imo.

anyone seen the wenger interview on ssn this morning? talk about depressing. all he basically says is that he thinks man city could make top 4 and chelsea will be even stronger. Apparently rufused to comment when questioned on ade's future.

Real Madrid used 33 players in la liga last season,to no avail.

I still feel that we play beter with inter changing forwards without neccessarily a big lone striker,we surely model ourselves on Barcelona, and that maybe the plan.how often are we effective with Ade od Nic as the sole striker ?

Plus I think if he stays we have depth and quality so at least for once we should have enough strength in attack to last all competitions throughout the year. Remember we always just think of the first 11 but nowadays it is more about who has the best "squad" not the best first team.

Who would play on the left then if we plugged Arshavin up top as second striker? Since Arshavin is versatile at least this way we get him on the left and RVP as second striker which is a lot of quality in attacking positions we should not give up imo.

LAzer/ethan,

I am not speculating, but surely the first priority is to sort out who really wants to stay and who should be made redundant, before the club considers acquasitions, but at the same time looking for back up in quality in vunerable positions.

i wouldn't like to be in Wenger's shoes,as he may decide if either Ade or RVP were to leave,he would not strengthen in that area,PROVIDING we get back a 100% fit Eduardo.

By the way I found out that the story about Arshavin wanting to re negotiate his contract due to the increase of tax of 5% was again spin by the tabloids,as he is paid net of tax anyway.

if RVP left for a reasonable sum of money and we did in fact replace him , i would not be distraught either . he is a 2nd striker really , and AA is the best one we own so providing dudu who is also in the same mold came good and AA was put in his rightful spot RVP can be replaced like ade with 2 goal scoring threats .. dzeko or what ever his name is is one , and maybe some EPL reject like owen could be the other ..

not that i rate owen , but wenger in the past has .

and martins .. it will be interesting if Le boss goes for any of the borro/newcastle throw outs ...
