If both stories really are true, Wenger has no one to blame but himself. He created this monster and now it is up to him to kill it. He has a degree in Economics – clearly not one in people management. All these players that are leaving are his, he knew their characters when he signed them so he should not be surprised.

Ethan, Odub and Steve, whilst I agree that Ade does have a shit first touch , is always offside and sometimes couldn’t hit a barn door, I still think he gives us other options, and sometimes his first touch is awesome, that goal at Shite hart Lane and the one at Newcastle, and he does occasionally work hard.

Just heard Gab Marcotti on 5Live. He said that he heard a rumour that Arsenal agreed to a £3m/£4m buyout clause in Hlebs contract, and that it comes into force after the 3rd year of his contract. He said that he has not been able to 100% confirm this rumour yet, he is still seeking clarification from his sources at Arsenal. He also stated that Arsenal didn’t push the boat out for Flamini, as they didn’t see him as one of the “IRREPLACEABLES!” Apparently Diaby is to be given his big chance in centre-midfield. Finally, he said that Arsenal do pay big wages for the big players-Gilberto is on £4m/year. So if he leaves,we save on his wages, which coupled with Flamini’s & Hlebs wages frees up alot of money for new arrivals. Maybe we will see a few big signings afterall!!!!!!

This time last year, I could see little right in Adebayor, and the frustrations in his play used to drive me up the wall.
But as this season has gone on, he has convinced me that there is definately something there. His main faults were being offside, finishing, and first touch, but his work rate has always been excellent, he will chase down anything
And he is fixing them faults, his nack of always being offside has slowed down, he is learning to time his runs better, sometimes he just makes an superb run and the pass has been too late for him. His first touch is getting better too and his finishing is of course his most improved attribute.
I know it is your opinions but for some of you, to give a guy no credit whatsoever after a 30 goal season is an insult to the lad. I am not sure on the stats, but I would imagine in the last 30 years only Alan Smith, Ian Wright and TH14 have achieved that feat. In fact i checked it only 7 players have done it since the war

He’s our striker . He is frustrating to watch , has NO class about him , his attitude is growing faster than his skill .. He’s slow , cumbersome, wont pass to any fellow strike partner , cant keep the ball at his feet ,losses possession 70 % of the time .. has to be in the goal mouth to score .. (and thats not good when we sometimes play 4-5-1 ) Id like to see him be so productive now flamini and hleb is going .. his offside count this season is woeful and negates the goals he scores .. 64 offsides ! Id shudder to think what tally TH14 would have by now ! 40′s 50′s … and thats with his current form !

it was a collective effort imo ethan. ade isn’t the only player who can score goals, and certainly only 1 player shouldn’t bare the brunt of the team’s effort. defenders should’ve maybe done a better job, we weren’t helped by injuries, midfielders could’ve maybe supplied a few more to the forwards (although they got a very sufficient amount of ball going forward imo)…
could argue a thousand points, the fact is we didn’t win, and yes, its time to look at next season and see what we’re able to improve upon and were we can do better, an extra 2 placxes better that is! =D

Well i got to say i feel more positive about song than you , least the guy is still
young enough to learn , hasnt got 1.5 years of being played regularly at arsenals
top branch to judge him properly either .. ade on the other hand at almost 25 should be a far more finished article . But i think song does look better in a CD role .. as against DM.
Thing is song will get 1 or 2 chances if he has a bad game and thats it .. ade has had over 40 chances this season and should have been dropped for about 1/2 of them !
in fact thats further proof that we are light – on when it comes to quality strikers , he had no other option but to play him even when he wasn’t scoring , senderos screws the pooch just once or twice and you never see him again .. But he is a prime exsample of his skill level hasnt improved when it should of done .. lack of chances maybe but you cant say that about ade , he looks just as crap as the 1st day he played for the gunners ,in fact his offside count has got worse , his 1st touch has got worse since he got his TH14 ego ..

This is pure tactics from Ade’s agent. Hleb and Flamster are off which puts Arsene in a difficult sport. He cant loose an additional first team player, as that will mess up the team. Ade knows that, and are now just using the situation to push up his paycheck.
Pretty sure Usmanov & Kroenke are getting pretty frustrated with the fact that we cant hold a team together to to wages etc. I’m 100% sure one of these bokes will do something drastic over the summer.
