It’s total crap – Fiszman.

by & filed under Uncategorized.

So after months of arguing with just about everyone on the internet that had a high opinion of themselves, we at Le Grove got it right again, we have bundles of dosh, this black hole that is Arsenal is as much of a myth as we have always said it is and now Danny Fiszman is saying it is, so who’s the real fibber in all of this? Who knows? Let’s leave it at that then shall we?

It will be interesting to read what others are saying now this has come out!

This is what Danny said with regard to our finances,

‘There is this constant thing that the Emirates is bleeding the club, that we’ve got these repayments — it’s total crap stressed Fiszman – look at our accounts and you will see our net payments are £20m and the revenue increase from the new stadium is close to £50m. Explain to me how the stadium bleeds the club if it’s producing an extra £30m a year’

Ok that’s the maths sorted out, he then went onto say,

‘It’s not our decision who he spends money on, nor will it ever be our decision. If he said to us ‘I want this guy and he’s £30 million, can I buy him?’ the answer is yes. Absolutely yes. We totally back him. It’s his decision’

So who’s the one we’ve said all along won’t spend money? You know, he knows and we know that he is determined to win something so he can say he did it without spending money, well that’s admirable to a point but when we win nothing as a result, year after year, it gets a little boring, especially when a couple of signings will do it. There’s still time, but for goodness sake if you do buy someone, make it a world class player please.

Don’t forget we got rid of 12 and brought in 4 and when you said we were short last year, what does that make us this year? You also said you were keeping the team together and no one was leaving…

The Champions league draw could have been better, but there again it could have been worse, the toughies for me are Kiev and Fernebache away, I got my wish as we get Kiev in September at least, so that takes away their winter advantage.

I watched the Twenty game again last night and was heartened, a few things, Robin is so close to getting a hatful and he brings others into the game so well, Theo was as impressive as Denilson wasn’t, but don’t you miss a lot when watching it live after a few cases of beer?

As many of you are saying, the Newcastle game will show us if the experiment will get us into the top four, but Arsene, go and spend some of our money, we really need to strengthen with some quality, and we need to do it quickly, Cana would do it, don’t say you need to find the right player, there are plenty around and you’ve had long enough.

I think if Diaby (who could be an answer) gets injured again then you need to sell him, his injuries are worse than Owen’s and Rosicky’s combined, we can’t afford a player like that, not with Robin and Tomas in the side we’re left too exposed, too often, I mean we are now, and the season has only just begun.

Have a great Friday Grovers tomorrow our season begins.

afternoon all, I have to say today’s comments are possibly the most entertaining ever! I managed to plough through the lot, on course for another grand of posts methinks.

You should frame GoonerBrian’s email to Arse.com, what a bellend that guy is.

On Fiszman, I think fair play to him for coming out with all that, he has shown PHW to be the dunce he is, and has turned all the responsibility for transfers back on to AW, where it always was.

His later comments though confirm the worst, AW won’t deviate from the ‘plan’. And after his comments about cash-strapped clubs being eliminated from UEFA, or at least ones with a huge deficit (ie Chelsea Man Utd), everything became clear to me.

Arsene wants to win the league by NOT spending money.

He is desperate to prove to the world that it can be done! He wants to develop the majority of his players, not buy them ready-made. The odd bargain like Nasri is fine, but on the whole he is attempting to stick two fingers up to Abramovich and Glazer.

He did the previously unthinkable going a whole season unbeaten – but this is his new personal challenge, one that has taken three years so far, will it take many more? We will see. But it’s clear that this is an overriding obsession of his. I think he feels that any twat can win the league by spending hundreds of millions, but to do it by training players up, well that is the ultimate prize for him now. Of course the CL would do just as well for him I’m sure. This is about him proving to his contemporaries that he was RIGHT.

How do I feel about this as a gooner? Well, if he managed it, it would definitely be the sweetest triumph ever, of that there is no doubt. Especially with the spuds forking out a shedload this season. But the doubts linger on, and I really am still praying that he finds a star midfielder (obviously a cheap one :P ) to provide the final piece of the puzzle.

I like Wenger, I find him highly intelligent, astute, charismatic, and driven. But one or two more defeats like Fulham and he is going to have a job convincing us of the merits of his approach. God knows enough people are fed up with it already. Three more days to seal the crucial deal, otherwise we better start praying for Diaby to suddenly develop the physical constitution of a rhino…

  3. chris

We are out to look, if we find the right players we will do it, one or two.

“However, I believe it’s more interesting for us to focus on our strengths and quality rather than looking outside. I know it makes headlines, but it doesn’t make you win games.”

    one or two signings?

  4. raif

the Transfer’s are starting to buzz comming up to the end.

and arsenal still sit on there hands. Boo Hoo.

Dead Line day is the day we sign somone.

    and still no signing :)

    Seb
I’ve been saying that all along. This is Wenger’s pet project to beat the chavski’s without spending the money. I hope he pulls it off but after Fulham (and before tbh) I doubt he cam

  7. Seb

cheers jason, well I like to read through ACLF as it happens, I have nothing against them whatsoever, but when people resort to openly slagging off other blogs I respond. I must give credit to the blog’s author for defending the rights of other blogs and blog writers to voice their opinions though, that was well done.

But I think Geoff and Pedro do a good job of making sure things run along smoothly, eg the Brian thing today. Everyone wants to put forward their opinion, that’s why we;re all on the net, but noone wants some moralist ramming it back down their throat. There are people on here that are a lot more aggressive and anti-AW than me, but I realise that’s how they feel and it’s no bloody business of mine to tell them to shut up.

In fact in some ways, being exclusively pro-Wenger is a bit like being in a religion – anyone that dares to contradict that faith gets short shrift from the believers, and very often religious people can be the most aggressive irrational hateful people on earth. And I’m speaking from experience! So maybe Le Grove is the home of the Arsenal Agnostic – a lot of us used to believe in AW but recently just aren’t as sure anymore ;-)

All we need is one miracle in the transfer market and maybe we can start believing again :-D

  8. kelsey

Thanks Pedro for helping an old man in distress.

Back to tomorrow, personally I hope Toure doesn’t play,he is not fit, maybe the malaria bug has sapped him and he is definitely overweight (and needs a new hairstyle)he needs to be at his best as he is still crucial to the team, and he was rushed back to soon after the ANC and again now.

    a stirring little baby !

also ! i saw him swear on gunner blog , the hypocritical twat ..
he was talking about grid iron and said ‘ fuck me sideways did you see that ? ”

hypocritical ball wrangling dick midget :)

  10. Jason

Seb, I read what Yogi said and I thought it was admirable. I think it is a shame for him that so many extremists post on his message board and talk about other sites?

    Football should be the topic.

I educated a few of them about Le Grove last night, and a lot of them didn’t realise this wasn’t and anti Wenger site. A few of them had to eat humble pie on the money issue. What was crazy is they were still trying to say that Danny must be lying and Wenger would spend money if he had it.

Someone accused me of making up a conspiracy!

It’s not a conspiracy, it is just Wengers masterplan that has been rudely interrupted by good business results.

NYmarcus and Muppet seem to be most strongly opposed, apparently they are offended by bad language.

Don’t go down the grove I suggest.

. yogi is not admirable !
if he was he would delete any starting debate about another blog in a negative manner ASAP ! !

his regulars sledge le grove off constantly because he refuses to delete there comments .
and trust me he can delete comments… he did it more than Geoff and pedro put together ..

  13. Rasputin

    Diaby,
Apart from the obvious fact that he is undeniably injury prone – how many times have you heard yourself shouting ‘man on’ when he dwells on the ball too long and loses it to the opposition. This is a regular feature of his play and yet it is obviously not being addressed in training, or if it is, he’s not learning his lesson!

The most important role of a DM is to win the ball and the next is not to give it away – and for me Diaby does the latter far too frequently. I know Denilson and Ramsey have been guilty of the same thing but AW has suggested that Diaby is the player who he thinks should be able to take over fro Flamini. I agree with many previous comments that the greates need for a new player is in this position.

Personally I’d love a player like Cana although I don’t know how much time he’d spend on the pitch on the Prem, but hold on – weren’t some of our best seasons punctuated by the odd red card?

  14. ethangunner

    rasp…

denilson – diaby – wont make it ..
they need to be sold .. if they dont show any aptitude this season they should be sold ASAP !

flamini only made it because he spent half a season at LB when clichy was injured !
toure can do it as he has played CD for years .. i s’pose even eboue has some defender in him .. All can fill the DM spot … ( as far as wenger thinks)

but im inclined to agree with pedro on denilson now , he played better V’s 20 .. but for me
he is too far behind ! diaby needs to go also !

there too old to be playing a bit part role for this club for another season
step up or fuck off !

  15. Seb

Rasputin, I share your pessimism about Diaby, but on the other hand he has blown me away sometimes. He has a right foot like a freight train and some outrageous skills as well. He also has the all important physical presence and height that we need in the middle. The negatives are that he has brittle bone disease and also as you say he can tend to dither in possession.

Whether he can tackle I’m not sure, that would be a serious failing.

But we don’t want a Makelele or Gilberto figure, we just want another class midfielder who can play our game, score goals, pass accurately, and help the defence. It’s not too much to ask is it. Flamini was all-action, he was seen in attack as much as defence, and whoever Cesc’s partner is must be his equal. Cesc is no baby now, he can get stuck in as well as create, you can see it in him, and the other midfielder must be cut from the same cloth. If Diaby rises to it, brilliant, and I wish I was 100% convinced he is the man for it, but so far I’m not.

  16. Rasputin

    Thanks ethan,
I’m not so sure about Toure in midfield – he tends to run round like a headless chicken and go ball chasing. He has also had a few lapses of judgement when he gets over excited – like the Carling cup final and giving away the penalty against pool (I know it may not have been a pen). I like him as a defender in the right pairing, but at the moment I think I’d persevere with Djourou as he is beginning to look like p ‘proper footballer’ in the arsenal mould

  17. Seb

    ethan

Denilson is 20, Diaby is 22 – how can they possibly be too old, when we are all complaining that our squad is too young???

Don’t sell them for gods sakes, keep them, they are both talented players – the key is that we mustn’t RELY on them imo. Sign someone else who can share the load and even be the first choice midfielder next to Cesc.

Even selling Phil would be stupid imo, he will be 24 when (if) he comes back, ffs this is the point where these players will only just start being good.

  18. ethangunner

    seb
    injuries aside !
diaby has never played a defensive role in his life !
sorry unless you want to drop cesc he has no reason to be in that team ..
or anywhere in arsenal’s midfield …
he cant play on the wings either ! central attacking is the only thing he is good for !
sure he showed potential SURE !but … we aren’t short of that thou are we ?!

he is a square peg in a round hole !

  19. Pedro

Ethan, I guess the question regarding Diaby is can he be taught to defend?

For me, defending is in the blood… you can’t teach someone bottle and agression.

I really rate Diaby’s potential, he is very skillful and his control at times can be amazing. His problems stem from holding onto the ball for to long and making poor 5 yard passes.

He doesn’t really fit the stereotype of a creative player either?

It’s difficult to know what the boss has planned for him.

Am I the only one who thinks it is about time Wenger started playing players in their natural positions?

  20. treze13

agree with seb i think they are good back up, i personally don’t like diaby or think he has enough quality to be in our first team but with our squad as thin as it is we night aswell keep him.

ethan – thanks for the guitar advice i got a strat and im slowly learning to play it

  21. Rasputin

    Yes Seb,

I suppose that we should remember that some players have emerged from the ranks and surprised us – who would have thought that the slightly nervous Clichy would transform into a far better LB thac C******y ever was.

Who knows Diaby may become a revelation, but I agree with you, we don’t have time to wait and find out.

The season has started and we’ve dropped 3 points in a game that should have been a banker. I’m hopeful that Ramsey (who has been likened to a young Gerrard) will learn the Arsenal way quickly and become a midfield enforcer – but that’s not going to happen over night.

  22. ethangunner

we need someone to sit in front of the back 4 ! A DM !
, all im saying is diaby is definitely not the answer

and i thought denilson would step up ( i was hoping he would , he should step up ! ) .. he comes from brazil , was a u18 captain .
he has the breeding but isnt delivering ..

if we keep on keeping these players , we are doing the same as wenger ..
    holding on to potential !

we need NOW PLAYERS ! haven’t you read the other 400 + posts ?!
they make our bench – 1st 11 look fragile !

  23. Pedro

I’m not sure about Alonso… We need more energy than that.

I think we will sign Alonso though… and an unknown from France or somewhere.

Now players is spot on Ethan… the days of waiting 3 years for a player to develop have past Arsene by… he doesn’t get rewarded for it anyway… they just fuck off somewhere else.

  24. Seb

Pedro that is a good point about defending being in the blood, Flamini was 100% a warrior and I wouldn’t put Diaby in that category. In fact I think Cesc has more warrior about him that Diaby. And as for Denilson he is less warrior and more hairdresser.

So we have 3 Cesc’s and no Flamini…. so why does Wenger keep saying that he thinks we have plenty in midfield? What is he seeing in training that none of us can see?

  25. Pedro

Seb, a lot of people have said they think Toure is Wengers 2008/2009 wild card!

I am not sure it would work… and I am not sure I’d want to see Wenger try… but who knows what a poor last T-day could do to him?

  26. ethangunner

messi is 22 and he has been playing for years it feels like
there are plenty of TOP CLASS players , diaby or messi ??

i would rather see jack brought up .. or even ramsey .. vela .. theo ..

i do like denilson, pedro will back me up on that , but we need now players ..

    PEDRO

Ethan, I guess the question regarding Diaby is can he be taught to defend?
i think the question is can we afford the time to teach him ?

i think we need ‘now players’ YESTERDAY PLAYERS :) ? .. we had the luxury last season of having
our team more or less unchanged from the previous season ..
But this season we are the ones who need to adapt quickly .
whilst chevski – man U can play there same football from last season ..

we have to re – invent the wheel .. and wenger didnt replace who left ..
he is hoping for them all to adapt to differing positions ! and quickly …

too much of a gambler for my liking ..

  27. Wolski

    evening all.
I listened to that Wenger interview….I am not sure he is planning on signing anyone. He said at one point 1 or 2 players, if they are right. Then he went on to say about focusing on the squad he has, then said definetely only space for 1 player. I think he is playing the crowd…keeping hopes up..only for the window to close and then say we tried to sign someone but we could not get the right player of the quality we need…..just wait…..he believes in his squad and growing a title winning side…..I am worried we are def. not strong enough when it comes to CL and PL games.

  28. Seb

ethan i wish people would drop this ‘sit in front of the back four’ thing

when did Flamini ever sit? The guy was all over the fucking place! Gilberto couldn’t get a game because all he can do is sit in front of the back four, and we have totally moved on from 2004 in terms of style! (sadly not in terms of trophies :-/ )

We need another all-action midfield terrorist who can also play our passing game – and quite frankly I could well believe that AW is struggling to find someone that fits this blueprint, they aren’t two-a-penny.

Cana Toulalon Veloso etc probably fit the terrorist part, but would they fit the passing game part and are they mobile enough? I don’t know, I’m asking…

  29. Pedro

Ethan, that line about the right players gets right on my wick.

There are loads of quality players out there, but Wenger doesn’t want that… he wants a brand new Ferrari for £2000.

It’s not going to happen Arsene! Sign some quality.

I can’t believe we would only offer £10mill for Alonso… that is a pitiful bid.

  30. kelsey

Can someone explain to me about this yogi charachter , ethangunner.

Diaby another enigma, agree that he holds on to the ball too much but always starts like a bull in a china shop for 20/25 minutes and then fades away. Not yet a 90 minute player.

Pedro, when you ask about playing the players in their rightful or best position, this has been a bone of contention with me for a long time.Is it because the squad is smaller than before and AW sees that as an alternative to buying, because that way he will become another benitez.I asked yesterday about bedtner, would you call him an out and out striker,I don’t really know what he is.

  31. Seb

sorry goonermike, it was a cheap shot, im sure there are plenty of hairdressers who would never have attempted a backheel on the edge of our own area on Wednesday ;)

Re Toure, well I’m sure AW has said in the past that Toure doesn’t have the stamina to play midfield for 90 minutes, so if that’s true and he puts him in, he is ignoring his own counsel.

There you go, I knew I could find it:

    http://www.arsenal.com/news/news-archive/wenger-toure-will-not-move-into-midfield

“Kolo is not a player with special stamina,” said the manager. “He’s more a guy with big explosive power but he’s not a long distance runner. Physiologically he’s not a central midfielder.”

oh and check this out from the same article:

“I’m not under any pressure,” he said. “I feel Diaby will be a fantastic central midfielder, as will Song and Denilson. And we have Fabregas of course.”

Didn’t he list Song as a central defender the other day? Make your fucking mind up!
Song would of course be the natural solution… if he’s up to it.

  32. Wrighty7

Hi Pedro/Geoff and Le Grove massive,

    Pedro,

I had to do something about that Man Ure blog. The man is obsessed by everything Arsenal!

    It’ll be a late one dead-line day!

  33. goonermichael

Doesn’t song play midfield fo cameroon? Surely he’s got to be a better temporary solutuion than eboue. I thought Denilson was meant to be a creative player rather than an enforcer. He looks tiny. Seb I wasn’t offended ( And I always was absolute shit at all sports) Just joking

  34. ethangunner

10 million was the magical figure, i calculated that we were up on !
he had 10 mil in the green for this seasons transfers to date !
    balancing the books ,

he was offering liverpoo what he had in the hand ! im sure of it ..
im sure he wont spend over 10 mil !

    well with senderos’s 1.5 mil

we can now spend 11.5 :)

    Seb ..
yes its more of a phrase than what really happens @ AFC!
but unless cesc and his NEW potential partner slide like bert and PV04 did
we will need a flamini replacement , who did sit in front of the defenders more often than not !

there was no need to lose flamini and diarra !
    pathetic really
i told pat this would happen October last year !
and half for ACLF ! and got heckled off the blog for it !

    you know pedro !
i know i dont need to tell you, but nothing wenger is saying makes any sense anymore.
id just rather he kept his mouth shut and just decline to comment !
i think it frustrates fans even more … every time he speaks !

  35. goonermichael

I enjoyed that too wrighty That mankunia site always has arsenal tags on it. I’ve abused them in the past.

  36. Seb

Hi Wrighty7, glad Le Grove isn’t despised by everyone else in Arsenal blogdom :)

Nice post btw, that mankuntia webshite is crap not to mention unpopular – the only way he can get hits is by referencing us and other clubs ^^

just stay here kelsey! and youll do just fine !
that blog is for a very rare breed of fan who just skates over the top of arsenal ..
almost like a selective memory disorder in the form of a blog ..

  38. Wrighty7

    Cheers my fellow Gooners.

Le-Grove is a great site, Geoff and Pedro have done a great job. Have a look around and you find that more and more people are begining to feel the same.

  39. Wrighty7

What i mean is, the Wenger tinted glasses that some people wear are beginning to wear thin.

No one wants Le Boss sacked, just realise that his way will be the toughest way to win things and the youngsters need a little help.

  40. treze13

wrighty people can’t help but lose the wenger tinted glasses really the mans gone mad denilson and eboue in midfielf was probably the final straw for most people

  41. Pedro

Wrighty, top post earlier mate! Had me in stitches!

About time someone gave them some back!

    Well played!

    I am off out now!

    Have a good evening everyone!

  42. Rasputin

Some of my thoughts on AW from earlier…….

I know we should be focussing on supporting the team for the weekend, but AW did state something to the effect that we would (not might) be making an important signing before wednesday’s game.

Please don’t insult our intelligence by suggesting that Sylvestre was ‘that signing’. So either he had his eye on a player that he felt sure would sign (Inler?) or he was just speaking optimistically and hoped some good performances might deflect attention away from the paucity of quality and experience in midfield. If that’s the case it hasn’t worked and if some observer’s specs have a rosy tint, I think AW’s must be totally blacked out.

One of the things that epitomised Arsene and made me proud to have him as manager was that he proved that you can be intellectual and manage a top class football team. He didn’t chew gum like a rabid camel, or shout and scream at players. He always found a way to support his players and coax the brilliance out them. I have noticed over recent seasions that he has become far more agitated on the bench. Facing up to Jol wasn’t a very good idea, and the sort of statements he has issued these last couple of months have been uncharacterisitcally inaccurate. It doesn’t appear that he has a lot of leisure time away from football, perhaps it would have been a good idea to spend a couple of weeks on a remote caribbean beach this summer instaed of TV punditry for France – I’m not being facetious, I don’t want him to go, but I don’t understand what he’s doing/saying at the moment and I know I’m not alone in that.

  43. paul

I love this site but need someone to explain how old the are the people who think it’s good to be first on the board.Do you think it will stop when the school holidays ae over?

  44. Jules1

    Rasputin,

Nobody understands it either. Particularly us Grovers. We want to win, and nobody else does, just support Wenger.

  45. choyy

hey paul its fun… its usually this lovely lady we have here called rico who’s always first.. we just try to beat her !!

  46. choyy

    Rasputin

well written… yes i think wenger has had to do too much.. fighting with his own players for pay rises.. contracts.. planning of transfers.. and everything else…

I think it is coz david left.. and now he has to do everything himself!.. and we haven’t won anything for 3 years so that’s even more pressure!

  47. Jules1

Rasputin, Do you think his days are numbered. Should we go for a british manager like Curbishely ? Somebody more in tune with the needs of the fans ?

  48. choyy

lucky fecker.. m at work.. bro.. will be here till you come back and sleep!!!

jules .. no.. he just needs to get a few things right… its like an army of ants.. slightly out of line..

a slight wack and he’ll be back on track again…

  49. Geoff

Hi Wrighty, thanks for the compliment! Evening Dennis, we didn’t see you on Wednesday, I’m off for a while, clients all day so I just popped in for a quick fix with my cyber mates, see you all later!

  50. Jezza

Sorry Maryland, I saw what you wrote and didn’t bat an eyelid, I assumed you were talking about their newscast!

  51. marylandgunner

Jezza . . . I am confused. Are you talking about my comment regarding FoxSoccer, or are you talking about my question as to who’s playing the game. I meant to say, what TV station is showing the game?

  52. dennisdamenace

Not a great deal choyy, just being all flash by posting from my iPhone while drinking Koppaberg pear cider in a bar……..happy days fella!

  53. Jezza

You said that people were being racist on the fox website, I initially thought you were talking about their newscast, which is a bit notorious for that type of thing anyway.

  54. dennisdamenace

wotcha Geoff, yeh I didn’t get back from Brussels in time, should be ok for a slice of S&B on Saturday though….

Gotcha. No, I normally just read the comments, but some bloke made a comment about Americans, and it was way over the top. I simply replied in kind, about the long standing good relations between the US and the UK. And the dude went off. I closed the page. Once was enough for me.

Their news can be spotty, and quite biased. The TV Reporters can’t stand Arsenal, and do not hide their feelings about LP, Chelsea, and Man U. We need our own “newscasters.”

  56. Jezza

Curbishley with a missile pointing at my family home and even then you’d have to send in your best negotiator.

  57. Rasputin

I wasn’t sure the Curbishley suggestion was serious, but I think most of us agree that he is a million miles away from being good enough for Arsenal.

  58. Jules1

    Rasputin,

Are you sure you are not an AKB in disguise ? you don’t come forward with anybody who can replace Wenger ?

  59. Rasputin

On a serious note, why didn’t we offer Tony Adams a job as defensive coach – he seems to be doing pretty well at Portsmouth, and he REALLY knew how to defend

  60. Seb

Wenger is keeping TA6 well away from the club, he doesn’t want the pretender to the throne anywhere near the throneroom.

  61. rico01

Rasp – did you get your laptop??

Pedro, did you get to send me choy’s address please, only checking as I havent had your email…

So Monday will be our busy day then, bugger I am out for most of it!!

  62. peachesgooner

    Seb

You make a good point. TA was captain for Arsene so there should be enough respect between them but I thought Martin Keown was doing some coaching for the defence

  63. rico01

And how much did you get conned Rasp ??

We just got a HP pucker one – and in a minute I will tell you how much for ;)

  64. rico01

choy – get on the back of old Pedro, he obviously works too hard….. I cat send this bobby book without knowing where to send it :(

  65. rico01

Im watching Bridget Jones No2 – AGAIN!! Having a good old cup of tea and a custard cream – then off to bed.. Early start for me in the morning – What about you?

  66. Pierre

well she stitched me up good and proper as you southern types allegedly say, she’s gone out to the Ann Summers, but booked me and the kids on a night nature ramble! Quality evening, but needless to say I didn’t get to drink anything alcoholic!

Still, the night is young and I got a box of red wine to sample.

  67. Sion De Freitas

    LMAO Scholes looool.

I think we need some players, but I dont think we need a midfielder that sits in front the back 4, although that would be a very good option to have. I think we will be alright eventually, but sometimes we must worry about what will happen.

  68. rico01

Mr Darcy if you please Pierre :) and I know you will not understand this, buy my, he is such a cute chappie – Mama Mia has changed him!! :)

  69. choyy

    i’m at work!!!

well weekend is just around the corner… long weekend at that…

    And we got a game tomorrow… !!!! yeah….

  70. Rasputin

I thought you were my new found mate rico! – I had to sell my beloved Fender Stratocaster (38 years old) on ebay to pay for my kid to go to college so I’m not happy to find I’ve just thrown away £203 c’est la vie (french for ‘I’ve been f****d)

  71. rico01

choy – sorry i forget the time difference, hope it goes quick and you have a fab long weekend :)

Geoff – big win needed, you are right :)

  72. rico01

Rasp – I am not going to feel bad, I did offer you some advice… ;)

I am sure she is worth every penny, and that is what matters :)

They also have a 19″ TV for £147 – Free view and HD ready etc etc, might have to induldge :)

  73. raif

Joe Todd – the stupid Manc is just twisting it trying to make out Wenger is attacking these clubs. when in fact he was asked a questions and gave his honest view of how it will pan out in years to come. and this Manc scum starts kaking his pants.

  74. Joe Todd

Yeah i saw the press conference.. Did anyone see AW take a nice little swipe at Chelsea at the press conference.

  75. Pierre

I fkn hate manure with a passion, for me manure are 10 x worse than the spuds, at least the spuds are harmless and funny, manure are pure fkn scum, poxy, rule bending ref intimidating, smug, fkn scum 100%, plus half the people at work support them, the way they did the double last year was so un deserved, an i got the piss ripped out of me because we finished 4 points behind them and went out of the CL to a set of thieving cheats!

I think this red wine is halping me to compose!

  76. rico01

Right you little terriers, I am off to get some sleep

You all have a safe night in where ever you are

    Catch you tomorrow :)

    Night night

  77. Rasputin

    Fair do’s rico…

    Here’s a footie related question:

Following Schteve McClarencsh cringe making ‘dutch accent interview’, who’s the most moronic, half witted just plain shite england manager ever – McClaren or Glen ‘all cripples are sinners’ Hoddle. Vote now and win a Ferrari kindly donated by rico01..ha ha

  78. raif

Pierre – i got some Manc Scum at my work aswell, and its hard having a footballing debate with them as they know fuck all about football let alone anything else.

and what makes it worse is it pisses me off more that we done have any Braging rights. what do we have, we play great football. all they have to say is. We did the double.

    end Row.

    its annoying

  79. Pierre

I’m off to play champ manager for a bit, I’m arsenal of course, you should see my foreward line, Henry, Messi, Huntlaar, with Richards, Alex and Clichey at the back in front of Casillas, now thats a team!

  80. raif

Pierre – im waiting for Football Manager 2009. its out 31st Oct.

me and my cousin also actully play it online. we create a Network game and play it that why.

and it makes more intesne when ur both after the same player lol

  81. Pierre

raif, i got the current version of FM but my current laptop is too crap to run it, and my old laptop got a busted screen so i have a flat screen which i attach which is loads of pissing about, i got football manager on that, but when i just want a quick game like tonight i cant be arsed to set it up so i play CM, since my last comment i JUST STUFFED wATFORD 9 -0, AND cESC GOT A HATTRICH, ALONG WITH A GUT CALLED mATA, (shit, hit caps lock then) Alex got 1 and Glen Johnson got 2, I subbed Richards at half time.

  82. Jules1

Raif – nothing worse than a manc in my view. Glory hunting cheque book cretins with no class – they bght the title last season only cos they’ve given money to fish face.. if these akbs on here could distinguish this instead of coming out with all this shit that Wenger can do it without spending money

  83. Pierre

Jules1, spot on, I also wrote how I hate the mancs with a passion, fukin vermin they are, fukin rats with red shirts on!
