With a strong/quality DM in front of them I honestly feel it will improve the defence and with Vermeulen coming in we have much better options in terms of injuries at the back (if he can hang on to Toure and Gallas). Fingers crossed if Rosicky and Eduardo can stay fit for a chunk of next season I feel all of a sudden we would have very strong and quality squad especially since Arshavin will be available in all comps. (and he will be a strong leader next season which we need) - Sell Ade & Senderos. Up front, if he gets the likes of Dzeko thats a bonus but with Eduardo, Arshavin, RVP, Bendtner, Walcott & Vela there - well..... Key is QUALITY EXPERIENCED DM & CB - Job Done! I guess the question is who is a tactically astute, experienced, physical, calm defender who can lead and organize, who won't cost more than say 10mill.
