I’m happy with what Arsene has achieved in his tenure, I’m just not crazy about the last 4 years, too much praise for anyone is not a good thing, sometimes people have to be challenged, especially when they earn £6million a year (£115,000 a week) and do what they want, especially when all can see we need a few players including the media, all the commentators and several ex Highbury legends, so being critical and challenging isn’t a crime, it’s healthy.
I remember fat Frank Lanpard swearing allegiance to Ranieri, then Maureen, the Grant, then Fat Phil and now the Dutchman, footballers praise whoever picks them, remember Beckham and Sven, then he swore allegiance to MacClaren and now his best mate is Coppello, the mind of a fickle footballer is one of knowing where your bread is buttered.
However that was just a retort to young Mr Clichy and not a pop at anyone.
Big game tomorrow and I expect nothing but a convincing win, I’ll be there doing my bit and I hope to see a great game, we have bundles of talent, maybe we should give Jay Thomas a run out, or Coquelin or even Murphy who scored a cracking goal against the Spuds midweek and looks a real prospect, and he’s been off for a year, welcome back son, you made thousands of spud haters happy with that goal!
The great news is that Cesc is back kicking a ball and should be in the team for the next round of the Champions league, once we have taken care of Roma that is, Eduardo and Theo will be back tomorrow so maybe they could feature against Roma as well.
Either way, from tomorrow we have a fun filled week of football and much to look forward to, I fly back to Blighty this morning and look forward to getting away from the cold and rain of Spain, again.

As always it’s difficult to predict Wenger’s lineup, especially in the FA cup. RVP should captain the side tonight. If Ramsey doesn’t play I guess it will be song, although I’d like to see Wilshere and Ramsey on late in the game. Ramsey in the middle and Wilshere on for Theo.
Maybe Sagna will come on for Walcott pushing Eboue into Wenger’s favoured position for him. Eboue should be given the right back slot today to rest Sagna and considering both Arshavin and Walcott will be available (hopefully no more injuries to Walcott)for our next EPL game, Eboue should be given 90 minutes today, and come on as a sub against Roma.
Goonerman, if Cesc, Arshavin, RvP and Nasri have an injury free 2 months, then the CL final could be a real possibility.
I don’t think any of Arsenal’s managers can beat the wisdom of Chapman Pedro, but hey if it does it’s just an added bonus for me.

I would have Arshavin in the side. He can’t play on Wednesday but needs as many games as he can get. He is getting better game by game and wouldn’t let us down. He was only ineligible for the Cardiff game because it was a replay and he wasn’t registered before the first game.

how can anyone praise a manager who hasn’t won anything in four seasons, and has sold the most integral players and not replaced them with anything of immediate quality, instad preffereing to wait on young talent working through, then when it does they are inevitably sold. Wenger isn’t a great manager more like an amazing salesman, and I would be so annoyed paying my thousand pounds for a season ticket to watch what is, in all effect compared to arsenal teams of years gone by, nothing more than a reserve team.

One the negative side I can see a starting line up consisting of Eboue in RM and Song in CM. Surely he must rest Denilson tomorrow as he will be vital on Weds. At least De Rossi is out. Song and Diaby in the middle, Vela and Arshavin wide, RvP and Bendtner up top, with EE, Gallas, Djourou and Gibbs at the back.
Then Walcott and Edu can get a run and maybe Nasri, Ramsey or Denilson can come on if needed/for a jog depending on the game situ.
