I can’t see us signing a keeper, I think Almunia’s appointment as VC speaks volumes there and I can’t see him signing a forward with Eduardo on the mend, Theo coming back and the likes of Simpson and Barazite on long term contracts.
I haven’t given up on Arshavin and Arteta and I honestly think at least one of them could happen, but wouldn’t it be great, if just once he gave us the fans what we want and signed them both, Arteta just has the edge with his premiership experience but I wouldn’t kick either of them out of bed.
Don’t raise your hopes there Grovers, it wouldn’t surprise me if he signed no-one, but then at the same time it wouldn’t surprise me if he surprised me by signing three players, does any of that make sense?

Any player that comes in in Jan will need to be able to hit the groung running but at the same time we need to start preparing for next season now. Buying from the prem is the smartest thing to do. Short term loans would be the best thing to seriously go for 4th. Forget the kids develpoment, we need to cement 4th and worry about feelings last. A player like Song (Gilberto) is why other players feel free to play attacking football. Why are so destructive on this guy – it is not like he isn’t doing his best for the team. He plays a certain role, he does look slow at times but I thin this is actually misleading, he is very young but already has good positional sense – and when he matures (by playing) he will free-up Fabregas to move more forward.
I think Nzogbia would help. Can’t see Arteta working-out in the long-run unless Wenger is already thinking of selling Cesc!
