Barry, Pjanic, Dimitrov in? and new Young player of the year Cesc

by & filed under Uncategorized.

Gareth Barry will be on his way to one of Chelsea, Liverpool or Arsenal, Panjic, the young attacking midfielder all the top clubs are after and Dimitrov who has had a trial at Arsenal are all being linked to join.

Cesc Fabregas rightly wins young player of the year and says ‘this is for all the team, and all the fans, because all together we have had good season even though we haven’t won anything at the end’

‘This is thanks to them as well.’

Now that sounds like he will be staying and hopefully as captain, I don’t think they can give it to Kolo as he and Gallas are similar and if that did, Gallas would be off, Cesc has shown great tenacity this term and deserves it after this award.

Hleb has again stated he wants to stay and Flamini has to make his mind up this week. I would prefer a premier league replacement if he went and Barry or possibly Nolan would fit in, and find there form quickly, overseas players take too long, aka Flamini, Hleb and Rosicky.

Rosicky I think is a great player, but a long term crock, which is a shame, but we have to realise that, and move on. Robinho looks like a shoe in swap for Berbatov so we will still need a winger and that could be one of the above two, and I confess I know little of them, maybe SWP would come too..

We had a few weekend knobbers on, and for you Grovers I have saved a couple so you can see what we save you from.

When you consider how many new Grovers we got at the weekend, so 6 bores from 7,000 good ‘uns is not a bad return. Tonight I think we’ll see Ade, Robin and Theo start, with maybe Denilson, if fit, starting in the middle.

I expect nothing short of a big win tonight and am going for 4 nil to the Arsenal

Don’t forget though we need to add to the squad as this season we were woefully short of good cover in many positions.

Thierry to return? don’t bet against it, maybe a Hleb swap, I’d prefer them both, Henry will come back very humble, but his experience could see the kids through.

Have a great day Grovers, we are running out of games, and this week we should see how next season is shaping up.

I’d like to see NickB get a run in the team; he is far from the finished article but I do think he has some promise.

I’m worried though about his relationship with the rest of the team (not just ade); it’s happened a couple of times now when he’s scored and only Theo has got to celebrate with him – is it just me or does that strike you as wrong?

I think if he had had the starts this year he’d have delivered the goals as well. It’s not easy coming on for 5 minutes and then not play for 3 games and then another 10 minutes.

I give him a chance in the last 3 games and see what he can do.

    What do you think?

  2. Evo in OZ

i like Bendtner too….i think the team were pretty happy with him in the spuds game, but i do agree scuba that there is something there….

  3. charybdis1966

Yes, Scuba, Bendtner should be given a run.

As for Ade, I recall reading that the turtle-faced, drug cheat at Salford United says Ade is the striker he hates facing the most.

That makes him just worth keeping in my eyes. Plus we said all the same things about Drogba when he first started -except for Ade has never been a diver and faker of injuries in the the way that Drogba has always been.

Hopefully, playing alongside a world class striker next year will improve him – and if he learns the offside rule properly.

  4. ScubaGooner

Yeah Evo but the spuds game was just before Xmas and it was the spuds…..

something has happened since and not just the bust up with ade in the CC game

  5. Evo in OZ

well gotta hit the sack lads, got to get back up for the game in less than 7 hours…

    catch you all later on!

  6. ScubaGooner

I don’t know BB; I think Cruz has done alright and not bad for the money spent. I do agree though that he’s not for us

  7. BB

scuba .. whilst I reckon that Nik B is not devoid of talent, we already have one giraffe in our team.. I dont think that we need two rigid hardly mobile centre forwards .. I would much rather us playing a flair quick turning dribbling guy upfront. (Theo anybody).on that basis, I would suggest we get rid of either Ade or Nik..
this means brutally that we should either sell or loan Nik out .. we are not running a charity for giraffes

  8. ScubaGooner

Charybdis – if he becomes the new Drogba next season, I’ll be the first to take it all back and tell everyone what a cunt I was for even suggesting he should go!! :-)

He made it to the PL team of year as well – above Drogba, Rooney & co. How do they decide who’s in team of the year? Good to see Sagna and Clichy get in there.

  9. ScubaGooner

BB – don’t disagree but you see that’s the problem; long term I think NickB would be the better option for us not ade

    Theo works for me

  10. BB

i dont see where Nik B would have more talent than Ade .. I ust cant see it
point is .. none of them fits into our football system.. but Ade is superior to Nik at this stage and results prove it.. Nik B played an average campaign at Birmingham ..
came back to us .. and played in a reasonable amount of games .. scored a couple of good goals – Spurs,Pool.. but by and large, whenever he started, he was piss poor
and we clearly dont need both of them

  11. chris

ha ha chary, what better way to wind down after a match than have a braney with the ground staff, you know if it was arsenal it would be al over the papers, plus with ballack/drogba issue, sadly we are not immune to the media like these gits,

  12. Finestcuts

Santa Cruz is definitely one of the hottest strikers in the Premiership, how can a player who scores over twenty goals for a mediocre team, including a hat-trick in his first season not be rated?

Manyoo are after him. Would he be suitable for us and improve our team? Yes, we could make him even better, he’d be a 20+ a season striker than us. There are of course better strikers than him but he’s better than a lot of big names, he’d definitely make it into the top 10 list of PL strikers. Better than Rooney, Crouch, Bendtner, Walcott, Yakubu, Johnson, Martins…..and those are all good players.

I suspect Wenger will bring in someone better than him, I really hope so. Derby will be a good test for us because we’re going to give them a chance and field a less than optimum first eleven. This is their last home game of the season, and a couple of goals against Arsenal would definitely bring the Ram Raiders joy, so we need to be on our mettle.

In this type of game with no trophies to play for, it’s a good time to give the squad a chance, and they’ll be very motivated to bring home a win, their place in the team next season is at stake.

We can’t be heading to Derby thinking we’ve already won the game, this is a big game for the young players and underdogs can always spring a surprise. Like Barnsley against Chelsea…or against Liverpool….or Birmingham against Liverpool on Saturday.

Take nothing for granted and you’ll enjoy the celebrations even more should we win, but of course any team we play against them will be superior to any team they’ll field.

The class difference can be overcome as illustrated by the FA cup. My prediction for tonight stands as a clean sheet and at least three goals, although this being Derby’s last game their battling spirit might return to them, and they could give us a better game than expected.

  13. charybdis1966

Chris, I canb’t help thinking if we were in ManUsa’s position the screecjhes and howls of outrage from the tabloid gutter press and the Murdoch owned Sky empire would be demanding Wengers be hung drawn and quartered and the team repatriated.

    “Arsenal shame Premier League”
“Another chapter in Wengers Hall of Shame”
    “Send these foreign mercenaries back”

Talksh**e would be demanding Arsenals relegation and that munter Durham would be the chief executioner..

  14. ScubaGooner

NikB already has more talent; better control, able to hold the play up, can pass to others and has a better understanding of the offside rule – not the finished player by any means but worth more games – how might he have improved if given the same chances as ade?

Have to agree though that in a perfect world I’d trade them both out the door – do you think AW will get rid of either?

  15. ScubaGooner

    3 nil sounds about right; I don’t think it’ll be a landslide…..right now I’d settle for 1 nil and 3 points!!

  16. Ethan_gooner

    BB

NikB and ade are similar in talent height and statue .. Difference is AGE and nikB can pass ! and will keep our passing game alive ! nikB is 19 ade 25? …
So as a plan B and both are work in progress .. I think bendtner is a safer bet .

    ScubaGooner
Sorry for harping on about it ! But a few people who thinks the sun shines outta his… well…
Need a cold dose of reality .. 26 goals is a poor return compared with how much more productive he could have been .. and its not by a small margin ! The margin in my eyes was title losing ! no goals in 10 or 11 games .and the same time losing the lead ?! HELLO ???. If he had scored in at least every 2nd game we would have had about 10 more points !!!!!!!!!!
yet all the time he was on the pitch .. in them 10 games the cunt was giving the opposition the ball so often .. 64 offsides .. woeful skill .. 1st touch is in the toilet .
I dont really care about his ego ! i care about his class on the pitch ! And the best for arsenal FC !

Its like if someone came out and said ! that eboue what class ! he’s like ronaldo !
he is just a magician on the pitch .. Fuck me i know what half of you would say !
infact all of you … :)

If the ade lovers want to look at the facts look at offsides -successful passes -
time on the pitch -possesion lost – shots on target – assists .. his huge lean spell when someone needed to step up and give us points OR lose the title race ..

Sorry if someone like villa wants to join us or keep ade i know what logic i would follow!..

Arsenal (from): Fabianski, Toure, Gallas, Song, Clichy, Walcott, Fabregas, Gilberto, Denilson, van Persie, Adebayor, Lehmann, Almunia, Bendtner, Senderos, Eboue, Traore, Djourou

  17. BB

scuba .. he wont get rid of either of them .. as for Santa Cruz, he played for 5 years at Bayern..hardly a small team where he was hailed as a great talent, but never made the grade
so maybe he is Blackburn material, but not CL/EPL winning material ..imho

  18. ScubaGooner

Ethan – interesting point – if AW’s love child was suddenly to start scoring 10 or 12 goals next season but was still a twat would we say he was doing okay because he’d scored goals? It’s same logic applied to ade scoring…..

Hopefully though, he’ll be somewhere far away next season……fat chance!!!

  19. BB

ethan .. whilst I dont disagree on Ade’s shortcomings, I dont see the qualities in Nik B..every time he played upfront from start, he was mediocre.. also the team trusts Ade a lot more than Nik B .. there must be a reason for that
bottom line though is that unless Wenger sells upfront, he wont buy unless unless its Th14 coming back..money will go to different areas on te pitch .. if you listen to Wenger, Fabianski has 3 games to convince him not to go for a keeper
I didnt like much of Fabianski from what I saw this season
we are really running the risk of ending up even shorter than last year..scary scary

  20. GMR

Wenger spends all season moaning about international matches & having players called up, but then when his players aren’t called up he does nothing but say how much they deserve to be playing for the national team.

I’ll be absolutely delighted if Clichy & Sagna are left out the French squad for the Euro’s. The less players we have playing in that tournament the better as far as I’m concerned.

  21. ScubaGooner

Chris – that was my earlier point re Cruz – for £3.5m he hasn’t done too bad considering the price of some. BB makes a valid point though re him not really making it at Bayern – would he fit for us; don’t think so – we need a star name!! Plus as you rightly say he’d cost 7-8m now for sure.

  22. Ethan_gooner

    BB

only difference is lack of opportunities .time on the pitch to get some confeidence building going on .
same could be said for senderos , a lot of players need some faith given too them by giving them time on the pitch .. Remember diarra ?

NikB is a work in progress , but at least he is mold-able .. and at 19 has a certain class about him , even for a lanky big man ..
Yes both offer a plan B .. problem is we have operated all season without a plan A !

  23. chris

great point GMR, but as decent lads i will be happy for their chance to shine. but i’d prefer fully rested squad members come the next season

  24. Finestcuts

If I didn’t know much about Fabianski I’d probably be in the same boat as the majority of the public…..a bit para that he’s a young lad and that it might all be too much for him.

I watched an interview with Fabianski before he moved to Legia, and I was very impressed with his level of maturity and intelligent, he’s very articulate, confident and at the same time humble and respectful. He’s kept this attitude all year and hasn’t gone spastic like some of the soft heads we have on our team.

As far as his ability goes, he’s a natural, someone like Rooney, he’s just porn with the reflexes and co-ordination needed at top level, he stepped straight into professional football and straight away started winning accolades. So I’m on Wenger’s side on Fabianski, I know he is very good.

As for Santa Cruz, I don’t think we’d get him for less than a tenner but I don’t think we’ll be bidding. He had a lot of time out at Bayren Munich and was always talked about as being a great potential talent, potential he has now fulfilled .He has all the attributes you’d associate with a good striker, he’s quick, has a good first touch, is an aerial threat, has good positioning throughout the game.

I think if we were to poach any EPL striker it should be middlesbough’s new lad ..
He wont take too much time to come to grips with the EPL .. And by next season he will make his mark . Alves has shown sparks of being a good player …

Cruz is better than what we have currently … But villa has sent out an SOS ..
I think it would be incredulously stupid not to take him up on the offer ..

    AT ANY PRICE !

While acquainting myself with a new elderly patient, I asked, “How long have you been bed-ridden?” After a look of complete confusion she answered, “Why, not for about twenty years — when my husband was alive.”

Three guys were at deer camp. They had to bunk two to a room.

No one wanted to room with Steve because he snored so badly. They decided it wasn’t fair to make one of them stay with him the whole time, so they voted to take turns.

The first night, John slept in Steve’s room and came to breakfast the next morning with his hair a mess and his eyes all bloodshot. The rest of the guys said, “Man, what happened to you?”

He said, “Steve snored so loudly, I just sat up and watched him all night.”

The next night it was Garry’s turn. In the morning, same thing–hair all standing up, eyes all blood-shot. Once again they asked, “Man, what happened to you? You look awful!”

He said, “Man, that Steve shakes the roof. I couldn’t sleep a wink. I just watched him all night.”

The third night was Herb’s turn. Herb was a big burly guy who loved to fish and hunt — a man’s man.

The next morning he came to breakfast bright eyed and bushy tailed. “Good morning,” he said.

The guys couldn’t believe it! They said, “Man, what happened?”

He said, “Well, we got ready for bed. I went and tucked Steve into bed and kissed him good night. He sat up and watched me all night long.”

everyone left to go see the match?
Odub has been the quitest ever, he is on holidays tommorrow so he must have fucked off early,

  30. chris

Finishing the season empty-handed does not necessarily mean there should be a change in captain, according to Fabregas.

The midfielder may be seen as a captain later in his career, but he said: ‘I don’t know. This is not in my hands, it is the boss that decides that.

‘You have to respect William for what he has done in football and what he is doing now, for me he is doing a good job.

‘For me, the most important thing is giving everything on the pitch – that is what really matters to me.’

  31. choy

yeah well.. i don’t think acting like a prima donna on the pitch is any good.

cesc is a smart boy.. he knows it’s coming to him.

  32. BB

if we continue the way it has started, there wont be any players left to be captain

maybe we should give it to Song!!

  33. Odub

“What matters at the end of the day is a trophy,” said the Spaniard.

“We didn’t win one this season but we will be up for it next season.

“I think we will win something, of course.”

“I’ve always said that I’m grateful for what he did for me and what he is still doing for me and this club,” he said.

“He has great scouts around the world watching and he is intuitive about his players. He has the smell for who will become a very good player and a good person.”

  35. goonerjay

Odub… yeah we’re selling everyone and instead taking over an orphanage in Zimbabwe in the hope that in ten years we might win the league… but our wage bill will still be higher than most.

  36. chris

as chary called earlier, its good to see some media involvment in the post manu/chelsea bust up, fucking gits,

  37. Odub

    gotta love this kid chris!

legend in the making, if he stays with us for the next 5 years plus, we will proud to see the emergence of one of the all time greats.

He’s not yet a great but he’ll get there, I do however think he doesnt need the added pressure/weight of being made captain so early in his career.

  38. Odub

Nothing’s changed then goonerjay, although I heard the orphanage was in burkina faso!!

chris, I bet no one gets fined or punished for it! If that was arsenal players, I bet all our previous misdemeneors would have been listed for all to see by now!!

  39. charybdis1966

Those bas***ds at Sky and The Sum are part of the the Murdoch Empire and as we all konw Sky have a shareholding in ManUsa so they can hardly do anything other than big up ManUsa.

It does annoy me, the inconsistent traetment we get in the media.

But I’m old school Arsenal – I grew up getting abuse for being a Goon in classes full of ManYoo and Liverpool fans – and this in an Essex school ! I’m used to my team getting the spikey end of the media stick – the f***ers !

  40. goonerjay

On the bright side my fellow gooners… we have the best womens team in the world and the best under 18′s team in the country… apparently our Academy is the best around… As for the 1st team… we’ve got Clichy, Sagna and Fab so that’s nice

  41. Finestcuts

Good one Chris, LOL, thankfully I’m way too young to remember any Cliff Richard stuff but some of it cracks me up……
I like the colours in the vid though, those old colour films look cool these days, like a hazy happy memory.

what is the record for the highest score in the prem by the way….

reading the reports.. looks like ferdinand, evra and hargreaves could be given some disciplinary action….

    we’ll see….

9-0 the mancs beat ipswich, andy cole scored 4 0r 5 choy,

I know cos the in laws are ipswich fans, and anytime they start ribbing me, i bring it up!! Ha ha!

  44. Finestcuts

Nah we won’t get the record tonight, it’ll happen when we least expect it, they’re not going to roll over and die tonight, itll be like an FA cup game against a Championship team.
They know if they score against us, there’s a chance for that player not to be sold off to Macclesfield or Port Vale.

  45. choy

i think its going to be a cagey affair unless we get an early goal.. and even if we do.. we tend to relax…

    9 – 0 is a goal every 10 minutes… awesome!!

  46. goonerjay

    that’ll be the one… weren’t far off.

I remember that Ipswitch game because a week before Ipswitch beat United 3-0 or 3-1.

  47. GMR

Sky don’t have any holdings in Man Utd since the Glazers took over, they had to sell up.

Having said that they still stay on the right side of Man Utd knowing they are the biggest club in Britain & could easily break away & do their own tv contract when the current deal expires in a few years time, so they do their best to keep them sweet.

It’s amazing that sky laugh that brawl off. If it was Arsenal they’d be calling for a points deduction regardless of it happening after the match. The FA will do f*** all either, they’ll look at the incident from the CCTV & then say there’s not enough evidence to charge anyone.

  48. Odub

Finestcuts, dont like the sound of cagey mate, quick first goal and let the obliteration commence!!

Would be nice to get one over that cnut savage one last time before he fucks off into retirement.

  49. GMR

Liverpool did beat Palace 9-0 but it wasn’t in the premier league years, it was the old first division. It was the year Crystal Palace made the FA cup final, knocking Liverpool out on the way!!

  50. Odub

    That’s the one t-buzz!

    GMR spot on!!

Sky didnt even report the brawl AT ALL until after MOTD had highlighted it saturday night!! I didnt even know anything had happened until sunday morning, they must have known because you normally see the warm down going on behind them after the game! Biased cnuts.

  51. chris

Andy Cole was the first player to score five goals in a Premiership match, for Manchester United vs. Ipswich in the 1994/95 season. The final score was 9-0, which is also a Premiership record for the biggest victory/defeat.

  52. goonerjay

i reckon 4-1 tonight… but you never know we might score 2.

But seriously i reckon 3-0 to the Arsenal.

  53. Finestcuts

Records in the English game. It was 9-0 Manyoo Ipswich, so we’d need a goal every 9 minutes to beat that.

Biggest away win goes to Manyoo again, 8-1 over Nottingham forest..

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football_records_in_England

We last won the League three seasons in a row in the days of Herbert Chapman.

Bendtner holds the record for the fastest goal scored by a sub, 6 seconds against Spuds.

Spuda are already largin’ it about next season. For years they’ve had a bigger stadium and more income than us, and look where it’s got them.

They paid almost the same amount for Modric as Barca paid for Henry….and Modric hasn’t even played in Serie A or La Liga, they’re mugs.

Ramos thinks he’s a hot shot superstar…..all he’ll do is get them back to when they were “doing well” under Martin Jol next season.

  54. t-buzz

thats what I was thinking too goonerjay! If Le boss fields the “yoof” team we could struggle to win 2-0, but if we go gunz blazzing then we’ll get the job done 20 mins into the game.

  55. charybdis1966

GMR – I didn’t realise SKY had “glazed” out. Their behaviour/bias hasn’t changed though – the cnuts.

  56. GMR

Spuds stadium has never been bigger than ours.

WHL only holds 36000, although apparently they are going to increase the capacity there as opposed to building a new stadium. Funny that as Levy has insisted he’d never increase the capacity at WHL unless the council made travelling to & from the stadium easier & transport for london done something about the station.

I wonder if its got anything to do with Joe Lewis losing 500 million!!

  57. Finestcuts

Yeah I hope it’ll be a stroll in the park Odub, but battering the Rams in their last home game is actually a tall order, and against a CL team, they have a point to prove.

Not only that, to have a freeflowing game we need tip top players in tip top condition, if the youths get us a 3-0, I’ll take that but they haven’t played enough together to gel in one game, this will be a challenge for them.

Derby would be delighted with a draw, if they put a lorry in goal and start getting leary there could be cards flying….they’re like a really desperate dude trying to pull a fit bird….they’ll try all sorts of dodginess and that brute savage will lead by example.

  58. goonerjay

Finestcuts… tell me about it… not sure what blog it was but there was a spud on 1 Arsenal blog this morning saying Arsenal are just a bunch of cunts and that they were going to over take us in the league next season because they’ve signed Modric… giving it the usual spud delusional shit.

I replied to him ‘it’s cunts like us that make pricks like you stand to attention’… there was no reply.

  59. GMR

Charybdis1966 – Sky had no choice but to sell, they weren’t allowed to purchase more than 9.9% of the shares anyway, so the Glazers taking over forced their hand. I bet they’d have loved to remain shareholders & blocked the club from ever doing an independant tv deal.

  60. Finestcuts

Yup oops, Spuds capacity is 2000 less than Highbury was, I somehow thought Spurs had a similar capacity to Stamford bridge.

lol why would i be having sleepless nights.. in fact i can sleep more peacefully….

let them cnut fans see who buys their club with 600mill debt

  68. Big Raddy

I was told on the blog, that there was an £18 million difference between coming 3rd and 4th. Ther must be a shitload of money for becoming Champs. Anyone know?

  69. Finestcuts

The pound is linked to the performance of the dollar, and that’s not going to improve so Britain will effectively be forced to join the Euro or suffer a pound weaker than the Euro. When that happens Manyoo will be in deep trouble.

Yes they have a stable business and media coverage worldwide but it will still have an impact on them. There are former super clubs who have had good times and disappeared into obscurity like Leeds united and Nottingham Forest.

I don’t think Manyoo will be hit as hard as that, but we’ll be in a much better position than them, when our income levels are unmatched by any team and the club is debt free, we’ll be the major force in Europe, and we’re already heading that way spending peanuts in football terms.

  70. GMR

Big Raddy, that was me who said about the 18 million but it wasn’t based on 3rd or 4th place.

Last season the premier league winners got 30 million prize money & then it goes down a million for each place you finish, so even the bottom club earn’t approximately 10 million.

This season the prize money has increased (because of the new deals) so the premier league winners get 50 million & once again a million less for each place lower, so Arsenal would get around 48 million & the team finishing bottom (Derby) will get 30 million!!

These aren’t exact figures, as I think the winners get 50 million & the 2nd place team get 46 million & then it goes down a million each place so in truth Arsenal would get 45 million this season. Last season they got approx 27 million hence the 18 million difference!!

  71. Big Raddy

FC. That is not good news for me !! I live in one of the most expensive countries in the world, and get paid in £’s.

Looks like I am in shitstreet again…….. Hope the dollar recovers!

Anyone heard the team for tonight?

  72. Big Raddy

Thanks GMR. That will buy a fine winger, and I understand that Barca are re-training the Great Man as a winger.

Maybe it has all been a ‘cunning plan’ by AW

  73. Finestcuts

Big Raddy, whenever the dollar falls, the price of gold rises, commodities are the safest investments at the moment because of the economic boom in China and India and the high price of oil. Gold has almost doubled in price over the past four years. The higher price of oil means it costs more money to transport goods….higher demand in developing countries also forces prices up.

The dollar will not recover, it has intentionally been devalued to cut a long story short, and even if there are short bursts of recovery it is an unsustainable currency. Best commodities to buy? Agricultural commodities…stuff you use everyday like coffee, sugar….those will all go up and keep going up. So preapre for the credit crunhc, it’s not a case of IF it will happen, but when.

The pound is doomed, so is the dollar.

Pedro… if i type up a petition could you chuck it up onto the site to get some names on it? I’ve gotta do something i can’t spend another summer stressing about how the Scum are gonna over take us next season because the board and wenger refuse to spend money.

It seems every Arsenal blog going at the moment has got fans complaining about Arsenals lack of ambition… not as many AKB members about as there were last year, looks like people are starting to lose patience.

PLZ PEDRO LISTEN TO HIM OTHERWISE OUR CLUB WILL BE DOOMED AND NEXT YEAR WE WONT BE IN THE TOP FOUR IF WE WONT SIGN EXPERIENCE PLAYER.I FEARED ARSENAL WILL LOSE THE PRIMIERSHIP WHEN WE DIDNT SIGN A QUALITY DEFENDER IN THE SUMMER WINDOW AND THATS WHAT IT TURNED OUT TO BE.I THINK ARSENE IN RESTING ON HIS LAURELS .WE FANS SHOULD WAKE HIM UP AND ASK HIM FOR WHAT WE TRUELY DESERVE…TROPHIES. I DONT WANT ANOTHER SEASON GO BY…WERE WE ARE BUILDING A TEAM.I HOPE ARSENE LISTENS TO US

  75. choy

lol.. mayank when has wenger listened to the fans regarding transfer targets…

i’m sure he will sign players in the right department.. he’s seen where we’ve fallen apart.

    keep the faith…

  76. Pedro

    Hi Chaps,

I’ll have a look at the e-mail a bit later!

    I’ve been massively snowed today!

Finestcuts, your use of the term ‘Red devils’ got you spammed earlier…! It prevents many mancs getting on here, so apologies for that!

What is all this economic talk? Gold…?

Have some Man U figures come out?

Inform me please! I’ve been talking figures all day and I need a football update!

  77. chris

    i love the banned words,
is it not bollox that sky essential ignores the games that are on setanta, team news is the most relavant piece to be displayed and it get fuck all coverage

  78. Pedro

Chris, you sent me a link to Setanta sport news once?

You could get the line up of that right? Loving the pic by you name! I have no idea what Odubs is!

    The band words are marvellous…

They are annoying if no one is checking, but on the whole, most don’t notice they’ve said a black listed work.

  79. Pedro

Eboue… fuck me, do we not have a 14 year old who can step in?

    I’m off to the pub…

Don’t say red devil, ryan or scouse…

  80. choy

hey i saw this on another website:

    Fabianski
    Eboue Toure Gallas Clichy
    Walcott Song Fabregas Denilson
    Van Persie Bendtner

  81. Stupid

song is going to run the show from the middle of the park tonight.

the lad is powerful, wenger has relentlessly stuck by him.

and he showed glimpses of a controlling a game from that holding role in the ACN… power is what we have missed, proper protection of the centr halves.

a 6ft plus 14 stone rotweiller in the middle of the park

not a fucking 5 ft 7 mutt who thinks of his pocket beofre the club.

  82. t-buzz

2 corners already by Derby, we are giving the ball away too easily.

Chris and Evo, cheers guys, finally watching it via footydoctor!!

  83. Finestcuts

Awful defending from us. Funny how RVP misses a sitter and gets one from open play.
Derby have had a good go like I thought they would.

  84. Finestcuts

Lovely, Adebayor gets his 30th goal! A hat trick in 45 minutes, quality stuff, well done Adebayor! A much better second half.
