Kolo tells the world he doesn’t like Gallas, join the queue son.

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So Kolo has told the world he doesn’t like Billy boy, so he needs to join the queue as it seems nobody like Gallas in the Arsenal team, makes you wonder why he was ever made captain then doesn’t it? Also if he is indeed that unpopular why is he still in the team? Surely that has to be bad for moral and could explain why Kolo’s form dipped so drastically.

Theo says beating Roma was like winning the world cup, good, let’s hope we kick on from that and win something this year, it’s long overdue boys.

Tomorrow we host fat Sam’s mob and we owe them a good hiding, well actually we owe him a good hiding, that nasty fat slob has never done or said anything nice about our beloved team so he has it coming, we need to win to keep our run going and with the spuds about to stop Villa in their tracks we can go fourth in the league, if ManU beat the scousers we can start tracking second place, but let’s deal with Blackburn first.

From the day I had a row with that fat obnoxious drunk Jack Walker, I never liked that shitty team from somewhere up north, then that dirty Welsh bastard took over and Cesc gave him what for, so we don’t have a great relationship with them but when that fat bastard back hander taking bitch went there, what relationship we did have, disappeared for ever.

So we need to come out of the blocks fast tomorrow, fresh in the knowledge that we just won the world cup, Theo back on board with Arshavin should ensure we don’t see Eboue again so we can carve them up with skill and pace and get back to playing football again.

Eduardo done his groin in missing that penalty but other than that we are injury free, so a great day is on the cards, remember we started last weekend saying we could be in the semis of the FA cup, the quarters of the Champions league and fourth in the EPL.

So far so good, keep the faith Grovers, Saturday sees part three with one to go.

P.S. We have more singles than match.com… single tickets for the Blackburn game that is… so if you fancy popping over to the game, drop me an e-mail and I’ll put you in touch with someone who can help you out!

Merida played against WBA might get on against Hull but I get what your saying Paulinho some players aren’t in reserve or in the full team either

  2. Metal Gear

This is the team I pray for

    AL

RB Eboue CB DJ CB Gallas LB Gibbs

RM Merida CM Nasri DM Denilson LM Arshavin

    SS VP CF Vela

Now that looks like a very good side.

  3. irishgunner

“if i run out of beer how long would it take you to run to the shop and back?”

depends how far away the shop is although if I throw if from the door and it hits you square in the nuts you know your not a goalkeeper

  4. Ja_Gunner

    charybdis1966

You have Sagna in your team thats 3 games in 7 days, one of them being 120mins. I know they are professionals but we dont want to run Sagan into the ground. Remember there is an FA cup game on Tuesday as well against Hull

    Blackburn team

    …………..Al………………

    Kolo…..Djourou….Gallas…..Gibbs

    …….Song………Denilson……..

    Eboue……….Arshavin……….Vela

    ……………Nick B…………….

Walcott on for Eboue on 50mins.
Ramsey on for Denilson 70 mins.

If we are leading comfortably Merida on for Vela/Arshavin at 75 mins.

    Hull team

    ……………Fab…………..

    Sagna…..Kolo….Gallas…..Clichy

    Nasri…..Diaby….Den/Song….Arshavin

    ……….RVP…….NickB/Vela

For this game I get the Sagna and Clichy back because its a cup game and we need more experience/ defensive solidity.

I hate Nasri on the left….I believe he looks better on the right or in the middle. Looking at Zenit clips, it is clear that Arshavin is deadly from the left. I dont know if Weneger has watched his tapes. From the left he is deadly because is very two footed and has much more pace than Nasri…this means he go can go the byline and cut back/cross or he can cut inside and shoot. The defender does not know what to do. For Nasri the defender knows more than likely he will cut in ..because he does not have the pace to beat the defender to the byline.

I dont know why Wenger loves nasri on the left because 90% of the time he cant get past the defender and has to pass to an overlapping Clichy to deliver a dreadful cross.

  5. Ja_Gunner

For the Hull team, I forgot about Walcott, if he is ready I would start him over Nasri. Nasri could come on second half.

    Hull team

    ……………Fab…………..

    Sagna…..Kolo….Gallas…..Clichy

    Nasri/Theo…..Diaby….Den/Song….Arsh

    ……….RVP…….NickB/Vela

  6. leon

i dont amunia is that bad to me is been pretty solid far from the best, but he been solid through out thw whole season is he top class keeper out say no but is ok. i feel we need gove clichy some competion because he as adefender is that great is mush better going foward and his pace gets him out of trouble bis flop this season at least sagna has been very solid at the back

  7. Stu

    I’ll go for.

    Fabianski
    Eboue – JD – Gallas – Gibbs
    Nasri – Denilsong/Diaby +1 – Vela
    Arshavin
    Bendtner

    With the front 4 interchanging.

  8. Clacko the gooner

Right i am off but before i do i will give my prediction for tomorrow.

I think it will be light showers with sunny spells :-D

  9. Franchise

whats the point having a rival fan blog? Even Arsenal fans struggle to agree and are mostly reduced to online fights. How would a Spud and Gunner blog be any healthier? Its a recipe for total warfare and insults

  10. Stu

Nick, i only have JD because he is better with high balls than Toure. And you know Fat Sam will play percentage football.

  11. nick

that blog looks shite no ones used it since this morning i like the idea of being able to Cain a spud with no worries of getting a dig though

  12. Franchise

I read an article on Arsenal Analysis blog and u should have seen the manner in which fellow gooners were insulting themselves. It made me appreciate Le-grove for what it is. We may disagree here but it hardly goes outta hand. Well done guys may i end by saying Stu u r shit. Just joking ;) Stu u r a good guy

  13. Stu

Franchise you fecker. How dare you! You dont even know me! ….i could be a horrible person for all you know!

  14. charybdis1966

Ja- G; I know Sagna probably needs a rest, but I really don’t like the look of the pass master(Eb-way) as a right back. Also, on reflection, I’d start Theo on Saturday and then maybe sub him on 70 for Nasri as it appears he was pretty shattered on Wednesday. I always say go for an early goal, start with your most threatening line up and then take off the ones with questionable fitness later, rather than start cautiously and then maybe chase the game later.

  15. nick

franchise we have our moments on here but its more banter then anything i think le gove is the dog danglers if you cut out geoffs bad predictions and pedros even badder jokes it would be near on perfect

  16. charybdis1966

M Gear, I was just wondering – do you like Heavy Metal music by any chance? Your log on name sounds very rock ‘n roll.

  17. Stu

Good to know Irish, but i am considerably good at handling tall people. Bit of a speciality i might say. The bigger they are the harder they fall.

  18. Franchise

ok Stu u r what u are. that sounded coooool

    alright guys im off

irish let em know not to mess with me

size dont matter if the other dude is heavily armed :???:

  19. Stu

Oh…arent you the 6ft6 fucker that was mentioned a few posts ago?? I didnt get it at the time for obvious reasons.

  20. irishgunner

    Wenger on Kolo and Gallas:

“What is important is that when you are professionals, you play together,” Wenger said. “To be professional is to do what it takes for your team to be successful, not more than that – it does not mean that you go to Paradise together.”

go to paradise together lol – think Wenger’s meaning gets lost in translation sometimes

  21. nick

to be fair ive never heard any one say they like gallas my mates brother worked for barclays doing all the high accounts most of which were footballers he got invited to the grove and to meet the players he spoke to gallas a lot and when he meet him gallas never gave him the time of day said he looked a right cock as well with a pink hat and trainers on with a suit.

  22. irishgunner

Maybe Gallas is just quite and it translates as being aloof besides he’s not at the club to be anyones friend as long as he does well on the field I couldn’t give a fiddlers

  23. Stu

Just get rid of the shit players and bring in good ones. They dont need to get along. Just play well together.

  24. charybdis1966

Nick – I don’t think Gallas is necessarily a bad apple – there’s probably quite a large element of hacks building up anything they can to destabilise us. Of course, they always paint the Manskumers place as being a haven of peace and tranquillity.
If it’s too friendly at Arsenal it’s “Arsenal a holiday camp”.
If Gallas is only friendly with some its:”Cliques ravage Arsenal”
If he keeps quiet and concentrates on defending/training it’s: “Aloof Gallas hates his team mates”.
We can’t win with the gutter press so I wouldn’t believe 95% of what they say.
Fuck ‘em I say, double fuck ‘em.

  25. irishgunner

meh … dunno really hadn’t really thought what they would look like to be honest although they were very truthful with me and tole me they expected me to be fat….

do I sound like a fat person lol

  26. Stu

Irish, its because women with great personalities are usually ugly. Obviously you are the exception to the rule.

  27. nick

I would like to meet some on here, but dont wont to spoil the fun in not knowing who you are really talking to it might spoil some of the fun being able to visualise who your talking to know what i mean

  28. gazzap

    Stu,
I had myself creaming over your team! I will go with that. you weren’t sure to go with a fresh song or a knackered Den by the looks of it.
Song was great against Burnley, give him another go.

    Fabianski
    Eboue – JD – Gallas – Gibbs
Nasri – song Diaby – Vela
    Arshavin
    Bendtner

Get Rambo on for diaby when he realises a PL game after 120mins of football is gonna kill him!
Nasri might need a rest at some point too – Get theo on for him. sorted.

  29. charybdis1966

Yes, Nick, he probably isn’t a person you’d want to know but as a defender I do rate him and I’m prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt for his on field efforts. But as for the press – of course they’ll condemn him at every opportunity.

  30. nick

Think he should rotate the team and give players a rest otherwise we will end up with half the knackered and not performing or injured

  31. irishgunner

London nice but I was only in and around the central part – went to bond street/oxford street and the westfields shopping centre – I’m still a woman after all lol

  32. Stu

Good to know Gazzap. I dont want to see Denilsong because they dont attack much, if even at all. And Diabys fitness was already an issue so after however many minutes only 2 days ago he is probably dead on his feet.

  33. irishgunner

That’s Wenger’s call Stu – Almunia isn’t going to bench himself and in all fairness it would be odd of Wenger to drop him considering our recent clean sheets

  34. Stu

What he club should do is only promoted 1 reserve player every year. But into a team of proper professionals who are accomplished players. No kids in the XI, no greedy or lazy cunts, no divers, no wasters of the ball. No players in the team because they are a good laugh. I would be happy with that. Dont ever expect to see it happening tho.

  35. David

Is the World of Football so boring that we have to recycle old news??? Why are they bringing old stories from last year???

We all know Gallas And Toure dont get along….and thats prob why our defence suffers…..like it did the Roma game both players watching that ball go by!

I think its also interesting that Arsene is againt this 6 + 5 rule and the reason he says he’s against it is because it will reduce the quality of football that the best players always want to play with the best players regardless of nationality and bla bla bla….I wonder why this philosophy doesnt follow with us at Arsenal…especially since 98% of our players are French and he has refused to buy the best players to play with our best players. I really really really hate being lied to…Im watching the replay of the match on Setanta….and for the whole 120 minutes Arsene really just sat on the bench looking very very clueless. My God.

By the Way…Nicklaus Bendtner is Still shyte.

  36. leon

i feel blackburn will be difficult game and they will do dought get in there face lots of pace needed,i must say i realy dont understand what the big problem with amunia, i attmitt he is not the best keeper but he has been solid all season.

  37. Trinidad_G

“We did not take advantage of the chances we created in the first leg and nearly paid for it in the second tie. You have to be efficient from now on.”

At least Arsene knows we need to improve

  38. David

    LOL Geoff,

I couldnt watch the penalties….I switched it off and went for a walk…I fully expected us to lose after it went to penalties….so now that ive watched the game from start to finish….we couldve won the game so easily but the only person in our midfield with enough intelligence to make a creative pass forward was Diaby…and he was always tracking back to cover the fack up of Denilson….

Walcott was free…all day…everyday…down the right…and Nobody…Nobody passed it to him…Just as was the case with Arshavin….Everybody likes to run through Nasri….who whenever he leads a fast break….by the time he’s done dribbling and dancing with the ball…there are two defenders infront of him and you guessed it….Pass back…

Walcott is still waiting for a pass in the Roma game i believe….He and Arshavin must be wondering what the Fack they need to do to get the ball.

  39. Trinidad_G

I downloaded the game but I just watched the penalty shootout :)

Criticism of Almunia is a little unfair I think … for the save he did NOT slip … he went off to one side and dropped to the floor to save with feet. Better than opening the legs to catch the ball.

And he did dive .. whenever he gussed the right way. Whats the point of diving if you’re going in the wrong direction? Personally I would think our keeper was mental if the ball is going right, and he dives full stretch to the left and saves an imaginary ball.

  40. David

    Agreed Trinidad

I just cant believe that we are being credited for “mental Strength” and Maturity after a very poor showing.

We were one DONI dive to the left away from being out of the CL. Denilson and Diaby’s spot kicks were diabolical. Straight down the middle with almost no power.

  41. David

    Choy

But i believe walcott has been in the Arsenal Ranks longer than Nasri….I mean you can place any kind of pass ahead of the left back and he’ll get to it…but nobody could do it?

  42. Trinidad_G

Well of course Arsene will talk about “mental strength” to the press… what else would he say?

To the players, hopefully he says something else

  43. Trinidad_G

I thought Sagna had a near post header on goal from a corner? And Gallas had a header that he put wide instead of across goal

  44. David

    I know Goeff!!!!

It pisses me the fack off my limits….The mancs, the chavs…liverfools they ALL SCORE from set pieces….the Madrid game….the Old trafford game….

Should Van Persie even bother to take a freekick for us anymore????

If we didnt buy Arshavin…and Nasri took that freekick would TOure have scored to put us 2-1 up against West brom?????

That just sums up our Season doesnt it???

50 corners, 90% of possession, 200 million passes.

7 shots on goal….1 on target. 0 goals.

At least teams like Villa and City would hit us on a counter and we would lose these games…but theyre now draws.

  45. David

    Trini

It was actually Van Persie that headed a pass to Kolo to nod it down for a goal…but i cant say that i blame him for heading that over…he’s a defender and naturally……….

I just wish he found the nodding down thing he did against west brom to the Romans…poor finishing….but lets not start again about Arsenal and poor finishing. That seems to be a disease that we will never cure with Arsene Wenger as the Manager.

  46. David

We depended on Henry for years. Many predicted we will go to shite when he left.

    We didnt.

Even more predicted we will go to shite with flamster and Hlebidiot gone…

    We havent.

The season has been shite but we havent gone to shite.

    If that makes any sense.

  47. el tel

We don’t score because we have the prolific RVP up front. Only super goals from him and usually of his own making, this man doesn’t know where to run and always makes the passer look poor. Bendtner isn’t the answer yet but for me he makes space and lets other players into his game.

we seem to blame Eboue and co and rightly so for having so many chances in the team without improvement but we overlok RVP because we like him, yet he hasn’t improved one bit since being with us.

From earlier on too, let Kolo go play for ManShitty for all I care as he too is over rated. Willie Gallas has been great these last few months.

Almunia, enough said about this tosser, beaten on his near post yet again.

  48. Maciek

Hi guys!Long time since my last post but I’m still standing-LOL.
I have got one very strange question to You all. I have heard that many football players who come to England, and got any problems with new environment spends his first few months with English family. This family supports the team for which this new player plays. Is this true?

  49. Pedro

Maciek, not sure if that matters. I think lots of people do the whole surrogacy thing for young people… I’m sure Arsenal take care of the families!

  50. Maciek

Thanks Pedro.Well, every player who plays for us, says that we are a family Club, so I’m sure, You are right.

  51. Big Raddy

El Tel. I thought of you when Beachboy got beaten at his near post I know you are a fan.!

Maciek. Hope all is well with you.

  52. Maciek

Thanks Raddy!Well I’m depressed and right now I have a very difficult period in my life, but I love this blog and read it every day.

  53. ethangunner

Maciek, not sure if that matters either for the money most of them are on they can buy a small country – dome it off and create there own currency within it …

the truth is when you have obscene amounts of money settling in problems is a pure myth !

  54. Stu

I dont beleve the saying Money cant buy happiness. There may not be happiness in a jar at the local shop but you can buy something to make you happy. Money would certainly help get over homesickness home.

  55. Stu

Not one to normally read any Caught offside posts i was to tempted to refuse just now. I caved in seeing as their post was titled “3in 3out”. No its not a porn link althought it wouldnt be an unusual one.

I commented and chose the following. Ethan you might agree with one of my outs.

    IN:
    Hangeland
    Rolfes/Alonso
    Huntelaar

    OUT:
    Silvestre
    Eboue
    Adebayor.

I found it so hard to narrow it to just 3 departures. I later added Song, Almunia and gallas for varying reasons.

I went for height and/or power in and shitness out. I also found it hard to just chose 3 players in but decided they would have to do.

  56. ethangunner

    stu precisely ..

money can buy you anything ! and most women are only motivated by it .. so money can buy you love.
give me a dollar for every time ive seen a man lose his job and cash flow and then have his girlfriend dump him …

also most arsenal player rise from obscurity .
so when the move here they know they will be on far more cash than previously . all human beings are motivated by money ..

and i dont believe hleb was stupid enough to blame England only , i think he just didnt have the balls to admit to the public that he wanted to leave a club that lacked ambition .

theres such a thing as central heating .
and germany and russia are not exactly warm countries either !

  57. ethangunner

i agree with all .. stu

also kluse is doing well for bayern !
    and we cannot forget villa
    (mainly for cesc also )
he would be very handy also ..

i think your right about almunia , i get worried when i see him on the pitch nowadays ..

we have too many average joe blows in the team
to class ourselves as top guns ..

i haven’t bothered preaching it for a while because i feel we are no where near matching man U for class .

i wouldnt be unhappy if we landed Huntelaar either , he has the class that our team requires .

  58. Stu

    Glad you agree Ethan.

I also agree about us having not much class anymore.
Our curent crop are mostly back-ups at best imo. One day some of them maybe but not mow and not for us.

Cesc, Rosicky when fit, Eduardo and now Arshavin. IMO the only players that can even be mentioned as top class nowdays. All the others would be more suited to a mid-table to Europa cup regular team.

Arsenal the club and us the fans deserve better than this dross that we are exposed to on a yearly basis.
Not since the invincibles era have we had classy players. All have since departed and each left an expanding gap which has eventually resulted in us having to fight for a CL spot.

  59. patthegooner

    Fucking Hell

Dos Santos has left the Spuds to go on loan to……..Ipswich. I guess anything is a step in the right direction after leaving the Spuds…..

And some people questioned whether we signed the right Mexican.

  60. Stu

Haha Ipswich! Fucking brilliant. He was right to leave for a bigger club.
There is certainly a better chance of CL football at Ipswich that at Tottenscum.

  61. ethangunner

my point precisely , whilst the likes of the chev’s and man U have strengthened still !, the gap is not only widening in 1 direction i feel its widening in both directions .. we have got less class , whilst they have got more ….

it makes a gap turn into a valley … and to think we can still make that jump this season is almost delusional .

i would add nasri ,theo and vela to the class category too, but still a lot of players have to still improve ‘A LOT’ before we can classify them as the next zindane’s ..
