We make money, lots of it, why?

by & filed under Uncategorized.

Well two reasons really, we don’t spend any and we pay shed loads to watch, so please don’t tell us how clever you are Arsenal, it’s not rocket science is it.

Well today is a big test to see what this team is made of, whilst Bolton aren’t the team of bullies they used to be under the fat slug Allardyce, they still put it about some, so we’ll need to be at our best to beat them.

This would be a great game to play Djourou or maybe Sylvestre, Rosicky, Diaby, Nasri and Bishcoff, oops, sorry, we can’t can we because the truth is, they don’t exist, they were all made up by Arsene Wenger to make us believe we signed someone, good ploy Arsene, but I think I’ve finally sussed you out.

Another stupid time to be playing football 5.30, and it coincides with the Ryder cup, but having said that, the cup is going so badly, I for one could do with a diversion.

I’m thinking 3-1 to us today with Muamba to show us why we shouldn’t have sold him, I always rated that kid and I think we should have kept him, at least he’s not always injured.

Well done Arsenal for making all that money, but as you don’t pay dividends, why?

Have a great Saturday Grovers, and Arsenal and European double today I feel.

george – it will indeed, and i think we will win, and by a few goals. Its away at Bolton, yes, but it is not the middle of winter and its still warm – no howling winds, or rain to contend with…..

    We will shine tonight :)

  2. kelsey

goonermichael i am in my late fifties, father of 4 2 grandchildre,5 dogs and I still love arsenal after 50 years of following them, like a little boy when they lose, elated when they win and george Graham came to my wedding.Am I too old for this site :)

  3. goonermichael

Ive just turned 50 this year. course you’re not too old. You’re never too old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except to get a junior gunner ticket maybe

  4. Sion De Freitas

Djourou could have been a good choice to play today, Wilshere should be a good option aswell, why dont we fuckin play the kid, hes stronger than they think lol.

We aren’t playing especially badly, but i wish we would defend set pieces better.

  5. WengerTheTightArseGit

im a lil late but fukkkkin hell,,,i still cnt bleev eboue scored! it looked offside though. i don’t understand why peeps hate bendtner…he’ss scored some important goals e.g villa, sp*ds

  6. Evo in Oz

Wenger just needs to buy nolan and davies so they can never score against us again. or we just get better defenders….whichever is easiest!

  7. Stu

Bendtner is fantastic. He is a genuine goalscorer. He is our only forward who just wants to shoot. Sure, Eduardo is prob the best finisher but all of our attackers bar Nicklas want the perfect goal.

Plus, wtf is going on. Its like a parrallel universe. Eboue fucking scored (even if it was offside shhh)

  8. Evo in Oz

studds in, that had eduardo written all over it. problem was clichy stepped on the ball and that got his foot in the way

  9. Stu

Fucking dirty scumbag Davies nearly broke Clichys leg. The way his leg looked reminded me of the Dudu incident. Pure disgusting

  10. finestcuts

Try and mash Arsenal up, I felt an injury but that would have been too predictable, if Clichy is off Gallas to the left and Djorou in the middle.

  11. choy

fuckin bolton.. same dirty challenges.. hope gael is fine..

cmon lads.. we can rape these fuckers…. great goal for nick… eboue got a goal as well… offside.. but who cares!!!

  12. kelsey

BEST 10 MINUTES THIS SEASON,EBOUE AND BEDTNER PLAYING REALLY WELL,DEFINITELY NEED A THIRD GOAL AS THOSE 2 WILEY CUNTS DAVIS AND NOLAN ARE DANGEROUS.DEFENCE STILL LOOKS VENERABLE,THOUGH GREAT TACKLE BY TOURE.CESC STILL LOOKS A LITTLE BELOW KEY,WE NEED ANOTHER GOAL.

  13. MM

Have to disagree was a foul, but it also was a ball Davis had to go for. I agree with the comments about nicky b he is a much better prospect than ade. Good half lets hope for a few goals second half. would be great to see fab4 really domanate the second half.

  14. Evo in Oz

hopefully we win and then those 2 cunts kick the crap out of each other in tomorrows game and have a 0-0 draw and we stay top o the league

  15. hounddog

Let’s hope Clichy is ok and nothing serious. I am watching on German TV and they are saying he has a huge lump on his shin. Pretty painfull I would imagine. We need a 3rd goal to calm things down.

  16. patthegooner

Who the fuck is that scottish commentator, I think it is completely irresponsible to say there was nothing wrong with that challenge. It was a RED CARD. I hope Clichy is not out for too long, at Silvestre is close to fitness

    As for the half

To not have a man marking their most potent weapon was unforgiveable.

    Eboue is growing on me

We should put at least 5 past these

Denilson’s passing is all too often shocking, but there are good moments too

    Song I just dont get,

    Well done Nic Bendtner

Come On Arsenal lets punish these northern thugs.

  17. gnarleygeorge9

    Evo

Been with the boys on the sauce tonight watching the Hawks, but back here in time to watch the beloved. Need a 3rd to settle things me thinks.

Is Geoff off colour about about Great Britain, whoops sorry, I mean Europe

  18. ethangunner

almunia has had a good match so far !
he’s made some saves that would of had jens struggling !

and how about that the pass master must be reading le grove !
good game from him even thou it was clearly offside by a mile !

Bends ! with a killer goal ! from a denilson set up !
    denilson delivers !

hope clichy is ok ! but it doesn’t look good !

  19. patthegooner

It was a ball Davies had to go for, but it was a two footed lunge which is a red card offense.

So now we lost a 1st choice left back and Davies probably scores in the 2nd half

  20. patthegooner

Just dont rate him Hounddog, I did not see him do too much right either, he is like an anonymous player on the field.

  21. kelsey

Give toure some credit, that was a great shot only a foot wide andthe tackle was great, but we must watch dead ball situation
CLICHY GONE TO HOSPITAL FOR X RAY

  22. Stu

Great linking between the front 2 and even Song is doing well in attack. Now that Clichy is out for God knows how long, who is gonna play LB for the rest of the season. Surely not Gibbs or A recall for Troare. At least with JD playing we should do better from set-pieces.

  23. Stu

its probably down to his lack of even half of a preseason but Fabregas hasn’t played well all season. He has kept everything to a minimum and doesn’t stick out as much as we are used to seeing him do. Maybe he should get a rest against hull next weekend but only as long as someone else comes back from injury. Merida stepping up maybe. Shouldn’t be too hard a debut.

  24. Stu

I would have taken Ade off for Vela. He and Nik were great together in preseason. But if that sub happens now, we will have Theo and Vela up front.

Why does Wenger refuse to play Vela more than a few minuter here and there.

  25. Evo in Oz

a couple of important points of note in the game:

    1. Song has had a hair cut
    2. J Lloyd Samuel from bolton looks a bit like Ryan Babel

  26. rico01

Ok, I think this result is just top drawer, as we are still not firing on all cylinders, and how good does that feel….

Nik – Great goal – and I mean that, and played well aswell.
Ade – I thought he grafted like his life depended on it

Bac and Clichy – same old Mr Reliable
Gallas and Toure – did good, but we let a goal in??

Cesc – get your hair cut and get back to your best, but hey, we are winning
Song – he is Mr Cool, who breaks the oppo down
Denilson – not his best, but great goal
Eboue – MOM for me – but only for his goal, but to be fair, not too bad

Almunia – ok, silly little dart out of goal, but I really think he played very well, my real MOM

    Theo – Wonder Boy
Ramsey – He is going to be just fine
    JD – Confident……………..

Great result, away at Bolton and we are top tonight…. And all without Cesc being at his best

    Great time had by all……………..

Setanta – Sack the idiot Burley!!!

    :)

  27. Stu

Forget all the trophies he has won and all that stuff, the best thing that Fabio Capello has ever done is doing whatever he did ti Theo Walcott. Don’t know what happened while he was away but since he came back he has been excellent.

  28. hounddog

No one can accuse Ade of being selfish, he was nearly always looking for a team mate.. Sure we did not have a great 2nd half but fuck it, we won 3_1

  29. ethangunner

well lets hope Man U win tomorrow !
a tall order Vs chevksi at home ! but denying chelski 3 points would give us
    the lead !!!!

almunia played well ! he was roughed up by nolan on the set plays but didnt do a jens !
just beat them with skill !!!

ade good pass to denilson ! still scoreless but i think his best game so far this season !!!
he played more like an arsenal squad member !!!

  30. georgiaan-gunner

i like, eboue :) )):))he starts this season very well! we get silly goal, but worked well!
denilson 1goal1assist, once i see it already an’t I??and wenger surprise me, when brought JD on right flank and sagna on the left, for me there were many other and better options.
and at last, my prediction come true!!!

  31. kelsey

I feel we should all be proud of the boys this week only positives please.3 away games with an injury ravaged team.with 2 fine league away performances and a gusty draw in kiev.STAND UP FOR THE ARSENAL :)

  32. hounddog

Stu, forget Capello. Wenger has been doing the right thing with Walcott. Walcott now has confidence in his game that is the key factor.

  33. Evo in Oz

im hoping for a bruising nil-nil in tomorrows scum game. we’ll still be top and id prefer man scum further down the table than allowing them a win against the chavs

night all, back to bed for me – 430am here. ciao for now!

  34. SIMON MCAHON

davies is another dirty fucking no good carthorse like that bastard TAYLOR ,
CANT WAIT TO SEE SHIT LIKE THAT GO DOWN INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP,HOPE those other tossers that wear white join them!!!!!!!!!!!

  35. Gunner8

I still hate his character but Eboue is growing on me… …Denil Son nicely played MOTM

FFS Wenger is pretty brilliant, although he should hae brought Theo on at 60 not 70… …Adebayor is a waste of space Bendtner is already better than him, so there

Night all, off for some drinks!

  36. ethangunner

    gunner8
i agree ade is a waste of space , and for the intended plan B spends more time on the pitch than anyone ! but this is by far ades best game for arsenal , passed well for most of it .. only 2 off side’s the whole game ! was unselfish ! still couldn’t hit a fat girls ass with a cricket bat , but i think he deserves some credit this game ! … he didnt lose possession and that is a start !!!!!

but it is Bolton !!! so i think we shouldn’t get carried away like we just won the C.L !
in November we have 2 very hard games ! being consistent til the end of the season is a MUST !

    Rico !
i think youll find it was ade marking davies ! which lead to the goal !
he was matched up on him because of the height !

  37. Gooner07

Adebayor had a good game IMO! I have never seen as this dominating against Bolton (at least for a long time). We were both physically competent with our players expressing their technique to be deadly as a team.

  38. hounddog

ethangunner I fail to see how you can say Adebayor is a waste of space??? I just don’t understand some of you people. Oh well if we didn’t all have different opinions the world would be no fun!!!!

  39. maqitlarge

He said players shuold be allowed to make tackels like KD on GC and that the yellow card was a nonsense.
When ask if his team was over physical he said “what, you mean tackling?!!”

  40. hounddog

Anyone who says you should be allowed to make tackles like that does not belong in the game. I guess that is why the tosser is a manager at a “big” club like Bolton!!

  41. david

Wenger nearly fucked that up by changing both full backs , when he only needed to change one.
He stopped our outlet (Sagna) going down the right hand side, when the team he started with was already playing narrow without wingers.

  42. ethangunner

    hounddog

if you cannot see it .. you are not very observant !
hes in there to score , not be offside 10 times a game !
he plays more minutes than anyone else in the team , and has onlt came out 1 time
and was gifted a hat trick …

with the chances he has Vs conversion ratio , it is exceptionally poor !
    so argue with that !!!

but this game was his best by far !
but as a team its been the most dominant game by far !

also ask yourself this , did he get on the score sheet ?
he is a striker right ?????

  43. maqitlarge

Totally agree David. He made 2 changes when one would have done (Gibbs). We were playing well enough to compensate for this inexperience. Sagna didn’t look comfortable at LB at all. He was falling over himself at times. And moving there meant we had full backs who just defended, not the wing backs that are so important to our game. The first 20 mins of the 2nd half show just what our full backs mean to our play. I hope GC isn’t out too long. Any news anyone?

  44. rico01

ethan – fair point, but Ade is no defender, so i will forgive him…….. a little, but lets face things, we went to Bolton, a ground we have not always liked, and came away 3-1 winners, it aint all that bad… Ade was good….

Any Almunia doubters out there ?? Tell me he was not fab tonight??

  45. david

I like Almunia but he was out of position quite a few times tonight and I don’t see why he cannot deal better with the player blocking him at corners (Not the Lehmann way).

  46. hounddog

Ethangunner: I am just not going to waste my time discussing it with you. We won the game that is all I care about. If you don’t like the player than fine. Your opinion, definitly not mine!!
