So, Diego has been put forward to replace Hleb in the event he leaves, and frankly, he needs to, Diego would be a perfect replacement, he’s pacey, dribbles like Hleb but unlike Hleb he can finish and at 23 is four years younger.

I just would like to say that I find this Blog a must because of blokes like Pablo, and for that matter everyone who contributes. Unlike some of the money grabbing bastards like Flamini and most probably Hleb, we the fan don’t have the option to bail out when it gets a bit tough. I bloody love watching Arsenal on Fox sports, I can’t help myself, its infectious, & to be able to get opinions from those of you”@ the coal face” so to speak, it helps blokes like me down under to get a proper grasp of the real emotion @ the time.
I’ve followed Arsenal since Charlie George whacked the winner in the ’71 F A cup. Had the privilege to be @ Highbury that May Friday night in 1989. PISSED??? and how, & now thanks to the wonders of technology can sit back comfortably @ home some 20,000 kilometres away and never miss a game. So to Pablo, keep those sparks flying.

geoff i dont mind defending myself…and now if you go back and read my post it was mocking the other posters who post one line and say this player is shit….all i want is people to give a reason ….is that too much to ask for…besides did I once ever say anything negative about the site?…i dont care if my comments will not be posted in the future but I will come back to read on this site…arsenal.com is the last place i would like to post because obviously they will not take the criticism….and i like to criticize when appropriate eg when eboue is played down the right….I was questioning the fact that flamini is getting the stick after a stellar year where if we would have won the epl and CL he would have become a “legend” in our folklore…but now some posters are even calling him the reason for our loss to liverpool …..i hope you see the ludicrous side and not merely that he is a regular poster so has the right to remain unchallenged with those comments….all im saying is people are bitter about his loss so they are blaming flamini…we should admit the failure on our part too…..no?

as i said in my earlier post flamini was a one season wonder, and we will be fine and flamini wont do well at milan… i was in the bernebeu when we beat real madrid and flamini played ok at left back in that game, nothing great… he was crap in the 3 previous seasons to last, i hoped he would be sold last summer, so arsene was totally right to say prove it, and if gilberto would have not come back knackered from the copa then flamini would not have played… what happened next amazed me and most, flamini was fantastic and had a great season and sad to see him go but fuck him now.. to give perspecitve its as if the same happened to eboue or senderos, and next season they are amazing and then out of contract, would we want arsene to sign them two on long term right now? heck no… im eboue and senderos’s biggest critic but i would be dielighed if they do a flamini and do well… i doubt it…. as for hleb sort of similar really, his first few seasons really piss poor remember his tackle knocked us out the CL v psv at home, but last season he was fantastic, pure class… i really think all this was and is a squad thing, everyone playing for each other and pushing each other on… its arsenes magic, so really the main issue for us all is will we have that same spirit next year – not who will we sign… we have to pay for the stadium, do we want aresnes magic to turn unknowns into a fantastic team playing fantastic footie and only a few penalites from glory (gallas handball v man u & diving scouseer CL)…. or… do we want usmanov and dein making us a chelski…. or a combination of the two, its a hard call but for me im happy as we are… we will finsih in the top two next year even if we buy nobody, thats my prediction… arsene knows!
