Adebayor seems to think he’s worth as much money as Thierry Henry for some strange reason, he compares himself with Arsenal’s record goalscorer, the man who regularly netted 30 plus goal a season, the man who never missed a chance, the double footballer of the year, the man who will end up as Arsenal’s best ever player, and this delusional, greedy dimwiited twit from Togo thinks he’s on the same level - Jesuuuus!
Bit like someone who thinks he just won an election in Zimbabwe, mentally ill, delusional or a bit of both?
Arsene, you came out and said what you should have done, so well done for digging your heels in, but take the money or put the disrespectful, ungrateful nobody in the reserves for a season.
He will undermine team spirit, teach him a lesson and Bendtner will be twice the player next season, and on that note, he’s very quiet isn’t he? I bet he’s loving this!
Finally boss, you need to know we will never forgive him for this, never. He is finished with the fans.
Other news now as I really can’t stand talking about this ingrate anymore, Huntelaar has now told Ajax he won’t sign a contract and rumours abound, but I can’t see us going for him, I would prefer him to Santa Cruz but he’s not the big bugger he’d be replacing is he? Eto’o is a great goalscorer but the question is why are Barca letting him go and Gomez, who freely scores in Germany is being touted but hasn’t shone in the Euros, so I’m not so sure about him either, not a lot to get excited about then.
I read on the blog that the Ben Arfa deal hasn’t been done yet, anyone for him? It would explain why we haven’t signed Nasri yet, wouldn’t it?
Tonight is the last night of the Euros and a final chance to see the great Cesc Fabregas triump over the mechanical Germans, I hope he has a blinder because we need something to cheer about after listening to the ravings of a nutter all week, also this marks the start of real Arsenal business, or it should, if we don’t have our new signings in place by pre season I think we’ll be missing a trick or two.
It seems the money issues are coming home to roost with news that Liverpool and Madrid have to sell before they can buy, so maybe the Barry deal is not yet done? Man City though are doing a Chelsea, and Chelsea are about to do a Chelsea, so we need to have all of our squad in place soon.
Happy Domingo Grovers, tomorrow it begins in ernest.
June 29, 2008 at 8:49 am
Goooooooooooooooooooool!!!!!
June 29, 2008 at 8:52 am
I hope Spain win tonight, they’re the more “footballing” team, but as we know from our last FA cup final, sometimes that goes out of the window in a win at all costs game. C’mon Fabregas!
June 29, 2008 at 8:55 am
well adebayor is a complete dick, he now thinks he is the best player in the premiership. he has improved and scored goals last season, but one season only.
it could the press may mixed up his words, but he needs to come out on arsenal.com and tell us the truth
replacements if gone, i dont care wenger u have to buy david villa, sell togo shit to anyone for £30m and get david villa for £25m
June 29, 2008 at 8:56 am
4th
June 29, 2008 at 8:58 am
Villa, Huntelaar, Santa Cruz, they will all score lots of goals for us.
Adebayor says if the club does not meet his demands, that he will leave.
And we know the club won’t, he has already had a discussion with Wenger.
June 29, 2008 at 8:59 am
i would take huntelaar over cruz, only cause he’s in the nike ad!
June 29, 2008 at 8:59 am
this what i hate about the boss, he will make profit from the adebayor deal but then we made loads of money before
go out there and buy david villa, he is better the fernando torres and will score loads of goals with cesc fabregas behind him
we can play cesc further more forward and he will be the king of the premiership
June 29, 2008 at 9:00 am
I think Wenger will be back in the office on Tuesday, that’s when heads will be hunted….and start to roll.
June 29, 2008 at 9:02 am

June 29, 2008 at 9:04 am
what do u think guys of signing marco senna???
great signing, experienced and good european player.
gilberto and senna in midfield we have the experience to cope as well.
senna probarly cost around £5m, and having him around for 2-3 years we can win trophies we will make up that money easily
June 29, 2008 at 9:05 am
Well the Mrs was put onto the Air NZ plane at 3pm bound for Auckland for 4 days work, so 4 beers have been consumed so far and the steak and chips are just about to come out for dinner!
only 10 hours till the euro final kick off
June 29, 2008 at 9:05 am
Very good post Geoff.
June 29, 2008 at 9:09 am
Evo, don’t try & stay up all night like I used to during the F A Cup. I’d nod off when the goal was scored, then wake up 5 minutes later.
June 29, 2008 at 9:11 am
hahaha…exactly! ill probably nod off at midnight and get back up at 4am. ive moved the spare matress to the lounge room so all is in readyness!
so what happened to that Dimitriov signing, that went no where!
June 29, 2008 at 9:13 am
Thanks Gnarley, I liked the Charlie George clip!
June 29, 2008 at 9:19 am

June 29, 2008 at 9:26 am
I am a white guy from zimbabwe and I take offense at equating being from zimbabwe with being delusional.I think your political comparisons are unjustified and farfetched for a sports star trying to earn his worth. Leave politics out of sport and your blog will sound a lot more intelligent. As for the rest of your blog………absolutely great!!
June 29, 2008 at 9:28 am
So… who is defending Thierry Adebayor today?
He is a cunt isn’t he?
‘I am preparing for my retirement’… that is up there with, ‘I nearly swerved my Bentley off the road’.
What a silly boy…
I hope this ruins his game next year and he never gets a chance to play for a big club again.
Ring Thierry… ask him what he thinks…
June 29, 2008 at 9:33 am
Ade should be left in the reserves to Rot…….. Arsene should keep him on his current contract and let him rot so that delusional twit gets his priorities right….
June 29, 2008 at 9:34 am
The comparison was with Robert Mugabe, not with being white, black or green. In this country we get by on humour, Mugabe thinks he is the most popular politician in Zimbabwe, Adebayor thinks he is good as Thierry Henry, Mugabe just won the election and it’s news, I think you missed the point.
I have been to Zimbabwe twice and seen it’s decline so why you’re offended is beyond me, but I can’t please everyone.
Welcome on though.
June 29, 2008 at 9:37 am
well said everyone
June 29, 2008 at 9:39 am
i will defend Adebayo today.
so here goes.
………………. erm, ……………. well………….
you see………….. really………..
i give up.
A complete fool, he is
June 29, 2008 at 9:46 am
Ade is an absoloute tit. I hope he goes and Barca realize what a shit footballer he is.
120k per week? is he fucking goofed? Thats what Ronaldo earns at Man Utd!
I now prefer HLEB to Ade! and thats saying something.
Get rid of Ade and bring in David Villa. He would score 50 goals per season if he had the service Ade had in the previous season.
As you pointed out in the article, Bendtner would benefit immensly if he were to leave. He would flourish. IMO he is a better footballer than Ade but is just lacking the goals and keep in mind that was his 1st season in the EPL.
June 29, 2008 at 9:47 am
ADEBAYOR = TWAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROLL ON TUESDAY ,COME ON BOSS LETS HAVE THE FIRST ONE IN ,SIGNING ,THEN THAT WILL START TO CHEER US UP……………………..
June 29, 2008 at 9:48 am
Can anyone really say they’re surprised? Even before he turned up at Arsenal this ungrateful sod had pay disputes with both Monaco and his national team, refusing to play for both until his pay was sorted. He will attempt to do the same to Arsenal, luckily we have a few weeks to sell him before the team gets backs together for pre-season.
Where I sit at the stadium, there’s a hard-core of fans that have been season ticket holders for years and for most of last season, even when he was scoring, no one was singing his praises. When the song about “Give him the ball and he will score” would go up, some would look round and shake their heads.
He is nowhere near the quality of Henry, Wright, or even Anelka for that matter. He is just a mercenary, just in for the money. To be fair if someone said to me a couple months back there’s an offer for £16mil for him, I would have thought take it, At £30 mil I’d snatch it and chuck in Eboue.
June 29, 2008 at 9:55 am
Pablo… as I’ve said before, people don’t like Ade because of his arrogance combined with his lack of ability… I sit next to people who think he is shite… he scored 30 goals, but everyone I sit with thinks that figure was a one off…
Don’t sell him Arsene… keep him another year, and watch his value fall… Who cares if we lose out on a bit of cash… we’re the most profitable club in the world.
He is being badly advised and like Wrighty said on his post… he needs to watch he doesn’t take the Anelka route…
June 29, 2008 at 9:57 am
Perfect time to sell him - when the ego/talent ratio is at its peak - and other clubs havent yet seen through the bullshit.
French friends tell me Ben Arfa is not a team player - and Marseilles supporters would far rather have Nasri
June 29, 2008 at 9:59 am
Fuck Ade. He can go to hell and back for all I care.
I would like to see us try to sign Senna, the Spanish holding midfielder.
I think hes brills.
June 29, 2008 at 9:59 am
Good post Geoff but don’t agree with it all!
I entirely agree that TH14 was a class apart but I think the rose tinted spectacles crept in a bit: he missed loads of chances as well, he was rarely at his best against the top teams, he tailed off badly in the last period of his time with us BUT he was a great and at times untouchable! Ade…………..well he’s relatively ordinary at the moment and Crouch could probably replace him fairly seemlessly and do as well.
Having said that I think, for us, Santa Cruz might be the better option over Huntelaar. Not having seen too much of either I think that SC would be much cheaper, has had an EPL season under his belt already so no great change for him apart from playing with better players so would settle in quicker than anybody else to get us off to a good start next season.
We could spend our savings on our real needs CB, DMF, and perhaps a GK!
June 29, 2008 at 10:00 am
Sell him and do it quick, when that stupid song “give the ball and he will score” started it made me sick to think that so many Arsenal fans and supporters were blind to this tit from Togo.
Suggestions for a replacement, there is realy only two to think about, either Huntelarr or Villa, no one else comes close to what we need.
June 29, 2008 at 10:00 am
I think Wenger will now pull a master stroke he will sell Ade for 23 mil. Then play Eboue as our lone striker because of his natural eye for goal and make him captain as well??????
June 29, 2008 at 10:02 am
its good that there are so many opinions…keep em coming!
definitely not senna for me, he was good, but hes pushing 32
June 29, 2008 at 10:02 am
Ade who?
At least Nikki B is comitted. The first mention of a rumour he stated his future is at Arsenal.
He of all people knows what kind of person the Togo Stick is. “I’m only on because you’re shit!” Nice work Ade. Good work with the youngsters.
How thick can this man be if he thinks he’ll improve more somwhere else than under Wenger.
REMEMBER -its was Ade that failed to square it to Nikki B against Birmingham at 2-1 up. That would have been game won and a pretty fucking solid shot at the title.
Do one, Nikki B will shine.
We should sign Cruz/Villa have a striker who doesn’t need a 5-a-side pitch to himslef to control the ball.
June 29, 2008 at 10:08 am
Dolphin-head: I live in France and my masseur is the Chateauroux FC club masseur (where Sunu came from). He says that the French don’t like Ben Arfa as he’s too selfish which would fit in with your comment. Nasri is the better buy on that score but Ben Arfa did look like he was more two-footed and had a more powerful shot. Having said that he is shorter and nearly 10Kg lighter which might not do so well in the EPL maybe why AW went for Nasri?
June 29, 2008 at 10:09 am
No I think we have to sell him now, I would love him in the reserves for the year, I just think we will need to replace him as well so need that money to do so.
I actually think that as far as I can remember, this is the worst respect shown to the clubs and fans by a player, and I include Anelka in that. At least they were upfront and honest, instead of using Arsenal.com to try and keep the fans onside whilst creating an escape plan in the back ground.
No keep up the words Arsene but MAKE SURE YOU SELL HIM. maximise the transfer fee, maybe with Etoo and cash for Ade and lets watch the Barca faithful boo him off the park by the end of the year.
Considered as a replacement for Henry……Is this guy serious, even us previously-pro Ade Gooners realised he would never be that.
Liked the throw in Eboue for free comment though (I guess with shitness comes loyalty in his case)
June 29, 2008 at 10:12 am
Did I just read that Geoff has rose tinted specs on because Thierry missed loads of chances?
I did!
Please… I know this is the place to have an opinion, but saying Thierry wasn’t a big game player is verging on the ridiculous! It is a weak statement… he was the greatest Arsenal player ever… he never missed a header from a yard, he never demanded a move after one good season, he was Mr Arsenal!
I agree with you on Santa Cruz though… he is a good striker.
Senna is 31… he’ll never move, no matter how good he is.
Paul… I like your thinking!
Maqitlarge… I love Nikki… but we’ll have the same problems with him. He wants to play for Madrid, and he’ll act just like Ade.
Give him a go though… he could easily replace Ade.
June 29, 2008 at 10:14 am
great info patrick
June 29, 2008 at 10:16 am
I was looking at the relative sizes of the yachts owned by the worlds richest gangsters like Abramovich, Briatore and Maktoum and wondered how these people feel when they see the poverty and suffering in Africa with millions of kids dying so young through disease and starvation. And the I realised that Adebayor must be more aware of the plight of African’s than most. Then I began to consider his egotistical nature and his insane wage demands and I realised that he really must go, And soon. The man is truly sickening.
June 29, 2008 at 10:17 am
guys .. for all its worth .. Wenger does character studies on the players that he buys
so Arsene cant say I didnt know that Ade behaved like a greedy bastard for Togo/Metz and that his behaviour at Monaco was so poor that in fact nobody understood why he bought him first place
he is just exhibiting his true self .. and he is clearly money orientated .. so what??
lets get over it .. Wenger will most likely pull the trigger .and sell him . but you tell me whether Torres would be happy with 60K a week .. and dont say that Torres is in a different league ..
the players are running the show
June 29, 2008 at 10:18 am
Adebayor in his capacity as captain of Togo led an attempted boycott of matches at the last World Cup in a row over money. Wenger should sell Ade as he would just be a negative divisive figure in the Arsenal camp, Wenger should go for Huntelaar who also has some physical presence and good goalscoring instincts.
June 29, 2008 at 10:20 am
i think wenger looks at the possibility of certain players becoming more mature and leaving some of their dodgey pasts behind them, hence taking them on!
June 29, 2008 at 10:21 am
Wow, what a cunt!!! I’ve just read the Adebeyor comment. I’ve supported Arsenal all my life and I love the club and I used to really love football but these money grabbing cunts who don’t give a fuck about our club are ruining the game. It’s an absolute fucking disgrace and if Wenger doesn’t put the foot down and restore a bit of respect for the club he will go down in my estmiations. It pains me to say it but beetroot face in Manchester wouldn’t tolerate this sort of shite. Anyone who wants to earn more money elsewhere……FUCK OFF!!! Get the fuck out of my club, you’re an embarrassment to yourself and your proffession. I’m not sure if I’m conveying just how sick I am of all this shit but all this talk of money and worth from players who are not remotely world-class is just sickening. Did you ever hear Bergkamp or Zidane ever complain about money….NO! Because they loved the game and played it with passion. Simple as. And they were world-class. Adebeyor, Hleb, whoever…….if you don’t want to play for Arsenal, FUCK OFF AND DROP DEAD YOU OVERRATED SHOWER OF CUNTS!!!
June 29, 2008 at 10:23 am
How do you do a character study?
I would say that is almost impossible…? Even more so when you consider some of the trouble makers he has signed.
Torres was on £40k a week… and he got a pay rise this summer. I don’t think anyone can deny that Torres is a superior player…?
Chris… Ade doesn’t give a fuck. All this touring is for his Ego…
June 29, 2008 at 10:24 am
torres is far superior, thats why we need villa, podolski, huntelaar or whoever!
June 29, 2008 at 10:24 am
Pedro:
“Maqitlarge… I love Nikki… but we’ll have the same problems with him. He wants to play for Madrid, and he’ll act just like Ade.”
I’m guilty of typos, so I won’t jump on anyones back if they make them but “He wants to play for Madrid”. At present? At some point in the future? Has he mentioned Real Madrid
in the context of possibly playing there?
June 29, 2008 at 10:28 am
Yes Finestcuts… he mentioned it in an FHM (Danish) interview a couple of years ago.
The one where he said his favourite things are birds and booze.
June 29, 2008 at 10:30 am
Guys there is a great comparrison picture between Togotwat and Henry here
http://blogs.notw.co.uk/sport/2008/06/andy-dunn-col-2.html
June 29, 2008 at 10:30 am
Chris, the answer to that is it’s not their problem. The criminal mind will justify it’s actions to itself, look at paedophiles, murderers, torturers, they all have their reasons, and therefore feel vindicated if they truly believe them. Some lack conscience as well, like an animal killing another animal, it does not feel remorse or sympathy.
June 29, 2008 at 10:35 am
Finest… you sound like Lobaczewski.
June 29, 2008 at 10:36 am
Pedro: Thierry was probably our best player ever but and I don’t remember him missing sitters like Ade but he did have off games and misses but we had the class of Pires, Bergcamp etc to support him at those times hence the invincibles but in the very big matches in my experience it was often them that did the goalscoring rather than him. This takes nothing away from the sight of his elegance and grace at full flow slotting the ball into the net something that Ade will never be capable of!
Agree with you about Senna; funnily enough I was thinking he might be the ideal replacement for Flamini and then yesterday I saw he was 31………………………….
June 29, 2008 at 10:41 am
I don’t see the problem here. There are probably 3 different camps for this one:
1. Ade haters - They get to see the back of a player they never really liked, for 30 mil, no less.
2. Objective Ade believers - They believe he can be as good as Henry, but not yet. If someone’s dumb enough to offer him Henry’s wages right now then more fool them. Move on, take the 30 mil.
3. Ade Lovers - Ade’s within his rights to ask for a high wage now he’s shouldering the goal scoring these days. No problem there either.
Why all the ire? We all know that with our strict wage structure, he won’t be paid what he wants. So we’ll probably get a load of money for him. It seems to me that the ones who are coming out and slating him are the people who never liked him in the first place. Why? From your angle, what do Arsenal stand to lose?
At the same time you only have to look at his background to see that accumulation of wealth might matter a little more to him than to someone from Europe.
That’s not a racist comment - if I were in his shoes, I’d say “thank you very much” to Arsenal before taking the money and doing all I can to make a bit more money to make my and my family’s life even more comfortable. Football is a career, and he’s not an Arsenal fan.
June 29, 2008 at 10:52 am
Good arguments Gunnar! I’d like to hang on to Ade myself for continuity and I’m sure AW would also. He is big and awkward and his talents have yet to be fine tuned but if he continues to cause upset with his demands and aggression to other team members and someone is prepared to pay silly amounts for him I’m sure AW will take the money and buy an even better prospect or a cheaper alternative and use the money elsewhere…………………………Yes, we mustn’t forget Ade’s ’survival’ drives!!!!
June 29, 2008 at 10:54 am
Trust Me Gunnar
Look through the archives, I have probably fell in your last category, although I would agree with a raise it would not be to anywhere near 80 or 120k, maybe more towards 50.
However I am sorry I never want to see him at Arsenal or in an Arsenal shirt again, he is a disgrace to himself, Arsenal and Togo,
Henry Replacement……Never……he does not have the skill, goals or class to even lace up Thierry’s boots
Adebayor you mean nothing to us now.
And again I think you miss the point, it is not the moving on for more money that has annoyed us, it is the disrespectful way he has used Arsenal.com as a pro Ade PR wagon whilst secretly plotting an exit which ended in his Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde performance at the press conference on Friday.
June 29, 2008 at 10:57 am
Gunnar… I don’t know anyone who thinks Ade could be as good as Thierry… It’s like a liverpool fan saying Crouch could be as good as Fowler…
The ire is due to the lack of respect he is showing the club.
His greed isn’t down to his background… it’s down to his make up.
If you’ve never had anything, you’d probably respect what you have a little more…
You don’t hear Kolo making wild demands, and he was part of the invincibles… he was so grateful for his opp that he used to shake the hands of the kitchen staff after every meal…
I could probably support a family in Togo on my salary… I wish people would stop making out he is doing all this for his family… Ade could give them 2 weeks wages and they’d be fine for 10 years…
June 29, 2008 at 10:59 am
Steady with the “drives” there Patrick. But I agree with the rest!
Pat - Good, I find it all pretty ugly as an Arsenal fan as well- so we get to see the back of him. He could have been an Arsenal legend, but it hasn’t worked out that way - “C’est la guerre” as they say.
June 29, 2008 at 11:01 am
Geoff - Got the Germany win OK: just; although with Arshavin not turning up the Ruskies went down a match before I thought. With Spain having played so well for how many games now, do you think they can overcome the Germans as well?
Personally, I think if they can continue their form with Cesc on fire they’ll cut the Germans to pieces but if Ballack does play and they return to form their height and strength will tell. I’ll stick with the Germans but hope for Cesc and style!!
June 29, 2008 at 11:12 am
THIS GUY IS SHOCKING AND PROVES WHY EVEN WITH HIM NETTING 30+ GOALS THERE WERE MANY GOONERS WHO DIDNT LIKE HIM (THEY WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG AND NOT THE ONES SINGING HIS NAME EVERY 5 MINS)
HES PAST THE LINE OF NO RETURN AND HAS GOT TO GO, AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE
HE NOW WILL BE REMEMBERED WITH TRHE LIKES OF FLAMINI , A.COLE
HOW DARE HE COMPARE HIMSELF TO TH14 AND SAY HE DESERVES TO BE PAID THE SAME
IN ARSENE WE TRUST
June 29, 2008 at 11:12 am
JUST Get Rid of the twat…end off…
lets see how other fans react when he misses sitters.. when he hits his own teammates… when he doesn’t celebrate any one else’s goals!!!!!
cunt.. 120k a week?
must be some togo weed he’s on….
June 29, 2008 at 11:15 am
Morning all..
Get rid of ade .. Ade has won.
June 29, 2008 at 11:17 am
Pedro - He’s probably being offered money that he’d never have even dared to dream of 10 years ago. I said comfort, but really it’s more than that; It’s astronomical wealth - and this kind of money is on the table at Barca or Milan. Quite why, I don’t know!
Unfortunately, I think his background is a factor in his perceived greed. At the same time, someone’s also had a word in his ear. There are other people out there giving him advice who are set to make a lot of money off him.
We don’t need people like that at the club, so Adebayor will go - at an outrageous profit for us and the club. Fine. So far, so Anelka I think. We can all see what Ade has to say about his decision 10 years down the line…
Meanwhile, we keep the level headed guys like Kolo, who have a genuine love for the club.
I just want to offer an alternative to the hatred posted on this and other boards today.
June 29, 2008 at 11:19 am
What ever happened to Fabregas’ samba celebration that he did before? that should be his regular goal celebration.
June 29, 2008 at 11:20 am
Just read the Ade article and have come to the conclusion that he is a king size cock, with an ego bigger than Ronaldinhos teeth. On a par with Henry my arse. Henry is an Arsenal legend, who scored 30+ every season, not just once. Shame Nick didnt give him a proper dig when they had their litte spat, mind you difficult to give someone a proper dig when his head is that far up his own arse!
June 29, 2008 at 11:26 am
If the cunt does stay I hope Bendtner nuts the greedy, ungrateful peasant.
June 29, 2008 at 11:28 am
greetings! one the subject of Adebayor, I still say we’re a better team with him than without and if he stays he will get another 30 goals. We don’t know for sure that any of these quotes are genuine do we? Or maybe someone does, but all I’ve seen are newspaper quotes and you just can’t put any faith in them any more. Did anyone actually see/hear Ade making these comments on TV?
June 29, 2008 at 11:29 am
I’m very impressed by your knowledge of Łobaczewski, I must admit you’re the first person to bring him to my attention, he’s really delved deep into the topic of human consciousness and it’s difficult to stomach reading about the atrocities of human nature
and trying to understand them better, although I will look further into the subject since I believe it is also important to understand the unpleasant side of human nature, how to recognise it, how to respond to it and how to make sure we don’t adopt similar traits without realising or questioning them. It all begins from ourselves.
Back to football and the situation we have on our hands regarding Adebayor.
He has upset many Arsenal fans, so a bit of rage can surely be understood. It will die down when we’ve come to terms with his decision and treatment of the fans and Arsenal football club.
Ade, you’re not Henry, you’ll never be as good, your demands are unreasonable
therefore they won’t be met. You do not deserve to wear our shirt anymore, neither can you call yourself a fan of the club once you leave. It’s not about your skill as a footballer, it’s also about the way you conduct yourself, something which to us, Arsenal fans, is important and clearly irrelevant to you.
When you were charged for attacking your partner, the club stood by you, but now I suspect there was more than met the eye at the time.
When you got into a dispute at Monaco, Wenger saw your potential and wanted to help you become the best, despite your problems. no other top manager would have taken such a high risk player at the stage of development you were at, you could have ended up with a mediocre coach at a mediocre club.
You attacked your team mate Bendtner, and still the majority were prepared to give you the benefit of the doubt. I’m sorry, but you’ve worn all your chances out.
Please leave.
June 29, 2008 at 11:30 am
Seriously, we spent the season debating whether the big lump was good enough for an Arsenal shirt, now he demands a huge pay hike? Easy answer, like most people here, take the money and run. No doubt the Arsenal curse will strike once more and ten years down the line, like Nico, he’ll be snivelling at some Press Conference about how he should never have left us.
The only cause for alarm is how it leaves the squad. Flamini is gone. I feel almost grateful to him because at least he has fucked off early doors so there is no more debate (cheerfully forgetting the hours of it throuhout the season). Hleb….fucks knows really, because the stories have gone cold. Inter don’t want him, and I hear Italian ice cream is the best. He’s gonna miss it. Barca? If there in for Arshavin why would they want Hleb? Plus they have to sell and rebuild, and I think there are bigger shipd on the horizon for them. Wolfsburg………..hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
The transfer market sems like a big game of musical chairs to me, with all the top clubs swapping players, sort of like trading cards
So Ade wants out, and Milan seem desperate to sign him. Arsenal don’t want to do business with them, prefering Barca, if reports are to be believed. Surely that has to do with what Barca can offer in exchange, althouh the trio they are offering are players you would have bitten your leg off to sign two seasons ago, while know they seem a little…..broken, or shop soiled. City are welcome to Ronaldhinho, but Eto’o still retains a flicker or interest.
For some reason I have faith in the Villa story. There’s something about it that holds some hidden truth. Even with Ade gone there seems to be an abundance of riches in the strikeforceand attacking midfield, but once again there remains this Wenger-esque inbalance with the defence. Micah Richards please, for fucks sake
June 29, 2008 at 11:32 am
Proof that wearing an arsenal shirt affects the brain..
http://www.sundaymirror.co.uk/news/sunday/2008/06/29/ex-arsenal-star-is-arrested-for-giving-police-a-false-name-of-wanted-burglar-98487-20624552/

I have previously defended Adebayor to the hilt, never believing him to be anywhere near Henry’s level - but always understanding his value to the team.
I now say sell. Sell ASAP.
I also say…don’t buy, give Bendtner and Walcott the chance to do the job up top. Use the money saved to buy another midfield player to take Walcott’s role and cover Tiny Tom Rosicky on the left. We could come out of this situation better balanced if Arsene plays the right cards.
June 29, 2008 at 11:39 am
If those quotes are true, then I think its pretty obvious innit?
Make sure we get the absolute maximum fee for the big fella. There are quality strikers available. I really aint too sure about Santa Cruz. He was never prolific in Germany and could just of had a freakish one off season (like Ade???) Eto’o IS top quality, Barca want rid coz him and Ronnydino just dont wanna play for em anymore. He would be an amazing signing for us, as would Huntelaar (although he aint the quickest.
£30 mill and then it’ll be Ade=byebye! Thanks for the mem…..hold on, what memories???
June 29, 2008 at 11:42 am
so kani sr is looking for more money and longer contract
kanu jr is looking for more money
do u see a patern
i pity any gooner that has bought a new shirt with this guys name on it, id rather have a cole on it right now compared to this plonker
June 29, 2008 at 11:46 am
Morning Geoff/Pedro Le Grovers,
As I said yesterday I’m gutted by Ade talking so much shit, I truely felt he could become a great player at Arsenal.
But if this is how is he then we are better off without him. He has clearly gotten to big for his boots and to demand such a huge contract after one good season is pathetic.
Where is his loyalty to us? The Gooners were always split towards him but it was very rare to see us get on his back.
Will the Milan and Barca faithful support him when he misses a vital header from two yards? No.
I can see the white hankys doing the rounds already!
Where is his loyalty to Wenger? The man who trusted in him and gave him the number one striking role?
He has listened to those around him who are only interested in lining their own pockets and he himself has become greedy.
I only hope that we get top top top top top money for him and then Le Boss uses it to sign someone who doesn’t take five shots to score.
Ade, you will regret this mate. In five years time when you are plying your trade with Atalanta in Italy fighting relegation, you will look back at your time with Arsenal and think………Why?
Why did I leave.?
It’s because your a greedy bastard!!!!
June 29, 2008 at 11:49 am
Ade’s background worth a read!!http://aderinola.wordpress.com/2008/06/24/emmanuel-adebayor-from-rags-to-riches-and-fame/
June 29, 2008 at 11:55 am
David the link didn’t work
June 29, 2008 at 12:00 pm
Pedro - i think Adebayor can be as good as Henry! If he stays at Arsenal. He is not the same type of player, so Henry will always be regarded as the king of pace and style but Ade has qualities that Henry lacked. The stats show that the two players’ results are comparable (- and Ade does not have Bergkamp beside him.)
Henry joined Arsenal aged 22, seasons 1,2 and 3 yielded 26 goals from 48 games, 22 from 53 and 32 from 49. total 80 goals from 150 average 1 in 1.9
Adebayor joined at the age of 21, seasons 1,2, and 3 yielded 4 goals from 13, 12 from 44 and 32 from 48. total 48 goals from 105 average 1 in 2.2
June 29, 2008 at 12:04 pm
I read that story a few days ago, and it tells us a bit about his background, but there are also other people who grew up in difficult circumstances and achieved success and haven’t stooped to Adebayor’s level.
For example, kids that grow up in urban areas of rich cities and who come from difficult economic and family backgrounds have to contend with different and also very difficult problems, often at an age when they’re unable to cope with or understand them, the problems they have also affect those around them hence no social support and not only that, they’re unloved and uncared for. Adebayor clearly states his family loved him, and so did the people around him, at least he had spiritual guidance which many kids surrounded by concrete and flash cars don’t.

Great, we are getting Amaury Bischoff, unheard of 21 year old. Did not play at all last season for Werder Bremen and is squad no. 38. Just what Arsenal needs to replace Flamini. He also says that he needs a few weeks in the reserves to get back to fitness. MAY be a good prospect, but not the replacement that can make an immediate impact.
Your views?
June 29, 2008 at 12:17 pm
andy4 all clubs buy fringe players as well the big signings. it’s just that that’s all we’ve done so far!
June 29, 2008 at 12:18 pm
Sorry Geoff I popped out to my workshop.
If this dosn’t work tap (wordpress bbc adebayor) in your search engine..

Listen people from Africa haven’t got the market in growing up poor.
I came from a house in Bethnal Green that had an outside toilet, we had no money, I remember always being cold and eating what ever was put on my plate, and quickly. I left school at 14, I didn’t eat my first steak until I was 18 and I would have killed if someone had offered me guaranteed money for 4 years.
I’d kill now if a client offered me a four year contract, unfortunately in the real world no one does.
So what, if you want to work hard, you’ll make money, but it’s not done overnight, that greedy cunt hasn’t had to work at anything and he has everything.
June 29, 2008 at 12:21 pm
Do not even compare Kanu to Ade.
Kanu just wants to have a longer deal; just like effin Pires.
Sheeeeeeeeeesh!
Maybe Im being a tad sensitive, but is that a racist comment?
June 29, 2008 at 12:24 pm
No you’re right Angry!
Thanks David, so he met the king eh, he’s lucky then, I’ve only ever met prince Andrew when we were both members of the same golf club, I was pissed as a fart at Annabels in Berekely Square.
No fucker will write about that though will they, and it’s a better story!
June 29, 2008 at 12:24 pm
Good Find Andy4
Not quite the re-assuring signing I was hoping for though, but maybe this is his unknown gem…..Squad Player I guess
June 29, 2008 at 12:29 pm
In the first half of the season we were all calling for Ade to be dropped, he wasnt scoring and was insanley shite! Hes so inconsistent! We need someone whos consistent, RvP is but hes always injured. So if we put the goals to the back of our minds we will all realise what a shit footballer he is. He can’t even control a fucking ball properly, 6 year olds can… HE IS A SHITE FOOTBALLER. There are plenty of other fish in the sea who can score 30 goals with the same service Ade had this year.
We should take the money and run, sell him and buy someone else. ANYONE ELSE BUT HIM!
In line with what Chris said earlier: There are millions starving in Togo. He said himself that he would have been a gangster had he not got into football. He’s an ungreatful bastartd. And now after 1 good season he thinks he has the rite to say “theres a good offer from Barca”. Who the fuck does he think he is? If it wasnt for Wenger he would be sitting on Monoco’s bench earning 10k a week if he was lucky enough not to be sold to some ligue 2 side. Stupid fucker, sort yourself out.
And we thought Hleb and Flamini were ungreatful.
Roll on next season, and please let it be without the Togan cunt.
June 29, 2008 at 12:31 pm
Beacause he went to toga as the messiah maybe he believes all that now
June 29, 2008 at 12:34 pm
SO whats going on with the Ben Arfa deal then? has that fallen though?
June 29, 2008 at 12:37 pm
who reckons cesc will start tonight?
June 29, 2008 at 12:38 pm
Evo - i do. he must start. he has changed the game every time he comes on.
June 29, 2008 at 12:42 pm
Even before this current nonsense ,it was interesting that the fans were well and truly split about him which says so much considering he somehow scored 30 goals last season.
I say definitely take the money on offer because its too good to refuse for an average player who is totally disrespectful to the club.Should he not go and happens to do well again next season then its guaranteed that the same circus will happen again next Summer. We have had it endlessly with Viera,Henry,Fabregas etc and it just mucks up the real Summer excitement which should be all about incoming tranfers.
June 29, 2008 at 12:43 pm
This is what we need….
The Holland striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar has failed to agree a new contract with Ajax and the club are willing to accept bids for the striker.
Real Madrid and Man Utd have both been linked with the talented international, but Arsene Wenger could persuade him to form a partnership with his countryman Robin Van Persie next season if the Adebayor contract talks break down this week
June 29, 2008 at 12:46 pm
How much is the LOWEST we should accept for the lumpanator then?
£20mill?
Thing is, now I’ve seen all the figures bandied about, I’d be pretty pissed off if we didn’t get £28 mill for him, even tho thats an absolutely bonkers amount for him!
That Huntelaar fella is class, but he aint the quickest is he?
June 29, 2008 at 12:47 pm
I agree, Huntelaar has been given permission to speak to other clubs.
June 29, 2008 at 12:48 pm
Matt that sounds really funny. I think I’d probably sit on anyones bench for 10k a week
June 29, 2008 at 12:53 pm
Im going to be humble in victory again!
i just keep thinking about all the ade lovers ive seen in the last 10 months and how they must be feeling now ! HAHAHAHA
ok thats not humble .
FUCK EM
im just waiting for wenger to import a good striker and ill restore my faith in the man !
Ade has always been a cunt ! head butting bendtner , bullshit outrageous and embarrassing celebrations !lifting his head to the skys when being substituded !
That alone is enough to hate the cunt right there !
All would probably forgiven however if the lad had some skill !
Which i can tell you now he does not possess ! nor ever will !
and if our strikers stayed fit this season he would not get a look in anyhow !
i know wenger and he would not stop a fit RVP - or a dudu showing world class form
on the bench for ade ! add to the mix vela needing 20-30 minutes here and there as does bendtner , and ades time would be far worse this season !!!
Smart move for us is to sell him get in 2 players !!!
GAME OVER !!!
We all know the cunt took a opportunity to get amongst the goals whilst people were injured , and in all probability it couldn’t happen a 3rd year in a row !
120 k a week ! he’s fucking joking .. surely ? he’s a delusional fool !
i hope he does get some more money so he can afford the shrink he so desperately requires !
i just hope the Barcelona head honchos cant read English
June 29, 2008 at 12:56 pm
the reason i love this blog is that there is always an ethan rant around the corner, you never know when it will pop up, but you know its coming!
good on ya mate!
June 29, 2008 at 12:58 pm
I don’t think we should be talking about replacements… Ade is staying regardless I think.
He is a bit mental though… and we thought Bendtner was arrogant! Me and Geoff were just talking… it’s like Ade’s favourite pass time is talking about how much everyone loves him!
He also refers to himself in the 3rd person…
Lets just look forward to Robin putting him back in his place… or Theo stepping up!
Angry… maybe Huntelaar is like the Cesc of strikers… no pace, but amazing technique? That goal he scored the other day when it was fizzed across the box was superb I thought.
June 29, 2008 at 1:01 pm
I think Barca’s scouting network works like this…
Buy a program… throw a dart at the squad list… and pursue whoever you hit.
Why does it never hit Eboue?
June 29, 2008 at 1:02 pm
oh i do think bert will leave this season also !
mark my words !
before people like pat say i didnt say that either !
June 29, 2008 at 1:02 pm
There is GOD after all.
its good to see him walking Again

June 29, 2008 at 1:03 pm
oh god here goes wenger !!
obviously he didnt read this mornings papers !!!
http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/42378/Wenger-Aces-going-nowhere/
wenger cough up 120 k per week !!! then
June 29, 2008 at 1:05 pm
also just a thought. With Helb possibly going to Barcelona.
didnt Helb feel abit under thierry henry’s shadow at arsenal? so how is he going to feel at barcelona then with the likes of Eto and Messi and TH14 all there burning a hole in his head if he dosent pass to them
June 29, 2008 at 1:06 pm
what has become of contracts these days?
ade should be grateful that he is playing for the club the greatest club on earth.
stick him to the reserves that should teach him or anybody who is greedy a lesson.
this club is an institution, how the hell is arsene gonna build a winning team if the player turnover is high?
i guess some people are just not cut out for the cause, it’s a shame really.
where are the Bergkamps of the world?
June 29, 2008 at 1:06 pm
Wenger on ronaldo… Once you say he stays, he stays - if not, you look weak..
Wenger on Ade??
June 29, 2008 at 1:07 pm
I personally think the same as you pedro
theo to step up and be a striker !
but surely after talking like that against the club wenger will have to sell him !
i can imagine red nose doing it and getting away with it but arsene has always been a bit of a pussy like that ! he doesnt want someone like ade affecting others !
and he will ! ….
he’s gone … hes just signed his death warrant …
June 29, 2008 at 1:08 pm
yes thanks evo !
i will try and make the rants more alcohol orientated next time
it might hold your interest more mate
June 29, 2008 at 1:10 pm
I fear Barca are about to sign another duffer then… more fool them.
I thought the announcing of the squad numbers… then the promotion of Theo 4 days later was interesting. Did we do that because we knew we might lose Ade?
Wenger always says players are staying… then they go… what a hypocrite.
June 29, 2008 at 1:14 pm
well the reason why Wenger says there staying is to make sure it dont look like we want to sell them.
in doing so maximize the value of the player.
so soon as u admit ur looking to sell then thats it. every club will be looking to get him on the Cheap.
June 29, 2008 at 1:29 pm
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/jun/29/arsenal
This is an eye-opening piece. Perhaps this is some of the reason Wenger sticks with young players. Either way, we can all agree that football is changing and power is continually shifting towards the players.
Wenger says:
‘Contract-wise, the club is always in a weaker position,’ said Wenger of the Ronaldo situation at a Castrol-backed Euro 2008 event. ‘Why? Because clubs only have the security of a player now for three years. And that’s why, when a player is in his second year, it’s difficult. You are in a weak situation as a club.
‘OK, you can think, “I can leave this guy here if he sulks and play him in the reserves.” But it doesn’t work. It’s a good solution in theory, but on a daily basis it’s impossible. That’s why, in the end, I said I will only sell Anelka if he says to me, “I want to leave”. What can you do with a player who doesn’t want to stay?’
he also goes onto say:
‘After two years you have to renegotiate your contract because after three years the player can move out,’ Wenger says. ‘You give longer contracts because it offers a little bit of protection for the player to have to pay compensation if he moves after three years - if you give a player a five-year contract and he moves after three, he has to pay two years’ [wages].
‘But, after two years, you have to re-negotiate with the player because he can move the next season; you have no choice. For me, this measure is inflationary. Why? Because after two years you have to sit down with the player, whether he has played well or not, or you will lose him. You can never get him to sign an extension to his contract for less - that means you will always have to increase his salary. They have created a situation where inflation goes through the roof.’

‘In the past, you signed and you were there for life,’ he says. ‘Then you have seen Bosman coming in, then Webster. It looks like the balance goes always towards the player. And if you go to appeal, there is no protection any more. At the moment, after 28 you need only two years. I see the next thing coming is people saying, “Why is it 28 and not 27? That’s age discrimination. Why do we have to wait two years after 28 and three years before?”
‘If it goes down to two as well, you go from one extreme to the other. It could mean the disappearance of transfer fees.’
June 29, 2008 at 1:33 pm
so basically, its all fucked
June 29, 2008 at 1:43 pm
Ade carried the team at times last season.
So lets try and not act like tabloid hacks about tings?
Sure he aint evryon’e cup of char, football-wise, shite thats plain to see.
But the way some go on, you’d think he was a pub player.
Saying that though;
I think, in the long run, selling him will mean we are actually stronger next season and we won’t have to witness Bendtner being blanked when he’s got an open goal tap in.
June 29, 2008 at 1:43 pm
These greedy fucks are disrespecting all us arseholes who support & pay their wages be it going to games or as a subscriber to TV.
Adebayor is a thick ungrateful fuck…Out him now & make sure Hlebs is his hand luggage.
June 29, 2008 at 1:58 pm
If we stick with the view that all footballers are a bunch of selfish, greedy, arrogant, amoral cunts then we will only be proved correct or happily surprised when one of em does something resembling decency.
June 29, 2008 at 2:15 pm
he went 8 games without scoring… where the fuck was he when we need them goals?!?!
scoring 6 goals against derby…. wants 120k a week.. tell him to go fuck himself!!!
the cnut
June 29, 2008 at 2:27 pm
Ethan
we disagree about most things but I too think Gilberto might take a pay day elsewhere.
And I would not begrudge him that either. He for one has been a loyal servant and sadly is now past his best. My worry if he stays is that he becomes Cesc’s midfield partner again and I honestly think we need someone better than Gilberto on current level.
I just hope that this Bishoff lad is not our answer. We need a ready made replacement for Flamini not someone for the future. I guess I should just be reassured that we are finally active in the transfer market.
June 29, 2008 at 2:40 pm
Blah blah blah…. he went 8 games without scoring …blah blah …. 6 against Derby … yadda yadda ….
Jesus, where was RvP and Rosicky???
In the fucking treatment room coz they can’t stay effin fit.
If they were then that big selfish cunt wouldnt be trying to lord it over the club right now, coz he was the ONLY goal threat we had thru most of last season.
BUT, I don’t see the point of bringing up old shite about a soon to be ex-player!
June 29, 2008 at 2:42 pm
Oh and Ethan, I feel your correct amazing vision in recent months is maybe causing your ego to grow to Adebayoresque proportions.
Geoff/Pedro Beware, Ethan may well soon demand freebies to stay at this blog, otherwise he is off.
Ethan check out ACLF today, I think you may enjoy some of the comments.
June 29, 2008 at 2:43 pm
i hope titi or someone who trained with him comes out with a book revealing how hard henry practiced to get the first chance into the net.
get that book to ade and make him realise that making 90k per week don’t come overnight… if that prick can read all!
June 29, 2008 at 2:44 pm
Angry, RVP and Rosicky aren’t telling the world’s press he’ll decide what he wants to do and pay me like Henry and I’ll play like Henry, he’s a delusional cunt that’s taking the piss out of us, the fans.
And he’s not fit to lace Thierry’s boots, let alone earn the same money.
June 29, 2008 at 2:54 pm
OK, I am not going to post about Adebayor or Hleb, i’m going to let it pass, I’ve vented
my thoughts for the world to see, and I apologise if any of my posts made for unpleasant reading. Lets talk about football, matches, suggestions etc. this is completely ruining the whole gooner atmosphere, we must move on and quickly.
Euro final tonight….ESPANA!ESPANA!
June 29, 2008 at 2:56 pm
Pedro;
That aint the point I was making.
Its the same old tired shite about what Ade didnt or couldnt do, I was just referring to football matters, not the other shit.
Ah, remember football? Happy times.
June 29, 2008 at 2:57 pm
So does anybody know anything about this Amaury Bischoff we are signing next week?
June 29, 2008 at 2:57 pm
And I’m gonna wear my Arsenal cap to the pub
June 29, 2008 at 3:00 pm
pat;
He’s very talented, but has an ego problem, apparently.
June 29, 2008 at 3:00 pm
Faiir enough Angry and finest you’re right, way to go Cesc!
June 29, 2008 at 3:01 pm
Hi Geoff
I spent my important years in Bethnal Green too mate. Not sure of your age so don’t know if I know you or vice versa. I lived in the Peabody flats off Columbia Road.
Moved away at 19 when I married a girl from Charlton. Still visit Bethnal Green now and then but a lot has changed.
I saw the good things in AdeByeByes game but I must admit he has got to go. I like the Hunter although I have seen very little of him, anyone coming through the Ajax academy will have technique. Hunter also has a decent record, even if it is in a supposedly inferior League.
June 29, 2008 at 3:06 pm
Hi El Tel, Mansford street mate but moved to the charrming town of East Ham when I was young so I didn’t do much hanging around Bethnal Green, but you’re right, it’s a little upmarket now and all those 2 up 2 down terraces with outside toilets are expensive little town houses now aren’t they?
June 29, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Thanks Angry Loner,
I have searched but there is not a lot on him. It seems like he has not played for Werder Bremen seniors yet. More concerning is he has just come back from long term injury
I wont pass negative judgement until I have seen him, but it is hardly a signing of intent
Lets just hope it is another Sagna.
June 29, 2008 at 3:07 pm
Adebyebye did well for us on the field last season wether Ethan and co. like it or not. Something which pisses me off even more about the cunt though is the quote if you pay me like Henry I will play like him. Does that meanhe has been holding back then?
That Twat couldn’t play like Ray Hankin let alone the great TH14. I wonder if Tierry will still be his mate after listening to that bollocks.
June 29, 2008 at 3:10 pm
Geoff
Them houses are for the rich mate, a few of my pals lived in them Streets. You are a legend for surviving in Eastsham with all those knuckle heads there mate. The pubs over that way haven’t changed in all the years I can remember.
June 29, 2008 at 3:10 pm
I wonder is Henry has been given him any friendly advice?
I effin hope not. That is a sick thought! Does that mean I am sick too?
June 29, 2008 at 3:19 pm
Moving on to other matters, lets hope young Cesc plays the full 90 and destroys the Germans single handedly. On his return AFC offer him a 30 year contract paying him 200 grand a week and doubling his salary every year.
The young Spaniard gets to choose his playing partners and he has tapped up David Villa, David Silva and Danny Guiza. Cesc also had a word with Mr Buffon when retrieving the ball from his net after the Penalty and slipped him an Arsenal contract without the cameras catching him.
Tonight Cesc will assist with 1 goal and score 2 himself as the Spaniards win 3-1. After the match Cesc slips another contract into the hands of Sweinsteiger (poxy Smellin)
June 29, 2008 at 3:23 pm
Do you need a Doctor AngryLoner?
June 29, 2008 at 3:24 pm
The funny thing is that streak of piss Adebayor probably thinks he will return to an adoring public if his move falls through. He must think we are all illiterate and can’t read the lines and between the lines he puts out in the papers.
If he stays, I say we all start a campaign to get that tosser out of Arsenal. The looks on his face would be priceless.
He’s basically a hitch-hiker. Hitching a ride to greater climes. If Wenger does keep him, his reaction will be interesting. He will be stuck in the car with the doors shut. His true pre-Arsenal persona will come to the fore and sabotage his career!
June 29, 2008 at 3:24 pm
You are right he did El Tel
Some call him a one season wonder yet some also seem happy to want Santa Cruz as replacement, yet surely he too could have been a one season wonder. In 8 seasons at Bayern his best tally was 8!!!!!
For me Ade’s replacement needs to be a real signing of intent. It needs to be someone with a proven goal scoring record over a number of seasons, which is why maybe Villa or Huntelaar are the only viable options.
Huntelaar’s record is incredible, last 5 years, 26 in 35, 20 in 38, 45 in 47, 36 in 51, and 36 in 39 WOW.
I am no avid follower of the Dutch league, but even if the opposition is pants that is a good record. Dont want to miss out on another Ruud Van Horseface.

Well I do have man flu!
It would be an effin travesty if Spain don’t win the Euros.
Apart from them being the best team there, the Germans have been truly awful………… if only we could be that shite!

With ya on that one.
Eto’o for me ta!

Given the unanimous thoughts of gooners across pretty much every Arsenal blog and forum, I could actually see him getting booed if he ever pulls on the shirt again.

And that young brazilian Diogo as well.
He is supposed to be effin awesome, although I’m going by what others have said.

I think the bonus with Etoo is
If we buy him, at least he wont fuck off to Barcelona in two years time.

I think Huntaar will go to the Mancscum personally which is a real fucking shame. If push comes to the shove then I would like Etoo. Maybe we are looking at Crouch because he is the best of those that are available, that would be scary.

Hahahahaha!!
El Tel;
There is absolutely NOTHING in thise Crouch stories!
That just is not an option. Huntelaar will probably end up at Real.
I think we will sign Santa Cruz tho, hope Im wrong.

Conspiaracy Theory
Arsen Wenger is the Orchestrator behind the transfers of our best players. He see’s the big profits going into Club directors pockets and he has decided he wants some of it.
There are too many wierd things happening at our great Club that seems to go unchallenged from within.
The way our players are being linked is ridiculous. Cuntly told to go by PV4. The TH14 saga, anybody nearing 30 being dumped can anyone remember when he took this option) The Flamster saga, Hleb flavour ice cream, and now the 1 season Superstar.
GG got caught with his hands in the till and others are getting away with this.

Saying that, maybe, just maybe, knowing that Ade is being a tawdry cunt, demanding this that and everything, Wenger deiceds to go for Villa.
So, we have a quality replacement and also a player cesc himself has openly ‘tapped up’ meaning he aint going anywhere soon either.
2 for the price of one.
