So after a month of rumour and speculation Adebayor finally came out and said what we all wanted to hear, that he was staying, then in the same interview he said many other clubs were after him and he will decide where he goes next week. He’ll decide!!!
Many have been upset by this behaviour, indeed many are just plain angry, what he did was to raise everyones hopes, then dash them in the next breath, Togonator or Togotwat?
I’m going for the bit that ended in twat so here’s my view, I think he’s easily led, why? Because he has never had to learn how to behave or what to say to an adoring public, that he doesn’t really understand what a contract means, he really isn’t that bright, I also think the interviewer led him to say what he said, that said I don’t want to see the greedy arrogant tosser in an Arsenal shirt again, I would like to see Arsene stop pandering to these mercenaries and send out a message.
Ade had one good season in a team that created more chances than any other, see what he’s like at another team, he wasn’t that impressive at Monaco was he? How many of you got excited when we signed him?
Cesc loves the club and tells us he’s staying, Ade and Hleb clearly don’t, so should either rot in the stiffs or be sold for the max and be done with it.
I had enough of them, bring in someone that would want to play for the Arsenal, go after Micah Richards, he supports the Arsenal, he would love it if we bought him and so would we.
Yesterdays behaviour was cruel and uneccessary and even if he stays I will never like him again, or Hleb.
Onto better and happier news, Theo has been given the untouchable number 14, fantastic news, if anyone can do that proud, it’s Theo, I really, really rate this kid and think he will be a revelation this season, I hope Thierry comes out and says something, that would be a nice touch.
So just when we thought the speculation would stop, it begins again. This does nothing other than make our club look stupid and when rotten apples do that, they have to be discarded before it affects the whole barrel.
However he will need to bring in better or the team will be affected and I really don’t want another season like we just had, so I hope the boss has something in mind other than Ramsey.
Gilberto is a legend and should be kept, at the end of the season I think he was back to his best, but his loyalty is appreciated and should be rewarded. It seems to be a rarity these days at the Arsenal.
David Dein pops up again to say we need Usmanov’s money and we’re being left behind by the top 3 and Tottenham because we don’t or won’t spend, I wonder what his best mate Wenger says to him when they go out for a couple of pints.
Imagine…
DD - ‘Arsene you need to spend £70 million on star players’
AW - ‘No I don’t’
That would be a short and interesting conversation wouldn’t it?
June 28, 2008 at 8:47 am
And this is the problem with signing young players, they get to be good and then they leave, it’s a seriously flawed game plan.
We take the pain, someone else get’s the gain.

June 28, 2008 at 8:59 am
i want a transfer, other than ramsey, on monday, is that too much to ask?
June 28, 2008 at 9:01 am
When I go back to Africa it is obvious that a lot of people love the club. But now I have a chance of playing with one of the biggest clubs in the world.”
Adebayor added: “I haven’t had a chance to speak to the manager yet. But we will sit down next week and decide what is good for my career.
“We will have to meet with the manager before anything can be decided. But, as you know better than anyone, a lot of teams want me to play for them.
“It will not be a difficult decision. I’m just going to sit down with my agent and with my family and decide what is good for my career.”
Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf believes Adebayor has already made up his mind.
He told Setanta Sports News: “When I spoke with him I said ‘I’m waiting for you’. Let’s see what will happen.
“He already said he would come, but it depends now on Arsenal.
“If he leaves Arsenal, it’s a done deal. He comes to Milan.”
WHAT A COCKHEAD!
June 28, 2008 at 9:02 am
i cant wait for us to sell helb. and if the money is good i say Sell Ade. yes he done well for us last eason but if DUDU and RVP didnt get injurd he wouldnt have scored the goals he did.
im sure we can get somone with alot my BITE up front then our 1 out of every 5 shots Togotwat
June 28, 2008 at 9:03 am
alot MORE BITE. i mean
June 28, 2008 at 9:07 am
Gilberto is a legend and should be kept, at the end of the season I think he was back to his best, but his loyalty is appreciated and should be rewarded. It seems to be a rarity these days at the Arsenal.
Geoff you must of missed the interview with him prior to going back to Brazil to train with his national team , he said he was bitterly disappointed with his treatment this season and will think long and hard about his future , but he was trying to keep the disappointment out of his mind 4 the national teams sake and not think about arsenal at all !
Doesn’t sound good and will wenger use him like he wants to be played next season ??
I think he will be Next 1 gone .. and 1 of the last invincible’s to say goodbye …
But ade going is for the best , with a huge bank role for the cunt … we should get enough cash to get us out of the shit !!!
June 28, 2008 at 9:09 am
Gilberto will be going no where. he has way more experience than diaby and denilson, so i expect him to start the first game alongside cesc!
June 28, 2008 at 9:09 am
Matteaus said that Gomez would be a great replacement for Adebayor….not sure about that one.
Wenger will give an interview tonight on Sky Sports.
June 28, 2008 at 9:11 am
Ethen, Gilberto said yesterday that he wants to stay, but it’s up to the manager!
June 28, 2008 at 9:11 am
Hleb, Adebayor and any player who displays anything less than total commitment to the team must move on.
June 28, 2008 at 9:13 am
All the ade lovers will be quiet today wont they !
hmmm , Fuckin hate to say i told ya so !
the ‘TH14 come out and say im staying routine’ !
works every time on the arsenal suckers ..
You have to realize they are all merc’s !
all want more cash , for playing the sport they love !
We have to get with the program and stop bitching about it ..
pay the cunts what they want ..
but only after Ade has left
June 28, 2008 at 9:17 am
That’s what the manager is paid for though, to keep the players gobs shut. Ade’s a cunt and should fuck off today.
June 28, 2008 at 9:19 am
selling ade for over 20 million is a bigger con than the Italian job !
I hope he goes to barca or real , or someone we will meet in the C.L
Our midfield can make any striker famous !
thats the long and the short of it !!!
Id rather see someone who has got superior skill to begin with !
If only TH14 came back .. he would be amazed at our scoring opportunities now on offer
, it made a bum like ade look good , just imagine what it would do for someone like villa - TH14 ..
we need to keep hleb , but im sure he is packing as we speak !
June 28, 2008 at 9:21 am
le-grove is realy the grove man….all the posts are A grade and prompt.
keep groving.
June 28, 2008 at 9:25 am
i think there are better strikers than ade ok he has scored 30 goals but how many chances has he missed
June 28, 2008 at 9:28 am
when these agents leak out stuff like they have , it has all ended in precisely the manner
in which they’ve said it would .. them leaving , these guys work for the player , if the player wasn’t happy with the agent im sure he could sack them ..
What im trying to say is ade knew what his agent was blabbering on about .. He was testing the fuckin water .. Hlebs agent is the same .. Registering public interest !
( an unofficial come and get me plea ! )
But you cant tell me the player doesn’t know whats going on !
he pulls the strings for the agent to act to begin with !!!
Its the player thats pissed off that cesc or alike is getting more $$$ than they are !what ever the reason…
the player says 1 or 2 choice words to the agent ,agent goes public to the press with a little slip of words … and then arsenal need to come to the table with $$$
or lose a player !!!
its quite a simple process really
June 28, 2008 at 9:28 am
hleb , ade , oh and that nasri fellow who apparently had a medical more than a week ago !! Sought it out Arsene , it has become boring and tedious to the extent of embarrassing ! I trust the merry go round will start next week after the euros . I HOPE WE ARE ON IT . ADE ; not the sharpest tool in the box , no , but a fucking tool none the less.
June 28, 2008 at 9:28 am
This guy is not to be trusted. He always came across as a likeable bloke full of fun and was proud to wear the Arsenal colours but yesterday he showed us his true colours, so please get rid boss!.
June 28, 2008 at 9:29 am
andy
over 1000 id reckon !
June 28, 2008 at 9:29 am
true geoff apparently togotwat has done this routinely with his previous club monaco as well and even with his national team this cunt was a mercenary the very day he joined…..he didnt join because he was gona join the arsenal or play under arsene wenger he just joined coz he thought he could get a massive pay packet if he played well and if you listen to this interview you can see how he mentions that money is everything for footballers and he is no different.

Really enjoyed the post you were spot on.
However, I have a feeling that the boss already has a roll in mind for Ramsey this coming season.
June 28, 2008 at 9:34 am
Sorry it took a whille gunner_fever it’s because you had an attachment.
June 28, 2008 at 9:36 am
Arsenal FC are fast becoming like a footballing college, all the talented youth from around the world want to join us because they know they will leave as superstars. I would rather players join us because they like the club, fans, traditions, at the moment the club is just being used by players.
I hope we get adequate compensation for Adebayor, it might be for the best anyway as our reliance on him at the end of last season during his dry spell was one of the reasons we won nothing. We need 2 or 3 top strikers to get goals not one man.
June 28, 2008 at 9:36 am
no probs geoff its a pleasure to post here
June 28, 2008 at 9:39 am
Morning All. In regards to Ade, I am constantly struck by how naive and selfish he is. He is always going on about fun. I just want to have fun when I play, yes I bet he works hard, but he was under the tutelage of the greatest moulder of footballers around in AW. He is still way off the finished product. I believe he is going to fall harder than most who left the club.
June 28, 2008 at 9:42 am
ethangunner I’m an ade lover. The stupid cunt can still fuck off though.
June 28, 2008 at 9:43 am
Taking my last email further if we want to keep our top players and prevent them from going then we must sort out the money or we’ll just become a feeder club if we’re not that already.. If we ain’t got the loot then it’s time we handed over to Stan or we will get left behind by the Chelskis Man-ooze and the likes of Spurs will be getting stronger. Spurs could well take our place in europe next season. It’s no good fellow Gooners in us being smug and shouting “No way this could never happen!” Oh yes it could if we don’t wake up, we’ll have that nightmare Ugh! spurs in europe. ugh!.
June 28, 2008 at 9:44 am
villa would be a flop in England
June 28, 2008 at 9:46 am
what an arse hole…………………… ade shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
they come from a difficult background and when they see money..they have no loyalty.
dont wanna wrtie anything about that bastard……….” oh some clubs are after me”….yes the hell they are coz the jersey u wear make them come after u..its coz u played for ARSENAL and not a 2nd tier team.they made u what u r from a piece of shit and u are giving a loyal intrest for the trust we had in you…..you should be auctioned for coca cola championship coz u desrve to be there and never ever touch that ARSENAL logo on ur shirt otherwise we will come and fuck you.
June 28, 2008 at 9:47 am
the beers are going down well today i must say!
June 28, 2008 at 9:47 am
let the fuck him go and buy Villa AW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mornnig everyone
June 28, 2008 at 9:50 am
Great read Geoff,
I couldnt agree more…
Helb and Ade have made themselves look exteremely stupid and disloyal and AW has to sell them both and bring in two good replacements - but then we all know that.
Its interesting, most clubs are back in training this coming week, but we are not back until the 7th July
I am hoping that this will give AW the week prior to pre-season to sort out all this crap - and bring in those who has targetted. I think the Ramsey transfer was completed early, purely because Manure pushed the issue by announcing their agreement with Cardiff, had he not made a move, he would have lost out.
His other targets are different, and I think he is waiting for the 1st July which is when most clubs are back up and running after the summer break.
So my silly theory is that come Tuesday, the silly season will truely kick off, call me sad but I am looking forward to it… And I still think he will make his signings complete by the end of next week, ready to whip these players into shape
The question is - who will they be, and will they be who we hope for…
Roll on the 1st July
June 28, 2008 at 9:50 am
I completely agree - even if he stays - he has destroyed the affection gooners had for him. That interview which went out on Sky Sports News yesterday was astonishing. Speaking about himself in the third person???? “many teams are interested in Adebayor” - what a tool. We have watched this prick’s ego gradually grow during the the season - his first good one. At least Henry earned the right to carry an ego on the pitch after consistent success season after season. As you rightly pointed out we create more chances than any other side - most half decent strikers would score 20+ in this side over the course of a season. If he goes, he goes. At least you can guarantee that Croucho wouldnt get the Italian/Spanish clubs sniffing around every summer!
June 28, 2008 at 9:52 am
Not really a case of you telling us so ethan
You just said he was shit and you wanted him to leave, him leaving was something that always debated but I got the impression even us ade likers would be happy with getting 25+ for him. At that price it is good business………as long as we replace him with class not kindergarten. I think we also agreed he was not worth 80 or 120k unless he proved it and improved over another season.
What has happened now though, is that through his actions yesterday, Ade has alienated all of those who rated him. We still rate him, but he simply cant show that level of dis-respect and stay at the club.
Once again though, whoever clears news releases for Arsenal needs to be sacked, either that or Arsene does not know his players as well as he thinks he does. best thing he can do on the 7th is to ask the whole squad who wants to leave, and get rid of any more twats that can be doing damage to the other players.
they are replaceable, and the only players we have that aren’t are Cesc, Clichy and Sagna.
The bigger issue for me is that like or hate ade and hleb, we are now in a position where we will have lost 4 key players from the starting 11. Lehman (Who was the better keeper), Flamini, Hleb and Ade. Regardless of who we buy, there will now be that much change that by the time we settle and gel the leaders could be too far ahead.
Dont get me wrong, they both have to go but I think we will now be seriously up against it next season regardless of who we buy, so I fear it is another season of transition.
And you can’t count Ramsey either, as far as I am concerned if they both go, we need 6 players, 4 to replace those that have left and the 2 that we already needed to move up to the next level.
I know Arsene is in a bit of a dual role at the moment, in scouting and acting as an ambassador, but he seriously needs to start giving 100% back to Arsenal, as otherwise we will miss out on targets and end up glued to news now up to midnight on the 31st August.
Sort it out Arsene as the one thing you are definitely not doing at the moment……..
Is Reassuring me
June 28, 2008 at 9:56 am
too much hate Grove - chill…
Ade isn’t very bright, granted, but he wants to go to Milan & I accept his reasons are
almost certainly financial but if he goes for the approx price that’s being banded around, it’s my opinion, it will be good business for AFC. We have a manager who will use the money very wisely in improving the team.
For what it’s worth, I would love it to go towards getting Silva, for me a better player than Hleb & replace Ade with Pavalachenko(I’m not even going to try & spell it correctly) the 6ft Russian CF who looks to have everything Ade has & more. Guess the only worry with him is Russians don’t often set the world alight when they play for clubs outside Russia. I just think he’s quality & worth a gamble.
Really hope Cesc gets his hands on that trophy Sunday. Don’t ever remember watching a 20yr old run a semi final like he did. C’mon Cesc, show Ballack who’s boss!
June 28, 2008 at 9:58 am
Well put and bang on Pat.
June 28, 2008 at 10:00 am
I do agree with you on agents though Ethan
It will always be a murky world and it will always be about getting the best deal for their clients, and I cant argue with that, it is the Agents role.
What I dont like though and something that Ade has done, is that his agent was saying he was leaving the club, yet the player was telling the club (On the official website….twice) that it was rubbish and he was staying.
Once you get in that position it goes one of two ways
The Ade way where either he was truthful at first but his head has been turned behind the scenes (And I have to admit even in my industry I have been in positions where I have been approached and not been interested at first but, as time goes on and the package improves, I have ended up moving) or he is a complete twat and just tried to ease his way out of the door.
Or the Cesc way where the agent was talking without Cesc’s approval…Agent gets sacked.
June 28, 2008 at 10:01 am
Highgate, Mayank and RG sorry for the wait, RG of course there’s hate we’re all having the piss taken out of us. It doesn’t mean we’re not chilled though.
June 28, 2008 at 10:03 am
Pat how many jobs have ever gauranteed you 4 years salary? that’s what a contract is for, he has no right to get tempted.
June 28, 2008 at 10:06 am
RG
My concern is though that Wenger wont spend the money wisely. We cant be bringing players that will be ready in 2-3 years anymore and of those that have/are leaving Ade, Flamini and Hleb fell into that category.
We seem to always be in the black (and a lot in the black) when the transfer windows closes.
He needs to invest all of it this year including the money we make on players and the cash we already had available
June 28, 2008 at 10:10 am
I am not saying it is right Geoff,
I was trying to point out that maybe Ade’s early words on Arsenal.com were truthful but underhand tactics from his agent and AC Milan and Barca have won the mind games…..and at a time where Arsenal were not counteracting it as we are still to sit down with him on an improved contract and Arsene is out of the country.
Unfortunately in football unless you can afford to put a player in the reserves for the remainder of a contract, then that contract is pretty worthless. all a contract does is help to put a value on a player for selling. the longer that is left the more he costs.
June 28, 2008 at 10:14 am
spot on pedro. Im not going to bang on about Ade and Hlebs heads up their own arses but its surley now obvious they are only in it for the cash, so they can f*** off.
To replace Ade would be easy, f*** me I could score 30+ for the Arsenal, we create so many chances for our strikers its unbelievable.
Anyone well done to TW getting the no.14 shirt, he’s gonna be a big, big player for us next season.
June 28, 2008 at 10:15 am
Patthegooner Agents don’t get the best for thier client, they do what’s best for them. There are cases where the agents fee is worth more than the whole life of the players contract. There are probably exceptions but in general they are parasytical (can’t spell) scum who only need 3 players on thier books to be richer than the people they “represent”
in short they are mostly cunts.
June 28, 2008 at 10:16 am
Football is sick. Platini has a plan not to allow leveraged football takeovers and clubs living on the brink of disaster. The irony is that the clubs that harass Arsenal for players: Milan, Barca, Inter, Madrid, are all technically insolvent and would suffer more than any other (apart from Chelsea). What does this mean? It means that in two to three years time, they would not be able to compete with Arsenal and Man U on wages and fees. Now put this in the context of Dein’s rubbish comments and you realise he (Dein) in living in cuckoo land or is simply dishonest, or both.
As for Adebayor. Honestly, I have rarely seen a more overrated player with such an ego in my life. I say sell him just to prove to the world how poor a footballer he is. Then he will learn and yet again we will make lots of money for a dud from dumb Italians and Spaniards. Football really is sick but Platini seems determined to clean it up. If he succeeds, wages will stabilise and it will be more difficult for twats like Ronaldo and Adebayor to behave like Gods.
June 28, 2008 at 10:17 am
adebayor wont leave or will be sold……that statement he came out with last night saying”well sit down next week and decide” was i think words from his agent. i think when his agent seen the statement b4 saying he was staying at emirates he prob phoned him and went mad at him for saying it…..i think hes just after more money or rather his agent his. if he his only on 30.000 a week that aint alot for a footballer of his qualitys.
i want him to stay and i think arsenal fans eager for him to go now are shooting themselves in the foot….and why people are annoyed with hleb i cant understand hes come out a few times and said the stuff in the papers is crap…why you still angry with him.
if you should be moaning about anyone it should be either the board not giving wenger enough money or him not spending it on world class players like we was promised
June 28, 2008 at 10:17 am
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=jKgn_AvyUTs
i am really REALLY sick to death of other clubs always after our players and nothing but media bullshit and roumours about people leaving. from Anelka to vieria to Henry.
were going to get the same thing with Fabregas soon. you’ll see.
and like always arsenal or player does nothing to stop it. either say there leaving or say there staying. it isnt that hard. BUT twats like ADE says one thing and 1 hour later says somthing else.
What a arse Clown.
any ways im in need of some laughter, so im shearing a clip oF this Fat Chick i got on my Holiday. ENJOY!
June 28, 2008 at 10:20 am
I disagree Michael
It might not be the best in footballing terms, but regardless of how much an agent gets paid, neither Ade or Hleb would be leaving Arsenal if Barca and Milan were offering the same package.
I will re-phrase, they get the best possible finincial package for the player and I would imagine thier fee is base upon a commision % from the wage and signing on fee.
The way they operate though is disgraceful and they are parasytical scum….agreed on that.
June 28, 2008 at 10:23 am
morning
ade can really go..I would be more happy to see him leave than stay
eeryone also thought torres would be flop and look how he did.and I rate Villa better than him.
dont think arsene would buy him though
anyone know whats happening to hleb?
June 28, 2008 at 10:24 am
Sorry Tiny but that is bollocks
Do you honestly believe as an Arsenal fan that it was acceptable behaviour for Ade to do that yesterday. It was un-professional and showed a complete lack of respect for the club and the fans..
regardless of our wage structure or how much money Arsene has, it was unforgiveable.
June 28, 2008 at 10:24 am
If AW wanted to offer Adeego a new contract he would have done so already, the Clichy deal was done quickly and quietly. He is not an ‘Arsenal’ type player, no humility, no class, no brain and no team ethic, well there is still team Adebeyor for him.
June 28, 2008 at 10:25 am
im with patthegooner on that one
June 28, 2008 at 10:26 am
This Peter Crouch rumour is gathering momentum this morning
It seriously worries me. He is a similar player to Ade but the fact that neither AC or Barca are interested and Portsmouth and Newcastle are shows that we would be buying the poorer version of Ade.
PLEASE NO.
June 28, 2008 at 10:27 am
Do you know I would be happy for AFC to pay these traitors to keep their muths shut first.
Then I hope Arsene sells every player who has double talked to the press or whoever ie; I love the club and want to win things but I know many clubs want ne etc etc’.
Sorry but if THE ARSENAL is not the top in the world for you fellas then piss off and fast. What e the Gunners do not want again ever is another ‘Peteit, Overmars, Viera, Henry ‘I want to leave’ very season for another four seasons.
Now by their own big mouths AdeB & Hleb have made it clear to us they want more money rather than have the quality only found at THE ARSENAL, so Arsene please get rid of them now and use it as a lesson for all of the other players here and to come.
June 28, 2008 at 10:28 am
Love being right. I have said this since summer 2006. When the idiotic Wenger apologists like Amos, LD, GoodtoBaGooner et al all slated me. That was, it is all well Wenger having a so-called masterplan bringing on youth etc, but if you don’t win shit, it ain’t ever gonna materialize because players will want out. Never been proved wrong, and never will. Even if we bought in Villa and Silva as an example, we’d still prolly wouldn’t win anything major because of Wenger, despite it increasing our chances. Never won loads of titles when we did have a quality squad.
As for Adebayor, what’s the point in offering the cunt a new contract? Once his head has already turned in which it has, there is no way back. It just be the same shit summer after summer. Same with that cunt Hleb. Our club is full of cunts FACT! Greedy cunts like Adebayor should fuck off back to the slums and poverty of Africa, don’t realize how lucky they are to get what they currently do. Same old shit. “Oh yeah, we had a poor childhood when growing up, never had money for food etc.” Now they’re all grown up, they totally abuse what they have etc. AdebayCUNT. He doesn’t deserve the life he has been blessed with.
June 28, 2008 at 10:28 am
I cant see the point of hating Ade for wanting to leave our club
Wenger knew his character before he bought him.. and yes he is full of himself
but as Ade put it, he didnt buy me for my eyes only, but because he thought I could do a job..which he did
he is perfectly entitled to go to a club that pays him more money
why do Arsenal supporters think that one should love Arsenal to play for them
this is business.. Arsenal players are mates to the extent that they see each other every day and work for the same firm .. thats all.. forget the rest
do you think Nasri joins because he loves Arsenal??
NO.. its a biz decision based on his current ability versus his aspirations
we are not competitive in paying salaries to players, so we will have players leaving us..simple..
Togo is poor and he should aspire to be able to make as much money as he can
you musnt forget that he is also taking a risk on by leaving.. if he doesnt perform, his career will nosedive .. so its not as clear cut as some of you make it
ONE thing is clear though and that is that Arsenal’ s youth policy is a complete failure
the reason we buy players like Ade/Hleb/Nasri is to get supposed loyalty from them by getting them to acknowledge how great an influence Wenger has been in their careers and thereby getting these guys to stay on low salaries because Daddy made them what they are today
I say bullshit and hats off to Ade for shooting through this myth by saying that he wasnt bought because he was a poor Togo rentboy with hazelnut eyes and a shaven bum
Ade is 100% in his rights to leave and so is Cesc and all the others .. this is a business and if Arsenal wants to play with different rules, so be it , but dont complain..
so now Arsene .. GO OUT AND BUY ETO’O with this money .. buy a 27 years old who wont need to be trained up in exchange for your supposed loyalty.. and pay him the money he wants.. Arsenal has to change .. not the players.. and thats why we are falling behind .. and yes and I forgot, bring David Dein back..and with him the days we won trophies ..
June 28, 2008 at 10:34 am
patthegooner - I think you have been spot on with your assesment of our idiot, but I think Crouch would be a good signing, you never hear about him mouthing off in the press, he leads the line intellegently, has a great first touch for a big man and is not to ‘big time’ to stop any of our kids coming through. I think Crouch is unfortunate in the fact people laugh at him cause of how gangly he is, he seems to be a victim of his physic and therefore unfashionable. I think he would have scored 40+ at us last year, and remember how he destroyed us in the league game at the Emirares last season.
June 28, 2008 at 10:36 am
i just hope the money is re invested in quality . if this summer we lose ade , hleb and flam and sign unknownes again you will have to start believeing that we buy young ,sell for lots , more money for the board and no re investment in tha club . NOT GOOD
June 28, 2008 at 10:36 am
I don’t think we can start making rash judgements until we know what the coach is going to do.
If Ade stays… he will hopefully kick on. If he goes… we get £40mil.
Win win, right?
He is not our number 1 striker, so lets not get too bent out of shape over him!
BB… he isn’t entitled to go to a club that pay him more… he has a 3 year contract with us, so he has to stay.
People are hating on him because he has given us 2 years of shit… 1 year of goodness and now he wants out.
He, more than any Arsenal player, owes the fans.
Togo is poor? What does that matter… he is not funding the government… I probably cost £10k to build a house out there… once your family is paid up… you’re done. Lets not buy into the charitable Ade hype…
June 28, 2008 at 10:36 am
It is not his sentiment we are pissed off about BB
It is the way he did it,
If he came out and said unfortunately Arsenal can not meet my pay demands, so I am going to go and play for someone that can then fine
But he has repeatedly come out saying there was no problem and he was perfectly happy…
And I am a Pro Ade fan. I dont hate him for wanting to leave, but I hate him for the Adebayor Ego inflated TV charade that happened yesterday. Maybe he was jealous that Cesc got his own show.
I think Ethan was right earlier when he said he could understand Hleb. At least he just came out with it albeit with a bit of bollocks about not liking big cities.
June 28, 2008 at 10:37 am
TA6 - u must be having us on. if he aint good enough for liverpool he sure as hell aint good enough for us. he would be nothing more then cover for our other strikers.
not only that i dont think he fits in to out brand of football
June 28, 2008 at 10:37 am
TA6… no slagging your own buddy.
June 28, 2008 at 10:38 am
yes i agree he shouldnt of said it…..hes just after more money thats not a crime.ok sell him and then we have tofind someone else….the that player will prob have to come from abroad and take a while to find his feet in the prem that could mean another trophey less season…..i really dont want that. i want this team to stay together because we wasnt far off last season…..arsenal fans cant you see that.
June 28, 2008 at 10:42 am
Raif - I accept your point, but wasn’t Bergkamp not good enough for Inter, Viera not good enough for Milan and Henry not good enough for Juve. Yes I think he is defineatley an Arsenal type player
June 28, 2008 at 10:43 am
I will explain a bit more BB
I was watching SSN yesterday, and once the first press conference was finished I though fucking superb, at least we have put that one to bed…. Well done Ade for coming out and re-assuring the fans, great bit of loyalty.
Then an hour later SSN announced it on the hour “It was the news Arsenal fans were waiting to hear……But Wait……he appears to have changed his mind” suddenly in one to ones he is infact talking about going to Milan. Ok they were leading questions but he did not deny them…far from it.
Pedro, no its not good to make rash judgements, but this will happen every summer now with Ade, unfortunately his Ego will see to that. I think part of that conference was almost aimed to force Wenger’s hand.
June 28, 2008 at 10:44 am
how was bedfordshire pedro?
June 28, 2008 at 10:46 am
Only one replacement for Adebayor, thats Benzema he would be brilliant
June 28, 2008 at 10:46 am
ITS REALLY SIMPL E NOW,
WENGER TO SAY TO BARCA,
ADEBAYOR, FOR ETO,
THANK YOU VERY MUCH..
cant wait to hear what le boss says tonight,
Ade You are a stupid, Greedy Disloyal ,Cunt, hope you get the arsenal curse when you leave ,
One Season Ago Pal you signed a new Deal,
The thing that saddens me is
The Words Have come staright form your stupid Gob , not from your agent ,or a fleet street hack.
YOU HAVE SHOWN YOU HAVE NO CLASS,
A WONDERFULLY GIFTED 20 YEAR OLD IS SHOWING YOU HOW TO BEHAVE LIKE A TRUE PRO,
And he’s doing it on the big stage infront of bllions..
CESC IS KING !!!!
June 28, 2008 at 10:47 am
This is what Ade thinks of us
“Don’t moan, you’ll be making millions when you sell me.”
“It won’t be a difficult decision. If Arsenal sell me, they are going to get £40m, maybe £47m and they bought me for £7m.
“So everyone is getting the benefits. They have to make a good decision and I have to make a good decision as well.”
Seriously if we are getting 40m for him, I would personally chauffer him to Milan.
June 28, 2008 at 10:50 am
On one hand many Arsenal fans complain about the lack of loyalty shown by many players (e.g. Flamini) who are lured away with the promise of higher wages. Yet, many would have the club sell itself to an Uzbek oligarch with a questionable past so the club can get money to cater to the same greedy players that we so detest.
Usmanov’s money would likely only be a short term advantage as UEFA and/or FIFA seem determined to institute rules mandating that teams operate within their earning capacity. Chelsea, Liverpool, and Man. United are all carrying huge debt loads which they continue to add to.
Do we Arsenal fans want to see the club sold to Usmanov, only to see it become another soulless club like Chelski, just for the sake of some silverware? I DON’T. I think the team is capable of winning trophies as it stands. It may take us another year or so, but I would rather wait than sellout the teams traditions and history for the sake of a few pieces of silver.
Do you think that Usmanov cares about the club (fans, players, and staff) and what it stands for OR is it just a short term plaything to give Usmanov some legitimacy? BEWARE of Mr. Usmanov and his honey tongued viper David Dein. This is a power play for them, another business deal, not a passion for the club and for what it represents.
June 28, 2008 at 10:51 am
I just can’t believe there is so much hype around Ade? He is hardly Thierry is he? Not a patch…
He is just a thick footballer being led by a greedy agent… fuck him, I am just not fussed. He’ll show himself up without a cesc or hleb to feed him.
June 28, 2008 at 10:51 am
TA6 - i see ur point but with Viera he was a unkown. no one heard of him before he came to us and there was other players before him in the packing order.
Henry was a Winger at the time and had a few bad seasons same with Bergkamp when he was at Inter. they didnt play well at all. and im puting that down to either the style of football that is plaid in itlay or its not knowing how to get the best out from the player.
But Crouch on the other hand is well known. and done rather well for pool and england but still cant get in the starting line ups of either of them teams. and it would be the same if he came to us.
June 28, 2008 at 10:52 am
Canadian… No one wants the Uzbek…
I would take the Yank though.
Evo… it was marvelous!
June 28, 2008 at 10:52 am
I would actually rather see Crouch come in if it means that we will have a player that realises a good thing when he has it.
Unbelievable the comments in The Mirror today (I’m assuming they are true). “I will wait for a decison” Well my stupid lumbering oaf of a friend if you are asking for 100+ a week then good day to you sir and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
I would be more upset if the club gave in because it would seem somewhat that we had been held to ransom. But fundamentally the team needs to be built around Fabregas not Adebayor as such to let him go wouldnt be such a bad thing, especially not for 20+million.
Crouch would be ok, I always get the feeling his appearance makes us all assume that he is rubbish but in fact he is pretty skilllful and definately not as bad a player as some of you have said. But for me there is only one other player that I would 100% back and that would be Roque Santa Cruz, premiership proven and with decent service could be a demon in an arsenal shirt. Let’s not forget RvP either… and of course lets all keep our fingers crossed that he finds his fitness!
June 28, 2008 at 10:53 am
Canadian Gooner - there is NO WAY IN HELL i would want us to sell some Russian slut
we dont want people like that near our club. Kronke on the other hand is a Real Sports man so i can allow that,
June 28, 2008 at 10:56 am
im not interested in Usmanovs money i dont think anybody is….cant see that happening. maybe kronkae is a good idea after all the guy loves his sport and owns a soccer team in the U.S.
I like that pavlechenko if adebayor was to go……cant really believe this crap about peter crouch…pls tell me its not gonna happen.
June 28, 2008 at 10:57 am
p.s. I dont think we would become souless like Chelsea if we sold up to Usmanov, let’s not forget Chelsea never had a soul to begin with!!
That said there is something about him I don’t like, but I believe Dwe have lost something in not having Dein there, I get the impression he had the knack of convincing players that they were in the best place they could possibly be!
June 28, 2008 at 11:01 am
BARTY CROUCH NO FUCKING WAY !!!!!!!!
i cant believe any one would consider him an arsenal player
NOT FUCKING GOOD ENOUGH ,END OFF!!!
June 28, 2008 at 11:01 am
BB, Is this a business, oh! shit I thought it was just footy. For fucks sake, I dont follow Telstra, or BHP, I follow Arsenal, but now it is apparaently a business, well I might just say go & get fucked business, coz the Ades of the world are fuck’n cunts. Go fuck your self Ade & helb. NOW!!!!! Where has my team gone.
“You are my Arsenal, my only Arsenal. You make me happy when skys are grey”
No offence BB!!! This is a slag off @ the mercenaries of the Club.
June 28, 2008 at 11:04 am
go the wallabies
June 28, 2008 at 11:05 am
EVO ,SORRY MATE EGG CHASING IS BORING ,MINORITY SPORT,
June 28, 2008 at 11:06 am
No real Arenal fan want jabba, and as for Dein, you only hear from him if he thinks there is potential for unrest among the fans and hopes to win votes among us. Anyone who supports red and white is a moron or totnum scum. It would be our darkest day if these two got control. I think our board have done a fantastic job, obviously none of it would be possible without AW. I think Kronke’s appointment to the board will bring stability.
BREAKING NEWS - Huntellar has refused a new contact at Ajax. Is he the Ade replacement?
June 28, 2008 at 11:07 am
its better than league
June 28, 2008 at 11:07 am
Evo, Oh there you are, I’ve chucked footy, now just follow footie.
June 28, 2008 at 11:07 am
Spuds make me laugh - they are linked with Crouch, Cant Ramos think for himself instead of going after those who are linked with us……………
If we sign Crouch, we would have two English internaitionals in our team,
How happy would we all be then……
I wouldnt, Id be a miserable as sin if he joins us,
On the other hand, just how many goals would Crouch score if he played for us, he is good with his head, feet and can turn well - and you Guys all seem to love his missus.
Anyone think he just maybe the EPL player!!!!???????????????/
;(
June 28, 2008 at 11:08 am
yeah i thought u must have been out bbq’ing something or you had cracked i?
June 28, 2008 at 11:09 am
Just preordered Me and my brothers new home shirts for this season im getting Vela 12 on the back hes getting Fabregas 4, let’s hope they shine next season
June 28, 2008 at 11:14 am
TREZE13 - iv preorderd mine aswell with ” AKB ” on the back
June 28, 2008 at 11:14 am
lol what number? can u get zero on the back?
June 28, 2008 at 11:17 am
I can’t believe this bloody Ade crap. What the fuck goes on in his head. Does he really care about the fans. You know, really, I’ve got to say, when I used to here that Adebayor give him the ball etc that is a slur on the other players. This bloke was idolised, yet he has the front to stick it up the fans with ” oh I don’t know, I think I could do better.
Come on cobber. Show the fans some respect. I’ll give you the same respect now as i give that cunt Mugabe.
June 28, 2008 at 11:17 am
I’m not getting a shirt until I know what number Villa will be given!!!!!!!!!!
Joke, 4 and Cesc as always
June 28, 2008 at 11:19 am
Ethan, what can I say.
June 28, 2008 at 11:19 am
TREZE13 - LOL yes thats what i was thinking aswell lol
June 28, 2008 at 11:20 am
Sandman,
I take your point about Chelski. However, if Usmanov can buy out one of the other major shareholders the club is his. This is why the club are now actively courting Stan Kroenke.
June 28, 2008 at 11:20 am
I would have had Flamini on my shirt, ooh well, will just have to choose between Cesc and Gael
June 28, 2008 at 11:23 am
No Russian please, Stan the man though will bring something good in. And he is a sportman, and shrewd business man
June 28, 2008 at 11:26 am
That bloke in the avatar said he had a certain swagger when he celebrated a goal, coz he felt he did it for the fans. He did every boys dream, he jumped the fence & played for the club he loved, & some of his mates were in the crowd. Who do you do it for Ade????? Don’t say your fuckin family back in Togo coz I don’t give a fuck about them.
You know its quite sad where I am with Ade @ the moment, coz it might just be his stink’n fuck’n agent that does his talking. But you are too stupid to stand up to him, or gutless. Its going to take a shit load for you to be back in my good books sunshine.
Sorry Geoff/Pedro but I’ve had enough. Just moderate me next time I’ll get the message.
June 28, 2008 at 11:30 am
Loyalty is a thing of the past in football, its become a revolving door sport where money dictates your next step. Untill we match the pay of the big european teams we will always loose our top players. but on the other hand 30 million for Adebadonkey is certainly worth taking.
June 28, 2008 at 11:31 am
If Villa does come then im getting a long sleeve one with his name………….. fans can dream i guess.
June 28, 2008 at 11:35 am
Ades problem is hes a greedy ungrateful ba**ard look at Cesc we have all seen what that the boy genius can do week in week out now he has emerged as a world class player on a big stage.
Do you see him holding the club over a barrel and trying to rape it??? no same as Clichy and Bac Toure & Gilberto proud to be one of us.
Hleb Ade I offer my services to you to help you pack and move house im sure im not alone in that.
June 28, 2008 at 11:38 am
Lost my piggy again, lost interest with Ade and Helb, off to watch some cricket,
We will probably lose that too - TTFN
June 28, 2008 at 11:38 am
Cesc may be loyal now, but do you actually think he will stay once AW leaves?
June 28, 2008 at 11:39 am
Why do so many of you want Villa next season, it’s another risky option. He is obviously a great player but would we benefit from buying him. Should RvP stay fit (and I know that’s a big should) isn’t it better to take the little and large option.
We are also forgetting Bendtner, several important goals and a handful of assists at 19 yrs old is something to look forward to. And I hate to sound like AW but we have more signings than on paper if you look at Vela, Eduardo, Ramsey, RvP, Rosicky, Nasri (I assume).
Sell Ade for 20+ and Hleb for 15+, get Roque for around 12 and a good Centre back and I think we will be ok!
June 28, 2008 at 11:41 am
Morning all.
How come when a player refuses to play in two games and refuses to go out on loan and is a total pain in the ass we should keep him and put him in the reserves (were he would refuse to play),
Yet two other players who want more money after they have had a pretty good season can fuck off???
June 28, 2008 at 11:42 am
I want Villa for one reason him Eduardo and RVP are not likely to all be injured at the same time so we would have at least on fit world class striker at all times
June 28, 2008 at 11:51 am
then again never know with our luck
June 28, 2008 at 11:52 am
I was just wondering if anyone has the link to the EXACT interview with Ade done with Sky news reporters…cause i have a strange feeling he DID NOT say what the press wants us to believe. Hleb in my opinion is probably going to say in the next few days that he never wanted to leave arsenal and all that shit cause barcelona have decided to get Arshavin instead.
If Ade does leave i dont think Wenger will get a replacement. There just arent enought talent and cheap players for his liking
June 28, 2008 at 11:53 am
He did say it… I watched the interview on SSN…
June 28, 2008 at 11:56 am
If he DID say it then i have nothing more to say. We should sell him for the money. he would be missed though. I guess Wenger will buy someone like Santa Cruz or even make Bentdner a starting striker
June 28, 2008 at 11:56 am
Pedro what is the diffeence between Diarra, Hleb and Ade It’s not friday so it isn’t the start of a joke?!!
June 28, 2008 at 11:57 am
oh hi pedro, Jamie T is good and a nice change of pace from most of my music thanks for the recommendation
June 28, 2008 at 12:03 pm
Do you not get a 3rd/4th playoff in the Euros
That was my banker for a few beers in front of the football later but I cant find any listings
June 28, 2008 at 12:05 pm
Diarra wanted to play, the other 2 want to play somewhere else for more money
June 28, 2008 at 12:07 pm
So who should be made to rot in the stiffs more in your opinion michael?
June 28, 2008 at 12:09 pm
ade is a prick.
(as much as i adore the 30 goals last season but does he know what he want?)
he is as good as gone if he really did have that chat with seedorf.
btw did dein ask arsene to spend? …good luck on that !
June 28, 2008 at 12:09 pm
No problem Treze.
No playoff? Shit… I was banking on that as well!
I just read the Mail… that interview is bizarre.
To me it sounded like this…
‘I’ll stay if I have to, I love the club. But if Arsene accepts the £50mill… I’ll happily go.’
Did you know he hasn’t even watched Barca or Milan play… he reckons he doesn’t know their style!
You have to laugh at him…
June 28, 2008 at 12:10 pm
No need to slag Ade off…you lot never liked him anyway..in fact most of you hate him…it’s dissapointing he wants to leave but he had too many haters amongst his own fans…he could not have been too comfortable with that..I ain’t making a case for him..but the amount of hate some fans poured on him did not help matters..do not kid yourself into thinking that fabregas and van persie will remain at Arsenal all through their careers…as long as we continue with the current wage structure and not win trophies we will be in danger of losing other top players..
fabregas will end up at Barca or Real in another 2 to 3 seasons …the reason why there hasn’t been a long queue of clubs after van persie is because of history of injuries..if gets through next season without serious injury then he’s off too as he has already stated this season that Arsenal do not pay their top players enough..
So do not slam Ade too hard..
Face it !!! we have unwwittingly become a selling club…until we pay up for the new stadium which will free up funds we will continue to lose our top players to the likes of Barca,Real and Milan!!
June 28, 2008 at 12:10 pm
If I were his agent I would have been furious with Adebayor initial statements. I would tell him he’s just blown his chances of a pay rise. you need them to think you might leave if we don’t get a good deal.
In any case Ade has made a great contribution to our team, if he was to leave for the kind if figures quoted it would not bother me.
In reality Arsenal is the party control of the situation.
June 28, 2008 at 12:15 pm
I think sell ade get anyone (santa cruz maybe) swap hleb for yaya
June 28, 2008 at 12:17 pm
What is the difference between ManU/ Ronaldo and Arsenal/Adebayor?
Does that make Man U a selling club too?
The stadium is on a fixed rate 23 year loan as far as i am aware so it should never affect the wage structure, we just give the wrong players too much and the ones that deserve it too little..
June 28, 2008 at 12:19 pm
Well said David…
What about Barca for getting rid of Eto’o and Ronnie…
June 28, 2008 at 12:19 pm
top players you say? we’ll see…
June 28, 2008 at 12:21 pm
Adebayor, Adebayor………..show him a “score” and he’ll head for the door.
Asebayor, Adebayor………..we don’t wanna see you at Arsenal no more.
June 28, 2008 at 12:22 pm
anaconda - i totally disagree with your views on Cesc, by the time AW goes - if he goes (and it will be his doing if he does) THOF will have silverware, great players either bought or having come through the reserves - Barazite, Merida, Vela, Wilshere, Sunu, Lainsbury, Gibbs and many more -and then with the likes of Theo, Clichy, Bac, Nik etc, there will not be a definate reason for him to leave.
Just because AW may go, another great boss could come in, so many could by then be in the frame
Tony Adams
Dennis Bergkamp
Van Basten
Hiddink
Bilic
All of whom will continue to play good football
Cesc is on a good wage, a wage that reflects his play and attitude, and I for one dont expect him to turn his back - not unless AFC muck things up big time
June 28, 2008 at 12:23 pm
The old stadium used to pay the wages of DB10, TH14, SC23 PV4. etc Now we make more profit on a matchday after we paid the loan we can only afford Ramsey, and Nasri and he wanted more money it don’t add up!
June 28, 2008 at 12:24 pm
according to a member in arsenal-mania forums called swish who is a good poster and been there very long;
There seems to be a secret medical lined up for next week. According to a good source at the club who I got to know during my FA days is saying that Robin Van Persie gave a tour of London and Ashburton Grove to Wesley Sneijder and his agent a couple of days ago.
From what I have been told, Real Madrid are willing to take £25m for one of their better players last season to recoup some money for an impending Ronaldo bid.
I can only presume that he will be drafted in as a replacement for Hleb, but either way, he’ll definitely add something to our squad depth. We’ll have to wait and see methinks, my mate has been wrong before but then, he has also been right before as well.
If it’s a straight replacement for Hleb, then I’d definitely be happy with the swap, at least Sneijder can provide better assists and goals than Hleb ever could.
now wouldnt that be just fabulous.
June 28, 2008 at 12:26 pm
Anaconda, I follow The Arsenal. I have stuck by Ade until yesterday. I did not force him/his agent to carry on like he has. Those on Le Grove who “slagged’ Ade off are vindicated as far as I’m concerned . I was wrong for supporting him.
June 28, 2008 at 12:27 pm
gunnerf - now that would be awesome news, what day is the medical ’supposed’ to be, any idea??
June 28, 2008 at 12:28 pm
….Cheers Pedro/Geoff I’m not in moderation.
June 28, 2008 at 12:29 pm
Why do these people come on here make a point, you reply to there point then you here no more of them they must read the replies, at least argue or admit you were wrong..
June 28, 2008 at 12:30 pm
Sneijder has an evil look in his eyes like a crazy man. I like him
June 28, 2008 at 12:35 pm
im not sure yet rico..
this is his second post after i asked him if the source was trustworthy..
i ain’t sure of anything about this rumour wolverine( gunner_fever ), just passing on what I heard. Personally, I reserve judgement until an official statement is announced.
Just thought I’ll let everyone on here dissect to kingdom come and back, seeing as what this forum is ridiculously good at.
————————————————————————————-
that was his second post
June 28, 2008 at 12:36 pm
this is what van persie said last season in an interview for arsenal.com
Sneijder hailed Van Persie as “one of the best players at Arsenal” and his compatriot was quick to repay the compliment.
“I like Wesley as a person and even more as a player,” said Van Persie. “I’ve been playing for the national team for two years now and he has been playing for the national team a bit longer, and I always like to play alongside him.
“He is always looking forward, he’s always trying to make things happen. He is like an Arsenal player. Arsenal players always look forward and want to make the game.
“Wesley is a player like that and I think he made the right decision to stay one more year [at Ajax] and get everything out of it. He can achieve nice things and it is good for Ajax too to have him.”
June 28, 2008 at 12:37 pm
I’ve never liked Adebayor. His past antics and his body language did not sit well with me. I made a point of never joining in with that moronic chant that was started at Fulham away last season just because I knew e was a grade A twat and would feck off as soon as he could.
That arrogance allied to his shitty technique means he is comfortably my most hated Arsenal player ever.
June 28, 2008 at 12:38 pm
Gunner fever, are these your cousins? Check out the hair.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vv-5EOAOTQM
June 28, 2008 at 12:38 pm
BB, I agree, I think people are being too harsh on Ade. Yes he is under contract but players get bought out all the time! Hell, most of the players we are being linked with are under contract! Ade is on 30K a week. His conversion rate last season (his first season as our primary striker )was only maginally less than Torres. AC Milan/Barca are willing to pay him over 80K a week. He has to do what is best for him and his family! People say he’ only had one good season. Well, you can say the same about Nasri, Benzema, even Arshavin…remember this was he’s 1st season as our primay striker.
June 28, 2008 at 12:40 pm
why would you say that gnarleygeorge9
June 28, 2008 at 12:40 pm
gnarley - there is only so much any of us fans/followers can take. Had the one ‘im staying’ interview been given yesterday, I think most would forgive him for employing a twat of an agent, but he was the one, not his sgaent who came out with the two i/vs, all words were from his mouth - for that I think he is just plain stupid, and shows nothing but disrespect for AFC, his colleagues, and us fans.
Whatever AW thought before yesterday, I think he has no choice but to sell him, and quickly. Replace him with a proven goal score with pace.
That for me is unforgiveable - and my pictures, are coming down !!
And actually, dont bite my head off, but if Crouch or Santa Cruz are bought and give us 30 goals next season, together with 10 from Theo and Nik - 15 - 20 from RvP & Dudu (injuries allowing)- would we really that badly off. Also, we could well see a few goals from Vela, Thomas, and other midfield players….
Its not all doom and gloom - we just need Ade and Hleb sold now and replaced
June 28, 2008 at 12:42 pm
If Ade broke his leg last year would he have asked for a pay cut?
June 28, 2008 at 12:43 pm
anyone in particular david??
June 28, 2008 at 12:45 pm
Again Southafrica Gooner
I have no real problems in him leaving to to do whats best for himself and his family.
But did you see the Adebayor Circus yesterday, it was embarrasing for both himself and the club and like I said earlier, he has now alienated another chunk of Arsenal fans by his actions. Not because he wants to move but because for me he showed Arsenal and more importantly us fans a complete lack of respect.
And i for one am thinking more and more that yesterdays charade was a planned event to alienate fans and force Wengers hand.

pedro.. a contract is an agreement within a context
the context of football in 2008 means that if a player wants to leave, he is in a powerful position to do so.. in the same vein as English courts throwing out prenuptial agreements these days .. despite them being contracts, they are worthless
pat.. I actually think that Ade is unusually frank .. he will make the club money and he knows as well as everybody else that there are no charities around for bankrolling our existence on this sad planet
if I was him or Flamini, I would try and maximize my revenue as well and orchestrate a move away..again, he is also taking a risk on..we shouldnt over elaborate on the technicalities.. its virtually impossible to leave without creating confusion .. and the club plays to this as well
gnarley.. mate .. you are entitled to be a romantic.. this doesnt mean that everybody else has to be that way
Evra’s move to Europe meant sleeping rough in Italy .. Ade’s move from Togo probably meant a few hardships as well on the long and dangerous and lonely way out of misery and desolation
I can understand that all of you want our players to say that they love our club
but I dont care .. I want results..top players..no loyalty against “I turned you into a world class player bullshit”..
and btw, there are still a lot of casulaties around in terms of who makes the grade.. neither Arsenal nor anybody else is a charity sponsoring incompetence..again I support Ade in that sense
we only use our victim’ s face when it suits us .. not when we kick players out as we do every year
the only thing I dont want is us short selling players this season .. as this will be the most expensive transfer period ever.. and 30MM quid might not buy us much
and if he stayed on, and scored goals, I would still be happy and couldnt care less if he was 2 minutes from leaving or not .. what I dont want to stomach is failure to win trophies under current setup Fiszman/Wenger + Kroenke .. that I had enough of ..
bring Dein back .. he knows how to win .. and to play the game!!!!!!!!

G fever, That Wesley has a crazy look, or Boogie fever? If its boogie fever, well, I don’t know, when gunner fever came up I immediately thought of Boogie fever by the Sylvers. I’m in a crazy mood. No off
