Fear not Souleymane Bamba from somewhere in Scotland is on the radar!

by & filed under Uncategorized.

Yes it’s true, Kolo Toure is urging Arsene Wenger to buy Souleymane Bamba from Dunfermline, this nugget from the Ivory Coast plays in central defence and can also operate in midfield so would solve our problems next season, and with the Cup of African nations coming up this could be the perfect time to buy him.

Right that hopefully will be todays only red herring, but I thought I would let you all know early on, talk of Bendtner out and Villa in is as ridiculous so that’s as far as I’ll go with that one.

Gazidas has told the press that Arsenal are being really kind to their loyal fans by freezing the price of season tickets, as they really don’t have to because they have 47,000 mugs queueing up for them, how gracious Ivan, you should be reducing the price, not freezing it.

I never understand why prices continually go up, do your salaries? I would think many out there are fighting to keep their jobs and business’s afloat, do pensioners get big pay rises?

I would like to propose we put BBC reporter Matt Barbett in the chump box this week for his interview yesterday with the mother and sister of the family of 6 that were killed by the Portuguese truck driver, he was interviewing them and I could barely watch and at the end he says to the sister, ‘do you forgive him?’

She naturally said ‘NO’ he then said ‘why?’ If I were there I would have ripped his useless pony arsed head off, what a callous prick, can you imagine it, if it happened to me I would hunt the guy down and rip him to shreds, and Matt Barbett wants to know why they couldn’t find it in their hearts to forgive.

Back to football, I just put that in because life in this country has gone beyond a PC joke. It would be like asking David Cameron if he forgave god for dealing that poor little boy such a cruel fate, why can’t the media leave people to grieve and re-build their lives, why the constant intrusion?

This is what they do to Arsenal, never the Mancs, never the spuds or scousers, always us, they can’t leave us alone, if I were Arsenal I would get myself a decent agency to handle the press, and yes Ivan, I am available.

Fulham up next and Hangelaand fancies his chances, well Alfie I’m not going tomorrow, not because I can’t stomach another nil, nil bore, but more because I am beginning to think I am the Jonah, the last game I missed was Cardiff and we scored 4, so tomorrow I’m seeing if it is in fact me.

Also I will be around to police the site and join in the merryment of what I expect will be a royal tonking, maybe 6, I fancy our new boy Arshavin to shine and maybe some of the others to step up. I would think that Denilson gained some confidence and if Diaby was then fit maybe the two of them can have another go, but he’s not so not why not try Nasri in the middle with Vela and Arshavin on the wings?

Either way we are in the process of getting our big guns back and hopefully seeing less and less of Pinky and Perky.

Have a happy Friday Grovers, my absence tomorrow may just do it.

I went to the store the other day, I was only in there for about 5 minutes and when I came out there was a damn motorcycle cop writing a parking ticket. So I went up to him and said, ‘Come on buddy, how about giving a guy a break?’ He ignored me and continued writing the ticket. So I called him a pencil necked nazi. He glared at meand started writing another ticket for having bald tires!! So I called him a horse shit. He finished the second ticket and put it on the car with the first. Then he started writing a third ticket!! This went on for about 20 minutes, the more I abused him, the more tickets he wrote.

    I didn’t give a damn.

My car was parked around the corner…

But Steve, Rosicky and Hleb were quality for us when they played. It just so happens that one is injury prone and the other has sensitive ears. Even Jens was a mad fucker, but i suppose thats what made him so good…in a way.

  3. nick

did you see jens in the paper last week, strikers boot came off so jens chucked it on the roof of the net and the striker didn’t see him do it so was walking about like a tit trying to find it and was told to get off pitch until he found what he was looking for and jens got caned for being unsportsmanlike i thought it was fucking funny

  4. Stu

Ya Nick, i saw the clip. It was fucking brilliant. His shoe landed on the roof of the net but i suspect Jens was aiming for the crowd.

  5. Wardo

Nick I saw that…its on youtube. I thought it was so funny that jens trotted off after his boot as soon as it came off………think he would have thrown it into the crowd but, thought better of it!

  6. Steve

Rosicky would have to have a few good seasons now to be considered any type of success as he is perma-injured. The only thing I can really remember him doing since he was here is porking some prostitutes and hitting a belter against Hamburg.

Let’s hope so ArsenalTom. By then we may see the heartbeat of our team restored, that is our majestic catalan. Throw in our Croazilian marksman and those northern monkeys(either of the two sets of monkeys) will be on a hiding to nothing.

It’s a relief Diaby’s fit for tomorrow – maybe that means we don’t have to endure Eboue AND Song.
Let’s have more of the same as for the first 70 minutes of Tuesdays game and give them Cottagers a seeing to.

my only gripe about delinson is that i think he topsclass dm a good player but not topclass i heard the kalou wants to come to arsenal but what position he play i never sean him play to be honest

  10. denilson (formerly known as ebookreader)

Sorry to spoil your day Steve, Evening then.

I think with Arshavin, no need for Eboue on RM

  11. Wardo

Arsenal Tom………No but, my parents lived there before I was born. Anyway, dont class that as chigwell…..ha ha. Hope you dont take offence mate

  12. Wardo

    Nick….great answer!!

Irish…..think of something, sililar in shape to a bell end……..it like calling someone a nob!

  13. Stu

I would have him back Nick but 8m is a lot for Wenger to pay for a defensive player…especially one that we already had. An expensive mistake.

  14. Wardo

Nick….probably get shot down for this comment but……… I seriously think Denilson will be as good as Flamini for the following reasons:

    1) Flamster had only 1 great season.
    2) he was older than Denilson during that season
    3) Denilson is getting stronger every game.

Next year, we wont need flamster….unless Denilson is injured imo

  15. Stu

He did the same when at Marseilles and will probably do the same when his contract is running down at Milan. I’d still like to have him back tho because he WAS one of my favourite players of last season.

  16. Stu

Not me, i always liked that he worked hard and even before last season there were climpses that he and Cesc had chemistry together. Not to mention his versatility.

  17. nick

i know what you mean stu i just felt let down by him he kept teasing us over the contract and then left us in the shite coz of him we ended up with song.

Diaby is available, which I am sure will mean that you want to change your prediction, so what will it be?

    Here’s mine

    ——–Almunia
    —Sagna,Toure,Gallas
    Eboue,Denilson,Diaby,Nasri
    —–RVP,Arshavin

  19. Stu

Why not throw Gibbs in at left back for his superior crossing ability, or even Eboue at right back because chances are Fulham wont do an awful lot of attacking.

  20. Stu

Isnt it odd how on a site that usually only talks football that today there has been Jokes, Smilie face discussions and naming good looking celebs yet there has been hardly any football discussed. Ah well….it is a friday after all.

  21. A

great news about diaby, i’d imagine will be same team as against roma now then, though maybe different formation. Unless vp is rested

  22. GMR

Tom – looking like that he could only be a Spuds fan. He can’t even put a proper sentence together, how proud his mum must be, thats if he knows who she is.

  23. Stu

GMR, how did you find that shit?

Fat little cunt. You can tell that he was trying to make it seem as if he was just messing about but that he was still trying to sound good….trying tho because he was well shit!!

Dont know how he got so fat tho because he appears to be poor. Shit looking house with wrecked walls and an away sit baby blue spurs rag. Fat fucker.

  24. A

and to you nick. I’m really hoping for a top performance tomorrow, diaby is a big boost if he can replicate tuesday’s performance. I’m playing football tomorrow so won’t be able to watch the game even streaming, not sure whether to try and avoid hearing any scores and watch it in full on football first, avoiding hearing anything could be troublesome, and we generally lose when i try and do that as well!

  25. A

ha yeah i have found it very hard to concentrate in some games, got in trouble with the gaffer for keeping running over to the side asking for constant updates from my brother who was watching.

Yeah i’m sure he will irish, don’t see how he wouldn’t, made a big difference midweek. I wonder if we will go for a 4-3-3/4-5-1 type thing like at roma, and wonder if vp would be rested. I’d like to see vela and bendtner up top together.

  26. A

yeah but arsene doesn’t do the head to head thing irish, they’ve done it before with people who end up not in the team. i’ve got a feeling he could be rested, or on tuesday. I thought he looked tired against roma.

  27. Ja_Gunner

Hey I think Wrado is unto something with his 3-4-3 formation against ultra defensive teams.

Hoe about this team for Sunderland.

    …………Al…………..

    Sagna……Djouoru……Clichy

    ……….Gallas/Kolo……….

    Nasri…..Diaby…..Denilson..Vela

    …………Arshavin…………

    ………..RVP…………………

  28. Arsenal Tom

GMR yeah it was listening to him repeat himself ‘were gonna fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffraaaaaaaaash you arsenal’

    bloody window licker

  29. irishgunner

A – Just when I check they get it right but then again I don’t check too often :D So if we take out RvP:

    ———— Almunia —————

Sagna ——-Gallas —- Toure ——– Clichy

    ————–Denilson——————–

    Nasri ——– Diaby ————–Arshavin

    ————–Bendtner ——- Vela
