Tell me straight, why do you want to leave Arsenal? After all, they are a great club, always the leaders, this year they were the strongest in the league until they capitulated in the Premier League.
Is it only money that is the problem? Is working for a club that pays crap money the problem?
In life, everything changes. I believe that in world football there is 10 top clubs, and when a couple of those clubs are interested in you and they offer better terms, you have to listen. But Arsenal have helped me, I am grateful to Wenger for what he did for me.
Alexander, what club will you play for next season?
I still do not know myself yet. I am in Negotiations with 2 clubs. In the near future, everything must decide. I commend the “Barcelona” offer.
How do you feel about head coach, Arsene Wenger?
I talked with Arsene twice before the end of the season. I am also not so easy to shy away from this club, because for me it is home. I think he is upset. Although you better ask him, suddenly he was less than pleased.
How do you feel about Inter and the Russians?
Honestly, I would not like to talk critically about Inter. I do not know what happened. The chances have increased for all Belarussian players. If we are coming into contact with World Cup, the chances increase many times over. Russians have been great – they spent two cool games (with Sweden and Holland) and now all the players have a lot of offers from foreign clubs. Therefore, I repeat, everything depends on us.
Do you have a deteriorated personal relationship with Wenger after you spoke in Milan?
There was not nothing. It is not all so bleak. This is all nonsense… Some ice cream was eaten…. Basically, I just gave them tickets, because my son Nicholas Shpilevskogo agent arrived at the game, I passed through these people and gave my friends tickets. This does not mean I have been offered to Inter. I have a normal relationship with Wenger.
Maybe if Arsenal sell Adebayor, and buy Arshavin, you will stay?
He is a very cool and talented football player. He has all the ingredients to become great. I would advise “Arsenal” not to sell. Arshavin has so many proposals. I always liked watching him. Sometimes he did not know how good he was, I had a feeling that he would shine… I think that every club will want him which is good. Players with such class should be in the Premiership. Maybe we will find them in one of our clubs this season. This is possible. Let’s see.

This season “Arsenal” lacked confidence, or something. A recession. Even though it is hard to explain. After Eduardo broken leg and had a fracture, we lost the advantage.
Who is your idol?
I have one Idol – Zidane. Since he ended his career, I have two players that I liked very much, Messi and Fabregas.
I think this is still a very young team and they lacked the class.

Great idea for the nights post – I think the Hleb situation is very diiferent to Ade .
Had Hleb not been up to naughty things in Milan, which to be fair brings back the Cole/Chelsea thing for all of us – he could stay, , but I for one can never ever trust him again. Its sad, but he has to go, let him give another club ‘one season’ – After all, that is really all he has given us…

i seriously think both of them are on their way out of the club. Hleb (15m), Adebayor (£30m).
That raises 45m. I would bring in Villa (17m), Silva (13m’ish) and Veloso (18m). Total spending equals 48m. Use the 25m that we already have to supply the extra 3m for Veloso.
Total Kitty = 70m
Total Spending = 17m (Villa) + 13m (Silva) + 18m (Veloso) + 13.5 (Nasri) = 61.5m
That will leave is with 8.5m to spend on a extra CB if needed.
That would give us a very, very good team.
I hope Wenger reads this!
But ofcourse it will not be this easy!

There’s no point getting attached to players these days. Most of them are too effing stupid to realise when they’re onto a good thing. So if they’re that stupid they want to leave great clubs like Arsenal (or Manure in slimey’s case) then let them fuck off.

Yayas injured and recent quotes have him saying he is concentrating on recovering and playing for barca next season. I also think Wenger has Diaby in mind for the DM role and wont buy a Flamini replacement to block Diaby/Denilsons progress.

I know ive said it a hundred times, but AW should get what he can for them and let them dissapear up their own arses on someone elses payroll. Fuck them both. If they belive they are too good for us then let them fuck up their careers elsewhere, and hopefully when barca or milan part with a collective £45 million for these one season wonders, it will teach them a much needed lesson, the player poaching pair of tossers.

To my knowledge there is no statement of Adebayor wanting more money. The only way he is going out is if/when Wenger decides to sell him in another Anelka type of a transfer (in terms of cash), which puts us in a great position to lure some serious talent. The way I see it it is a win-win situation. I’d prefer for Ade to stay, though as losing two first teamers in one season is enough.
Was Theo’s new number digested here? I am over the moon that he is putting on Titi’s 14. If he can achieve half of what his predecessor did, Arsenal will be flying and England might qualify for a tournament (if Cappello picks him of course).
As for the ice-cream man, he’s done and dusted. I can’t wait to see the back of him. Greedy, ungrateful prick. I hope Barca buy Arshavin and withdraw their interest so Wenger flogs him back to Stuttgart or Wolfsburg.

Gazzap more or less right. You cant buy 30 goals a season, Villa wont do that – so Addy should stay unless his demands are ridiculous. In todays market he is worth 80k per week obscene though it may seem. As to Hlebb his behaviour has been far worse than Addy; furthermore he is easily replaceable. Remember he scores no goals, creates very few, but looks good if you like watching the way crabs move- sideaways

Ade has had a good season for us and seems to have a knack for scoring in big games, but I think if we are getting offers of 28m for him then we need to think hard. With that money we can get more strength in depth to our squad. Maybe we could gte Eto’o in the deal. I think he would be amazing for in a team like us and the way we play.

Adebayor seems to have delusions of grandeur and thinks he is a lot better than he actually is. Ok he had a reasonable season but probably missed 4 times more goals than he actually scored. Remember that 6 of his league goals were scored against Derby!!! If he hadn’t had such a head up his arse attitude when he refused to pass to Bendtner at Birmingham we would have gone 3-1 up, been 8 points clear and who knows how the season pans out. We have come back from the loss of far greater playes than Ade and Hleb and if they don’t want to play for the club then they should fuck off now and have a nice life!!!!

I remember a game against Sunderland during the “Halcyon” period (silverware times) when Arsenal had something like 17 corners to sunderlands 1 or 2. Common Hleb, stop the crap and leave Arsenal for good. With GBP12-15m, should be decent for Wenger to buy David Silva.
As for Ade rumours, Wenger should cash in (whoever Milan, Barca or Norwich City etc.) for GBP30m and buy Huntellar to partner RVP up front. Spare change to buy CB in form of defender animal Kompany (Hamburg).
Yeah, Wenger should piss off the lunatic Eboue too. For free. Maybe to Sp*rs or Real Mallorca, former club of Samuel Etoo. You know, favourites of apes lunatics. FYI, Etoo still think Sp*rs is a useless mid-table team. Haha.

cant see the difference between ade and hleb in all honesty ..
hleb’s agent was pushing for a a move away , and so is ade !
ade has been linked with AC and barca , whilst hleb Inter and barca …
The agent works for them , he doesnt go rouge and just go off the rails without the players say so !! Both players are want aways for more money both have said it , ade saying’ you only move if you want more money’ , and hleb saying ‘he only has 2 or 3 good years left ‘ so we is going to cash in on them …
Its obvious both parties don’t really care where they end up providing conditions are better $$$$$$$$$ wise , i will say i think ade’s situation is worse !!!
As he came out and laid a smoke screen to the fans saying he’s not leaving !

I think hleb currently can see for the next 2 or 3 years or more, our club will always be 2nd best . wengers plan if you can see it , is a long winded ,let the youth evolve to greatness plan , which hasn’t worked so far , and probably wont work at all ! with any great vigor !
Its ok if your happy with hovering around 4th spot and winning nothing !
But other teams are hiring talent , so the gap is getting closer every year , and unlike us they are all buying players for next season ! because that is what is important !

I always believe in wenger because if he sells someone, he’ll certainly have a better replacement or an alternative gameplan in his mind. Why do we need star players?? No one complained when we won the title wit a young PV n TH.. Everyone complain about arsenal selling stars. Were any of them young?? Except anelka.. But see who came in for him.. N wat dat guy is to our club.. That’s wenger.. I support him in watever he does.. He always does things for the safety of the club.. I dont think ade will go until wenger gets a replacement for him.. I think if i was AW i would take Hleb & Ade around the armoury and show him what our club meant to the likes of Mclintock,Wright,Adams,O Leary,Sansom,
Afterall is said and done are we not the people who go every week and put the money in there pockets??and to try and demand a near 300% pay rise thanks Ade you have shown your true colours.
look at Cesc,Clichy,Sagna,Toure these all understand and are proud to wear the red and white.
Ade is definately like his hero Kanu who did exactly the same after his first season he demanded more money when we were the only team to take a chance on him especially with the heart problem he had.

Those who say that Hleb sucks, doesn’t understand much in football. Though Hleb didn’t score too many goals, he was the reason why Arsenal played so beautifully and scored so many goals. Arsenal worth nothing without him, and Nasri came to replace Rosicky.
I can’t believe that we have supporters with so much lack of understanding of football.
