Ok for the first time this season I hope and pray that Wenger puts out a young side in order to experiment for the ManU game that we all expect to lose, but in reality must win if we want to have any sort of a sniff of the Premier league come May.
I’m not sure who’s injured and who’s banned but I expect he’ll play Robin up top and I hope he puts Carlos Vela alongside him, I hope Ade will be fit for the Mancs and if he is I expect him to play Diaby in the hole and play 4-5-1, by blooding Vela he gives himself an option to play Vela and Bendtner up front and play a 4-4-2 and maybe surprise Ferguson, but he has to give it a go tomorrow.
Where I hope to see changes are in midfield and at the back. If fit I hope we have a midfield which accommodates Nasri, Diaby, Cesc and Theo, if Theo’s out then I would hope for Wilshere to take his place, I read that Bischoff was a star against Fulham but Banfield says he’s not ready, but I would sooner see Bischoff in the mix than Song and if not Diaby then put in Ramsey.
At the back it’s time to bring on Djourou with Gallas, or Djourou with anyone and the full backs of Clichy and Sagna or Clichy and Eboue if Sagna doesn’t play, and finally, drop Almunia and give Fabianski a go, Almunia needs a bit of competition as his last two games have been complacent or shit, you choose.
We created nothing against Stoke and that’s a worry, Wenger’s selection bordered on ‘I’m the greatest and whoever I pick will work’. That’s not good enough, it didn’t.
In his last two games, he has blamed his team for being unintelligent and lacking maturity, the lacking intelligence was him and his crazy substitutions and the lacking maturity was again him for not buying, that said he has a chance to try out some of the young players we know can make a difference, Wilshere starred against Madrid and we all know that Djourou is a stopper that can head the ball and Ramsey chose us over the Mancs and he will be up for that game.
Vela could work with a number of players and I bet Nasri is chomping at the bit, we know we’ll qualify in Europe but we can’t afford to lose to the Mancs, so Arsene pick a team that can score, the team you picked against stoke couldn’t have SCORED IN A FREE WHOREHOUSE, so make amends tomorrow, the chances are running out and the cupboard is bare.
Bring on the real kids and not those whose name begin with SONG. Song may not be a bad as I say, but the team doesn’t function well when he’s in it, it’s as simple as that.
Time to make us look attractive again and start having a pop, if there’s anything we can learn from watching the Spuds, it’s have a shot, sometimes it works, three of their four goals all came from shots outside the box.
Set pieces are clearly not for Kolo, he looked like a spanked child when the Delap throw went over his head, the Mancs will chew us up if he’s in the back four, make amends and see what happens before our season ends, please.

Both games were a disgrace for different reasons. Spurs should have been hammered but a few lucky as fuck touches and they raped the team of 3points.
The Stoke game because we all saw it coming except Wenger. He tried to play a tall team and completely neglected that the team he picked was crap. Toure may out muscle a lot of players but Ric Fuller is certainly not one of them and Kolo doesnt have the height to deal with a high ball.
IMO Toure is just a recovery defender. Not that good of a defender but his pace keeps him out of trouble. Almunia is hopeless at coming for balls and we knew that too but Wenger stuck with him instead of the better equiped Fabianski. And th3 midfield was just useless, providing the forwards with nothing to work off of.

Well as for coverage. I can watch Arsenal playing thanks to Polish Canal+( and we must pay 40 dollars per/a month to be able to watch it). Maybe for most of You it’s not a big money but here in Poland it is. I don’t want Wenger’s head, I am just pissed off with our current results as is Wenger
and I want him to get us back to winning ways, I am surprised by your comment since most London fans would not want Wenger’s head, they just want the team to start winning again. Wenger knows a lot about football but at times he is an idealist, and tries to re-write the way football should be played.
Without Wenger there would never have been flowing attacking football or the great teams we had in the past.
Wenger has the belief of a religious person in many ways, he is so assured that the youth who he has trained will win trophies and that it’s us that cannot see the light. He was always a bit like that, he turned Henry into a striker, but the trait of belief while being something admirable can also be costly.
In the past we had a solid first 11 and a team of youth coming through, now that so many youth are first 11 players, it has made the impact you might expect of rookies, they get it wrong more often than the experienced pros because they’re still learning.
If we had a rock solid first 11 and all these super talented youth as squad players gradually filtering through it would not be such a shock to the system.
The biggest problem is that expectations were heightened, that these young guns are winners from the get go, and we all know it takes years to perfect your technique.
We’re out of the title race out the moment, we need 24 points on the trot to be back in contention, as Geoff said a few weeks ago, Wenger made his bed, he must lie in it.
Come January the fans expect players to help stabilise the team, we were down to the bare bones at one point last season, we cannot allow this to happen again. We know in which areas we need a boost in, so does Wenger, even the board are saying, please mr. Wenger, keep our club at the pinnacle of world football, if we drop it will be very difficult to get back up there again. Look at how many years Aston Villa and Everton have struggled without success. Players stayed at Arsenal to try to win trophies, if in summer we’re on Skid Row, the buck stops at Wenger, and if he isn’t prepared to try new things out…..we all know the score. I’d hate to see a manager of Wenger’s calibre being ousted by boos….I don’t believe it’s too late, we can still survive in the top four, but with so many youths I cannot see how inconsistency will not plague us, plenty of ups and downs, smiles and frowns because the team is very talented, but where’s the leader on the pitch? We could do with someone like John Terry, sure he is unpopular with Arsenal fans, but he’s a hero to Chelsea fans. Why? Because he gives everything for Chelsea. We need someone like that, someone that we love and that no one else likes, someone to push the team forward.
I honestly think Fabregas should be rested for this game. Although maybe its not the fact that he’s tired physically. He’s just fucking tired of playing with a player who isn’t good enough to anchor the midfield and let him play his game

Fair comments, you’re entitled to your view, I respect your viewpoint too, but I feel it is symptomatic of being pissed off rather than the solution. But hey if you really want Wenger out so be it, if anyone ever wanted Wenger out, now is the time to say so.
There are reasons, but this is football, and there are downs as well, it’s all part of the game, think of all the teams we’ve beaten over the years, they had their bad streaks too.
I agree that we need to use the transfer market to improve the team, at the moment
we need to focus on what we don’t have now. Of course use the academy to produce talented players, but forcing it is proving to be counterproductive. Maybe one or 2 can come through every year, but the rest can be sold onto teams like Charlton who need players like Song and by selling a few such players this would contribute towards the transfer kitty. Sure, prices are high, but we can produce talented young players for clubs like Charlton at a price and pay todays prices for top stars. An Arsenal academy player could sell for half a million plus, train more youths to sell, keep the very best ones and that’s already a profitable model. If the club attracted more local youths, that would be a good solution, train 50-100 youths a year, sell them onto league 1 and 2 clubs, Belgian division 2, anywhere, but pile ‘em high sell ‘em cheap.
And then buy a world class player from the profits.

First off all I shouldn’t have written in Polish( that’s my fault but I have said sorry and everyone on this blog can be sure that it won’t happen again, so once more sorry for this mess). I think that it’s the best Arsenal blog, and one of this blogs where You can criticize everything Wenger is doing wrong. And as You mentioned i’m entitled to my opinion,so it’s fair to say that A.W. time at Arsenal is over. He is so stubborn, that it’s hard to describe. He says-Trust me and I will deliver- but come on- we going in the wrong direction. And that’s my biggest concern. I will still support my team but can’t he really see that we don’t make any improvement? 2 central defenders, 2 cdm and an attacing midfilder and a gk and we are safe and “home and dry” but we all know that it will not happen.
And when we lose Fabregas we will back to square one, and he will never stop building his new side. We do need many fresh ideas, and he is finished for me because he will never learn. Maybe when we end up outside the top 4 it will be a “wake up call” for him. That’s just my humble opinion.
P.S. thanks for Your response, You can always respond if You want. And what do You think about our league- who are going to win it? Legia, Wisła, or Lech, maybe other team?
